Since "The Hobbit" movie has reinvigorated people's interest in Middle-earth, Warner Bros. Maybe "Fieldrunners 2" isn't groundbreaking, but it sure is fun! It's also possible to play levels in survival mode to gain extra points. Some levels task players with blasting their way through a set number of rounds, some require players to destroy a certain number of enemies during endless rounds, and some require guiding enemies into preset traps. Over twenty levels of intense action are available, but they aren't all played the same. Pausing the game also shows the paths that enemies take. One handy feature that I love is the ability to pause the action at any time to survey the battlefield, place or remove towers, and/or rest my brain. Don't be surprised to see dozens of infantry coupled with tanks, motorcycles, helicopters, airplanes, etc. Most Tower Defense games overwhelm the player with huge numbers of enemies, and "Fieldrunners 2" is no exception. In addition, single-use items such as rewind, deep freeze and the frostinator are highly effective tools to defeat stragglers and also create high-scoring combos. In essence, creating the right path is just as important as deciding which towers to use.Ī huge variety of turrets and gadgets are available: machine guns, rockets, tesla guns, flamethrowers, glue guns, railguns, mines and much more! There are also "link" towers that strengthen surrounding towers. I appreciate how most levels are large and open, adding depth to game play by forcing players to create winding pathways. This action-packed game takes Tower Defense to a whole new level by offering enjoyable game play and gorgeous visuals. Who could have known that setting up a variety of towers that automatically blast hordes of mindless automatons into oblivion would be so much fun? "Fieldrunners 2" was released on iPhone and iPad in 2012, and now those who refuse to bite into the "forbidden Apple" can enjoy this great game on their PC! Not everyone likes Tower Defense games, but those who do find them strangely addicting.

Fieldrunners™ is a series of 2D plant-attack, tactician games created by SubAtomic Studios. This has many campaigns, levels and modes which are really worth to pass time.

I have already played all of its series games from Fieldrunners to Fieldrunners Attack to Fieldrunners HD and now Fieldrunners 2.

I remember playing Fieldrunners back in 2012 with my first gaming console, Sony PSP. This game has no end as well because it has many Endless battles which will really challenge your strategy.

And now, Fieldrunners 2 is already available on Google Playstore and I immediately buy it. HAHA!

Glad you’re liking it! Some species of dragon will be introduced with a full breed profile later as they appear in the storyline, so for now I’ll introduce some of the most basic draconic species you’ll see in this world!

First off is the breed of dragon that Arthur (Louis’ dragon) is: the English Fieldracer.

Fieldracers can carry one to two riders and are known for being very fast, good at flying and maneuvering through tight spaces, having excellent reflexes, and a very quick mind. Which make them ideal for crowded city travel in places like London where they can whip around corners and weave through and above other commuters without crashing.

Because they spend so much time flitting above crowds and scrambling across rooftops, urban and suburban fieldracers’s claws are by law kept filed down to keep them from accidentally slicing a pedestrian or damaging building walls that they perch on or crawl up.

The name fieldracer and fieldrunner are used interchangeably, sometimes even varying from town to town, but both names mean the same breed of dragon. There’s several local variations of the fieldracer that differ slightly in temperament and coloration and other small features, but they’re all originally bred from the wild fieldrunner which is a scrappy breed of dragon native to the UK.

The English fieldracer is the most gentle and reliable and also the palest in coloration. The ones with the lightest hides are the most expensive and a kind of a status symbol. Arthur actually has no real color at all since he is a rare Pearl Fieldracer of the highest bloodline, which publicly marks Louis as coming from a very wealthy family to be able to afford a dragon with a pearly sheen.

The English fieldracer also has an outrageously sweet temperament that makes it perfect for crowds and one of the rare breeds legally able to wear an open bridle, which means that its mouth isn’t strapped shut while riding. (A closed bridle is essential as a basic safety measure with most other more aggressive breeds while being ridden or handled.)

Drakes

Drakes are wingless and herbivores, meaning they are much easier and cheaper to feed since they can be turned out into a pasture to graze. They’re not as smart or fast as dragons, but they’re much less expensive, more docile, and easier to train. They aren’t good sources of meat, but can carry heavy loads long distances, fulfilling a role similar to a pack horse or an ox.

Drakes also have the distinct advantage of being able to pull wagons, which dragons are literally too flighty for. Drakes don’t have wings that get caught in harnesses, aren’t nearly as easily spooked or high strung, and their tails are docked short while young to keep it from getting caught in wheels. (A dragon with a docked tail would be unable to fly or even stand upright since it’s so important to thier balance, but Drakes ajust to not having a tail pretty quickly since in the wild they can drop thier tails naturally to escape predators.)

Common drakes usually appear in basic greens and browns and yellows, but more expensive strains can be found in fancier hues that fetch higher prices for customers who want carriages drawn by specifically colored and matching animals.

Wyverns

The other draconian species you’ll find in society are wyverns, which are commonly seen as pests that are often exterminated from areas where they’ve gotten too cocky.

Wyverns are generally small, with different species ranging from the size of a crow to the size of an eagle. (Though most bigger strains have been hunted to extinction due to them preying on sheep and small children in rural areas.) Some wyverns are kept as hunting animals and are used to go after rabbits and stoats and even smaller wyverns, but training is difficult, keeping the species from properly being considered actual pets.

These days the cat-sized omnivorous nuisances are generally grudgingly tolerated since they help keep down vermin on farms and in cities and around docks, even if they’ll swoop down and snag your lunch right out of your hands if you give them the chance. If they get too bold they’ll quickly be beaten back, but for now these reptilian scavengers play an important clean-up role in society in countries around the world.

These three classes (dragon, drake, wyvern) are found in various forms in pretty much every country across the world, although breeds and their uses shift and change according to differnet countries and cultures. You’ll be able to spot them in various capacities throughout the story!
