Gerald's Game (2017)
"People are safe from ghouls and ghosts and the living dead in the daylight. And they're usually safe from them at night, if they're with others. But a person alone in the dark... women alone in the dark are like open doors, Jessie, and if they scream for help, who knows what might answer. Who knows what people see in the moment of their solitary death. Is it so hard to believe that some of them might have died of fear? No matter what the words on the death certificate say... died of fear... because they saw, at their bedside, the Moonlight Man. Maybe that's just what death looks like."
Another Mike Flanagan's masterpiece and based on the book of Stephen King of the same name.
Accidentally, the husband suffered a heart-failure during a kinky game. With the wife handcuffed to bed with no hope of rescue, she begins to hear and see strange voices and visions.
A must-watch if you love to see some fucked-up plot and stuff.

Russian Doll (2019)
“Fun is for suckers. Staring down the barrel of my own mortality always beats fun.”
Netflix’s Russian Doll is a comedy-drama about a woman who dies over and over and keeps returning to the night of her 36th birthday party. But it’s way more clever, dark, and edgy than its Groundhog Day-like premise would suggest. This show, in its eight 25-minute episodes, delivers plot twists and gut-punches as it explores mortality, grief, redemption, and forgiveness.
This comedy-drama show is created by Natasha Lyonne and "Saturday Night Live" alum Amy Poehler that serves as a writer and director for the Netflix original series.

The Green Mile (1999)
"I'm tired, boss. Tired of being on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. I'm tired of never having a buddy to be with, to tell me where we's going to, coming from or why. Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head, all the time... Can you understand?"
This 3-hour movie is a story about the head of a execution prison, Paul Edgecomb, and once-in-a-lifetime happenstance he encountered. Meeting a big black man with a thinking of an innocent child named John Coffey (Like the drink, except not spelled the same 😆) as inmate, Paul's life transformed into something meaningful when he discovered that John holds a very special gift.
This movie is based on the masterpiece book of Stephen King (Hell, yeah!) with the same name.
The movie can be streamed on Netflix.

The Haunting of the Hill House (2018)
“Mom says that a house is like a body. And every house has eyes and bones and skin. A face. This room is like the heart of the house. No, not a heart, a stomach.”
Tumblr media
The Haunting of Hill House is an American supernatural horror drama television series created and directed by Mike Flanagan, produced by Amblin Television and Paramount Television, for Netflix, and serves as the first entry in The Haunting anthology series.
One thing about this show is that it is an another series that showcases an another dysfunctional family. Trust me, family-horror and horror-house type of horrific are those which are hard to accomplish! Provided that each character must be given justice.
Tumblr media
The cast, cinematography, jump scares, plot, theme and the all-encompassing performance of the show is really well-established. The insertion of the jump scares are very much on-point, hereafter revealing that it is really a part of the narrative that must be executed firmly!
The shock and the goosebumps are immaculate!
Mike Flanagan is a genius. Basing this series on a book by one of the most powerful horror author we ever had, Shirley Jackson. I have not yet seen the book but I know S.J. is great for she is one of the classical authors who inspired Neil Gaiman, Stephen King and the likes.
This is one of Netflix Treasures.

Plus the musical soundtrack is a catch! 💚

The Shining (1980)
A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where a sinister presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from both past and future.
The movie is based on Stephen King's Book of the same name and based on the brilliant direction of Stanley Kubrick. A critically-acclaimed film which provides the higher degree of sheer terror and psychological horror a movie could offer.

Sometimes, she said, he would take human form so he could punish the damned on Earth before claiming their souls. Fieldrunners™ is a series of 2D plant-attack, tactician games created by SubAtomic Studios. This has many campaigns, levels and modes which are really worth to pass time.
I have already played all of its series games from Fieldrunners to Fieldrunners Attack to Fieldrunners HD and now Fieldrunners 2.
I remember playing Fieldrunners back in 2012 with my first gaming console, Sony PSP. This game has no end as well because it has many Endless battles which will really challenge your strategy.
And now, Fieldrunners 2 is already available on Google Playstore and I immediately buy it. HAHA!
Cheers for more years of Fieldrunners. 💚✨

I'm Thinking Of Ending Things (2020)
"It's good to remind yourself the world is larger than the inside of your own head."
"I'm thinking of ending things." This is the main line that offers the opportunity to open the film and to have its title as well. It is an obfuscate, mystifying, disturbing movie but still moving enough for you to discern what is going on.
See it for yourself and see how the screen writer of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Charlie Kaufman will leave you speechless again.
This can be streamed on Netflix.
