#I’m so ready for this chapter to be done with #and I had a lot of hope that I could manage an update this weekend but I found out today that x is coming to visit #and listen. I’m at 20k so statistically it’s gonna get done sooner rather than later #but sooner might not be until next weekend and that frustrates me since I had an ideal update schedule I want to maintain #and I don’t want it to get messed up ma #*up #and it doubly sucks that the reason im so behind is that the holiday season kicked my ass on top of all the prep I had to #*to do for my friends wedding and I just. idk I don’t regret doing any of gang since it’s core memories but I kinda just reminds me that if #i want to live the life I want to live then writing will have to go on the back burner at times but I always want to be writing #like in high school my parents rented every episode of sharp’s rifle off of Netflix so that they could show it to me and my sibling #*sibling except I didn’t watch any of it since I was holed up in my room writing all the time like they all have this core memory of #watching this show together that I don’t have but if I didn’t hole up like that then I wouldn’t have practiced writing as a teen which #i needed to do since I wasn’t born a good writer and had to really learn if #*it cause I have no natural talents lmao yayyyy ok it’s 1am I’ll go to bed now #will delete probably

I said earlier that I was overcome with anxiety now that things seem to be getting a little better for me, fretting over the fragility of things...but honestly, I think I'm also in a good mood but a bad physical state, which is causing a lot of this

like, all these nice little things added up into some very good days lately! but I'm also still cold and tired and I don't think I slept all that well last night! it's probably not that deep...I just need more sleep! (but will I actually get it? or will I procrastinate on falling asleep and make things worse? I hate how little time I have left in my day after work, so I do stay up more than I should...)

#one of my problems has been that i cleaned off my bed but i still managed to drift off to sleep on the couch accidentally #i got sick all through December and i just haven't wanted to go back to my bed because i was bedridden for awhile and it sucked #so on top of all the rigors of the holiday season i was getting...not enough sleep and trying to sleep on the couch #my bed mostly became a space for clean laundry but now i have a new basket for that lol #(not gonna bother putting some clothes away if i wear them to work any time they're clean and ready lol)

when I tell you that the guests today were directly from the pits of hell I’m not even exaggerating…why was every person the absolute WORST

#usually there’s a nightmare guest every other shift #but today was EVERY single guest #i don’t even know where to begin #some dude describing his girlfriend’s body to me in the most unnecessarily grotesque and disrespectful manner #the lady who claimed that she had credit from a return on a RECEIPT…and that she *lost* her gift card #she stayed at our store for two hours.#or the lady explaining to me how I am technically not petite after I threw that word around to describe what length I like my leggings GDKDH #or the THREE guests who explained to me how ugly and atrocious our patterns are as if I came up with them😩😩l #or this person who tried to return $600 worth of stolen clothes and I had to grab my manager #oh and my personal favorite #there were only two people on cash and so obvi the line was long #and this bitch walks up to the counter and throws her jacket on the table and she’s VIBRATING with fury #about how she almost walked because of the line and she wouldn’t respond to anything I said lmaoo I even wished her a good day at the end #and she looked like she wanted to murder my ass #I was fr having a mini panic attack at the register #everyone needs to click their personal reset button bc what the fuck was that #you know I’m pissed when my retail voice drops 😵‍💫#I do not get paid enough for this shit #I was disassociating on my drive home hskdhdk #I honestly don’t think I’m ready for holiday season #on top of this our new assistant manager is a fucking useless incompetent CLOWN #but that’s a story for another time🫣
