Send me a ♔ for me to describe a favorite rp character of mine.
Probably Matt. Mainly because writing him forced me to change how I approach writing a character. All of his replies are written without any references to sight. I reread my partner's reply countless times so I can make all of the references Matt would need to navigate the situation; heartbeats, sounds, scents, perfumes, shampoos, temperature, etc. Maintaining a healthy balance between this information, inner monologue, actions, and dialogue in every single one of his replies has been a challenge but I love him for it.

@honorhearted's Ben Tallmadge. Turn is such a small fandom so I have no idea how the hell I found them but so happy I did! They are so wonderful and patient. Their Ben is the hidden gem of Tumblr, I swear. Ben's voice is so accurate along with his mannerisms and some of the headcanons we have for Clint and Ben are hysterical. To make it all so much (and I absolutely love this fact) they actually research what would be accurate for the time period. Lobbycock! They are such a joy to see on the dash! If you are not following, I would highly recommend!

I've been really wanting to do a plot around Matt and his hatred of swimming. First off, he can swim. He's not Michael Phelps but he is skilled enough to keep himself alive. Water really messes with senses, both overwhelming and "blinding" at the same time. I've been dying to do something around this but I'm also very hesitant to because I fear the thread would turn into Matt being mocked. The whole thing is supposed to be a moment of vulnerability and chance for a deeper connection with another muse but I really worry it would be Matt being mocked for being afraid of water, which he's not.

I wrote a reply to very heavily angsty/emotional thread. Like I was tearing up writing the reply, which is extremely rare for me. I posted and was eagerly waiting for my partner to read it and I got an anon in my inbox. Someone who apparently reads my threads (?!) had cried when they read the reply. I was FLOORED. I didn't even know anyone but my partners even read my threads so that alone was a massive compliment. Then to find out that the reply had brought them to tears! Any time I doubt my writing or myself, I just think back to the anon. I don't know who they are or if they still follow me or not but they really made me smile. It's been years and I still think of their anon when I'm feeling down.

So it was a toss up between this and the time I was bullied to the point I nearly left tumblr.
Someone had followed me but I hadn't followed back. They sent a message to my inbox asking me if I would write with them, that they love my blog, yada yada yada. I caved. I said let's do a test thread but I wasn't going to follow back because they wrote mainly very short threads, a few sentences to a paragraph, and I didn't want all of that clogging up my dash. They were excited and instantly going on and on about wanting to be best friends. I explained that I had just gone through a fallout with someone a few weeks before and I wasn't interested in getting close to anyone at the moment. All I wanted to do was write and that's it. They said they understood. We did some plotting and they wrote a starter. A few days after they posted the stater, they asked me when I was going to reply to it. I explained I am a slow rper and that it's in my rules. A couple more days pass and they ask again. Once again, I explain I am slow with replies. Over the course of 10 days they asked me 4 times and each time I would say they same thing. Also, over the 10 days they are constantly messaging me; telling me how much they love me (not my writing, me, as in I love you), giving me a play by play of their daredevil rewatch, and so many headcanons. They really ignored the boundaries I set in the beginning. Day 11 I break and softblock them. They were causing me so much stress. Within minutes, they send me a message chewing me out, cursing me out, and wishing bad things on me and blocked me immediately. Holy shit. They don't respect my rules and boundaries that I very clear laid out multiple times to them but I am a piece of shit? That was almost two years ago and I still remember the blog name, just in case.

1. Are you named after anyone?
First name, no, but my middle name yes, after my great grandmother
2. When was the last time you cried?
This morning :,< I was in a lot of pain and the pain meds were not kicking in at all. I'm a lot better now but today has been a down-for-the-count kind of day as my energy level is really low from that. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be more productive
3. Do you have kids?
Do a puppy and two kitties count? :3 Otherwise, nope. No tiny humans in my life but maybe one day in the far future.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
When the situation calls for it, yes, or if I am comfortable with my surroundings cause I try not to be sarcastic if I'm around new faces
5. What sports do you play/have you played?
I was an avid dancer until High School and then traded out the dance shoes for an instrument and did Marching Band till College. I only really played soccer in Physical Ed classes and/or with friends and I used to play street hockey as well but again all of that was just for fun with friends as I was never part of a sports team.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?
Oh. Good question. Appearance-wise, their eyes. Non-appearance wise, how they hold themselves or talk to other people. Sometimes you can tell a lot (good or bad) by how someone talks to others or how they act in certain situations. I dunno if that makes sense but that's usually what I notice as a quiet observer.
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
Definitely not scary movies as I am a scardy cat XD I can barely sit through any sort of scary movie so if it's between those two, happy endings it is!
8. Any special talents?
Apparently (at least according to my friends and co-workers) being able to braid my hair, like a French braid or a fishtail braid, is a talent of mine because I can do it without a mirror and also while I am walking. And yes, they are really good-looking braids XD
9. Where were you born?
A small town in the hills on the West Coast of the states in the southern part of said state. I moved up north when I was still little though.
10. What are your hobbies?
Video games for sure, Writing, Reading, Theater (More so theater tech over acting but occasionally I will act) Singing, Roller skating, Yoga, annnnd crochet!
11. Do you have any pets?
I have two cats and a dog! My two cats are twins, one is super affectionate and vocal (my sister's cat) and my cat is a sleepy old man who is very selective of who gets to cuddle with him (usually I can say someone is good people if my cat likes them XD) and then a very cute and energetic puppy who is small like a lap dog but she's actually a full 40 lbs as she's mixed with a pit bull and a corgi! She's the sweetest pup I've ever had <3
12. How tall are you?
152.4 cm!
13. Fave subject in school?
I absolutely loved English/Creative writing and then History mainly ancient history if I had to narrow it down.
14. Dream job?
Working at a professional theatre in some capacity whether I am working the Front of House as a House Manager or the Back of House as a Tech or Stage Manager :3 and as of this year, that dream job has become a reality <3
15. Eye colour?
Hazel but my eyes will change to green depending on certain factors!

And while I think Bum and Sangwo's story was a tragedy and it tore me emotionally cause I do think those two ended up loving each other in their own very fucked up way, I don't view it as bl nor as romantic in any shape or form.)

1. Are you named after anyone? I was as far as my deadname's concerned, but the current name I use isn't really after anyone. I just liked the meaning.
2. When was the last time you cried? Last time I had a good cry was at the end of Endwalker. I didn't expect to love a bunch of pixels as much as I do, but the Scions, Ancients, and Meteion are a special bunch.
3. Do you have kids? If you count my cat, yes. But I am only ever going to be a cat dad. xD
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Oh, no, not at all. Heaven forbid. (It's my mother tongue at this point)
5. What sports do you play/have you played? I used to play softball back in middle school, but I was definitely not made for sportsball. I would much rather be creative and make things.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people? The way they treat people and interact.

For a book, maybe...The Astonishing Colour of After- Emily X.R. Pan. I listened to the audiobook recently and liked it a lot. However, I'm not 100% sure if it's underappreciated. I just haven't seen it talked about much. Maybe three times, so I consider that underappreciated.
For a movie...The Fox and the Hound, maybe? It might've had some popularity back in the day (?), but it doesn't seem to have much attention now. And even back in the day, I'm not sure it had too much popularity.
Favorite thing to do on a rainy day:
Wear my housecoat and just relax for the day. I get really lazy on rainy days. Even if I have important things to do, I just don't wanna do anything.

Know the mun/blogger
1. Are you named after anyone?
Don’t think so, for the first name. Middle name, yeah, after a famous Star Trek captain. My dad’s a Trekkie. I was told he wanted it to be my first name, and then he wanted my first name to be “Captain”. I have no idea if that’s real or if my mom was teasing, tho.
2. When was the last time you cried?
I honestly don’t remember the specifics, other than it was within the past couple of weeks and it was a sappy moment in a TV show.
3. Do you have kids?
I do, a nine year old daughter and a seven year old son
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Not a lot, usually if I’m angry or irritated. I’m more of the “corny jokes” sort in most cases.
5. What sports do you play/have you played?
None, at the moment. I played soccer and baseball as a kid in little league. I was pretty bad, I’m not the athletic sort, and as I grew up I developed something of a disdain for sports.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?
I think probably faces in general.
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
I am very much a happy endings sort of guy, and I HATE poorly written ones. Nothing will cause me to turn on a series/franchise quite like a poorly written ending.
8. Any special talents?
I’m a fast reader. I rarely give up on things (which means I can also be stubborn).
9. Where were you born?
Texas. Don’t hold it against me tho. I’m pretty much the opposite of what the stereotype of people from there tends to evoke.
10. What are your hobbies?
I like video games and writing a lot. Currently enjoying a lot of worldbuilding for my homebrew D&D campaign setting.
11. Do you have any pets?
I am sadly allergic to both cats and dogs, but we do have a gecko. Her name is Ginger and she is a cutie. I’ve posted a few photos of her around here if you wanna see.

6 feet tall. Not a particularly short king but not super tall either.
13. Fave subject in school?
Anytime it was time to hit up the computer lab was my jam heh.
14. Dream job?
Don’t really have one. I’ve always looked at a job as “Something I do to be able to enjoy the rest of my life”.

1. Are you named after anyone?
By my middle name, I am! After my great-grandmother <3
2. When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday cause I was just in a lot of pain for reasons :< but I am a lot better today and able to function!
3. Do you have kids?
Do my cats and dog count? :3
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Eh, sometimes? If the situation calls for it but also, I'm sometimes terrible using sarcasm and detecting it XD
5. What sports do you play/have you played?
I was in marching band during HS, I did dance before that but I was never really on any sort of team for sports unless you count the neighborhood kids getting together every so often to play hockey in the streets! Other than that, no, no much of a sports person--maybe soccer every now and then but I'm more of a yoga/pilates type person to get the movement in.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?
Physically: their eyes and smile
Overall: how they carry themselves/act around others
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
Over the two? Happy ending cause I am a scared-y cat XD I am not one for scary movies...suspense/thriller/adventure, absolutely! But something that belongs at Halloween Horror Nights? I'll take the happy ending over that any day.
8. Any special talents?
Uhhhh I'm ambidextrous? I can braid my hair without a mirror and I can walk around while doing so?
9. Where were you born?
Along the West Coast of the States! :3 ( And that's all ya get ;b )
10. What are your hobbies?
A lot! I like to write, crochet, play video games, do pilates/yoga, sing and dance, cosplay, draw (though I'm not the best at it), sew, and watch the stars and collect seashells <3
11. Do you have any pets?
I have a cat named Zero and my sis also has one named Miyavi. Both are grumpy old men but we love them lots, even if they sing the song of their people at 3 AM in the morning when I'm trying to sleep. Zero is my sweet prince and I love him to the moon and back. I also adopted a dog with my sis--her name is Boba and she's the CUTEST and sweetest pup I've ever had and she owns my whole heart. <3

5'0" :3
13. Fave subject in school?
Creative writing, English, and History of Theatre.
14. Dream job?
I'm working it <3 I've always wanted to work with a professional theatre company and earlier this year, that dream came true!
15. Eye colour?
It changes--anywhere between green or hazel, it depends on my mood. I've been told their more green when I'm sad/tired. and any other time, their hazel.
