Was hesitant to post because I didn’t really like how it turned out, but this was my first drawing of Asgore from awhile back. It’s a bit stiff and awkward because of that but oh well, I wanted to do my own take on him and his armor. This was also my first time drawing an anthro character since middle school lol

I hate seeing wholesome goatdad headcanons because honestly it just makes me so. Mad. technically we don't know anything about him but there's enough outside information to DESPISE HIM!!!!! I HATE HIM!!!!

why would he adopt a grub, knowing he wouldn't be able to care for it properly? why would he leave said grub behind in a hive, alone, knowing there were harmful substances in his reach?? if goatdad needed to be in the sea for whatever reason why would he adopt a land troll???

and I think it is a very minor thing that never gets talked about but I mean. he robbed gamzee of happy and somewhat stable (by their societal standards) childhood. he let his child get addicted to something horrible and allowed the addiction to fester, leaving him. and also I don't really remember if it's canon or not but if he DID leave and repeatedly come back thats even more fucked up!!!!!! not too sure about that though. I know he definitely left but I'm not sure if it was a one time permanent thing or if it was him coming and going. it just makes me mad.
