I don't know what to say......this book was so unexpected. I am still picking my jaw up off the floor after that sick twisted plot twist. Wow!!! This book definitely should come with a warning label. It has so many triggers in it. So be warned this book is not for the faint of heart and should be read with caution. So don't go in and read it and put a negative review, because you have been warned. It is full of darkness, and the sick twisted mind of a serial killer with a conscience.
Death is watching, so you best not do anything bad or he will be at your backdoor. Ella is full of light and is very loyal to her family and friends. But she has a secret of her own and she has caught Death's attention. He is watching and waiting to make his next move.
This story kept me enthralled till the very end. It is mysterious, yet sick and twisted. But yet you just can't put it down. It is like a train wreak....you just can't look away. It draws you in and captivates you. The sick and twisted mind of Death is scary and will shove fear down your throat at the same time it will turn you on.
This book is full of blood, gore, danger and murder. It is an edge of the seat read that you just can't put down till you complete the j0urney. It has a plot twist that is jaw dropping and very unexpected. It keeps you guessing throughout and the very ending has another unexpected twist that has you saying no way! I was completely blown away. This intense read is scary and exciting at the same time.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the dark and sinful romance times x 1000. It has all the key elements of a good smut read with a heavy dose of horror. Just be sure to check out the trigger warnings in advance.

Kitty Taha has the opportunity of a lifetime, an internship on a dig site in Egypt. Returning back to her roots of her father in hopes of finding her long lost uncle. What Kitty doesn't expect is the infamous Dr. James Campbell to be so....what is the word....hot!!! Definitely hot. But he is so grumpy and rude to his students. This summer will be a rough one, but maybe love will be found.
This book was fun and cute to read. Kitty is a strong, independent and resourceful woman. I loved her character and how serious she is. Dr. Campbell is grumpy, serious, stick in the mud, hot and sexy alpha male. But reading his story and the development of Kitty and him was awe inspiring. I loved the dominant personality of Dr. Campbell and how it bleed into his relationship with Kitty. It was steamy hot fun. Both characters are successful individuals with wonderful brains.
I enjoyed this book overall and loved the story and back drop of Egypt. I have always found the pyramids and history behind Pharaohs interesting. This made this book even more intriguing and interesting to me. The characters were the added bonus in my book.
I look forward to more from Ms. Woods in this type of romance genre. Enemies to Lovers, Professor and Student troupe.

Funny and charming but sweet, steamy and heartfelt, this is one of my new favorites. I swooned hard for Legend, for the duration of this story. I absolutely LOVED this story!
The chemistry between this couple was straight up FIRE! I struggled at times to catch my breath amid the butterflies sweeping through my stomach as I watched these two playing pretend. I squirmed in my seat as I devoured their sizzling, smoking, hot, romance scenes. And I couldn’t help but cheer when they finally got out of the friend zone.
“I’ve never wanted someone like I do Monroe. I’ve never dreamed of a woman being mine forever. Until now.”
Legend and Monroe deserve all the stars in the sky! I could not put this book down…it was so good. Their heartfelt and adorable love story had me grinning from ear to ear, a delectable and charismatic weaving of heart, heat and humor that captivated me from the beginning and wrapped me in a warm hug until the last. A beautiful romance that I never wanted to end! One I will revisit again and again!!
