Unpopular opinion (and I mean UNPOPULAR) but rocky is still a better program composition&concept than whatever porridge g/f are skating to. Is the execution worth the points they get? NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Would I rather watch g/f, even just doing warmup exercises? Yes absolutely, their skating is mesmerising. On return, their shot execution under pressure became the biggest contributor to the difference. While Vacherot put more pressure on Guinard to break for the first set, the latter tried his best to stay in the match by moving forward. However, Vacherot tried to adapt and fired a crucial forehand in the tie-breaker to strengthen his lead, thus allowing himself to serve it out to conclude the match. As a result, Vacherot had twice more opportunities to break than Guinard (10 to 5), with a 30% conversion to top it off while capitalizing on Guinard's frequent rushes when pressured.

Despite the tiny difference between both players, Vacherot slightly nailed his service games. Scoring 3 more aces than Guinard, he won 1% more points from his first serves than Guinard. On the other hand, Guinard's 3 double faults made it a little bit tricky, thus the vulnerability of his second serves making him 3% behind Vacherot with a 56% winning percentage, who double-faulted just once.

This marked Vacherot's overall third Challenger title this year, with his first and second titles were also won in Nonthaburi (Nonthaburi 1 2022 & Nonthaburi 1 2024). However, even if Vacherot has a 12-match winning streak that propelled his ranks to 172 live, since next week they ran in the normal schedule, Vacherot has to undergo qualifying again despite the possibility for him to win all three titles. Could be an interesting journey to follow in the upcoming moments!
