Piercings / tattoos?: I have just my ears pierced; tattoo-wise, I have a special geometrical design on the inner side of my left arm that I share with my 2 best friends and the letters LLAP on the inside of my right wrist (they stand for 'Live Long And Prosper', the traditional Vulcan salute from Star Trek and which I got as a tribute for my dad after he passed and before I moved abroad).

Glasses? Contacts?: Both - I use contacts most of the time, but glasses when I wake up/before going to bed to give my eyes a break.

Obsessions over the years have been varied but I think Captain Jack Sparrow likely has the #1 spot in my heart if you look at it from a time perspective and the sheer amount of things I own. Some interests and things you like: video games and animanga, mostly. i like (mostly j)rpgs, visual novels/otome games and rogue-lites. i used to bingewatch 30 episode animes in one day when i was younger LMAO. nowadays i mostly just stick to reading manga with my favorite genres being shoujo & josei. i don't stick to the new anime seasons anymore so these are some oldies, but my favorite anime of the past would probably be kaitou saint tail and nana. the newest anime i've probably enjoyed and actually remember is akatsuki no yona.

again a weird question (apologies) but have you ever looked into other JRPGs besides Pokemon?

[I haaaaave..! Though I guess it depends what you classify as JRPGs XD How loose can we get? Cos I mean, some people consider Zelda games to be JRPGs, others don't... some people, I think, don't even consider Pokémon to be a JRPG XD So it's hard?

I've tried Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, but I've never finished one. I've tried Chrono Trigger (but the DS version I played wouldn't activate a trigger?? so I've annoyingly never finished it). I've played Golden Sun (but got thwarted by Deadbeard, not realising that that was a post-game boss and I COULD back track off that island XD, so I've never finished it). Good track record here.

For "looser" "RPGs" made in Japan, I like Bokumono (Story of Seasons/original Harvest Moon) and their related spin offs (Rune Factory)... Rune Factory can be considered a JRPG at least I think... Bokumono itself is more like... an... RPG.... farm sim?? I suppose. And I've played some Zelda but frankly I'm not good at Zelda XD

I'm sure I've had a bunch of other JRPGs or similar on old consoles I never realised were... I guess Ax Battler. Was never good at that either though, the Game Gear would always die anyway... looking it up on Wiki, it's considered an "action-adventure" game, like Zelda II... So there you go XD

There's two main things I struggle with when writing Negan, the first being conflict in the Savior era. When it comes to how much power/control Negan has over people in that arc, it's tough finding a balance where his reactions to muses doing things that would result in "punishment" of some kind are realistic, while still keeping it fun for both parties to play, if that makes sense? I'm good with writing verbal threats and intimidation, but other muses can only act out/taunt him for so long before things would realistically escalate somehow, you know? And that's the stuff I have a harder time with.

The other thing is getting to develop positive relationships. Most characters hate this guy lol, that's always been a fact and I roll with it. But sometimes it's hard not to feel left out or like I'm missing out when there's memes going around that involve fluff, friendship, familial dynamics, romance, and so on, nice things, because they rarely make sense for me to send. Especially now that most of my partners who I did develop those positive connections with between our muses, are gone, and no one really writes the few characters that canonically like/tolerate him. But I also don't like forcing those dynamics without developing them.

It's impossible to pick one favorite scene... in the comics I really like his backstory, and also all of his scenes with Rick post-AOW. For the show, it might sound bad but I love his entire intro, it was really well done. I also like him saving Judith in the snowstorm, the scene where he reveals to the Whisperers that he's still alive and kneels to Alpha, and other scenes I'm sure I'm forgetting.

There aren't any scenes that are so bad that I can't stand to watch them, but I do find the entire scene leading up to him killing Carson to be really stupidly written for his character. I also don't see myself rewatching season 11 very much outside of a few scenes.

I guess my main RP pet peeves at the moment would be: assuming my muse will feel/act a certain way, pushing for romantic/sexual interactions when my rules are very clear how I feel about that, and people wanting more attention (through memes, starters, etc.) than they're willing to give back, especially if it leads to me feeling like they're not really interested in interacting with me at all.

I'm not sure what to say about his faceclaim... I like him? TWD was my introduction to JDM, though I later found out I'd seen him before in Watchmen. He's one of the few actors I feel any "attachment" to. Everyone I know that's met him has had nothing but nice things to say, so that makes me happy. His smile is infectious and adorable and while I couldn't care less about the sport, I love seeing him go nuts over football on Twitter lol.

being kind of lowkey stalked? or at least, i assume as much - by someone i've had to block across blogs. i just don't understand that? i've always been open about saying, like, if you wanna ask why you've been blocked - go for it. but block evading by following me on alts is bizarre? i don't understand the end game there. idk, mildly annoying but not like...awful. just a little strange.

☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

i'm very much over those blogs that are aesthetics with zero threading / character interaction. every post is either an ooc ramble or a little 'my character likes x lol' - i feel it defeats the purpose of rp. i've been mutuals in the past with someone who would constantly post interest calls, starter calls, inbox calls and then ooc posts / these one liners about their muse. what got me was that every post felt very baity. like, these short posts are, ultimately. they're an easy way for likes / comments without putting in a tonne of effort.

i guess, i'm just not a fan of the low effort style. & this is coming from someone whose head hasn't been in the game the last few weeks.

i think i just feel that people can run their blogs however they want but, they shouldn't expect everyone to like it.

✂ A fandom that you feel isn't open and accepting?

resident evil. 500000000000%. and it's a shame because there are a lot of very nice people /in/ that fandom. i feel, as individuals, the fandom is lovely but as a group - it feels a very hostile and anxiety-inducing environment. like, i've never joined a fandom and immediately felt scoffed at - but that fandom made me feel that way.

there's this vibe of like 'if you don't write a character a certain way, you're not valid' and it's beyond gross. certain portrayals are treated as gospel, while other - just as good - portrayals are shunned and scoffed at. it's a very gross environment. i've had conversations with multiple people from the fandom who feel the same thing & it's just a crying shame that so many re lovers will be disuaded by a small group of people.

my re mutuals here are the lovely ones - like, i've had nothing but good experiences with them and i /adore/ their portrayals. we're all resident evil lovers and we embrace it. others in the fandom? not so much, the elitism is genuinely saddening.

1. What types of threads are your most favourite?

Ohhh that depends a bit on the mood. Mostly I love angsty threads but sometimes I have a lot of muse for smutty threads as well. But I guess drama and smut is my most favorite 🤣 yeah I’m messed up ain’t I?

2. What types of threads are your least favourite?

Fluff and casual interactions. It just gets boring for me

3. What kinds of threads do you think you are best at writing?

I guess angst. I mean I do not like anything I write 🤣🤣🤣 so I’m not really good in saying what I’m best in but I think dialogues and story planning are probably my biggest skills so I hope I can use that most in angsty/dramatic situations.

17. Are you confident in sending memes, liking for starters, etc.? Is there anything you’d like your followers to know about your anxiety?

About sending memes, yes. The ones I send memes to know that I’d never expect them to answer everything or super fast so I’m not scared that I overwhelm them. As for liking starter calls, I prefer to plot something with someone and then we discuss a starter. But if anyone is like making a new profile or wants to start fresh and then posts a starter call I always try to like them. I have many anxieties about many things but I always look at it as being my problem and not the responsibility of my partners to deal with it. I stress myself a lot and I criticize myself a lot. My mutuals know that and that’s why I’m sometimes overwhelmed when I pile up too much stuff when I simply don’t find the time or energy to answer all of it. But I would never want my partners to stop sending things just because I didn’t answer something. I learnt over the last years to handle it. I know it’s okay to drop things. I know it’s okay to not answer. I would let my partners know anyways if I don’t wanna continue a thread or deleted some stuff cause I just find no muse for it. It is just my own head who is my biggest enemy telling me that if I don’t answer right away or don’t answer perfectly that my partners will leave me and hate me for it. But I learnt it’s not the truth, it’s just an illusion my self hating brain creates and my fear of abandonment. I sometimes have a bad conscience when I didn’t answer something in a while and still send memes, but I think all of my mutuals are so understanding and never pushy that we all respect each other’s time and have endless patience. Never would I push anyone to answer so I hope they wouldn’t expect it either. And if someone would overwhelm me or I don’t wanna get stuff send atm, then it’s up to me to communicate that and not to post memes (but I’m a meme whore and will always post them even if I have shit piled up 🤣). I think it’s in my hand to control that by simply communicating. So as long as I post memes, you’re all free to send stuff and even if I don’t I’m still always open to receive things even if I can’t make it to answer them cause it’s so nice for me to see all of you think of me and take the time to send stuff I absolutely adore you all for it. And also that everyone is so understanding even if I didn’t answer some things in months I never got a single message asking where my replies are, so I couldn’t be more blessed ❤️ the only thing that sometimes makes me anxious is when I get a lot of messages every day, cause I’m a very introverted person. It can happen I don’t answer and then I feel guilty but there are days where I simply don’t wanna talk but then my inner guilt pushes me to answer cause I don’t wanna seem ignorant or rude but with that I do something against my will and feel bad about it then (like a forced interaction). But again: that’s in my responsibility. If I don’t wanna talk I think it’s okay not to reply and it’s also okay to say I don’t wanna talk today. So no blame on anyone I’m just not a very social person 🙈 I think we should all learn to take more responsibility for our flaws and work on them rather than to blame everyone else for not seeing them right away. We are all no mind readers so we need to communicate. And I’m glad that I know I can with everyone that is here ❤️

Answered here! I’m having trouble thinking of any other specific face claims that would elicit my beautifully penned “Pavlovian Annoyance” in me. The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is the fc I interacted a lot with from the person we used to write with but you........already know about that situation so I don’t think I need to recount it again huh.

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever instantly unfollowed someone. I think the closest I’ve gotten is when I follow someone but softblocked when they were inactive for months. As in, they hadn’t posted in two weeks when I first followed and then four weeks later still nothing. But that’s not even instant, is it? I also scroll a bit back in their blog while checking their pages so it’s not like I’d follow then see something suspected posted three days ago and unfollow.

I guess if any hard “yo what the hell?’s were posted like soon after me following, like any of the -isms or -phobias, or if they make a really brow raising rant post. I guess another is if they’re a serial blog re-creator. But I also tend to follow a good couple of weeks or months even if I note something potentially annoying because maybe it’s just a bad mood they’re in that’ll pass or if they’re posting nothing but ooc maybe it’s just a funky bit of writer’s block. So I frankly honestly give a lot of time before I soft block people.

10. Honestly, I'm tired of the 'MC' s bro is an idiot pervert' trope. Which is why canon divergence plays a big role in writing Yosuke and Ryuji for me. My Ryuji is gay anyway, and not a pervert towards guys. Now, why was Junpei excluded from this? He is stupid and a bit of a pervert, yes, but he actually has a good character arc for it. Those who have or will play the game know. Play P3, it's better than P5, not sorry.

11. I haven't been posting much, but one day, I would like to write the reason why Makoto is so scared of the dark, always clings to someone and says "I'm sorry, sis" repeatedly as if she's done something wrong. It's interesting to see. My guess is because of her father's passing and believing that ghosts are real. She was young when he was killed, but we don't know how young. It's something to think about in the future.

Epoxy resin work. I'd like to try but unlike UV resin which is slightly more manageable, epoxy works quicker and a lot more dangerous to inhale. I'd need a large space to let air ventilate and that's just something I don't have.

Then it's useful, but I don't really like relogging and using them to attack one person or another.

Obviously it's ok to ask him questions about touchy subjects, that's fine, life isn't all about only hearing things you like and it can absolutely be fun to explore his past and such... deliberately trying to tip him over the edge with charged words and deliberate pokes... I'd say to keep that to a minimum, cos you're actively bullying him at that point. And if he shells up and won't talk to people anymore then that's that! There's not much I can do realistically if he's decided he wants to sit alone in the tent and nothing else, you know?

Treat him as if he were a real human being is what I'd say. If you wouldn't treat someone in real life that way, for example... maybe it's not kind to treat somebody who was mercilessly bullied for years that way (even if he IS fictional). XD I mean... would you really go up to a friend and take their food away from them and tell them it's for their own good and that they can't be trusted with a chocolate bar for example?

I guess it's the difference between something that embarrasses him and something that completely shatters his morale?

There's also the element that too much negativity thrown in his direction also gets ME down and the blog only continues if my morale is up. Cos I gotta read and process these. XD;

Hm...I dunno if I'd consider writing her as she last was before she kinda retreated into the recesses of my brain. I'd probably end up completely reworking her into her own OC ( she was already sort of evolving into her own character in her later stages anyway ).

I've talked at length before about how I feel about the infamous hospital scene in End of Evangelion. EoE Shinji is just overall a very different, more vitriolic character compared to what we see in the anime. I'll go ahead and link this meta I reblogged a while back because I basically directly quote it whenever I'm asked about this, they were able to put the vague feelings I had into words way better than I ever could LMAOSDHKDFJLG

I don't really outright say it didn't happen, but rather I try to figure a mental process that's a little more in line with the anime that would result in...yanno...that. I just feel like it's a little bit more of a challenge to do it that way you feel? Writing it out entirely feels like the easy, "it's problematic therefore it doesn't exist" solution, which really doesn't work for what Eva tries to be. In the past I've explained it as a lapse in judgement that not even Shinji knows how to explain ( not the most satisfying or in-depth, I know, but this is something I've been struggling with for years ). With him strangling Asuka on the beach, I've written it as some combination of him acting on pent up rage about how Asuka treated him, plus him needing to know he exists in the physical world again, therefore being able to touch someone. Mind you — holding up a big flashing neon sign here so no one gets it twisted — that's not to say any of this is justified behavior. It's not. EoE Shinji does fucked up shit, there's no two ways about it. I've just...tried getting into Anno's head about the whole thing, I guess. I've tried to think whether there's a universe in which this stuff happens. And of course, I'd NEVER actually write this shit out in RP. Not the time or place.

I just...I have a lot of complicated feelings about End of Eva. I don't actively dislike it as a film overall — it has some good things that can connect back to the anime, like "anywhere can be heaven as long as you have the will to live" and Shinji's ultimate rejection of Instrumentality. But it's hard to reconcile several elements of it with the ending of the anime ( which I prioritize over EoE as the conclusion to anime Shinji's character arc ), even though I've tried over the years. Maybe it's just my weird reluctance to just outright change shit about canon, idk.

If anything, I guess my answer to all of this is my post-EoE verse where things start to rebuild and look up for the cast. It's something I like about the manga and rebuild — they're a little more unambiguously optimistic, which I think ultimately does Eva's message of self-love and self-improvement better service. Post-EoE Shinji is generally in a better place mentally and regrets his actions in EoE. He chose a world of individuality, which means he needs to take ownership of those actions and do better.

🧶 — any non-writing hobbies/interests? (and!!!) 🎧 — do you write while listening to music/podcasts/videos/etc, or do you need total silence?

🧶So...every time I answer these kinds of questions it’s a struggle for me cause I think I’m such a boring person with no interesting hobbies ^^; I’m not exactly good at sports, drawing or anything like that. I guess I’ll list stuff I enjoy doing? Reading, watching anime/animated shows, video games, cosplay, writing, traveling, listening to music and making playlists, collecting things (plushies, funko pops, books, keychains, loungefly), watching youtube video essays (and critiquing along with them lol) voice acting (I also took voice class for singing in college), sometimes I like cooking or baking if it’s kind to me lol, and I find myself enjoying horror stuff surprisingly. o_O but I also turn around and enjoy the purple/pink girly sparkly galaxy aesthetics!

🎧It really depends on my focus for writing. Like if I’m feeling a vibe for a certain thread that I’d like some background music, I go for it and use it! However if it’s something I need to pay attention for detail or if it’s a longer post for me to write the thread, then I pause the music for a bit. Like right now, I’m listening to music writing this post! I know because these posts don’t need my full mind to answer them like asks, short or casual threads compared to the heavier threads.(Norgami 2nd OP of course it’s the one that pops up xD)

I guess, if I had to really think about it . . . Zhongluc / Diluc x Zhongli would be at the top of the list? Out of all my, quote, ' rare pairs, ' they're probably the ones with the least amount of artwork or posts, even though there's still a pretty generous amount. Perhaps another would be Kazuha and Xiao? Likely on the same level, in terms of available resources . . . maybe even a bit LESS, now that I think about it? Good thing with Genshin is that someone, SOMEWHERE, probably ships it, so we're not as starved for stuff as ships in other fandoms, LMFAO.

6. Name 3 things you love most about your muse/muses.

I did Cloud last time, so I'll do Zack this time! One of my favorite things about Zack is probably his tenacity. He keeps going, even when anyone else would have given up. He just has a drive to help people, even when his own life is in danger.

I also like his upbeat personality. Zack is an aggressively positive person, though that isn't to say he's always happy. He just knows how to make the best out of a bad situation. In many ways, he's the opposite of me, but I can respect that, haha.

And lastly, I like how Zack never loses focus on doing the right thing. A lot people would have given up on Cloud and looked out for oneself first and foremost, but that was never a question for Zack. (I'm not sure killing a whole platoon of infantrymen tracking him down was the "right thing," but you know what I mean.)

16. Do you prefer long or short replies and why?

Short replies are nice because they don't take much time. I tend toward longer replies, though, just because I'm a bit loquacious. Sometimes, though, it's easy to be intimidated by trying to match post length. I know I have that issue sometimes. You don't get that so much with short replies. But long replies are nice to really get into the head of the person you're writing, which is also a good thing.

So I guess...both? Both are good.

25. One thing you’d like new roleplayers to know?

Give OCs and characters you might not be interested in a chance! Some of my coolest threads have been with OCs. And I have no interest in Advent Children, particularly in the triplet characters, really, but one of my best threads I've ever had was with a Kadaj. I'm not saying don't vet potential partners -- I don't follow every OC or character I'm not interested in. But I like to read up on bios and a few RP posts before I follow. That's true of every blog I follow.
