Here’s the thing (underrated ship addition)

In a medieval fic like the ones I like to write (Ghosts Of Us, Virtues We Write In Water) my FAVOURITE dynamic is honestly Mary & Sirius being married. Like they are the king & queen of a country and rule together harmoniously. Like for all intents and purposes they are Married, it just so happens that they’re in love with other people aka queer aka they are having a public relationship & date other ppl in secret. I cannot express how MUCH I love this.

I think Marylily is popular because of Jock/nerd trope & also friends to lovers trope.

Wolfstar gets an 8 out of 10 for me and the only reason it’s not a 10/10 is because I just have so much fun writing them separately. Like I love when they’re together but for example Jegulus is SO fun to write as a ship, but Remus & Sirius as characters are so much more interesting to me individually as opposed to a pairing.

Like Sirius is 10/10

Remus is 10/10

Together they are 8/10

The math isn’t mathing I know. And I think it’s because they are both SUCH dynamic, deep characters that a lot of people when writing them tend to mellow one of the two out.

That’s why I love how you write them & also how @sophsicle writes them. Those are my 10/10 wolfstar vibes if that makes sense.
