If somehow Akihiro was the one who had to show up and arrest her (let’s pretend here - I’m pretty sure X factor could do that right?) he would have only locked one of the cuffs and left the other undone (but just enough to look fastened) and then he would’ve had Aurora speed her off so she didn’t have to go in front of the council because obviously she could never do anything wrong. He would have gone to the council himself instead. Tabitha, Jubilee, Alison, then Akihiro. They ask where Laura is, he says he doesn’t know. Scent masks from Logan so he can’t smell the lie. Hc he’s perfected mannerisms long enough his heart rate wouldn’t give him away. Obviously Logan knows he knows tho. He only gets her when the coast is clear. Gabby saw it all but doesn’t say a word.

That’d be a cute one shot.

Just realized that the reason I love making friends on tumblr is because it’s exactly how you make friends on the playground as a six year old. No, I don’t know their name but they love mermaids too and built this awesome sand castle. No, I don’t know their age but their imaginary cheetah is friends with mine. You like this show? You like this character?? You can sing the theme song really loud??? Here is a flower crown. Here is a juice box. You can share my time and I might never see you again but part of you stays in my soul forever. In my mind we’re still on the swing set and the sky is blue and nothing will ever be wrong again.

Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.
