#silly little vent #told through silly little stickers #I just wanna play my game please #I don't have much else to live for #if I go outside and do chores I'm gonna waste so much time #but I can't just sit here and wait #I was busy so I didn't want to make them wait for like ten to fifteen minutes for me to clear my bar #so I just did two songs every hour or two to keep the bar from being full #I was gonna clear it all after they left but then the server went down for maintanace #and I couldn't get into the game this morning because it updated #(I woke up later than I have been too) #so I got the Update fine whatever #waited for that #then I clicked on the app which had a long loading screen and then another download #and like okay fine that's nothing new #but THEN when I was FINALLY getting to the game- #uh no actually you need to download two hundred and fifty megabites of data in order to play this game we suggest you use wifi <3 #it has loaded four percent #now I'm EVEN FURTHER behind on the Event that I've already been struggling with #even though I was hoping to try and tier further during this Event but everything I did made that goal go down the drain #I'm just gonna fall even further behind and AGAIN spend all my time and energy just trying to catch up #I hate this #I hate this!! #Kit Status: spiraling horribly #Reason For Spiral: No silly Miku game #I hate my brain

I find it so painfully heartbreaking that Solomon just...laughs off all the derision, the name-calling, and possibly even did "evil" things on purpose because it's expected of him at this point. (He had not always been like this as Thirteen pointed out before). There was a time when he was "innocent". When his soul sparkled. When it resembled the kind of soul everyone in these god forsaken (pun intended with spite) three realms seemed to associate with the ever loved MC. He's just...worryingly carefree. And because he's like that, he feels even more of a tragic character to me.

Sometimes it even seems that he himself would seemingly make up excuses on why he's hated. Oh, it's because I'm a sorcerer this. I might have won a war against Devildom single-handedly this. I have forgotten. But maybe, I did something bad, that. Hon, you were doing that to SURVIVE. You don't have to be a faultless person to deserve compassion. You don't have to be MC to deserve to be loved.

One thing I hate so fucking much about people dig up shit to “cancel” people for is that they are never part of the affected demographic. They are not looking for shit someone did wrong 10 years ago because they want to make sure they’re a good person, they’re doing it because they want an excuse to hate them.

The obvious consequence of this, however, is that suddenly an entire demographic is deeply uncomfortable with a creator who once brought them joy.

A thread recently came out about how when Wilbur Soot was 19 he made a lot of very harmful antisemitic jokes. He is now 25 years old. He has talked numerous times about how much he hates the person he was before he was about 22, and how much he’s grown since then. He’s demonstrated this growth too.

The person who published this thread was not jewish and I would assume that the person who gave them the information is not either.

I am jewish. Seeing these screenshots of “jokes” about the genocide of my people fundamentally hurt me. These screenshots do not show his current beliefs or behaviors. It would be impossible to find these jokes if you hadn’t gone actively searching for them. However I still felt betrayed and panicked, no matter how much I knew that Wilbur has changed. I do not know if I can ever watch his content again and find comfort.

This is the problem with digging into peoples past this way. It is never, and never has been, a selfless act nor a form of activism. It is the very opposite. It is the exploitation of marginalized identities to justify your dislike of someone.

the worst thing about being a Zelda fan is the fandom is so large that you have to figure out what SUBCULTURE you fit into to join discord servers. I’m not that interested in things to do with BotW/AoC/TotK so I have to avoid the large majority of discord servers bc they’re only oriented on those games. I have no interest in roleplay currently so that eliminates the second biggest subculture. I don’t know what Linked Universe even is so uh no luck there. The Zelda fandom subculture I’m most closely aligned with is the Four Swords Manga fandom I guess but do they have servers and would they be interested in things not relating exclusively to Green, Red, Blue, Vio, and Shadow??? Zelda servers are hard man I just wanna talk about my OoT AU 😩

I unfortunately picked up Bravely Default 2 again (I bought it back when it released) and then started over since I last played it in June 2021. And. You know what. I like these silly beans. And then I saw concept art for Dag's expressions and I am not the same. Why did they decide to give him huge fangs in it.
