Ok Folks, if you are not interested or if it’s too long for you well…I will post a short version after this one and since it’s gonna be the longest post I have ever written here I guess I will put all under a cut.

♡ PART 2 of the story because I am too dumb to put all on one post . (Previous part HERE )

Read it or don’t it’s just has to come out of my chest not to combust of happiness with my flaming joyful heart

This time it might interest @lxndonorris and @dilfaz 😉 but mostly thank you for your enthousiasm @rollergoose I hope it was worth the wait.

The match

I realise I didn’t showed you the bag I prepared weeks ago and that I had to deliver. There was chocolate eggs as a reference for his shaved head and because we were in april 🐣/ cinnamon gums that are currently impossible to find except in usa because he always chews at least on one before a match / personalised golf balls to beat DK at his own game / the embroided cap to replace the one from Croatia and ( ! ) Before the match I added a little note and draw his face on it.

So at this point there might be blank spaces that @ledemidouverture and the @thechaoticrugbyfangirl will have to fill because my hands were shaking up so bad after he waved at me that I have lost my glasses in the pit for 10 sec, asked Nora to remake the bow of the bag because I couldn’t do it and was almost having a stroke. To tell you my mental state I was living the dream like I was (almost) a true WAG in real life, like my mom said that private message looked almost like 《a date 》👀

It really felt like he was acknowledging and remembering for later where I was just for after the game and a… “ ‘will come later ok, stay there will ya?”.. In fact when he finally turned to spot who was shouting so loud his name he had SUCH a genuine smile while waving oh hello there👋🙋‍♂️ . I mean… HE KNEW. Or as @thechaoticrugbyfangirl said : He can read.

The weather was so great it wasn’t too hot finally where we were there was a light wind and shadow and we could hear good songs of band like the killers / peter bjorn and john etc…

During warm-up JvP did some box kicks + scrum halves bonding time :D

At one point the players of the team sheet entered the locker rooms but I had the pleasant surprise to see only Matt scott ( hello @mlle-anglo 😌) and JvP on the pitch to do some suicide running drills. Longer on the pitch than expected? Alright for me! Such a treat 🍬 to see for myself those bouncing 🌰🌰

The match started on fire with all those early tries ! We had the pleasure to watch George doing his magic at least twice really close from us during one of the penalties and one conversion.

The first half was flying by in less than 1 second and it was really emotional to see tom youngs on the pitch to lead the team then at the break and at the end with his kiddos. During the break tho : huge sorry to tom youngs but I didn’t clap with the others for the second time because I was busy re-applying make-up to look a bit fresh for the end of the match. And let me tell you I will never put on that lipstick ever again the struggle was real and was way ugglier at the time than when I went out of my accomodation :(

The apprehension and tension was on inside of me at the time but the second half was a bit boring .. The match was pretty early on won by LT and they added few nails into the Bristol’s coffin that is all. The crowd around where we were standing was essentially composed of hardcore fans fed with only beer buckets and anger against the Ref or Callum Sheedy.. The poor Callum that we ripped into pieces unfortunately which was really bad and upsetting to see. Fortunately LHR was there for the poor sod. LHR had also his own struggles with those “fans” since they were counting on the seconds of his every mooves especially for box kicks and or to get the ball out of any ruck it was really stupid since Ben youngs is so slow he takes 3 x the time LHR takes. Anyways… I can’t have control over the bad behaviour of Leicester’s fans but I felt bad about it. All in all they were respectful of the kickers when they had to kick. Damned those Wiese’s fans in my oppinion.

When George went off the match wasn’t really much that captivating anymore, some brillant catch from Freddie and really pumped about his try otherwise I wasn’t that happy to see Wiggy. Poor Freddie Burns wasn’t in the mood either I bet when they called him George Ford ( sorry Freddie…) . A w k w a r d .

The end of the match

Since it was the birthday of JvP’s sister I was almost certain it could have gone another way and he could have been gone already but I kept hopes. The match ended and the players that were there for warm up entered the pitch to thank the other team and for the discourse of Ben and Tom youngs. George hugged Callum and LHR and then LHR hugged Cal while JvP was hugging Freddie Steward.Everyone go hug !

They then had that little tigers family moment picture that George almost escaped from because you know he had done his job and called it a day and was already to do his round to go back home. For real that “tigers family” was a bit of a joke to me at the start ‘cause I thought it was really used just as branding for Leicester Tigers but after that game I really get that feeling. Finally , Welford road is not that big and the distance you have while watching all of them is really disappearing when you are in the stadium. All feel at is place, you can feel complete and you really feel at home.Pure bliss. All is just so natural and easy. At the end of the day they are just people you know , you feel what I mean ? No distances anymore when you are part of the game even as fans. I felt that, like we were as much as important as the players, that we are the salt and spices of that perfect meal. Maybe it was just me putting all of them on a pedestal or something but somes of them have still that aura.

We didn’t recorded all because too much informations and events just happening right in front of our own eyes at the same time and I pressured enough that poor @ledemidouverture to take pictures of JvP . The quality of the camera of her phone is unmatched. The players involved in the warm up all changed clothes and I was so certain he would wears his orange shoes ! A detail but not for me haha.

Like George for example, no one actually asked him for picture, he is not the most comfortable around the team and really looks on duty more than just being here for the pleasure. I am sure if someone asked he would be going for it but much more for the club reputation than to please someone but that is just my gut feeling. No one wanted to disturb him and I didn’t wanted either when I saw him coming. We were in a special delivery mission anyways.

The meeting

The players that were on the team sheet were going for their walk, George leading the way. J was talking a bit to others players while beginning to walk for his run he was looking at the crowd I was really tense and cletching my hands to the bag and we locked eyes. In my head it was playing ☆

It felt like all the planets just felt allignated , he stopped entierely what he was doing and not going for the run with the others a bit like oh yes I have got unfinished business here. He just crossed the pitch perpendicularly on some meters just to go see me. We walked towards each others. He was just like an husband going down the aisle I swear to all of you. It surprised everyone that he was casually interupting the march of the others to go see me.

And I did mooved everyone of the way as I was walking just like I had blinkers on. All felt like even people knew because they did step aside I didn't told them to step away peasants ..but it felt really like they were all doing a backward motion to let me see him I was at the barrier before him and I will NEVER forget his expression, his smile.. his frown nose and smiley eyes who just let appeared all the dimples he was so happy !?. I had never seen that expression on his face and I look at him almost daily 😇. The walk towards me and that expression : I had just win the world. My heart was upside down I guess because all went so quick I just felt complete but wasn't part of this world anymore. He said something like "all for me!?😄"

but the crowd was too loud I couldn't clearly hear him. I DIDN'T ASKED FOR THE HUG. He just instinctively went for it when I gave him the bag he was already going for it. I wasn't gonna tell him no but he didn't asked he just touched me to initiate it and let me tell you: it was so natural that from this moment it felt like my head had always rested in the curve of his shoulder and neck. I didn't registered his body on mine my head was having an overdose of infos but I did registered all the curve of his body that I could touch in this fragment of time.

The fabric of his training vest was slippery soft and warm

That body is thin , I was expecting a lot of meat and not to embrace almost all his back with one arm

All felt so soft , genuine and warm

He doesn't smell I smelled the pitch only

I did registered a lot of back muscle there

We couldn't be in the closest embrace because of that barrier but still the gap was really thin and his body felt reeeeally light I was just gently pressed to it

I really think it was the perfect height difference because he didn't lied down or anything it just felt natural like puzzle pieces really I assure you it's not my imagination.

He was smiling all along while hugging me as well as before and after we met. His cheeks must hurt at the end of a normal day but he deserves the world and I would give anything to make him smile again. His friends are so lucky to have him in their life because he is the cutest softest human being. 90 % of his body is constitued of kindness and generosity.

It went really quick I just over and over replayed it in my head and overanalyzed it for me and for you to engrave it forever in my brain. Anyways he needed to do that run and go see his sister so I just asked for the selfie he said sure sure we went for it I took 3 horrible ones because I can't do selfies but wanted it anyways. While doing this he still had his hand on my shoulder and hair and I didn't even realised that ok? Since I tend to lose my hair and they are long so we have exchanged dna that is a sure thing. I hope they were soft for him and not felt like hay 😭. Even if farmer boy is used to hay. I also hope I didn't do any make up stain on his training vest omg. I was concentrate to do a proper picture or at least ONE. He said another time Thank you and then he left holding the bag really close to him while doing his round and @hold-to-love saw he had the bag when he went to her side of the pitch so she knew as well that I had met "love of my life" .

He didn't stopped for anyone else but me , there was people and children next to me but he didn't really gave a damn he went off pitch with the bag and that was it he had left.

We then took the cutest selfie with @ledemidouverture just to engrave the pure bliss of that moment and I did watched him do his full run. All the atmosphere was charged with heated air , fresh grass scent , earthy aroma and I could felt the plastic of that barrier warmed by the sun.

We did saw Freddie Steward really close to us making selfies with everybody but *sorry Freddie* the mission was complete,better than any dreams of mine and I couldn't add a cherry on top of the cherry. Really I felt that complete. I bounced jumped and shouted and danced and cursed.... and was IN SUCH A STATE when the realisation just hit me of what did just happened??? I was hungry but my soul was even more because in that minute I held all the possibilities I never knew I could ever hoping for so to all of you who have read until here : believe in your dreams and even a bit bigger. They can happen. Reality can overpass them.

Some valuable lessons have been learnt, they might feel like commonplaces but it's a good reminder anyways:

Dreams can come true after all.

Random acts of kindness will come back at you in the most surprising ways so be kind always.

Believe in your luck, the world is a magic place.

Trust people who make you feel like your place in this world is by their sides , people who know that your value lies in what you are not what you are doing or in your look. Being understood / loved and visible because of them but also supported to achieve your lifegoals because they trust you to achieve your aims and believe in you this much. They want you to reach that confidence you lack abd just care of you because you are you. You have a special place and they have a special place in your heart. Friendship and love have no boundaries.

Believe in yourself even if it's hard. You are so much more than that overweight , those zits, that sweaty body. People don't care about that. You can manage. You are not an uggly/stupid/uninteresting person. You are allowed to fail / to fall. All is a lesson for the future. Anxiety can eat you alive so let's center ourselves to what matters the most. People can give you confidence but it's in you and it's on your own that you have to believe that you are valuable.

World isn't that shitty, there is such beauty in little things. Everything is possible and everything can change in a beat.

NEVER listen to people dragging you down or devaluating what matters to you just for the sake of it. They are just empty shells. If it matters to you, you don't always need to justify. People don't have to know your reasons behind loving someone and how deep it means to you. Everyone as the right to find comfort in seeing someone. Be as much as a fan as you want to be and never apologize for it. Frankly, fuck people ruining hopes of others. 🙃

Don't wait on things to happen make them happen if you can. Don't settle for less settle for more.

Online friends are real legit friends and so PRECIOUS.

You are strong you can do it. If things didn't work out you can learn from it. Either by trying again or winning knowledge

Meeting your heroes is EVERYTHING it gave you confidence, trust in people , it gave you beauty / kindness /joy / happiness / sincerity / make you feel loved so much loved. You feel worthy and seen.

Hugs and hot beverages are officially and forever just the best things in the world.

People do care about you. They love you and you should too. FBY

Keep in mind just like the Nadzarki situation/Summary I did, I am doing my best to simplify the information to key points. I might even forget some information, as it's a LOT.

(I do have the Doc links to both situations for others to read on, but let's keep this post an OVERLY UNDERSTATED summary!)

-One, while yes, was at first given the ok to go to remake clockwork, something happened to make clockworks creator change their mind. Out of respect, one would be sad, upset, respect someone's wishes and stop. (like lets not forget clockworks creator has/had to deal with so much harassment for just having their oc shipped with toby. to the point they no longer can work on clockwork as it causes severe anxiety and panic attacks. Something I relate too.)

XxAmLuvsxX HOWEVER, Keeps going on with their remake, even stating they knew they were ripping off clockwork at this point and calling them "Time-lapse" .

-When xXAmLuvsXx went to update Time Lapse, they ended up being called out for stealing clockworks' updated design to remake Time Lapse. To the point where it was obvious that xXAmLuvsXx was purposely going out of their way to steal clockwork over all and "make her better" (rude.) Yet kept most of clockwork's story plots. so like..?

xXAmLuvsXx did admit on livestream to stealing this redesign as well.

-xXAmLuvsXx then lies about a friend dying of cancer to try to get well, sympathy while excusing them using that situation to write in TL's story.

-While we are at it, xXAmLuvsXx decides to also harass clockwork's creator but make this thing.

"Forcing Clockwork to bow." Again at this point, xXAmLuvsXx was actively ignoring Clockwork's creators wishes and was 100% fine with doing something like this to just add salt to the wound. Not the only artwork like this, they made on where clockwork is beating xXAmLuvsXx up and her oc steps in to K**l her. OH and another like this:

(Ok cool, I'm down to make AU ships but this is clearly just shitty behavior) - xXAmLuvsXx Would also harass ANYONE who drew clockwork.

-and WAIT there is MORE: Lets add, stealing another OC! This time a fan's child version of Toby. Yay!

-Toby's creator then, you know, not wanting this person to draw Toby since they were actively harassing their close friend. Of course xXAmLuvsXx doesn't care and won't listen. Ironic because Toby's creator actually reached out to help out xXAmLuvsXx when they were going through personal ab**sse but xXAmLuvsXx couldn't be bothered.

-after getting called out(first time), xXAmLuvsXx tried to play "this drama is too much, cant we be friends?" Including making ship art of clockwork and time lapse. -Moving on, She makes a black oc, who is trans then also called them a d/y/k/e, using many black stereotypes to make this oc, INCLUDING using the HARD R N-word. I remember seeing those, but I don't think anyone had time to grab SS. -Oh and is she done ab*ssing Clockwork? NOPE. Draws her OC getting R**ped by Clockwork. (the picture is also my header tho MEME'd) She then Laughs off people getting rightfully upset over this drawing. -xXAmLuvsXx MADE a hate Instagram account and attacked others OCs HARSHLY!! Just full on hate account. Think 2013 "ranting community" -Clockworks creator isn't the only one harassed, she also harassed another calling her things like "Bimbo" "Bimbopasta" etc Incase at this point you are wonder. "Wow this is shit but where does this end up?" WELP NOW I must get into the harder topics. Again i'm doing my best to summarize and i'm fully need to state that this IS being under explained by me. -xXAmLuvsXx Starts sending P**rn to minors! YEP. Time Lapse and Toby p**n Art, to a minor. ALSO flitting with said minor while at it but "Respecting the fact you aren't into woman" She then sends a picture of a P*rnstar to this same minor. (who for that time is 12 years old and lasted years) -She makes this same (at the time 13 year old) send her money to GO to a concert. of course not for free. It would be a commission, where xXAmLuvsXx instant suggested a NSFW commission. -At some point, xXAmLuvsXx got n*des from another person (not a minor) and threated to leak them if they didn't do what she wanted. (Which was PERSONAL information) -Then xXAmLuvsXx sends more NSFW to minors. (one being a 16 year old, who asked her to stop.) -Back to the 13 year old, xXAmLuvsXx tries to gaslight, and emotionally manipulate them "I thought they where a friend I could trust :( " -xXAmLuvsXx had also a private NSFW insta, that she TAGGED a minor (rping as clockwork) in. ONCE AGAIN, also of R**pe art with NO warnings for those sensitive to said topics. -THen sends stuff to a group chat filled with minors (14-17). Srsly WOMAN you are an ADULT! Find ADULT friends! Though you are an danger to minors and have proven you DON'T care. - MY GOD, This WOMAN! Then starts FAKING (proven) Game ending, and weaponizing S*lf H*rm. (She would use both repeatedly to keep friends under her control) One image she sent of her SH was off of google images. Then TRIES to blame the minor she groomer for her game ending! Or attempted to frame it this way. -This:

This time she also posted pictures with a knife and more threats of Selfdeletion... oh, and threatens to harm friends who try to reach out to help (even after all this shit) -weaponizes her own ab*se, stating "even though im a survivor of ___ and ab___." To try to avoid accountability. -She also started to steal (rather lie) money, and states she would need it for food, but in reality it was for cosplays or concerts! (also once again some of these ppl being minors) There is A LOT MORE! But honestly going through this again to write this all down (AND YET STILL ALOT, im sorry) There is SOOO many things, too much for me to list. I'm already feeling mentally drained thing and revisiting all this. TLDR: xXAmLuvsXx is a narssistic abuser, not ashamed of gr**ming Minors, Threaten, harassing and ab*sing anyone. Does NOT respect boundaries. and will weaponize SelfH*rm, Self deletion and their Ab*se and r*pe to avoid accountability. Is fine using slur like the hard N-word, F-Slur, etc.

#DimsumCinema Guillermo Del Toro's Pinnochio (2022)

From the very first time I saw the poster, I knew that this is going to be another of Guillermo Del Toro's big things. I've been a fan of his since Pacific Rim. I watched Pan's Labyrinth too, but maybe I was too young to clearly remember, LOL.

Surprisingly this movie came out at nearly the same time as Pinocchio remakes with Tom Hanks from Disney. I took my time to watch one first, but I guess it seems a little bit more suit for the kids so decided to stop watching in the middle. Not meant to mention that it is lacking tho. It might be not a good time for me to watch, well you know that kind of mood that pops out of nowhere, right?

Back to this @gdtereal stop-motion movie, I thought it was going to be sooooo dark somehow. This director just knows how to keep some things in their place. The elements of the classic Pinocchio are still there but it was presented in a whole more elegant and relevant.

The resemblance of time, events, and the possibility of how a boy made of pines is alive are pretty much realistic. The decision to cast Ewan McGregor as the narrator for Sebastian J. Cricket can bring the emotion as good as it should. Overall, the cast really fit! Tilda Swinton also nailed it, as she always did. *bow to the queen*

From his previous works I watched, The Shape of Water, its cinematography to the music is really touching even if the story is pretty much a sci-fi image. Like how in the world you can present a feeling about a deaf person being presented with a relationship with a strange underwater creature?

Well, in my theory, the calm and deep sea can describe Eliza's feeling the most. There is something that she would like to pour in the most soothing way for what she's longing for, some affection that makes her content without words. A place that she could go back to make her feel whole.

I love how Guillermo Del Toro presents some intimate feelings about life itself in a really smooth way he could in this kind of classic movie approach. I also have to agree with him that animation itself is a cinema, as he quoted:

"Animation is a medium, not a genre- nor an interest for kids & families only."

This should be a start and a reminder for adults to enjoy getting some deep life thoughts moments while watching animated movies. This made me thinking that I guess it would be great for some animation stories could be more related to our lives.

I should say it is indeed really wrapped with wholehearted touch and beautiful, would totally recommend this to watch, 9/10 from me!

yessss I love She-Ra! They're all actually remakes from old TV shows my parents watched when they were younger, and now Netflix remakes them with amazing graphics!! I also love Voltron (it's actually my favourite), and I was really into it before my anime phase as well xD I hope you're able to watch them sometime! What were you into, before anime?

And oh, love! How was your day? Mine was okay. I woke up really early and studied (and kinda burnt myself out) so I slept for an hour after studying for five. And then I had another meeting, and I watched an episode of money heist xD this may be off topic, but my Leo club is collaborating with three others from different schools and we're doing a project together! It's kinda like a tutor thingy, and there's 8 tutors who'll have 1 and a half hour slots to teach their specific subjects. I'm a tutor too, and my subject's English, so I'm really excited. I hope I'll be able to teach well, so lol, fingers crossed xD

Ahhh I really need to catch up on old fandoms hehe~ before anime i was really into Steven Universe... and video games, like Undertale, FNaF, Sally Face, Fran Bow... all that 2015 stuff xD I also enjoyed watching gameplay videos, because as a broke baby child I couldn't afford a game or a PC. I also liked Camp Camp, hehe

Mine was pretty good!!! Yesterday nothing much happened, I went to eat out and watched some guys dance on the street. It was fun, hehe~

like, helping some random dude name 7th heaven in exchange for the wood thats needed to build aeriths flower wagon, aerith wearing pink after a certain point because she promised zack to wear it every time they saw each other even tho it was ‘silly’ (also buying aeriths bow but that seems null and void in the remake), aeriths ‘just one date’, even tho sephiroth was already on the tipping point zack helped edge him just a little off the deep end asking him about ‘we’re average soldiers but what about u?’ and asking about sephiroths family (altho genesis helped him keep that curiosity), in the remake if u chose ‘how much?’ for the option when aerith offers u the flower for helping her she gets a bit aggressive than going for a measly 2 girl for a real flower (something zack told her, dont just settle for less u need to be more aggressive; assert urself), and even zacks suggestion for selling the flowers in the first place which is how aerith and cloud even met in the first place, and even mentioning kunsel in the remake (someone no one talks about because he doesnt have a face under the mask and hes literally Never mentioned again outside of crisis core) when those infantryman see cloud in the shinra building, hojo recognizing cloud as his runaway specimen (cloud: im an (ex) soldier 1st class, hojo: lol no ur not, cloud: pikachu meme), “ur eyes!!”

im sure theres more because i remember a lot of things connecting to zack but i cant think of them atm rip but this boy has endured a lot of trauma that i didnt rly connect to? it was like a domino effect

first, being pushed a bunch of missions on from sephiroth because he refused to deal w those that had angeal or genesis thus leaving zack to do his dirty work, then slaying ur mentor and close friend by ur hand thus inheriting the buster sword (which starts to conflict his beliefs, soldier honor and dreams, that has been ingrained in him since he joined or was under angeals wing haha get it?), being held out to dry because of the disappearance of lazard thus being attacked by genesis copies when he thought he killed him), which goes back to encountering angeal copies when ur like ??? thought i killed him so hes rly alive?, THEN confronting sephiroth that has convinced himself that he is the true ruler of the planet and getting fucked up in the process, now him and cloud are getting experimented on (i can only imagine what has happened seeing as zack wasnt directly affected by the jenova / s cells that was implanted into him (lots of needles, electricity, and incisions if anything assuming by hojos surgery room in the remake), angeals image appearing his mind and waking him up to save cloud who has a mako addiction and poisoning from the failed experimentation and being in a pod for 4 years, BACK to killing genesis and only to meet ur end after u promised the girl u loved that u would see her again and inheriting ur hopes and dreams on that boy u saved

hes naive, headstrong, impatient, wants to do everything to prove himself, friendly, determined, loyal, emotional af, stubborn, sucks at intaking information, sentimental, and has such a pure soul

after angeals death he practically changed his image to be more ‘mature’ and gave such a heartfelt speech that affected more than just cloud and inspired many ppl to live out their dreams too (luxaerie if ur out there), and the bonds hes formed with ppl ie cissnei and tseng (i dont count reno or rude since he only encounters them when hes on missions w either tseng or ciss), aerith and cloud, and sephiroth too; which they never rly explained why zack joined soldier in the first place (to become a hero sure) but i assume since clouds intentions to join in the first place was because of the war hero sephiroth that zacks was similar considering how genuinely excited he was that he was going to be going on a mission with sephiroth!! whoa!!! only to lose that infatuation over time

might i say that he indirectly met vincent? what a guy, nice to see someone unironically sleep in a coffin thats a nice conversation starter

in the end he went from being a proud member of soldier to an ex-soldier because no one saw zack as that humble and inspiring guy instead to just a runaway failed experiment with implanted jenova / s cells that dont Rly Work rip to cloud but hes different, and wanting to become a mercenary?? King

Random Update Time! 2019/09/12

Hello everyone!

I’m finally on summer break FOR REAL. 100% free time, no classes, no school event preparation, no lines to memorize, and only one part time job. At least for the next week!

So it’s time to do some catching up! Here are just a few highlights from the last (very busy) semester and “summer break” up until now.

Back in March Mabs and I went to MachiAsobi in Tokushima for Golden Week! It was great to see some of our Shikoku friends again and we had a fun weekend! I also debuted my new Bontenmaru cosplay and Mabs and I finally got to cosplay Benmaru and Bontenmaru together! (the photo on the right)

I have a lot of photos from MachiAsobi, as well as progress photos when I was making my Bontenmaru cosplay (I painted like 10 dragons and constructed a giant leek), so I’d like to give MachiAsobi 2019 its own blog post sometime in the near future (hopefully).

This semester was BUSY. One of my school projects was to make a website as a request from an actual company, and working on that project even included going to the store to interview employees and photograph things for the website, as well as writing all of the content for the site myself (in Japanese). That, along with working on an intense group project, and some sites I was making outside of school, kept me really busy!

There were a lot of weekends when Mabs and I were too busy to hang out very much, but here’s a particularly colorful photo from one of the Sundays when we did hang out.

Okay, but speaking of video games I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE REMAKE OF FINAL FANTASY VII!!!!

This game means so much to me and this trailer video makes me tear up every time I watch it. I can’t wait to see all of these characters and the world of FF7 in high definition! And I love Tifa’s new redesign! (the pleated skirt!) A future cosplay plan? I think so.

I don’t have much time to play games these days but FF7R will be coming out in March right during spring break... I also don’t have a PS4 and was wondering where I was going to get the money for one before March, but since I unexpectedly got cast in that drama, I’m thinking I might put part of my acting salary aside for a PS4...

Some pretty hydrangeas from back when it was the rainy season! I didn’t know that multiple colors of hydrangeas could grow on one plant.

Mabs and I haven’t had much time or energy for cosplay this semester (I really miss it!) but back in June we put together some pretty cool casual Basara outfits and did a photoshoot at an event at a big park here in Osaka.

This summer was a good time to be a Basara fan in Osaka; the new Sengoku Basara Battle Party smartphone game got released, and to celebrate they opened a Sengoku Basara cafe here in Osaka for a limited time!

They had lots of fun food and drinks (all non-alcoholic, yayyy) based on the Basara characters. Mabs and I went to the cafe three times, and once to a connected karaoke place that had a different set of Basara food and drinks.

We had a lot of fun and it was nice to meet up with Mabs after school and go to the cafe since we were often so busy on the weekends. These days we’re usually too busy/broke to really enjoy many of the events and things that come with living in a big city, so it was nice to take advantage of that for once too!

Mabs and I had a nice anniversary date this year too!

In July Mabs’ sister came to Japan to visit for about three weeks! Part of that time the two of them went to Korea and I was busy with filming, but we also had some fun days of hanging out! I really enjoyed getting to know Mabs’ sister better, and we had some fun adventures, like going to see the deer and the giant Buddha statue in Nara!

It was our first time to Nara, and I hadn’t expected to see SO MANY deer! They’re everywhere! I’ve been to Miyajima in Hiroshima, which also has deer (and where I had a sort of scary experience with a deer), but the Nara deer are much less likely to try to eat your personal belongings, and are just generally much calmer. (Unless they see that you’re holding the special “shika senbei”, or “deer crackers”, that shops sell to feed to them) They are super cute, and some will bow to you to ask for food, and some will let you pet them.

Back to the topic of filming that drama, I had so much fun! It was definitely a tough schedule (waking up at 4am and shooting until 10pm some days) but I got to see a lot of areas of Osaka that I hadn’t been to before, acting was a fun experience, and the cast and crew were all so nice and I enjoyed hanging out with them! I've been told that it’s okay to post photos, but I’m going to hold off for now. But you’ll probably hear more about it in the future if I can share more with you. (Also that will have my real name attached to it, but I’ve never used my real name on this blog, so I’m trying to figure out how I want to navigate that.)

My classmates and I participated in Yahoo’s “HACK U” hackathon (seriously who picked that name tho) again this year. HACK U is two weeks long, and I was busy with filming for the first week, and we had group projects and school during the second week, so we weren’t able to devote as much time to it as we did last year, but we still came up with a pretty cool project! (augmented reality t-shirts)

It was fun working together with my classmates on this! And honestly the free pizza is one of the best parts of HACK U, lol.

After HACK U, there was one more week of group projects at school (the school group projects were collaborations with the upperclassmen and underclassmen, and had nothing to do with HACK U), and at the end of that week was my school’s exhibition of student works where companies come to look at the sites we made and potentially offer us internships or eventually jobs.

I worked hard to throw together a portfolio site before the exhibition, and I’m glad I did; it got great reviews from the people who looked at it! I showed my portfolio, the website I made for the company, and the LGBT-flag-themed cookie project that Mabs and I made for Pride Month. I got offered an opportunity to tour a company, and then do an internship if I decide that I’m interested (which I am, regardless of whether I think it fits me, internships are a great opportunity to get a better sense of what sort of companies are out there, and what sorts of companies I would or wouldn’t like to work at), so it was another successful exhibition!

Until school starts up again week after next, it’s time to edit some of the cosplay photos that have been piling up on my hard drive, study for the highest level of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (which Mabs and I will be taking in December), draft some more blog posts, spend time with Mabs, watch more of the new Fruits Basket anime (I just started watching it this week and I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much!), and just RELAX.

the con is in like a month and i havent started on at least one if not two or three of the cosplays i wanted to bring and yet here i am, contemplating giving up on them to bring a different one altogehter :/

#i just have to paint my bow for hawkeye and maybe get a tactical belt #and remake my hairbow for isabelle and make the shirt #and we havent done anything on the jacket for faith yet and the pants and shoes havent gotten here yet #but i do have the wig for that one tho thnx arda #i have my wig and hairclips for asuka but we havent remade the dress yet #and i thought we were gonna do stuff tonight but we're not (i guess i could work on my own tho)#blogging loudly #i might uhhhh idk try to save my isabelle wig #i cant do the jacket on my own #and i dont have a base shirt for the isabelle shirt #and i cant do the asuka dress on my own either #and i dont have the paint for the bow UGH NVM I CANT WORK ON ANYTHING

Rumors are Half true

A Fairytale Remake! I made it for a class I have, my friends seem to be pleased with the story so might as well post it!

There was once a rumoured princess with beautiful soft long and lucious hair made from the finest strand of the darkest night. The locals tell that only the bravest, most courageous knight can rescue her, but most of the males in their village back down from this rumoured quest.

Rereading the folktale over and over again, the King’s finest knight pondered and sighed as she softly spoke to herself with a big sigh, "That would be awful for a girl who doesn’t know how to fend for herself all alone in some place weird." she exclaimed whilst shaking her head, her comrade noticing her distress. "Why don’t you try looking for her? I think the king would be pleased to know that his best knight found the impossible quest!" the other knight stated, she was starting to get discouraged. "I don’t know, it sounds a bit delusional and ridiculous to take that task.. but i guess, it doesn’t hurt to try!" as she stood up, "Attaboy! I err mean girl!" the fellow knight patted her shoulder as he disappeared to guard the kingdom.

Our Shining Protagonist proceed to approach the king about her attempt to put an end to the rumour or be able to save the poor girl from her impending doom. There sat in the middle of the throne room was being informed of her arrival and request to have a word with him. "Ah, my dear knight, what is it that I can help you with?" noticing that she was kneeling in front of him as would a servant to a king would, he gently grasped the knight as he uttered, "Stand up, my child. Treat me like a friend and surely I wouldn't want to make you my enemy." his eyes close as he lightly laughed to lighten the mood around the uptight knight.

"Come, Let us go to my garden so we could have a proper chat" the knight reluctantly follows the king, unsure due to her lowly status against the king. The king hums a familiar tune as they walk towards the garden area of the Palace, a medium sized table with expensive silk cloth, gold utensils, and seemingly extravagant food was in the middle of the gazebo. "You must be hungry from all of that training, go ahead and eat for a bit." as if a queue, her stomach gurgled as she hung her head low with the soft cackle of the King's laughter. After quietly nibbling on a pastry, (even tho she's a knight, she was taught manners) while taking sips of her tea, she then became serious."Now my child, what is it?" the king noticed her expression changed after the short break, "My dear King, I would like to take the challenging task of finding the rumoured princess and I would like to ask for your permission to do so." lowering her gaze of the king, she patiently awaited his reply.

The king broke the silence," Ahh yes, the folktale of the princess with long hair. That is quite an ambitious task, my dear knight. I must say if you are able to acquire even just a small info about that rumour then your reputation will increase faster than the speed of light but if you must, then you have my permission." the thought of the king having his best knight be crowded or even attacked if she managed to overcome this impossible feat, frightened him but nonetheless agreed due to his trust in her. "You have my word, your highness." she bowed as the king nodded.

The knight went to her quarters and started to prepare for her journey, she hesitated to look at the scroll given to her from the king. There in the scroll is the rumoured location of where the princess is held captive. Her Journey started at dawn where almost no soul was still awake, without a word she took her mighty steed as they trotted to their destination. She made a quick stop at the tavern that was beside the road she was taking, as she entered, the chattering seized and all eyes were on her. She doesn't blame them, her armour was one of a kind.

A specially made, handcrafted titanium armour embroidered silver and Royal blue trimmings. Whispers then proceeded to cloud the whole place but then a huge shadow then approached her, making her grip the pummel of her sword. "I think you should remove your helmet, knight. It's kinda rude." the guy joked but at the same time was curious like the rest of them of what could the famous King's highest knight would look like.

Our esteemed knight politely chuckled, "Oh Apologies, I must've forgotten to take it off. " as she slowly gripped the bottom of her helm, the folks that were watching from afar, went nearer and nearer. Black locks flow from the helmet as she pulled away, fair skin, a striking pair of almost glowing obsidian eyes, and a polite, shy smile gracing her features. The crowd went wild in surprise to see a pretty knight in their presence, "Sorry, kid. We don't mean any harm, we're just surprised that you're a lady. We thought you were a guy!" the big guy reassuringly pats her back, as he chuckled.

"So what brings you to this side of the woods, knight?" he asked as he took the bar seat next to her, "I've been sent by the king to try and find out more about the rumoured princess but I feel like I will not succeed." the knight hung her head low. "Aww kid, don't worry about it. Yeah, it's a folktale and all but folktales don't appear in thin air. There's usually something that originated it, so don't beat yourself up too much!" he nudged her in a playful way, she chuckled as she took a sip of her water.

"Thanks for the warm welcome, sir.." she trailed off, hinting for his name. "Reginald, but call me Reggie, kiddo." Reggie was motioning for her hand, "Thank you so much, Sir Reggie." she said as she shook his hand in gratitude. "I must go now, that poor princess might be dying for all we know." she turned to pick up her helm, as the tavern people came with her to see her off.

After she and her horse, roach, took a detour to the tavern, they proceeded to gallop to the forest following the map that the king gave to her.
