Darry - It’s giving St. Bernard? Big and wide, sort of rough sometimes without meaning to cause they’re just so big-

Sodapop - He’s a golden retriever if I’ve ever seen one, oh my god. The bouncy energy and the social aspect, he’s such a golden retreiver 

Ponyboy - He’s a beagle okay, mainly because he makes me think of that one boy from Shiloh. He’s a little beagle!

Dallas - Ironic, I know, but he’s a long-haired German Shepard. I don’t make the rules okay?

Newfoundlands and St Bernards I LOVE but they’re very large and a lot of work I don’t see myself having one unfortunately.

Food motivated, it made it really easy to train her. She also loves praise but loves food way more.

Sleepless. She was a trooper but she just did not sleep at all. She kept crying. Then she promptly slept all day while I had to work.

Medium. She is still excitable.

So this was requested by my friend @camp3di3m on my RP blog, so have some David headcanons which I hope you like!

- When Camp is over, David has also works at a Daycare Center, which is why he has tons of patience and energy. 

- Owns several dogs, a Golden Retriever named Shadow, a German Shepard named Bella, two pugs named Sam and Ollie, and a St. Bernard named Snowball. He adopted all of them from the animal shelter. 

- Regularly donates to animal shelters, and volunteers at soup kitchens.

- You think he’s energetic during the summer? You should see David at Christmas since it’s his favorite holiday. He goes absolutely nuts, and decorates his entire house. 

- When he’s flustered he goes to his room, and just lays down trying to rationalize everything.....while also squeezing pillows. 

- Did have a crush on Gwen when she started working there, but has accepted that their just friends so now only sees her as his best friend/sister. 

- Likes to cuddle in his sleep. 

- Sometimes has nightmares about what happened with Jasper, during those nights he wakes up and just tries to think of other things. 

- Was in the foster system, and has been in and out of many homes until he turned eighteen. 

- Does not understand acronyms, such as af, lol, and many more. 

- His hair sticks up naturally, no matter how many times he tries to comb it down or gel it it always perks right back up. 

- After Daniel drank the Koolaid and almost stabbed Dolph, David hit him over the head with his guitar...and then proceeded to call 911

- Wants to be a dad and have kids someday. 

- Bottles up his emotions which isn’t good, it was so bad he got incredibly sick once as a teenager. Which is why, whilst he tries to be happy and positive most of the time..he tries to also let some of his other feelings show up every now and then. 

- Is the favorite over Cameron’s biological kids...mostly because David is the only one who actually likes him. 

- Is friends with the counselors from other camps, and he and Gwen sometimes hang out with them. The other counselors also feel bad for David and Gwen, with the campers they have. 

- Tried drugs once...would not do again.
