honestly, I'm just irritated with my gf and need somewhere to put this so here I go. sometimes she goes out of the country and when this happens there is a 24hr time difference which makes communicating really hard. surprisingly this time wasn't as bad as others have been but ever since the trip we've been out of sync. she often goes through these bouts of depression periods where she sleeps all day and I mean that literally. like she will actually literally be asleep for more than 24hrs. she's going through one of these periods rn and I thought tonight we would finally get to talk and catch up but we only chatted for like 30 min and then she decided not to eat dinner and just go to sleep instead. i don't want to make her feel bad about this bc lord knows that will prob just make her depression worse but also how is this fair to me? shes applying for jobs rn which I think is really contributing to the issue for sure. a few months ago she got fired which was secretly such a blessing bc that job was making her miserable and her boss was a nightmare. for about 4ish months she was doing the depression sleeping SO much and everyday she would tell me how miserable she was which as someone who loves her is really hard to hear. i kept gently nudging her to quit but it never took but she got fired thank god. anyway all this to say is that ever since then she's been sooooooo much better! She's not telling me she wants to off herself all the time and she wasn't sleeping nearly as much. however now that she's getting a full-time job again I fear this is going to happen again. I can already feel the emotional distance, her misery, and how much she's sleeping and skipping meals. i truly can't live this way and that scares me bc I love her so much and can't imagine life without her. and maybe most people would say just talk to her but how am I supposed to have this conversation without making her situation/depression even worse? but then at the same time, what am I just never gonna say anything ever? i don't really know what to do. then there are the everyday issues that are really starting to annoy me such as her being in NY during the winter yet refusing to wear a sweater or turn the heat on despite the fact that she's terribly cold! she hates sweaters for whatever reason and she won't turn the heat on bc of "money". btw she's not in a poor demographic to where she would actually have to worry about this but she grew up poor. i get old habits die hard but it's like stop constantly telling me how miserable you are when the solution is so simple you just refuse to do it!!!!!!!!!!!! i will never understand. now that I've gotten all this out I feel a bit better. i prob just need to chill. i know relationships ebb and flow and things will most likely get back to being okay again and eventually good again. i think im just feeling neglected. like maybe I have needs!!!! maybe I need to feel connected and spend time with my gf when shes not miserable!!! imagine that!!! uhhhg! i feel kinda mean but also valid in what I'm saying. i can love her and be frustrated with her at the same time. im just tired and want to be happy and id like her to be part of that happiness.

hey kids

so after contributing 13 hours of my life to the latest season, i have some opinions, so here they are, even though you didn’t ask for them. quick and dirty and probably poor syntax. (obviously spoiler alert)

highlights

- the biggest highlight of s2 for me is that they developed the background for almost every character that deserved to be humanized. i always thought that most of the characters were redeemable, but in s1 they were so one note, so we couldn’t have much doubt in hannah as narrator. s2 really gives dimensions and layers to the characters whose conscience was always there, just not loud enough, even hannah’s and even more important, they showed that some people are just... plain fucking evil.

- another pretty big highlight was how they handled hannah and the perspective of her suicide. a lot of the criticism about the show was portraying hannah baker as a hero for getting revenge on her aggressors by taking her life and shaming them as theoretical murderers, which i agree with. in s2, they tackle that discussion head on by the dialogues clay has with hannah in his mind. she said that she wasn’t looking for revenge, just to tell her story and her story isn’t the only one that matters. i don’t know if that’s what the ‘real hannah baker’ would’ve said  bc this was a hannah that was created by clay but it felt believable to me and a little bit more empathetic. however, i understand if people still have the view of 13rw being ‘tragedy porn’ and gratuitous/triggering w it’s rape scenes but s2 has tried to make up for a lot of that, no matter what the motivation may be.

- i’m happy they didn’t act like jeff just went away.

- they breezed over race privilege. good on them.

- i think my favorite episode was episode 13 and my favorite scene was when everyone danced around clay and held him up at the dance. i didn’t cry at that, though, it was so touching. i did cry at clay’s eulogy. ugh, beautiful.

weak spots 

ok ok ok, so there’s going to be so much more weaknesses than overall highlights, but i did thoroughly enjoy this season, much more than s1.

- the biggest weak spot for me was... how they dealt with the plots? i guess? like, everything that happened this season, i pretty much was glad about BUT i wanted it to happen for DIFFERENT CHARACTERS? for example, tbh, i never cared for skye. i didn’t like how she judged sheri and she just seemed like a stock character and s2 didn’t change that all that much and i knew that it was leading to a clay x skye relationship but... i really really really didn’t fucking want it to? i wanted sheri to be clay’s gf without the mental illness, and skye could still be that really good friend for him bc sheri x clay had that romantic backdrop already and sheri’s really sweet. 

- speaking of characters, let’s talk about tony and sheri, shall we? tony was clay’s #1, last season. they had this crazy-strong relationship, although it was a bit one-sided, looking at you clay but no one could question the authenticity. but then, this season....we barely see any tony x clay.... if at all???? like, i am very glad that tony got a bf that supports all the he is and all that he wants to become, and i’m happy that he’s happy but, it was just so weird that we didn’t get a lot of clony time. it seems like they’re pretty much replacing tony for justin, which... i mean, ok (except he did try to talk about killing him last season) but tony has always had clay’s back. tony stuck by him, defended him, took care of him when he needed it? and i know they spoke about his probation being the reason he couldn’t help anymore, but... it feels fake bc we all know how padilla gets down for the ones he cares for and it seems like he cares for clay more than anyone. that’s another reason why i loved the finale bc we see glimpses of that again. also, his whole story with beating the bigot up for harassing him and ryan also felt weak. like, the way that boy was stressing, i thought he killed a guy and hannah helped him bury the body. like i understand he didn’t wanna go to juvie but... it truly didn’t feel that deep. like wasn’t a big enough payoff for this major secret that made him give his life to follow hannah’s rules and let a rapist go free. but that’s just me. 

sheri. my fave. arguable, but out of all the subjects on the tapes, sheri had the closest relationship with clay. she always tried to check in on him and she really liked him. but no. he ends up with skye, which like i said, makes sense but... no. now she comes back and she still tries to help clay any way she can but... he still doesn’t trust her??? and he’ll trust zach and justin and even tyler to some degree but not her?????? and she wasn’t at the dance or the funeral????? so i’m wondering if she’ll be back for s3 and i’m just??????????? she basically took on the role of tony for this season, being wise and VERY HELPFUL yoda and truly wanting to get justice for hannah and help clay and justin but she just gets cut short, on redemption and screen time. it’s not fair, especially considering they gave it to courtney, who did nothing, honestly. i mean, it’s great she came out but let’s be real, that was about her. that would’ve had to happen whether she was put on trial or not. OH OH OH AND MARCUS GOT TO TELL HIS SIDE BUT NOT SHERI????? SQUARE THE FUCK UP SELENA GOMEZ

- while i am very glad that they spoke about mental illness, it was with the wrong character. as i have posted before, hannah had a lot of terrible shit happen to her by careless people but for her to take her life, i very much believe she had to have some type of disorder going on but yet again, the show does nothing to show that. laughably, they did a better job with showing skye’s symptoms in two episodes then hannah’s in a full 26 episodes. like what? 

- still no jail for bryce. i know they wanted realism and more shit for another season probs, but dude that really sucks. 

- were we really supposed to believe that clay would kill bryce?

- i could do without the alex/justin/jessica triangle. i mean, isn’t that how we got into this mess?

- the new characters, i really don’t care about. even tony’s nice bf who i don’t remember the name of. see? don’t care.

As Loki finds himself on the New York streets again, his steps feel lighter than he can remember in a long time. Finding the bench he previously occupied a few months prior when he felt the weight of the universe on his shoulders, he takes a moment to sit and take it all in.

His love, the most spectacular woman in the nine realms, he has no doubt, is his. She’s alive, and well, and everything he never knew he needed. “If only mother had been able to meet you,” he says softly as he scrolls through their walls of texts. Ever the affectionate one, she reminded him regularly exactly what he meant to her, something he appreciated more than he could ever begin to explain.

Then their daughter. His daughter. He somehow had something to do with that little wiggling being they saw on the screen. How he’d been given the chance after all he’s done to bring a child into existence, he didn’t know. How two people with some of the worst experiences involving parenting, were now being given this innocent being to care for and do right in a way they weren’t.

As much as he didn’t like to admit it, the Avengers themselves were a part of this new life he was falling in love with. Through Y/N and their coming daughter, he’d been spending more time with the other Avengers, and coming to actually enjoy the presence of his new found family. They’d accepted him in after everything he’d done, even if there were still plenty of comments made. They were still all a bit… much for him at times. But the way they care for Y/N and their child, is worth any of that.

Then Thor. The ever present shadow he felt he was always in. Thor’s brother. Always was just Thor’s brother. Finding out he wasn’t even the shadow role he’d been stuck in had hurt him more than he could ever have expected. Though he still loved Thor as a brother, and the last year in the tower had been good for them. He finally felt he could stand beside Thor as a brother, and not just a shadow.

Which led to the last thing. Acceptance. Discovering himself. Knowing himself and who he is. All of them together had combined to contribute to that. But he awards that mainly to his daughter. Trying to step up and actively be a the man she deserves as a father, that she can be proud of, and that she can depend on.

There was just one last problem. Loki smirks to himself as he scrolls through his phone photos of Y/N and he. Countless selfies she’d taken of them fill up his gallery, with random photos of himself with captions she’d left. “Just one last piece.”

Not quite sure where to begin, he finds himself drifting toward the familiar book store once again. Spotting the worker from his previous visit, he quickly walks over, “Could you direct me to the books on crafting jewelry?”

Collapsing down into the office chair of his newly rented hotel room, Loki sorts through the things he’s bought, books on the history of ring designs, crafting jewelry, midgardian customs, several sketch pads, and some pencils. “This is going to be nearly impossible to hide,” he groans to himself looking around the room.

He sighs and finally sets himself to work flipping through the books, and sketching out bits and pieces he likes as time goes by.

Y/N comes out of their shared room, Loki’s sweatshirt over her and their bed sheets cocooned around her body. Everything ached and she was so damn cold.

Stephen had let her return to the dormitory floors under the promise she’d go straight to bed. Which she did. For a little while.

Walking out to the living room she finds Bucky alone watching movie on the couch.

“Buck,” she whines pulling the covers around herself tighter.

He jumps, having been so entranced in the show and his eyes darting to her, “Y/N! You’re supposed to be in bed! You can’t be up walking around with fresh stitches.”

“Have you seen Loki?” She asks looking out the window, the sky starting to darken. “He left at like 10:30 this morning and he’s still not come back to the room.”

“Haven’t seen him,” Bucky replies finally pausing his movie. “I don’t think he came back yet.”

She frowns and then sighs loudly looking at her friend with pleading eyes, “Bucky, I’m sooooo cold.”

“Then get back in bed,” he responds with a grin.

“It’s not helping,” she whines back at him, trying to make herself look as sad as possible. “This girl is half ice giant Buck, she’s freezing me from the inside out.”

His eyes widen in realization as he pats the seat next to him, “Didn’t think of that Y/N, here come watch the movie with me.”

She quickly crawls onto the couch, and snuggles into her friend’s warmth with a content sigh, “So warm.”

He rolls his eyes and puts an arm around her before starting the movie back up as they sit in comfortable silence.

“Is this really old Zorro?” She mumbles, her mind starting to get fuzzy with sleep.

“Yeah,” he responds rubbing her shoulder. “One of my favorites from back before I enlisted.”

“Hm,” she nods. “So what did you do for fun in the 1940s then beyond Zorro, Grandpa?”

He smirks down, “Oh the usual. Camping, some woodworking occasionally, and taking out the dames to the local dances.”

“Scandalous man you are Bucky,” she chuckles. “And how was Steve with these dames?”

Bucky throws his head back with a laugh, “Oh just the complete and utter ladies man he is to this day Y/N. You know our Steve, the regular heart breaker.”

“Those poor girls, never knew what they were in for,” she clicks her tongue. “Steve the Casanova he is.”

“So how are you feeling?” He asks suddenly.

“A lot warmer,” she replies happily. “You exude manly heat.”

“You exude manly heat.” Loki hears as he enters the kitchen behind the living room. His chest tightening as he hears Y/N’s familiar laugh tangled with one of the male Avenger coming from the next room.

“I aim to please miss.”

He slams the bag of food in his hands on the counter, the bang causing the pair to go silent.

“Bruce don’t Hulk out in the kitchen!” Y/N yells over, followed by more laughter.

Steeling his face, Loki presses on into the living room where he finds Y/N curled up into Bucky, his arm around her. “Wrong Avenger,” he responds with a tense smile. “So what exactly is going on here?”

“Loki!” Y/N yells, her eyes lighting up. “The long lost prince has finally returned.”

Bucky makes a gagging noise as he lifts his arm from around her shoulders, acknowledging the slightly menacing gaze he’s getting from Loki.

“As I said I would,” he responds, his eyes still flickering between her and the other man. “What have you two been up to? And why aren’t you in bed?”

“I was so damn cold,” Y/N states, “That frost giant DNA is freezing me from the inside I swear. I came out here looking for you, but someone has been gone all day. So I’m using Bucky for his warmth and watching his old man movie.”

His eyes widen immediately, “How cold? Is it burning? Are you in pain?”

“No no no,” she says holding a hand up to stop him, “Just feel’s like I’m unprepared for the cold weather I’ve walked out into. Nothing serious.”

Loki nods and continues to look at her, his chest still tight from her words. “I’m sorry I can’t be the one to help with that,” he says stiffly.

“Your sweatshirt helps,” she grins lifting the sheets from around her body.

He forces a small smile, “I’m guessing you won’t be wanting that ice cream then. Luckily I brought some warm food as well if you haven’t eaten. Which you haven’t I’m assuming?”

Her face turns slightly red, “Yeah… I haven’t thought about it.”

He sighs and holds his hands out to help lift her from the couch, “You get in bed, I will bring the food.”

“Sounds good prince charming,” she says with a wink, and stretches up to kiss his cheek.

After Y/N has made it back to their room, Loki’s gaze immediately goes back to Bucky.

“I was comforting my cold pregnant friend, prince charming,” he says turning his movie back on. “Don’t get bent out of shape.”

Loki scowls at him, “I’d appreciate if you wouldn’t curl up romantically with my girlfriend on the couch.”

Bucky smirks back at him rolling his eyes, “Romantically? Someone worried?”

“No!” Loki yells back crossing his arms. “I’d just appreciate you keeping your hands off my girlfriend Buchanan before I have to do something about it.”

Bucky leans back against the couch unfazed, “If you couldn’t tell that was merely friendly comfort and you are that unconfident in your relationship, you have worse things to worry about.”

“I just almost fucking lost her for Odin’s sake,” Loki snaps. “Of course I am fucking worried mortal. I trust her. But I just almost lost her. I… I don’t need to explain this to you.”

The other man’s expression softens as he pulls himself up from the couch, and walking over to him putting a hand on Loki’s shoulder. “You should be more open like that, it makes you a lot more likable. But understand this, she’s a good friend and I was just comforting her. Even if I was interested, she’s very obviously in love. Don’t  strain that with jealousy.” He turns the tv off before leaving to go back to his own room, leaving Loki standing in the middle of the room processing everything.

Finally he moves from his spot to take care of the ice cream and grab the dinner he’d brought them back to their bedroom. Setting the food out on the table in their room, he feels her arms snake around his waist.

“So…” she says softly laying a cheek against his back.

“You probably shouldn’t do that,” he responds with a sigh, trying to shrug out of her embrace. “You’re going to make yourself colder.”

However, she clings onto him tighter, “Worth it.”

The tightening in chest starts to relax at her words, “Really now?”

“I missed you,” she responds, kissing his back. “I’ve been thinking about our little girl.”

“Me too,” he says as he twists in her grip so he’s facing her. “I’m going to have two exquisite girls in my life, I’m a very lucky undeserving man.”

She smiles up at him, “No, you’re a strong, intelligent, sensitive, passionate, and loving man that’s gone through a lot to be the man I wake up next to every morning.”

His eyes start to prickle at her words, all tension leaving his body as he stares into her eyes, “Y/N…”

“So I might not be able to have that ice cream right now,” she states smirking up at him. “But I believe I have one other request owed to me. And I plan on collecting it.”

“Oh Is that right?” He asks, his lips coming near her own, able to feel his cool breath on her face. “Remind me, what is that?”

“I believe, your highness, that you owe me a kiss,” she whispers back.

“I couldn’t refuse you now could I?” He asks before pressing their lips together. The sweet simple kiss growing more passionate as his tongue slips into her mouth. She groans into his mouth, pulling him flush with her own body, her knees starting to go a little weak when he breaks the kiss.

She gasps for air as she stares up at the god in her arms. “Satisfactory darling?”

“Very much so. But I have a question,” she replies.

“Hm?” He responds stroking her back.

“Where have you been all day?”

Uh oh.

i didnt bother with posting about ep 9 of ‘all for one’ but here we are on the last ep lol...

ok but ep 9 was literally just a big karaoke fest / fan meeting so nothing really stood out to me.... 

im starting this note halfway thru the ep after seeing huang zhibo’s line in pinlin’s group’s performance bc he did so well im so proud!!!!!!!! omgosh his stage presence has improved!! mainly this is all i wanted to say bc i actually really like zhibo even tho he didnt get much time to shine throughout this show :c ok even tho they had to color his hair for half his line, for the ending they didnt and just filtered the whole screen (thankfully) bc he really looks so nice here ahhhh 

omg he also got a random closeup later!!

omg i literally rewinded and replayed this one part so many times to watch zhibo.... i really like his dancing!!! 

ok but objectively pinlin’s group killed it, compared with the other 2 groups LOL

but ok i guess i should say something about what’s happened so far.... poor naicha’s group always gets stuck with doing a stage thats like 10x harder than all the other groups.... lol so is anyone actually surprised with the results from the first round?? is anyone gonna explain what happened to half of the members of he yifan’s group? lol.........

i think aj’s group did really well! their song really suited them and did feel very 潮 lol i think huadi KILLED IT and aj’s smile is always a highlight of their stages. i think ill always feel like i wish jojo had a bigger role in their perfs but it is what it is. i really liked their song

for new storm to be performing uniq’s monster feels so weird..... like the entire show is/was basically a whole big yuehua promotional strategy lol 

I CANT LISTEN TO THIS SONG WITHOUT HEARING CHEN TAO’S WENHAN “GWI ZE” IN MY HEAD HAHAHAHAHHAA

ok im sorry hong weizhe but wenhan started the song better LOL ;;; but also i love zongying and hes adorable but i think he messed up on stage and also his stage presence still needs some work.... why does it just look like hes glaring LOL yang bingzhuo is pulling off the short hair well! why is yixuan bald yanxiu singing his heart out!! and haolian’s smile aw haolian is really just a tall baby lol 

tuo xian mu ou.............. im crying........ their performance was so..... thoughtful. goodness even with a performance with minimal choreography, naicha designed every aspect of it with care. he always brings out the best qualities of each member through their performances and that is truly admirable. gao xin starting and ending the song, mu sen’s voice!! and guanguan’s, especially the line they sing together wow, zhang peng is beautiful and i need more of his voice too, zirui singing his heart out, long-ge’s dancing that brings people to tears, chen shun’s rap that cant be replicated, the little montage at the end, and naicha mentioned the formation at long-ge’s center part matching from their first performance and also their star levels matching from their original first grading -- bringing him back to being the only class leader with just 4 stars..... the fact that theyre all crying and hugging and selina and fei are crying im--- ahhhh gao xin and zheng peng’s friendship im truly ahhhhhh 

im sure they knew going into the last round that it would be highly unlikely that they would win... but i think they really showed us that they deserved to. 

ugh this ending song again feels biased toward new storm lol just like alllll the editing lol. i really like yanxiu’s voice! GAO XIN ZHANG PENG FRIENDSHIP AHHH omg yunlong holding a haoyu sign is the cutest thing!!

lol the fact that pinlin is in that new soy milk commercial im laUGHING theres really no doubt that he’ll make it still lol

naicha’s speech at the end was short but he stated facts. they lost the competition but they didnt lose face. tuo xian mu ou had the best stages 

poor aj.... never got to win first place this entire show........ and then he doesnt get to talk at the end?? ?lol

wow new storm won wow much surprise wow i definitely wasnt expecting this at all wow 

i feel like the whole concept of “popular class” is such a cop-out move LOL feels bad for the members of new storm who arent popular and probs arent gonna get treated like winners even tho they won.......... im concerned for yanxiu

i bet none of them actually even wanna be in “popular class” bc it totally ties them down / separates them from their actual classes... this is literally just to satisfy angry pinlin istg 

oh and theyre gonna go from 7 up? am i suddenly watching idol producer??? ooo chen shun!!! recognizing talent! naicha crying for him!!! and the fact that gao xin’s tall body jumped up as soon as she said tuo xian mu ou... awwww and he prob knew it wouldnt be himself but he was so happy for his team members c: gao xin is a giant softie 

at least since new storm had so many popular kids, that leaves a couple of spaces open in “popular class” lol 

lol i almost forgot about wang di oops now that im thinking about the kids who lost... why didnt they invite back the other teams?? like wait what about like yati and boxuan and ziyue -- i thought they liked them?? i mean i get they got eliminated halfway thru the show but still.... i feel like they were memorable / contributed a lot to this show

can we talk about haoyu running over to comfort huadi!!?!? ahhh 

yea about the whole “i dont think they even want to be in popular class”  -- literally i feel like huadi and aj and naicha are crying when they go on stage because they had to leave their original class behind....... 

im crying watching long-ge gesturing for a crying naicha to go on without them....

ok my tears havent even dried yet but im laughing at them trying to make it so suspenseful who got first place......... ITS PINLIN NO ONE IS DOUBTING THAT ITS PINLIN EVERYONE KNOWS ITS PINLIN OK THANKS

wow look at pinlin literally getting 3x the number of votes as yangtong at #2..... wow 

also just looking at yangtong, aj, and huadi’s rankings it makes sense why yoyo class was consistently like second place lol

haoyu and huadi coming out to welcome pinlin first is...... the most......... ahhhhh

and ofc they pan to his class -- aka look at yunlong’s proud smile and zhibo going from happy to sad in like 30 seconds

even so, them pushing her to prioritize education for a bit, to get ahead of the skaters who would prob only be able to do so upon retirement in a good few years’ time, and hanging up her skates until she saw it as.. less than something she needed to abuse herself to feel comfortable with, for as long as they would do so led to her resolve shattering and her applying for universities both in canada and sk ( the sly brat reasoned that it’d be nice to be reconnect with her roots.. for the sake of having something going for her beyond just competing in pyeongchang ! )

which is how, miraculously, she got accepted into uni in seoul ( still figuring out which, rip ). her grades were good, she had a super brief volunteering stint and she’s a rising star ( well, was.. the bitch wouldn’t be competing again anytime soon to keep herself where she was within the skating circuit ) in her favoured sport, she deemed it inevitable sfkljfdgk

the transition wasn’t too hard ofc; she got comfortable with the campus and seoul and was back on the ice in no time, joining the uni’s skating team under her parents’ noses and making the most of it as comeback/olympics prep

she saw herself as poised to be added to the roster once again, now a singles prospect after a major falling out with her longtime partner for one too many dumb bitch moves, and was desperate for it since it’s in pyeongchang, however the stars didn’t align when she just missed obtaining qualification on sk’s roster on a technicality, and nothing could’ve compared to the agony that was missing her chance in something she invested sm practice, time and compliance with the people around her to pull through and get to pyeongchang

When the natgeo channel first had the mars show, I didn’t know. I found out and watched over half way through the season, I think. And couldn’t all those episodes either. Now flicks has it, so I’m watching from the beginning. Note: it is a propaganda project for space ex, but I still like it. Not all of the first episode was plausible. So, what drives me nuts about all the plans from now is that Bob Zubrin had a feasible plan waaaaay back in the day. And really all the plans now have parts from it, but how many acknowledge his/him? Now, that also doesn’t take into account all the people/plans that contributed to his, but still. And I know that he’s actually an asshole, because I worked with people who worked with him, but plenty of white men are, and we still work with/acknowledge them. I wonder about those twins. Did the second one not want to be an astronaut? Did they toss a coin? What? And of course, the leader was a white male from the US (obvi it doesn’t last, but...).

Now this is terrible, but if Jeff B wasn’t so selfish, he could fund a whole mission to Mars himself. And also fix poverty and environmental degradation, and still buy an island or two. But still....

I finally reached out to someone. Yay me. I didn’t do it b/c I wanted to. I’m in that want-to-not-want-to phase of recovery. I did it because I should. Because my anxiety over contacting anyone was/is rising. B/c I don’t want that person to think I contacted them for a reason that, since (in their mind) it didn’t work out the way I wanted, meant I didn’t want to talk to them. Or to say, so they didn’t think I’d talked to them in the first place for a reason that I really did not.

Okay, so I’m actually confused about what I did see or not. I may have seen part of the first and second episodes but not the full of either.

It’s so interesting to learn how important gravity is for humans/life.

You know, it was in 2018 that I learned that millennials are adults now, and there’s a new generation of kids. Too much of media referred to kids and kids-ish as millennials, and I don’t pay attention and so, yeah, I thought millennials were kids until a whole big article whose thesis was DUH. So, I’m still in the process of processing: which generation am I? which generation are things referring to. Still, most times I read about something re: millennials I have to adjust my thinking.

The latest thing with this is the recession back in the day. The additional tag being, I didn’t realize how bad it actually was and that it’s still affecting us to this day. Duh? Sometimes I’m slow, but in my defense - I’ve spent most, if not all of my life poor and/or struggling. So I just thought that outside of those of us who were born lower class, everyone else was doing fine. There’s a point, now that I think about it. The recession didn’t his us lower class folk as hard as other folks. Hmmm.

Anyway, these generational and economic shifts in my paradigm are still things I’m working through. Just, how the funk long is it gonna take me?

Work location2 is a mixed use building, not a university building. And it wasn’t until Thursday night that I learned there are all these public spaces open to us/me, including the building’s gym. And then Friday, I learned that they’ve given all the new people at location2 mugs. So, it was just me that didn’t get a proper orientation to the building (and the people and the job and the....). And only new people at location1 who don’t get the mugs. Ooooh, now that I’ve written this, it occurs to me that I can solve this second one. Yay!

I’m not entirely sure where my day went. I watched some tv. Caught up with some articles I’ve been saying I was gonna get to. I made a to-do list for tomorrow and did a couple of them tonight. I got coffee at the coffee shop, and eventually I went to one of the state/county parks for a walk. There are a lot of these parks out here, and even though I’ve said I wanted to visit them since I found the first one, in my year and a half, I hadn’t. The one I went to was okay. Probs won’t go again, since it didn’t have enough trees for me (I really needed some trees today), and there are a ton of them. Will try to visit all. The nice part is there were few enough people that I could actually sing along to my music for the most part. I did a bad ass (emphases on bad and ass) version of Gladys Knight. I wanted ice cream, but the joint was closed. I was pleased I recalled it though. And i didn’t want BR, so came home. Later, I really really wanted cold water or seltzer or whatever, but didn’t want to go out just for that. Remembered there’s a soda machine in the building, but that didn’t work out - I put in $2 and it wouldn’t let me select anything? I ain’t paying over $2 for a small soda. So went for a drive, and ended up in a store location I hadn’t been in before. Found there’s a dasani blood orange sparkling soda, so since la croy was expensive compared to some recent sales, I decided to try. Doesn’t taste like blood orange to me, but I do like it. But also, I found a culvers. So that was fucking exciting. Not quite soft serve, but will do the trick. I tried a weird combo - chocolate with peanut butter, bananas, and strawberries. Not sure it worked, of if I’d get it again, but it was yummy. However, I don’t think they put in the bananas either. So good though. I also started tracking my food again, and today I apparently ate twice my weekly points, so yeah, I definitely fell off the horse and it left me behind for a few miles. Gotta catch up, and get back on.

Started watching Sinners & Saints. It’s just a straight up soap opera. When seen in that light it’s pretty good. The acting is not always great. The writing is not always great. But it’s good enough all around that I want to know whodunnit, and will stick around. Also, I like that it’s not all black and white characters. All the good guys have some bad, and all the bad guys have some good. Completely no one is one dimensional in that way.

Got sucked into tweeether and whew some of the things. I’m disappointed in my favorite tv dad. Will has turned into Uncle Phil. And racists be racists. Lord, I pray that I have never ever, nor will ever, say that I am ‘blacker than you’ to anyone, not even in jest.

And decided to look up racquetball instead of squash for lessons and found some. There’s even one on Tuesday I could go to, if I get courage.

Clio was a bit extra sweet again today. Not as much as a few of the other days, but still adorable, and much appreciated.

It was a pretty good day. Hope tomorrow is even better. Grateful either way.

So I was driving along the turnpike here in Oklahoma the other day when I noticed a vibration I was pushing 70mph at the most in my 1998 ford ranger when i noticed this. my truck was valued by the claims adjuster at $5800 As the vibration continued I pulled over and slowed down right then I noticed and felt my tire tread from the rear drivers side fly out and do some damage to the bed the tire still had air in it but when i got out to look my tread had flown completely off along with some other truck pieces. The 16-year-old driver was speeding and quickly hit my front right end. I've been doing some research and have been able to find very little information on this topic. My husband and I got married recently and with our combined incomes, my son would no longer qualify for Medicaid (which had previously been his insurance). My husband asked his employer (who carries Aetna) if he could add his stepson and they told him yes, absolutely, they just needed his birth certificate, SS#, and a copy of our marriage certificate. We provided all these documents, and then they told us we needed to cancel his current insurance and provide proof of cancellation before they could cover him - which seemed strange to me, because I've had Medicaid as secondary insurance in the past, but we complied. We provided them with the letter saying that his coverage would be terminated effective June 1st. Hubby asked HR if everything was in place, and they said yes - as of June 1st, when his Medicaid expired, they would pick up coverage. Then yesterday (June 7th), HR approached my husband and told him that an Aetna representative called them and said that they can NOT cover his stepson unless I, the biological mother, am also on the insurance. This was NEVER mentioned to us previously and they knew he was not planning to add me as well - we never provided any of my documentation or information. I called Aetna and they told me that HR at the place of employment are the ones who determine this policy, and HR is telling us that it's the insurance company. So now my son is completely without coverage when they TOLD us that it would begin on the 1st. I have no interest in switching my insurance - I am covered under my parents' policy and it is very good. I am currently pregnant and I know my OB takes my current insurance and they have already preapproved all prenatal care and the birth. How can I convince my dad that leasing a cheap car would be a good decision given my circumstances?

Ok. So I'm about to be 18 and have about $1,400 saved up towards a car, should be getting a few hundred more after graduation and from a few other things, so I expect to have around $2,000 in the summer. This is what I was planning on spending on a down payment on a cheap used car. For the monthly note and insurance, my parents said that they'll help at least some until I get a job. The thing is, it's seriously impossible to get a job in my town. I've been trying for a couple years and just nothing. Most other people I know - not just teenagers - are having the same problem. Because of this, my parents are worried that having to pay for so much and me pay for basically just the down payment would be too much on them. They're struggling very hard financially and haven't bought a car themselves in 13 years. So I was looking at some car websites the other day and noticed that some of them had really appealing lease deals. The ones that most caught my attention were $0 down, and then a monthly payment of around $200 or less per month for three years. What really interested me about that deal is the no down payment, because if there's no down payment and they pay for the monthly note, then that's the only thing they have to pay, at least for quite a while. That leaves me with around $2,000 still in pocket to spend over time on insurance, gas, various maintenance costs, etc., plus if there are too many hidden fees, etc. in the lease. (My dad got me an insurance quote and it was a lot lower than I expected btw, about $560/yr.) That seems so much better than having to start back at $0 after buying the car having paid all the rest on the down payment. I just don't wanna spend that much down because then I'm left with nothing, if I can't get a job then I have no way to pay for everything, again my parents don't think they can pay too much. If they only have to pay the monthly note, then I still have quite a while to get a job and start making money before that couple thousand runs out and if I do eventually get a job (hopefully it'll be easier in another city, but I need a car in order to move), I can even help them with the monthly payments or pay all of them. But all they can say is, Why lease a car when you can buy one, you'll just be stuck in the same spot in three years. But this is completely missing the point. The problem here is that if I spend everything down, then I have nothing left to maintain the car with, and therefore can't have a car at all. I have no steady source of income and can't make a steady source of income without a car. But if I can afford to maintain a car for at least several months with money I already had and can later get a job in a bigger city, I at least have some car, regardless of whether not I own it or it's the best and wisest financial decision in the long run. Once I have a car I can move to a bigger city and hopefully go to college and then get a better job, I'm sure I can get another car later. So basically, if I want a car now (which I need one in order to advance my life and go to college and such) the only possible way is if I lease instead of buy, unless I suddenly come into a bunch of money or can find a car for sale with no down payment. I need to just do whatever I have to do to have a car and get by at the moment, but my parents won't let me. They're so stuck in their stubborn ways that leasing cars is always a waste of money (I agree that it'a a waste of money, but again that's not the point here, the point is that I need a car) when in this situation it would work much better for me. But they refuse to let me.""

Hi, I'm starting a new job in Manchester next month and I'm trying to find the cheapest way to commute. So last week the side gate to my house was left open and my dog got out. She bit one of my neighbors down the street, I'm guessing out of fear (she is a rescue dog). The bite wasn't too serious, but it did break the skin so my neighbor went to urgent care to get bandaged up. We apologized and offered to pay any medical costs upfront, but my neighbor preferred to let our insurance companies handle the claim. My dog hasn't bit anyone in the past, and isn't considered a dangerous breed (labrador, border collie mix). We've let her off leash at the dog beach and dog parks with plenty of other dogs and people running around, and she hasn't shown any type of aggression. What I'm worried about is my insurance company dropping us from their coverage, and us subsequently having trouble finding homeowners insurance in the future. We tried convincing our neighbor to let us settle without getting the insurance companies involved, and explained the situation, but with no luck. I am looking to buy my own car and the insurance is only slightly lower than paying for what I have now! I looked at an 01 Ford Focus and it will cost my $1200 for 6 months! I made merge! And JURY!! I've never been a premerge hoe! So happy that I get to have a say in the final outcome of the game. Hopefully now I can further myself by reconnecting with old pals and making some new ones. Opportunities will hopefully start to flourish as the big guns go after each other. 

Very interesting to hear the tea from Lydia who seems to believe MJ is planting certain seeds about people, even me. Very interesting. I'm cautious of Lydia because now that I'm understanding the dynamics following the last vote on Kabru I think I'm in a better position than her. Only problem is by working with her I'd get her baggage in Wes/Pat. I know I have my tea time huns Steffen/Ruthie and I'm locked in with Jimmy/Jenn and to a lesser extent Kait. I'm scared for my game now. I'm entering quite a negative head frame. People seem to be wrapped around MJ's fingers including several people battling it out to survive which is detrimental to my game. Best case for me if I can't win immunity is for Ruthie or Jakey to win, because they're glued to him, and taking one of them out reduces a number. Worst for me is if I lose and Steffen wins. I need him here if I'm here otherwise I'm screwed. I chatted out my issues with Wes which weren't really anything big but we're of the same opinion of what to do currently. If I get back into the game I'd keep my options open. Jakey is really nice to me but I kind of feel like he's fake? Like there are so many MEs I can take before I get bored. Plus he done the dirty on Matt which was a huge red flag for me. I feel like I'm in a good or pretty shit position. Working with Wes would be difficult considering his relationship with the other people here. I'll hope I win immunity although it's highly unlikely. At least I kept my streak of making jury!

Why does All Stars fuck over the already disadvantaged? Like we all desperately fought to keep our one life premerge and we get thrown to the dogs with two of us GUARANTEED to leave first? Pretty unfair. Possibly understandable for 1 round, because they managed to keep their second life however the second safety is just a piss take. It's like a kick in the teeth feeling that finally merge is going to open up new avenues for you and suddenly you're thrown back into the hunger games arena to fight for your life. I'll also be raging if Jakey wins a double immunity AND gets to vote at this tribal. He gets the best of both worlds? Literally FUCK.ME.UP. This is gonna result in Wes & I leaving, I can see it already. It's just really unfair. Like if the game only had one life I'd be long gone (as would these other people) but it's not, its two. And we're being punished for being on the bottom. It's like laugh at the poor people!!! Look at them they're so cute!! Look at them flop!!!  If I was scraping the bottom of the barrel before I've now found my way into a further dystopia.

So I didn't expect that to happen, I'm crying and laughing and semi freaking out and AHHH.  I had such a blast on this island and I wish I had a speech prepared.  It's funny, it's merge and people are still playing Friendvivor instead of Survivor. Out of everyone in this game to vote me out I wasn't expecting it to be Steffen and Steven. because I just trusted them SO much. 

The ugly part of me just can't wait for one of them to join me next week and the other part of me wants them to make it far because they were two of my biggest allies in this game!  I guess voting Logan out with Jake, MJ and Carson really hurt me last week but I played the game and I'm happy with my game.  I wasn't afraid to make moves or get messy or go against the other people playing and I can't wait for the group of BFF's to make it to the end totally intact, I can tell a lot of feelings will end up being really hurt this season and I'm going to be there with popcorn to watch it happen!  

Going forward I want my boy Jakey to win!  He deserves it, he and I were the underdogs and I really think that he's going to make it far if he just keeps on winning! I'd also love for Carson, Steven or Steffen (Snakefen?) to win though too.  I guess we'll see what happens, it's been a fun but wild ride, that's for sure! <3
