DMC OC WEEK: Day 7

I Talk About An AU I Made Up Literally Last Night (I Had No Other Idea What To Do For Today)

so this one is a spin off! literally based off of a comic dub i rewatched for the first time in years. gave me a brainworm for my fantasy loving heart. its also a spin off of an au that me and my friend had

there are no demons in this au— or at least not the same kind. instead of being a demon, sparda was just this inhuman warmage knight guy kind of. eva was also a witch because I Like That Headcanon and It’s My Au and I Do What I Want

so the boys can still do magic and shit and have magic weapons but it is just a little different. they’re both very good at the fighting/magic weapon thing (as they still have the Rebellion and the Yamato, but of course they’re a little different) but Vergil is more the warmage (i think it fits and could explain some of the attacks he can do, like the summoned swords n shit like that)

this means nothing yet but they can both do alchemy and i like to think thats how they get “upgrades”

nero exists i just dont know where yet and i’ll probably figure it out. considering this would be DMC5 era that means i have to find an excuse for him to either not have an arm, have the devil bringer, or got his arm torn off but now has arm

oh yeah speaking of that — vergil didn’t get trapped in Hell for 20+ years but considering trish is still around ill probably have to figure out how exactly the whole mundus thing worked

i have vague idea but nothing’s set in stone

ANYWAY—

the basic PREMISE is that vergil and dante get trapped in a dungeon thats actually a labyrinth thats actually a temple of some kind. they recognize some of the arcane symbols and other shit on the walls and try to summon the creature the temple is for as an attempt to try and get out of said labyrinth

also i made a comic about it

i forgot i didnt need to make a single canvas for every single panel in the last one. i apologize if my handwriting is difficult to read
