Hello, I did a series of pieces for my drawing class based on/inspired by Greek mythology
[Image ID: A series of six drawings, Icarus, Apollo, Deadalus is a full body rear view illustration of a man standing in a pool of water. The musculature is drawn in and the yupo paper is textured to look like wings and turmeric is used to make a bright golden sunbeam. Mourning Dove shows the still body of Icarus, wings broken on the grassy hillside behind him, a coastal village far away in the distance. The paper is torn open to show Apollo frantically checking on him, he is the only figure left as a frantic sketch. Apollo is drawn on yellow cardstock unlike the rest of the blue-stained paper. Love in Passing at the End of the World is drawn in India ink with a craft knife on torn paper. The figures are two black silhouettes lying against each other holding hands but not looking at each other. Both are wearing masks over their noses and mouths that blend into the hazy fire and embers background drawn in mixed highlighters. Apollo and Artemis are a twin set of drawings featuring Apollo on the left, who sits on a rock, with drapery wrapped around and over him. He's balancing a lyre against one hip and he has prominent top surgery scars and long curly hair spilling over his shoulder. Artemis is standing against a stone column, dressed casually in a light, drapey dress that exposes her left breast and sandals. There is a quiver under her left arm and a bow slung over her chest. Both are on gold and teal metallic mixed acrylic paint. Prometheus is a long thin piece of highly textured red acrylic paint, highlighted with bold black lining and graphite, more of the textured red acrylic pieces come spilling out of the paper.]

Roland Flexner (American, born in France in 1944). I’m not entirely clear on the specifics of Flexner’s process. I know that some of his fluid imagery is achieved by floating pigment on top of water and dipping his paper in. I wanted to show this work in part for his use of a graphite material in some of the works, and also as an example of how small, monochromatic works on paper in series might be framed and installed in a gallery.

HOWL.
“I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving, hysterical naked...” ~Allen Ginsberg
For the Month of Fear 2017 Challenge. (Be very sure you go to the site and see all the amazing submissions; some of the best SFF illustrators in the business today contribute to all the delightful horror.) This was a neo-successful, quasi-frustrating experiment of India Ink on Yupo ‘paper’, white acrylic on the backside and digitally fiddled with. I kinda wanted to howl when I was ready to call it finished...

Done with alcohol inks and a little bit of white and black india ink on yupo paper. The alcohol inks are very fluid, it seem even more so than water-this made them hard to control. Also very staining. Will be nice for some abstract effects. I find you cant get them to move around on normal paper, they sink right into the fibers.

Teslin Market : Reporting And Evaluation Of Recent Industry Developments 2024
Teslin is a high performance material which allows to bond with inks, adhesives, coatings and laminating films. Teslin is polyolefin based and is the leading synthetic paper available in the market. More than half of the volume of Teslin is aerated and makes the material to be microporous in nature. Teslin shows lower dielectric constant and emit less amount of particulates when flexed. Teslin is a good adsorbent and allows inks to set instantly. Teslin helps to create printed representation that is of superior quality and durability. They are available in few millimeter thickness and are extremely strong, reusable, secure and non-toxic. Teslin does not need any special treatment or processing for its disposal. Teslin is mainly used in the synthetic paper industry. Teslin materials are resistant to steam pressing and gamma irradiation. Teslin provides proper cushioning to protect embedded components in electronic labels. Teslin with wide range of thickness are available depending upon the technology by which it is produced.
Teslin market can be segmented on the basis of the substrate which is used as Teslin SP substrate, Teslin TS substrate, Teslin SPID substrate, Teslin Digital substrate, Teslin IJWP substrate and Teslin HD substrate. Teslin products are also segmented on the basis of application as Teslin Security-Grade substrate, Teslin Food –Grade Substrate, Teslin Blue substrate and LUMIT digital paper. The compatible print technologies for the standard Teslin products are segmented as offset technology, flexographic technology, gravure technology, thermal transfer technology and inkjet technology.
