and then he would just hold you

you would probably be exhausted from studying all the time so i could see him encouraging you to sleep

…or forcing you to sleep with a couple melatonins in your water

either way, he would hold you until the morning comes and check in on you to make sure your not too stressed<3

if you ever tease him about how caring he’s being he’ll hate you for a bit though

i couldn’t rlly think of how JD finds out about it so sorry that this is lowkey very bad

it’s not like you knewww you were that obvious about it

not like you’d look over at him from across the cafeteria, blushing when he raises his eyebrow at you

or the way you’d follow after him in the hallways like a puppy, too scared to talk to him

even after you did talk to him and became his friend you could barely hide it

the first time you invited him to your house you were terrified

nervously shaking your leg as he sits on your bed, looking around

“nice set up”

too nervous to respond you’d just blush and nod, sitting on the bed fairly far away

he’d just blabber on for so long about some random nonsense, he may have mentioned something about murder…? whatever, you weren’t paying attention, probably just a movie he watched

at that moment it’s like something clicked in his brain

he looked surprised for a moment, then a small smirk he was trying to hide snuck onto his face

the moment hed realize you like him he would tease you so much, never actually admitting he knows

i could see him dragging out asking you on a date just for his own fun, trying to make you blush and toy around with your emotions

small acts like lingering his hand on yours for too long when being handed something

or sitting a bit too close to you on a bench

the moment he decides to quit the teasing and actually ask you out he’ll do it very casually

he would like the surprised look on your face that he figured out you like him
