EN LAS VEGAS SE CELEBRO XVII CENA DE GALA Y RECONOCEN AL EMBAJADOR LUIS SUÁREZ

El tema de la Gala XVII fue que USA Central American Coalition tuvo el honor de reconocer la labor de Lideres, Empresarios, Diplomáticos, Políticos y Amigos, que han distinguido por su ayuda y trabajo en favor de nuestra comunidad alrededor del mundo.

La Gala fue dedicada a la integración de los países Centroamericanos y a la visión de nuestro Unionista el General Francisco Morazán.

Los maestros de ceremonia; Rosario Grajales y Luis Aceves; los puntos claves fue La Unión de Centroamérica, El sistema financiero centroamericano y nuestra diáspora.

Los invitados especiales fueron Dr. Félix Ulloa - Vicepresidente de la Republica de El Salvador, Milena Mayorga - Embajadora en Washington DC para El Salvador, Lidia Cindy Portal - Viceministra de Relaciones Exteriores de El Salvador y Francisco A. Lima Mena - Secretario General de SIECA.

Fueron reconocidos como tales los cónsules de diferentes partes como el consul generales en Las Vegas, Silvia Martínez Romero; Long Island, New York, Federico Guerrero; Silver Spring, Pedro Rodríguez; New Jersey, Ariel Valle; y en Manhattan, Daniel Erazo; igualmente también fueron reconocidos el Consejal de Las Vegas Isaac E. Baron, Embajador Dr. Luis Suarez - Embajador Cultural de Machupicchu / Embajador Ambiental de Las Islas Galápagos, Dayamy Rodriguez - Directora Ejecutiva / Fundadora de Suarez Museum of Natural Science & History, Geremias Alvarado - Empresario, Guillermo Guerra - Artista, Jose Domínguez- Director de Operaciones de la Central American Coalition USA, Javier y Nick Maldonado - CEO de Toro Taxes entre otros.

El acto también estuvo presidido por el Dr. Felix Ulloa vicepresidente de la República de El Salvador, Milena Mayorga embajadora de El Salvador en Estados Unidos y Aner Iglesias cónsul honorario en Nevada. También participó el presidente del Central American Coalition USA, Eduardo López Rajo; CEO de USA Aliance Financial, Kristi Vanbeek; entre otros invitados especiales.

Durante el evento el Presidente Nayib Bukele mandó un audio dandole un cordia saludo y agradecimiento a todos los presentes en el evento de Las Vegas 2022.

El Embajador Suárez durante su Intervención comenzó dando le las gracias al Dr. Eduardo López Rajo por la honorable cordial invitación y despues se dirigió a agradecerle al Lic. Eduardo Umaña - Consul General de El Salvador por aver confiado en el representándolo y recato el trabajo humanitario que venían asiendo en conjunto en el consulado general de El Salvador en Miami y sobre todo durante la pandemia al igual que agradeció a la Embajadora Milena Mayorga por su atención del recibimiento en El Salvador durante su visita y por supuesto no podía faltar en mencionar el gran trabajo que estaba asiendo el Presidente Nayib Bukele y una vez más invitó a aquellos que no hayan conocido a El Salvador que deberían visitarlo para que se encanten tal como se encantó el con sus Volcanes y sus Pupusas. El Embajador Suárez termino su diálogo exclamando Viva El Salvador, Viva El Salvador y Viva El Salvador.

Embajador Dr. Luis Suárez Cubano / American de Miami fue reconocido con el Premio ’ OCHO PAÍSES Y UNA SOLA VOZ ’ como ’ AMIGO EJEMPLAR DE LOS CENTROAMERICANOS DEl AÑO 2022 ’ Agradeciendo enormemente todo su especial trabajo y amistad en beneficio de nuestros pueblos Centroamericanos y por su liderazgo comunitario en los Estados Unidos de America. A la vez reconocemos el seguimiento de los altos idéales del General Francisco Morazán Quezada, nuestro Unionista del ISTMO Centroamericano. Las Vegas, 4 de Noviembre de 2022.

11. Glorias del C.A. Boca Juniors: con motivo de un nuevo aniversario de la fundacion del club, el domingo 3 de abril de 1994 seprocedio a la apertura oficial del panteon Glorias del Boca Juniors que el club posee en el cementerio del oeste. Alli descansan quienes fueron glorias futbolisticas de la institucion. En aquella ocasion se recibieron los restos de Tesoriere, Angel S. Medici, Tarasconi, Alfredo Garasini y Bleo Pedro Fournol (Calomino).

12. Casa del boxeador: institucion creada para amparar a ex pugiles en dificultades. Su fundador fue Raul Athos Landini (1988), ex boxeador y se encuentra sepultado en el panteon con una placa que lo recuerda como presidente de la asociacion.

Destacados:

-Jose Maria Gatica: (1925-1963) "el mono Gatica". En 2013 lo trasladaron a su ciudad natal.

-Pascual Perez: (1926-1977) se lo conocia como "el leon mendocino" o "el pequeño gigante".

-Justo Antonio Suarez: (1910-1938) apodado sobre el ring como "el torito".

13. Panteon socorros mutuos San Crispin: pertenece al gremio del calzado, se constituyo en 1856 siendo una de las primeras mutuales en crearse en el pais. Este panteon fue inaugurado en 1898. Tienen un segundo panteon subterraneo.

The Galapagos Islands - A List of the hawaiian islands in addition to their Features

Here there is also a list of the key Tours a Islas Galapagos plus some general info on the scale and kinds of species found on each.

1.Baltra (South Seymour) Island - Also referred to as South Seymour, Baltra is often a small flat island at the core of the Galpagos. Baltra Airport is among two airports. 4. Espanola (Hood) Island - Named in honor of Spain plus referred to as Hood, after Viscount Samuel Hood. It's 60 square kms and the oldest and a lot southern the hawaiian islands (approx 3.5 million years). Due to the remote location, the island has a many a unique species of lava lizard, mockingbirds and tortoise.

6. Floreana (Charles or Santa Maria) Island - Named after Juan Jose Flores, the initial President of Ecuador. We have an part of 173 square kms. The primary to get inhabited. Flamingos and green sea turtles nest on the island. The Galapagos petrel, a lot bird, is located here. At Post Office Bay, whalers kept a wood barrel that acted like a tn post office for mail. Iron in the lava makes a distinctive beautiful red colors. White-cheeked pintail ducks reside in a saltwater lagoon. Nine type of finches have already been reported for this island.

14. San Cristobal (Chatham) Island - Named for that patron saint of seafarers, St. Christopher. Chatham was given for William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham. An area of 558 square kms. Maui hosts frigate birds, sea lions, giant tortoises, blue- and red-footed boobies, tropicbirds, marine iguanas, dolphins, and swallow tailed gulls. The islands gets the largest freshwater lake inside the archipelago, Laguna El Junco. The island has got the second airport in the islands and Puerto Baquerizo Moreno around the island is the capital of the province of Galapagos.

15. Santa Cruz (Indefatigable) Island - Named for your Holy Cross in Spanish, its English name arises from the British vessel HMS Indefatigable. Likely to area of 986 square kms. Santa Cruz has the largest population. The Charles Darwin Research Station as well as the headquarters from the Galapagos Park Service can be found here. The Highlands are famous for the lava tunnels. Large tortoise populations are simply here. Black Turtle Cove is surrounded by mangroves, with sea turtles, rays and small sharks.

19. Daphne Major - A small island directly north of Santa Cruz and west of Baltra, this very inaccessible island appears, though unnamed, on Ambrose Cowley's 1684 chart. It is necessary because location of multidecade finch population studies.

20. SouthPlaza Island(Plaza Sur) - Named honoring former president, General Leonidas Plaza of Ecuador.. It has an division of 0.13 square kms. Today those who defend the environment are slaughtered every day. At a time like the one that the planet lives in which the protection of those who defend it is required, the opposite happens. Those who have resisted this destruction by the powerful have not stopped saying NO, they have always done so, although the current administration does not want to have memory.

The murder in the community of Amilcingo, Morelos of Samir Flores, a member of the resistance against the Comprehensive Plan Morelos, its gas pipeline and thermoelectric plants that put the life and territory of Nahua communities in Puebla and Morelos at risk; the massacre of 15 Ikoot indigenous people in San Mateo del Mar, Oaxaca, one of the regions that has opposed the Trans-isthmian Corridor projects; the growing paramilitary violence in Chiapas, with 56 attacks in the municipality of Aldama alone, and the kidnapping in February of members of the National Indigenous Council (CNI) of the municipality of Chenalhó are proof that the war continues.

Now the violence is becoming more and more explicit against the Zapatista communities. The growth of the activity of paramilitary groups such as “Los Chinchulines” or the Regional Organization of Coffee Growers of Ocosingo (ORCAO), as well as the appearance of new groups, is exacerbating tension in the region. The theft and burning of warehouses and houses of the Moisés Ghandi community, of the Autonomous Rebel Zapatista Municipality “Lucio Cabañas”, (in the official municipality of Ocosingo), show the increase in the intensity of the aggressions and provocations against the Zapatista Army of National Liberation. The EZLN has respected the ceasefire for years and has focused on strengthening its autonomous organizational processes with schools, clinics, and justice systems. It is serious that one of the ethical references of resistance and construction of concrete and viable alternatives for the planet continues to be under siege, and it is even more serious that the response of those who seek to “transform Mexico” is complicity or oblivion in the face of these extermination attempts. .

It is extremely worrying that this occurs in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, that there are those who seek to take advantage of the vulnerability in which everyone finds themselves to fuel their ambitions for money and power. It is more worrisome when those who are supposedly in charge of preventing such abuses allow and therefore favor them.

Beyond the erroneous or successful changes of the executive power, which shows this escalation of violence in indigenous areas, and the worsening of paramilitary attacks in the Zapatista territory in Chiapas, is the continuity of the racist, colonial and paternalistic vision of the governments. liberals and conservatives, left and right. Projects such as the Mayan Train show the idea of bringing "development" to indigenous peoples by turning them into cheap labor and contributing only the folkloric image of the Mexican indigenous.

Conozca los postulados a rectores del CNE (+Listado)

Los nombre de los 75 postulados y postuladas a rectores y rectoras del Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) que pasaron la etapa de evaluación realizada por el Comité de Postulaciones Electorales, fueron dados a conocer por el Comité de Postulaciones Electorales de la Asamblea Nacional (AN).

El Comité informó que de las 75 postulaciones que superaron esta etapa, 47 pertenecen a la sociedad civil, 10 a las universidades y 18 al Poder Ciudadano, cumpliendo así con el artículo 26 de la Ley Orgánica del Poder Electoral.

Cabe destacar que este miércoles, el vicepresidente del Comité de Postulaciones Electorales, diputado José Gregorio Correa, precisó que la lista con los nombres de los venezolanos seleccionados como elegibles se podrá impugnar durante 6 días, quienes tendrán ese mismo tiempo para hacer los descargos de las objeciones.

El Consejo Nacional Electoral está integrado por cinco (5) miembros, denominados Rectoras o Rectores Electorales, cuyo periodo de ejercicio en sus funciones es de siete (7) años. Son designadas o designados por la Asamblea Nacional con el voto favorable de las dos terceras partes de sus integrantes y podrán ser reelegidas o reelegidos en sus cargos hasta un máximo de dos (2) periodos adicionales, previa evaluación de su gestión por parte de la Asamblea Nacional.
