Summer Cleaning || Juxie

So the town was a wreck.

In the first few days after prom, Jun had been appalled to even walk through the streets, there was so much forest litter and debris. Bins turned over, rubbish thrown everywhere, leaves and branches and broken glass! Jun had called an emergency meeting of the Swynlake Small Business Coalition and they’d started to get to work, helping Town Hall’s utilities clear the worst. 

While all that was done, there was still plenty of work to be done. Thankfully the Moon Market had been spared-- but From Farm to Table needed a helping hand. 

And so did Vixey-- maybe. There was the whole issue of the break-up, eh? Jun was not an expert in matters of the heart, but he figured he should just check in on her anyway. 

“Well, I suppose this could all be worse,” Jun said as he began to fold some freshly washed merchandise; they’d been displayed at the front and gotten wet, so into the laundry they had gone!

As Olive and Pearl headed down the white and empty corridor, she came upon an elevator. The doors opened on their own, revealing a heavy-set sanitized octoling. Their face looked emotionless until they turned to the two, giving them a small smile.

"Oh, finally! Good to know I'm not alone!" They sighed in relief, "How about you two come on in? It's not exactly the safest out there."

This IMMEDIATELY caused Olive to go on the defensive, her pulling out a set of mysterious looking Dualies that she had grabbed soon after entering what was once Deca Tower, now being called something called the... Spire of Order? Yeah, that was the name.

"Woah woah woah, how do we know we can trust you?" Pearl questioned, the drone she was remotely controlling from an unknown location flying up and right into Dedf1sh's face. "Especially since you look like one of those zombie creeps Eight busted up a few years back!"
