i guess... i like to think i’m good at realistic dialogue? i sure try to make it realistic, anyway, and i generally feel pretty alright about what i manage.

you know, i’m gonna say Xyzzy for this. i don’t know, it’s just very nerdy and booker’s proclamation of love is just so cheesy and sweet. he wrote code for her <3

✅ What's something that appears in your fics over and over and over again, even if you don't mean to? 

i am super repetitive and often notice things i write a lot but now that i’ve been asked i’m having trouble thinking. this is hard. hmm... nile and booker sharing flatbread back and forth with each other is a weirdly specific thing i keep writing. nile appreciating booker’s soft beard and chest, booker rhapsodizing about nile’s big eyes and being grabby over her ass. morning sex. stuff that’s not about sex probably. i will definitely think of more once i hit post on this.

This… is the absolute craziest prompt I’ve ever gotten…. so much to try and wrap my brain around… O_O… sorry if it’s not what you meant but… I did what I could...

1. “I know you’re afraid but we can’t hide in this closet forever.”3. “How exactly did you manage to get stuck in there?”4. “Why is it suddenly purple?”5. “Pass me the sledgehammer.”30. “At this point, what else could possibly go wrong?”24. “Please tell me you know how to defuse a bomb.”

“I know you’re afraid but we can’t hide in this closet forever.” Denki muttered as he grabbed Izuku’s arm and tugged. “We have to go stop them before they destroy the building. The time for observation is over now we need to act!”

Izuku completely agreed. They needed to stop their boyfriends heated argument before it got completely out of hand like it tended to to with them. Right as he was about to tell Denki that he agreed he noticed something. “Do you hear that? A sort of beeping sound?”

“What?”

“Shh.” Izuku put his finger over Denki’s lips and listened carefully. There was definitely a little beeping sound. He dug his phone out of his pocked and turned on the flash so they could see then slowly looked around the closet. He moved aside a pile of old clothes and they both gasped when they saw a digital clock counting down.

“I-is that what I think it is?” Denki gasped.

“We need to get out of here!” Izuku shrieked then tried to push open the closet door. It wouldn’t budge no matter how hard he tried. Denki joined him but they still couldn’t manage to open it. Izuku started to bang on the door as hard as he could as he yelled, “Kacchan!! Can you hear me!!”

“Eijiiiiii!” Denki joined in the screaming as they banged their fists on the door.

“And that’s just the first half of the reasons that you’re a shitty haired idiot. I’ve got a fuckton more coming so prepare yourself.” Katsuki cleared his throat and just as he was about to speak he thought he heard-

“You know what, Blasty? I think-”

“Shut up!” Katsuki growled. He focused on listening to his surroundings and then was positive he heard a faint ‘Kacchan’ followed by a ‘Eiji’. “What the fuck?” Katsuki didn’t have a chance to ask Kiri if he’d heard it too because the redhead had already dashed off in the direction that the voice was coming from. Katsuki took off after him and as they ran the sounds of the voices as well as a banging sound got louder and louder.

They ended up standing outside of a closet with a large piece of debris from the crumbling building blocking it. It was no mistaking it now they definitely knew exactly who was in that closet.

“Deku! What the fuck are you doing here? How exactly did you manage to get stuck in there?”

“I-I don’t know! Please help us out!” 

Katsuki’s chest ached when he heard just how scared Izuku sounded. He frowned then looked at Kiri and grumbled, “We have to move this debris.”

“Sure, pass me the sledgehammer.”

“The fuck are you talking about? There aren’t any goddamn tools lying around!” Katsuki frowned at him when the redhead laughed to himself. They didn’t need to be joking around right now. He shoved past Kiri and put his palm on the debris then called, “Step back from the door, Deku!”

“Kacchan, wai-” He didn’t have the chance to finish before he heard the sound of explosions on the other side of the door. Izuku shook with fear then gasped when the door opened.

Katsuki and Kiri just blinked as their boyfriends ran out of the closet and latched onto them. Denki buried his face in Kiri’s shoulder and muttered something about needing to run away, but Kiri could’t quite understand him.

“Why did’t you just use your quirk to get out?” Katsuki sighed as he pat Izuku’s messy green curls. He didn’t know why he was squeezing him so tightly and trembling like he was.

“I-! I was too scared!” Izuku shrieked into his chest.

“Scared of a fucking closet?” Katsuki asked.

Izuku shook his head. “No! Scared of what’s in the closet! I did’t want to risk setting it off!”

Katsuki grabbed Izuku by the shoulders and pulled him away from himself so he could look him in the eyes as he asked, “What are you talking about, Deku?” 

“Uhh. Blasty?”

Katsuki furrowed his brow then turned towards the redhead. He stood in the closet doorway with Denki behind him as he stared into the room. Katsuki rolled his eyes and spat, “What!”

Kiri’s voice held no hint of laughter for once as he said, “Please tell me you know how to diffuse a bomb.”

“What!” Katsuki grumbled then stomped his way over to the pair. His eyes widened when he saw the clock counting down and he immediately moved so that he was standing with Izuku behind himself. “Shit.”

“Maybe there’s a bright side. I mean, at this point, what else could possibly go wrong?” Kiri attempted to lighten the mood a bit.

There was a loud beeping sound and all four of them jumped. Izuku looked over Katsuki’s shoulder then yelped and hid his face in his back as he asked,   “Why is it suddenly purple?”

Katsuki turned and glared at the redhead as he grunted, “You were saying?”

“Uhh…” Kiri blinked at the device before them and then pursed his lips together. “We should probably run away now. We can call someone else to handle this after we’re at a safe distance.”

“There aren’t any civilians in this abandoned building so it should be OK.” Denki added with a nod as he clung to Kiri for dear life.

Izuku heard Katsuki growl quietly then looked up and asked, “Kacchan? What is it?”

“For once I agree with the idiots. We aren’t properly equipped to deal with this shit. Let’s call someone that is.” Katsuki squeezed Izuku’s hand tightly as he pulled him away from the threatening device. Kiri was right next to him, dragging Denki along. He frowned at the redhead then mumbled, “I blame you for this.”

“What! How! You’re the one that wanted to spar!” Kiri yelled defensively.

“You chose the location!” Katsuki yelled back.

“Yeah, but I had no way of knowing that-”

Izuku and Denki sighed as they listened to the two of them bicker over something so pointless. Hopefully one day they’d manage to go on a double date that didn’t end in such madness.
