#Kakucho and s62 can talk about Izana
Note
I've been seeing this reels or tiktok videos about people who are so disarming face-wise or vibe-wise which causes random strangers to tell them all their secrets or trauma dump to them, so imagine a reader like that who's an executive of one of the toxic gangs in Tokrev like Kanto Manji/Tenjiku/Bonten. You're so disarming that your allies or even enemies end up telling you about your recent breakup or trauma when you didn't even do anything. You're just there like: 😀😀😀???
However, I can see your fellow executives encouraging it because of the useful information. Koko likes the idea of spending less money on informants, the Haitanis love the tea, and if you're in a gang with more ambitious people like Izana and Kisaki they'll weaponize you 💀.
Lmao oh the poor reader who ends up in that situation. They just want to hang out and have a good time but instead they keep learning everyone's darkest secrets...
Tumblr media
The first time you meet Izana is in the orphanage, he's new but is immediately drawn to you. You feel safe to him, different then how the others feel so of course he declares you as his servant right away. You felt a bit offended by that at first but went along with him anyway.
During the day time when the other kids are around, he's strong, a king. But when it's just the two of you he tells you everything. How alone he is, how much he misses his mum and Emma, how scared he is here. You just listen and hug him through it all, telling him it'll be ok.
He introduces Kakucho to you when he arrives, Kakucho who's just been told to forget his parents. That night, after Izana falls asleep, Kakucho breaks his word to Izana. Telling you all about his parents and what happened, about how he agreed to be Izanas servant too and about how he doesn't know what to do anymore. You soothe his fears and tell him that you'll be here for him too, the three of you together.
Over the next few years the three of you grow up together, following Izana. He founds the 8th gen black dragons but keeps the two of you away from it.
You're there for him when he finds out the truth about Shinichiro, you watch as he throws things around, smashing them and yells. Watch as he runs out of energy and ends up crying into your lap and chest. You're not entirely sure what to say in this situation but comfort him the best you can. He ends up falling asleep on you and you sit there, wondering what will happen next.
He threatens you when he wakes up, he does it often. He'll let you see his emotions then threaten you to never tell anyone about it. Though you both know he's bluffing, he couldn't hurt you.
Shinichiro dies and that terrifies you because Izana shuts down. It's the first time he won't talk or let his feelings out. You and Kakucho do your best to care for him but you can see it's not helping, nothing is changing, not until he arrives...
Kisaki is a strange boy. One minute he looks at you with warmth, like you remind him of someone or something else then the next he's glaring at you like he hates you. He refuses to be left alone with you, it's almost like he's afraid of something.
Izana invites you to join tenjiku, he wants you there and says you can be very helpful for him. Of course yoy say yes, you're just happy to see him like his old self again. But...things are different this time. He's back to opening up to you, emotions spilling out before he can stop them but you can tell he's holding something back.
You get to finally meet the others, the S62 members you've heard so much about. Shion immediately takes a shine to you, introducing himself and bragging about his past achievements, asking you if you want to see him fight. Mochi soon shoves him out of the way to introduce himself, he shakes your hand and says he looks forward to working with you. He seems so genuine in his words that you can't help but smile back. The Haitani brother's approach you from either side, slinging their arms around you and "welcoming you".
You think you've got them all figured out until that night and the next day. All four of them end up seeking you out alone and spending some quiet time with you. Telling out their insecurities and ambitions, letting you see more of them. All of them laugh it off after, saying they were just kidding around but you could tell they meant it.
After that you all fall into a comfortable routine of preparing to attack toman. The Haitani brother's want to know the latest gossip, Kakucho tells you about his worries for Izana, Mochi and Shion work with you, helping you get to people who's secrets tenjiku wants and Izana still confides you but without giving you details.
The day you attack toman, you're paired up with Shion. You have a good and bad cop kinda routine, where Shion beats them then you kindly help them back up and take care of their wounds. They spill all kinds of secrets to you while you help them. Everything from the structure of toman, to it's meeting spot, to it's members.
You meet Mucho and Sanzu later, the meeting itself is very formal but once again they seek you out later. Mucho get's onto the subject of Mikey and let's it slip about his guilt of choosing Izana. You're about to try comforting him when he realises what he just says and quickly leaves. Leaving you alone with Sanzu...
"What are you?" You flinch slightly when he speaks, forgetting he was even there. He tilts his head at you, curious as to why Mucho just told you that, why he let his guard down around you. More importantly he wonders if you could be helpful for other people, a way of being able to read what Mikey's thinking and what he wants. He walks away without another word, instead planning.
You meet Koko the next day, he's still hurt from Mucho and no ones even offered him any first aid. You sigh and fix him up yourself, he watches you intensely the whole time before muttering that someone called Inupi normally does this for him. He practically gives you his life story after you ask who that is, even Akane's name slipping out. You're both horrified after, Koko realising what he just said and you after hearing such a sad story. You're not sure what to say next so you tell him about your own childhood. The two of you end up as friends by the end of the day.
You're in your room one day when Kakucho suddenly barges in, frantically talking about a murder and how sorry he is for not telling you sooner. Your blood runs cold as you ask him to explain. "Kisaki and Izana planned what????"
You run to Izana after that, need to talk him, need him to explain. He must be so lost after that so he needs someone to talk to right?
Someone grabs you before you can climb up the stairs to him. Hanma. He has you by the waist, stopping you from interrupting Kisaki and Izana's conversation. Refusing to let you stop Izana from falling further into darkness and ruining Kisaki's plans.
You next see Izana at the docks, getting ready for the fight. He refuses to even look at you, too focused on the fight and Mikey then his own emotions. Instead you stand next to Kakucho, waiting for all this to be over so you can be alone with Izana.
Kakucho tells you to stay on the shipping containers while the fight goes on, you promise to stay and not move.
You nearly break your promise a few times, when you see each of the S62 fall or when Koko starts getting upset but you listen to Kakucho.
It's not until Izana starts losing it and arguing with Kakucho that you hastily climb down, running to him. But you never reach him.
Instead you see Kakucho get shot, you try to run to him, to get in front of him but someone catches your arm. Turning around, you see Sanzu stopping you from getting closer. Time slows down after that, Izana gets shot, the gun falls to the floor, Sanzu let's you go and you fall to your knees beside Izana and Kakucho.
You frantically try to stop the bleeding but Izana grabs your hands instead, holding them. Telling you his emotions for the last time and letting the rest of his secrets slip out. Kakucho reaching out to do the same.
You're not sure how long you kneel there, they both stopped talking already and you know they're both gone, telling yourself that you're imagining the warmth in Kakucho's fingers.
The Haitani brother's help you up but they don't keep you with them, instead guiding you over to Koko and telling the two of you to run.
The next day you wake up at Koko's apartment, where you hear the news. Running to the hospital you practically launch yourself into Kakucho's arms. This time you both tell your secrets, helping each other to cope with the loss of Izana and talking through it together.
When he's released from the hospital, you go to meet him so you can both pay your last respects to Izana. Then you both head to your apartment, looking after each other....at least until a tall man arrives months later looking for both of you.

some general s62 (+kakucho) headcanons for the soul
Tumblr media
➼ Outside of gang matters, Ran is actually really nice to the average person! Most of all, he’s a great listener. He’s that person who holds eye contact, nods along, reacts accordingly to whatever you’re telling him, and always knows what to say. You always feel that he gets you. The things you say affect him. He cares. Since he’s a gang member and people tend to be wary of him, he adjusts his way of speaking and body language to make them feel more comfortable with him.
➼ After discovering his heritage, Izana sought the Filipino community in Tokyo. A group of Filipino moms and titas found him and they would dote on him whenever he would visit. They would feed him, call him handsome, teach him Tagalog, and tell him all about the Philippines. They’ve tried helping him find his mother, but he didn’t really have enough information on her. They wanted to adopt him but Izana was already getting into crime and gang business at the time. He turned down the offer and never returned. They still wonder where he went.
➼ Shion reacts to women the same way as Hakkai. Now, this guy talks big. He brags about getting all these girls to the others (they just don’t believe a word of it). In reality, he’s hopeless. All the stories are exaggerated or just straight-up fake. Sure, he’s got the looks and the bad boy image and some people like that, but he’s about as charming as an unwashed potato. They just end up thinking he’s weird or creepy (and let’s be real, being a delinquent further lowers his chances.) Usually, he ends up saying something embarrassing. Sometimes, he just freezes. So yes, basically, the way Shion Madarame fares in flghting is the same way he fares in the flirting game.
➼ Mochi’s weak for cute things. He might be this big brutish villain in the manga, but please also think of Mochi being the most gentle with kittens, puppies, and babies. Out of S62, he might just be the best with kids. Despite being a big scary delinquent, Moms in his neighborhood would have no problems entrusting their kids to Mochi. He makes them laugh, buys them lollipops, and carries them on his shoulders. Very big bro/dad material. He wouldn’t really tell anyone, but he has entertained the idea of having his own family someday. But with the life he leads, he understands–no, knows that he might not have it at all.
➼ Rindo went through this phase of only consuming the most obscure, unheard of media he could possibly find. (”I’m not like other delinquents”) It was something he took pride in. At age 14/15, he was at that phase in life where he wanted to reject anything mainstream. Probably looked down on people for not having heard of this one arthouse indie film he brought up. He never shared his interests with others either. Tried so hard not to like anything his brother liked as well (for a time, because their tastes grew to be pretty similar). He’s long grown out of it, but Ran would sometimes bring it up to make Rindo cringe.
➼ The “dad” of the gang is definitely Mucho. He’s always the one to remind others not to get too reckless or show off too much. “Less flashy displays, more fighting” (looking at you, Haitani brothers). He looks after everyone’s health too, telling them to eat healthy, drink water, and get enough sleep like a mother would. When the others are dealing with personal struggles, they can also count on him for sound advice. [S62 going to Mucho for advice, arranged from most to least frequent: Kakucho, Mochi, Shion, Ran, Rindou, Izana.] Kakucho and Mochi would ask for advice. Shion would never admit that he needs help but Mucho would know he needs it. Ran and Rindou would go to each other first, but would sometimes go to Mucho too. Izana only ever asked once.
➼ Kakucho is a reader. He used to read whatever he could get his hands on back at the orphanage—usually children’s books and newspapers. As he got older, he found a hobby in collecting secondhand books. He prefers realism over fantasy, though he has a soft spot for fantasy stories with kingdoms, knights and kings. Overall, he’s not very picky about what he reads. A book would have to be outrageously bad for him to drop it. Everyone who knows him well enough is aware of this interest, but something he won’t tell others about is his love for poetry. So you know, just a secret between us—I think he writes some of his own in his free time.

Okay, I finally watched today's episode and... Yeah, I'm an emotional mess right now 😭😭😭
First of all, this ending? That was so freaking unhinged, I know what is going to happen and my face was just 😮
Tumblr media
(and yes, Kisaki, he's going to keep risking his life and he doesn't give a shit bc is not the first time that you point a gun on him. Or that he gets shot. Not even the second time 😭😭)
Also, Chifuyu made me cry (a lot), I was tearing up at the same time that him here!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But, of course, Takemitchy reaction only made everything more emotional!
I love unhinged Takemitchy so much! He had enough and it's completly not afraid because... "What? I'm gonna die? Again? Uuuh" and he comes from Manila, so... Nothing to lose here.
Tumblr media
(Even if I die, Toma will not lose... If I'm still standing, Toman will not lose 😭)
What else? Oh yeah, Sanzu just being there serving looks and being a hater with a small waist, yey!
Tumblr media
(He really is Sanzu "I don't give a shit about anything if Mikey is not here I'm not even gonna talk" Haruchiyo 🤣)
What else? Oh, of course... LIDEN FILMS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING, GOING FOR OUR PAIN LIKE THIS, WHY?
Tumblr media
(I did my math and episode 11 is the one that will break me and Kakucho forever, I'm so not ready 😭)
Tumblr media
(Kakucho autistic blank face over here... Also, the only one with a blank face when Angry started to beat up everyone. I love you, Kakucho!)
Tumblr media
(Seriously, Izana with Karen? This is so not okay! Argehehjrjrjrrkk! And how is this from Kakucho's pov? 🤔)
Also, we had Kakucho being amazing and saving Mucho and Takemitchy (not afraid of danger), being a good sumi servant and promising to Izana that he can punish him later, showing how strong he actually is and shinning during the whole episode in general 💜
And of course, proving that he can't kill Takemichi (not yet at least, he's still not a murderer 😭), what pissed off Izana a little bit, oops xD
Tumblr media
Once again, liden films putting the budged on Izana's eyelashes (not complaining at all). Why does he looks so ethereal and so gorgeous talking about murder? 🥺🥺
Tumblr media
(This eyelashes are going to be my ruin! And I love it the s62 generation moment, all looking at Mucho with hi new uniform, yeeey!)
Yes, I know a lot more things happened. We had the blue oger what gave me so much hype! Ran being so worried for Rindou was actually really cute 💜
But the second half of the episode broke me, so I can't talk about the hype because I'm just in Tenjiku's pain, sorry 😭😭
Anyone else scared and depressed for what is coming? Yeeeey, Tenjiku animated! 🎉🎉🎴🎴😭😭😭

SEASON 3 EPISODE 1 HERE WE GO
/!\ spoilers for anime only /!\
Tumblr media
*look at his heroic/failure story* you really sure hate Kakucho, Mocchi. We truly believe it
(He wants the prestige all for himself it's actual funny lol)
Tumblr media
HERE
HE
IS.
The boi! Has! Made! His! Entrance!
Tumblr media
When it's Angry who says that, I believe him
But also
*casually drop-kick the people you said you only wanted to talk with*
They were so nice taking their time 'talking' with these Tenjiku members while Takemichi and Chifuyu had their own talk thinking they have just discover the truest hypothesis ever
Tumblr media
Rindo complaining about Ran at every occasion he gets and Ran ignoring him.. Their interactions is really peak sibling interactions. Every sibling relations in TR don't feel fake anyway
Tumblr media
He looks so happy to see Takemichi again (just ignore he hasn't noticed Takemichi yet here)
Tumblr media
It gets funnier when you realize the delinquent here are probably around S62 age (18) and Kakucho is. 14/15
And they'll never – NEVER – be higher than him in the hierarchy. No can't do
(The Tenjiku member staring at Kakucho at the end really be judging him; he's thinking 'the audacity', you can tell, it's written all over his face. But he, along the rest, also seems to know his place so that's good)
Tumblr media
Chifuyu I love you and I know you're trying your best but you're really not helping here
[Post about Mikey & Izana scene]
Tumblr media
He
He wasn't planning to just lay there until Takemichi realized
Was he?
Also — look at how happy he is!!! He's so proud of himself, too!!
Tumblr media
That– I— Wrong. Wrong topic to approach, Takemichi.
Since it didn't happen in the manga (from what I remember), I can only theorize why they made that choice but
Anime only already noticed the scar. That's. That's what you notice first. There was really no need to mention it. We get it, it's important
Tumblr media
I love it when they put the budget where it's needed /serious

When do you think Tenjiku was formed? Also how old were the haitani brothers when they were in juvie in your opinion? I thought it was after they killed that gang leader but ran had brown hair in juvie so it must be after that and they seem to already have established themselves in roppongi
Like I’m really curious about what got them in juvie I wish wakui will give us more background about the s62 😭
Hey anon!! Please accept my apologies for answering an ask from 2022 in 2023...... Nonetheless, I hope that the new year has started off splendidly for you!!
Tenjiku's Timeline & Formation
I think Tenjiku started on 3 levels: firstly in the orphanage between Izana and Kakucho when they were kids, though it's a really idealised version and probably something of a fantasy at that point. The second level is when Izana met the S-62 and they probably had a hunch they will all be in a gang together under Izana. Third is when Tenjiku officially formed and began operations.
The second level, which I consider the 'ideation' stage of Tenjiku, was in 2001 when they met in juvie (Chapter 139). That's when the S-62 were 13-14, and Kakucho was 10 (though he probably wasn't really involved then).
The third level, the official launch of Tenjiku, was mentioned to be 'new' relative to year 2006, and based on this interaction between Izana and Kisaki (who was said to have a hand in forming Tenjiku's operations) in Chapter 121...
Tumblr media
...we can tell that Tenjiku had already been formed by 2006 (because of the uniform that Izana was already wearing), but haven't put their plans in full motion yet.
So putting all of these together (along with the Haitanis being seemingly unaffiliated as of the Valhalla arc which was October 2005), I think I can safely say that Tenjiku started as a smaller gang (with only Izana and Kakucho and some of their other guys) in 2005ish (or earlier), but only really started to build itself up in 2006 (after Kisaki's banishment from Toman at the start of January). I'm thinking something along this...
2001: Izana meets the S-62 in juvie, they all have talks about ruling Tokyo as a gang / criminal syndicate.
Before 2006: Izana is released from juvie, he and Kakucho start Tenjiku with their guys.
Early January 2006: Kisaki meets with Izana to scheme and advise how he should operate Tenjiku. Izana sends Kakucho to round up the Haitani Brothers (and presumably Mocchi and Mucho) to join their gang. I think Izana himself got Shion to join because it would've been an easy deal with their BD relationship.
Late January 2006: Tenjiku launches their attacks on Toman
22 February 2006: Kanto Incident (Toman vs Tenjiku). Izana's death and the disbandment of Tenjiku.
Haitani Brothers' Juvie Stint
As mentioned, they probably entered in 2001 (when Ran was 14, and Rindo was 13). I personally think that they entered shortly after their fight with the Max Maniacs (i.e. the Roppongi Incident), because that's a serious crime they committed. The Max Maniac VP ended up in the hospital, which was likely what led to the Haitani Brothers' arrest.
I think Ran's hair is brown in the flashback because it got shaved, so his natural hair colour (which is dark) grew out a little then! They were also already out by 2003, because Mitsuya spotted them out and about in the Azabu Juban Festival (which in real-life, typically occurs in late-August) then. So they didn't spend that much time (around 2 years) in the can.
According to this twitter thread by RanHaruchiyo, which is a summary/translation of an interview with Wakui-sensei, we were supposed to get a lot more Haitani backstory. Basically, Ran was a low-ranking member of the 'Rokusei Community' which was controlled by the Max Maniacs, and Ran stole money from their leaders, which was what sparked the Roppongi Battle of the Ashes which led to the Haitani's rise. (Unfortunately, the original interview is no longer available.... I will try to dig around and find some captures of it to get a better idea of what Wakui said in the inteview!!)

it's my blog i get to be as self-indulgent as i want!!! messy and unorganized talk about ran and kids down below but tldr ran adopts a kid (later on, not during the verse itself) in the final timeline✌️
i read this comic a while back and i keep thinking about it... you know that feeling when you find a piece of art that perfectly aligns with your headcanons about your muse? yeah... yeah........
summary:
while ran watches kakucho take care of the kids at the orphanage, he wonders what's so good about raising children. one kid in particular always likes to ask ran to play with him, which confuses him. ran asks if the kid's gotten used to life in tenjiku (the orphanage). he says yes. he gets to eat every day, and kakucho and izana are kind, but izana can be really scary when he's angry. when the kid first arrived, he said he was an unwanted child, and izana got angry and told him to never say that again the kid says ran is really nice. he's always bringing snacks and games, but ran disagrees. his "kindness" is only out of selfishness. ever since he was little, ran has felt as if there's a "scary monster" inside him, but he didn't hate it. no matter what he did, rindou would always follow him, so ran didn't care about what the monster made him do. ran did whatever he wanted. he thought that maybe one day the monster would go really far... but then he met kakucho and izana. for the first time in his life, he found something that he "longed for". izana and kakucho were unreasonable and extreme, but they were good guys. "when i'm illuminated by that light, i can keep being human. that's why, for my own sake, i'm kind to them." the kid, understandably, doesn't really get it, which ran wasn't really expecting him to. but then he asks ran to squat down and gives him a hug, saying, "when i’m not feeling okay, izana and kakucho do this to me. there, there. it’s okay, it’s gonna be okay." ran thinks to himself that funnily enough, by trying to raise a child, he ended up being raised instead (aka by trying to teach a kid a lesson, the kid ended up teaching him one instead).
that bit about the "monster" is something i've had as a headcanon for ran for the longest time (in less childlike terms anyway lol), because ran is... usually apathetic, doesn't care about anything except himself and rindou. i doubt he cared much about killing that one guy when he was 13. he lives his life in a neutral kind of numbness and needs something to keep him entertained.
i do blame wakui on not properly utilizing the s62 guys and just making them lose to make toman/south look better LOL, but i really don't think he took any of his fights seriously, simply because he couldn't be bothered. he had no stakes in any of them... until kakucho and izana got shot. aside from situations with rindou, that is the only time we see him show genuine emotions as opposed to him just being there acting nonchalant, mocking, or wearing what i call his fake bitch smile.
he says so himself: somehow he came to respect kakucho and izana, which i would say was the very first time he came to care about other people (and listen to what they say), ever. these two singlehandedly pulled ran back down to earth when he's always believed himself above everyone else. if he hadn't met them, he would have stayed completely apathetic to everything that didn't involve rindou. in a way, they do keep him "human", even if it's not by the normal moralistic standards.
this is especially true in the happy ending timeline, where he and rindou settle for a relatively peaceful life being club owners. though they didn't follow izana to work for his non-profit org, i KNOW for a fact that ran visits the orphanage frequently to give tons of gifts to the children there and they love him for it LOL. this, too, isn't because he cares particularly about children, but because he's still looking after izana and kakucho in his own way... also he likes to look good and these orphan kids adoring him makes a good impression for him lmao
.........and i loved this comic in particular, not only because of how well it portrayed my headcanon, but because i'm very fond of tired old men being worn down by a cute optimistic child who they end up directly or indirectly adopting <3 which means i'm half-stealing the comic's kid and making him my oc to incorporate him into my ran's final timeline verse <3 (half-steal bc the kid is just a stock character with no name LOL it's free real estate)
i don't really see ran with kids, but i also don't think it's unlikely. he's very much a family-oriented man, so it can go either way depending on the timeline tbh, but personally i always saw him with a daughter who inherited his diva attitude because of how much he'd spoil her rotten LMAOOOO but i see her existing more in a bonten-like verse tho, so for the happy end, i wanna give him a kid who also "keeps him human."
i'll have to make a whole entirely different post for their relationship and their history later, but for the final timeline, ran is very close to this boy from the tenjiku orphanage whom he ends up adopting years later and naming ren, obviously to match with him and rindou's names because being more "human" doesn't mean he's more "humble" LOLLL

You know what? At this point I hope that instead of a big fight, Takemichi just reveals that he’s a time traveler to everyone and it turns into a big group therapy session. Just everyone standing in a big circle, crying, talking about their childhood trauma.

Tenjiku's disowned s/o gets sassy with ex-family
Tumblr media
Warning: this gets dark real fast, really disgusting trashy behavior.
Some of these scenarios are from Reddit. My brain got fogged and now I must have outside resources to provide the trashy behavior.
This one's short
{Masterlist 1} {masterlist 2}
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Backstory:
You met the S62 generation when you were young. Obviously, your family had some complications with you even being friends with them but you never listen so what was the point anyway?
Over time you get closer and closer to them, first being friends, then close friends and then best friends, and finally, you were dating. Which caused a whole other shit storm to happen in your family bu again you don't listen.
You two were in love but you both knew it was only a matter of time before you'd be forcefully separated. They obviously needed to go back and do the time of their crime but they didn't want to let you go. They needed you, sure you were both young but the feelings they felt for you were strong. Now they weren't fools. They know the possibility of you two staying together is low and you staying with him while he does time is also slow. But he wants to take that chance.
The day was coming closer and closer to his jail time. So before he goes he hands you a promise ring.
Promising that they'd marry you as soon as they get out if you wanted to. If you waited for them.
Of course, you said yes.
The day he left was the hardest but you stayed for your man and never strayed. Waiting for him. Since you weren't family you couldn't visit him. So you'd send letters to him whenever you could. They treasured each and every letter you sent. (not that they'd tell you.)
When they finally get out, They see you there waiting for him at the outside gate.
You waited for him just like you said you would.
When he finally reaches you, you kiss passionately and your bodies struggle to pull apart.
"calm down, baby. Are you trying to get me back in the slammer?"
"Missed you." Your dazed and wanting look sent shivers down his spine. Goddamn, he'd let you do anything to him right there and then if he wasn't in front of his jail! he's down bad for you.
"c'mon baby let's go fulfill that promise."
A whole week later and You and your newly beloved husband finally finished catching up. he ignored any and all interactions during your activities. You decided to go announce your marriage to your husband but it didn't go so well.
"How could you be so trashy!"
"?"
"you can't marry so young, what will the people say about you!"
"what people?"
"And you married a thug of all things, the thug who went to jail!"
"You brought shame to this family!"
"Please tell me you haven't consummated this marriage.
"Remember It’s not your husband’s blood running through your veins .”
“Yeah, but his cum does.”
Izana Kurokawa
I'm sorry but if you think your family was going to live after all that bullshit, you're sorely mistaken.
without a doubt murdered or close to.
Izana takes no one's shit even if they're your family.
Fuck them you don't need them.
You'll just make a new one with him.
You, him, and Kakucho plus your future kids.
Though he finds it hilarious you responded like that, what an interesting way to say he was more important than your old family
as he should be, after all, he is the love of your life and husband.
Kakucho Hitto
Kakucho is fiercely loyal to you and he can stand just about anything but he hates your family.
Kakucho is a family man but he can't stand them.
He blushes, full face blush all the way to his ears and his neck.
"oh yeah, I fucked him good. Kakucho got all into these cuts.so let's say at least he left an impression"'
His soul has left his body
Ran Haitani
"I can't believe you would say something so trashy!"
"I wouldn't be talking if I were you."
"excuse me? I'm only-!"
"bitch you fucked a stranger on a greyhound bus as soon as you got out of jail."
Look that lazy smirk he had has fallen off. He wasn't expecting this kind of turn of events.
"you-!"
"Don't get me started, your the trashiest of them all! You fucked a homeless man and didn't stop till they tased you!"
"y/n, don't go airing out family secrets in front of strangers!"!"
"Everyone in the neighborhood knows this! Ran isn't a stranger, he's my husband and that makes him family."
"You married this thug so young, think about how that looks it trashy!"
"If it's trashy to marry young then I don't know what to call what all of you have done. Talk to me when you all stop being nasty shits. Cause unlike you I own the dick I fuck. And he decided to put a ring on it." you say and flash your ring at them.
yup, that's his wife.
Kanji Mochizuki "Mocchi"
"you fucked someone in a portapotty!"
nope, he's dead. Don't resurrect him, please not until you leave your family's home.
Madarame Shion
"ooh, you want ya talk about trashy! You bit a guy's finger off when he was trying to stop you from getting head at a bar!
"!"
"Don't get me started on when you shitted on the sidewalk because you thought it made you look cool in front of your friends!"
"You know I have a hard time fitting in-"
"That shit, no pun intended. is still fucking disgusting!"
".."
"Leave my Shion alone if you know what's good for you."
you know what Shion fell in love with you even more after that.
Yasuhiro Muto " Mucho"
This big guy will probably take it all and won't complain. After all, he would take on all of Izana's bull so more or less it's the same.
He remained emotionless but on the inside is where the panic was going. But even he wasn't ready for your family secrets. It was like a dumpster fire.
"Talk shit about my husband again and I'll tell all those precious influencer friends of yours how you let a bunch of strange men fingerbang you in front of mom."
whhaaaaat?! Even mucho's face was shell-shocked. He'll never forget this day EVER. Throughout the day you could physically see him trying to process your statements.
Rindo Haitani
"Bitch don't act like you have something over me, you gave someone a blow job at a kid's bop in public with people around."
"a proper lady waits until mari-"
"YOU HAD A THREESOME AT TARGET!!"
Rindo is definitely enjoying this. Way more than he should. Don't worry though he's recording this to show to Ran later and to show you this video every anniversary.
Hajime Kokonoi
"don't talk to me about what's decent or the right thing you pimped your daughter out to 8 guys at a time.''
he's spitting out his drink asap!
"hold on back it up!" he tried to get you to repeat it but you kept spilling tea after tea. Spilling the whole Kettle. Wait he wants to hear the chisme!! Slow down!!!

Three days ago I wanted to write something about the akashi's and how their family problem could be a bit correlated with the sano's and izana's family issues. In addition, I also wanna point out tenjiku × bonten parallel. You’d probably have seen theories about these two already— therefore, you may assume that this post is a way for me to show my absolute agreement. Pardon me for not knowing how to even start an intro so lemme get to the point anyway.
⚠️ TR MANGA SPOILERS BELOW ⚠️
AKASHI × SANO ?
Basically three days ago, senju’s statement in these panels where she was talking about haruchiyo suddenly popped out in my mind. Then, I remembered that there were panels where emma also did the same thing; which is revealing their other big brother’s identity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To make it short, this is just my assumption and I’m not pretty smart to look deeper of what comes next in the tr verse, but I thought that maybe both akashi and sano family is a parallel to each other. Perhaps it’s true that takeomi and haruchiyo could possibly being resentful to each other just like how others speculated, and that it takes us back to a certain chapter where izana was seriously mad because shinichiro lied about him being his blood-related big brother but truth is they never were in the first place. Izana then was consumed by loneliness, developed jealousy towards mikey and even tried to destroy him. However, the actual story behind takeomi and haruchiyo’s relationship remains unknown or unforeseen. It could be the same case with shinchiro and izana but in a different perspective or maybe nothing like it at all. Looking forward to their backstory. Hoping for no plot holes.
Here’s how the family tree goes (I’ll try to make it easier to understand) :
Shinichiro & Mikey > same parents (A & A)
Emma > same father, different mother (A & B)
= Shinichiro, Mikey & Emma >> blood-related.
Izana > different dad, different mom (C & C) + His mother was a filipino and she’s the one who gave birth to him, therefore he’s a mixed child.
Emma’s biological mother married to Izana’s father. He got chased by thugs and died (C & B)
= Izana + Shinichiro, Mikey, Emma >> not blood-related.
And now…
TENJIKU × BONTEN PARALLEL
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see from the panels above, the origin of tenjiku began when izana beaten up the prisoners, recruited the s62 generations as its members. I had a thought, perhaps bonten in the future before takemichi got involved in the same timeline that was possibly leading to its path was created the same "vicious" way if we take a look at mikey's state in the latest chapter leaks. It existed in commorative of izana, with a tattoo of a pattern of his earrings that each members had on a certain sensitive part of their bodies. I actually didn't understand why bonten was created upon him, I mean- what was actually happening in the past 10 years for it to exist? Since we all know that kakucho, who was the closest to izana, joined mikey in bonten, I wonder which one of them approached first and begin to ask/talk about izana? Besides, I also think that bonten was created simply to fulfill both izana and kakucho's wish that they had together at the orphanage. This is merely an assumption. Honestly in my opinion, if only it is true, then I must say that there are many decent ways to make it happen but... yeah idk.
Now that mikey has gone insanely vicious in the recent arc, there's no way bonten won't possibly exists but who knows, right? Before this, there was a speculation that draken probably got involved alone without takemichi to bring mikey back but gave up after seeing how mikey was nowhere near saving, thus why he lied to takemichi in order for him to stay away and never got involved, even mikey asked him to do the same, but knowing how a heart of gold takemichi is, he certainly wouldn't be able to give up on mikey. Of course it is still too early to assume cuz we're just now almost reached to the outcome of the three deities war. Will minami die anyway even after takemichi tried to stop mikey from killing him? Will senju also in a huge risk thus resulting the future vision to come true? Will someone take an action to stop mikey and get hurt so badly instead? By the way, please don't take me seriously. I was just intended to share what I had in mind.
In advance, thank you for reading ☺️✌🏼

There's been something going on in my head lately. This topic is about Shinichiro and I feel disappointed. Because Shinichiro is a man who I see as the ideal older brother and parent, who is really good-hearted and loves his siblings more than anything. This is definitely Shinichiro. He is a really good-hearted man who can be easily trusted. But today, some of the things written in Izana's letter confused me a lot. We had discussions about this issue on Twitter and many things came to my mind. Our topic is this friends;
Shinichiro knew that Izana was brother to Emma, so he went to the Philippines to pick up his brother. He picked up his younger brother and went back to Japan. He gave Izana an incredibly beautiful day on the first day, and in fact, in Izana's words, gave him the best day of his life. He gave her the opportunity to live her beautiful day. Afterwards, she continued to take care of him and spend the day with him. What bothers me is that Shinichiro knew that Emma and Izana were sisters. Why didn't he come and tell Emma this in the first place? Was it such a difficult thing to say that you found your brother? For God's sake, he wasn't just Emma's brother, but theirs too. As soon as he found Izana, why didn't he bring her home and introduce her to Grandpa? Why didn't he take Mikey and Emma to their orphanage visits? Why did he promise Izana an empty family?
so apparently, from the letter we saw in the trailer, we find out that shinichiro actually /knew/ that emma and izana were related and still kept them separate when he could have adopted him...shinichiro, that's so sick and twisted shit is there an adult who didn't do izana wrong? The adoption process is surely hard but at this point he could have simply brought emma to visit him and introduce izana to mikey when he got to see him at the orphanage. Mikey was positive about the idea (as we see in the manga) so why didn't Shinichiro do anything about it?When he talks to mikey asking him his opinion on having another brother , he was already an adult, so why didn't he do anything? It's like he kinda forgot about izana because they're not "related", but at that point, why did he get izana's life in the first place? Because he was Emma's brother? And like this we get to the initial point again: he could have, at least, introduced them all
Well firstly I'm pretty sure Shinichiro didn't pick Izana up from the Philippines at all. Since Izana was in a foster home adoption type place and then juvie in Japan (that's how he met Kakucho at the foster home and then the S62 at juvie). I'm also not sure how a Japanese teenager would've been just allowed to take a kid from the Philippines to Japan like that. Actually Izana doesn't even seem to have known he had family in the Philippines until Karen told him. He thought she was his mum and that he had the same dad as Shinichiro (not clear if he knew the guys name or what he looked like though).
Tumblr media
I agree though, from our perspective it does seem like Shinichiro made a big mistake here with not introducing Izana to the others or at least telling them. However Shinichiro didn't have our perspective. Shinichiro had no idea what was going to happen or what the consequences of doing that would be. I feel like this is one of those things which will divide the fandom, with some ageeeing and some disagreeing (both are totally fine though).
Like I think Shinichiro was right not to rush into things here, taking on the care of another child is a big responsibility and Shinichiro was already practically raising two, not to mention what kind of impact a change in environment could have on Izana's mental health, a kid he had known for a few hours at this point. I don't know a lot about the irl adoption process but I'm pretty sure you have to spend more then a few hours with the kid before deciding anything. I think that's why they then started exchanging letters, as a way for them to get to know each other better and get more comfortable with each other.
Tumblr media
I'm guessing the next part of Shinichiro's plan was to get to know Izana better and get Izana more comfortable with him before introducing him to the others. We know Shinichiro was at least thinking about introducing Izana to them because of the question he asked Mikey.
Tumblr media
But then I'm guessing what stopped him was all the complications. Aka Mikey ripped Sanzu's face open and Izana beat up a bunch of kids and then basically forced one to take his own life. Put them together and they don't get along and you're going to have a big problem on your hands. Like I understand why Shinichiro wanted to move slowly here, this isn't something that should've been rushed. Not to mention the warning signs Izana was already showing towards Mikey by asking Shinichiro to stop talking about him and saying hearing about Mikey gives him a headache.
Tumblr media
I'd say the main mystery here is why he didn't tell Emma/ bring Emma with him to visit. I'm not sure if he didn't wanna get her hopes up or if he wss worried about her or Izana's reaction (though they both seem like they would've been positive), or if he didn't want to make Emma keep the secret from Mikey but didn't want to let Mikey know yet. That is a bit of mystery.
Also to be completely fair to Shinichiro I don't think he ever would've expected things to play out the way they did. He was only a teenager himself when he first met Izana and even as a young adult it's a big responsibility to bring Izana into the house and make sure all his siblings were doing ok. He clearly wanted to unite them all but wanted it done in the correct way. Shinichiro has only been shown to want the best for his siblings so I'm sure he thought he was doing the right thing here. Though obviously this is just my take and we're all going to have different opinions on this.

you have one (1) new message!
Tumblr media
s62 (+ kakucho) texting/messaging HCs
Rindou: The “whats up” guy
Fair emoji use, texting abbreviations, and slang. Can’t care less about proper capitalization or spelling words correctly unless he really wants you to leave him alone. He can be a bit dry as a texter because he prefers to tell you stuff in calls or in person. Usually takes hours or even days to reply unless you’re special to him (you only need to wait minutes if so). Being an extrovert, I think many people messaging him so sometimes your messages might get buried under everyone else’s, and he’s usually too lazy to check everything.
Ran: The “Good morning. How are you?”  guy
He wants to sound formal and intelligent over text, so he’s got complete sentences, good grammar, proper punctuation and capitalization even if you’re close. Rare emoji use, and if he uses one it’s only the basic smiley/sad faces because he’s too lazy to check out the other emojis outside that. Would likezone you on Messenger or send you those sparkly gifs and it doesn’t mean anything! He’s just kind of a boomer. Leaves you on read often but that also doesn’t mean anything because he might have a) fallen asleep, b) started zoning out, c) just forgot to reply.
Shion: The "WHAT" guy
WACKY. Lots of emojis (his favorites are the fire, 100, and devil emojis), abuses Caps Lock, may spam you when excited. Sometimes, you might wake up to 35+ new messages from him, a lot of them different variations of “[NAME] WAKE UP BRO CHECK THIS OUT 🔥🔥🔥” (and it’s just a screenshot of a scammy “Congratulations you won a new iPhone!!” message from a free movie website. He already put his details in.) Reply speed is FAST unless he's in a fight or meeting. Laughs at the memes you send like 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA' because he doesn’t believe in lol or lmao or rofl. He’s quite fun to talk to because his reactions are so enthusiastic and extra.
Izana: The “yes? 🤯” guy
Heavy emoji user. Uses emojis that sometimes mismatch the tone of his message so he can be confusing to talk to. It’s just one of his quirks though. You’ll know immediately if he likes or dislikes you because if he doesn’t like you, he just sends something like “shut the fuck up 😄”. Doesn’t abbreviate too much, but adheres to proper punctuation and types complete sentences. The type of person to respond to you with pictures instead of typing. (Like, if you ask “Where are you?” he sends you a close-up of his face and just above it you can see the sign of the restaurant he’s about to enter). Likes to send memes and reaction pics as well.  Reply speed is quite slow but doesn't exceed a day.
Kakucho: The "hello :)" guy
Refuses to use emojis, prefers to just type out his smileys/sad faces. No caps. Abbreviates a lot of words but still uses proper punctuation because he doesn’t want to sound monotone. His texting is quite informal but still very much polite unless you’re close friends (he’ll be less polite then). He apologizes if he took too long to reply to you, which happens every time because Kaku isn’t on his phone much. If it’s really urgent, you’re better off calling him. If you send him a meme, he might not get it because he’s also not much of an internet person (unless you sent something that’s universally funny, to which he’ll reply “haha :D”).
Mocchi: The "sup" guy
It’s really much better and easier to talk to him in person or just call. This guy’s phone is almost always dead. He plays lots of mobile games and spends so much time on YouTube, then forgets to charge his phone. When he does reply, he sounds so lazy: 1-3 words and little-to-no-effort in continuing the conversation at all. You see abbreviated words and no emojis, punctuations and caps. This is not because he doesn’t like you, but it’s because he prefers to talk to people face-to-face.
Mucho: The plain "Hi" guy
Sounds way too serious in text. He’s not one for perfect grammar and punctuations in text, but you still feel his seriousness. Another slow replyer—barely on his phone because he actually touches grass. He prefers to talk through call, but when you do call, make sure it’s really important or you’d hear a deep sigh on the other end before he says goodbye and hangs up. Would likezone you just like Ran because these two are boomers deep down. Leaves people on read if he thinks the message is not worth replying to.

Hey, what do you think about the new chapter of the Tokyo Revengers? That Kisaki, Hanma ,Izana and the rest of the negative characters suddenly became good and kind?
Oh man.... Chapter 277.... Hooo boy. Warning: incoherent, saltyish rant ahead cuz I'm commuting and these are just off the top of my head.
Well, don't get me wrong. I'm appreciative of the fact that everyone (Kakucho especially) is alive and well but, I just thought it was pretty bad writing...
Firstly, one of the many things that drew me to TokRev is that major characters can die anytime, which I thought was pretty unique for such a straightforward mainstream shonen story, especially one about TEENAGERS in modern 'normal' Tokyo. Draken's death was heartbreaking but well done imo. Even Izana's. So for Wakui to suddenly write all of them off like that makes me wonder... What was the point in those 'deaths' then???
It doesn't make sense to have every single character suddenly become members of the 'good' Toman, when they weren't even good people in the first place. Their goals don't align with Toman's 'code or honour', Kisaki and Hanma especially, even members of Tenjiku. I suppose with Shin alive, Izana can be talked into joining Toman but a huge part of his character was his jealousy of Mikey which happened whether or not Shin died, yknow? Izana, from the start, wanted Shin's full attention and love, and wanted to be the one and only. (I suppose a lot could've happened off screen to change Izana's mind and perspective, but then it's not really Izana, huh?)
And a huge reason why the S62 joined Izana (aside from being beaten into it) was that they were essentially promised a leading position in Japan's underworld alongside him (as part of Tenjiku). Now that they're in Toman, they're probably just a step or two above a regular lackey in Toman. I just don't see how or why Tenjiku, Kisaki and Hanma needed to be part of Toman.
Many other blogs here already brought up other points I've been feeling about the TR ending, especially about the impact of it on their entire characters and personas. I'll reblog ones that made me fist my table in agreement too if you wanna know what else I think of it!
(Speaking about personas... You're telling me that Takemichi was essentially a 26 year old stuck in the body and life of a 7 year old?? That's rough buddy...)
TLDR: I'm happy for the characters, but they're not the ones we know anymore... The manga ended too fast and suddenly, there's too much to explore and too many unanswered questions.

What do you think if takemitchi never went to the past?????
Are we talking about if he never went at all? Like that train killed him in the first chapter and the whole plot never happened????
Tumblr media
Well for starters Hina, Naoto and Takemichi are obviously all dead. Pah still ends up in jail, Draken was stabbed by Kiyomasa and killed, Baji still died during the valhalla fight and Kazutora was killed by Mikey. Because of Draken's death, Kisaki is able to become toman's no2. While Chifuyu ends up leading the first division, though he's probably more focused on his aim of taking Kisaki down. Eventually he gets killed by Kisaki too, Kisaki wouldn't let someone with a big grudge against him live, I think he would've found the right opportunity and disposed of Chifuyu.
After Valhalla, Mikey's dark impulses have probably already mostly taken over, he's already lost most of his closest friends and his impulse control. He only has Mitsuya and Emma left for now.
Yuzuha kills Taiju, Kisaki still goads her into it but this time it's because he's trying to make sure toman stays as the most powerful gang. Hakkai takes the blame for her and becomes the black dragons leader but because Kisaki knows the truth he's forced to work with him and toman to protect Yuzuha.
Tumblr media
Now this is the bit where it gets a bit complicated, Izana is still around and still has a grudge against Mikey. And Kisaki knows this but since Kisaki is already toman's no2 he has no reason to work with Izana. However Emma is still around and she's a problem, since she's too good of an influence towards Mikey. She's basically stopping Mikey from going full dark impulses which is annoying Kisaki, Mikey will be easier to manipulate with her gone.
Kisaki could possibly attempt to kill two birds with one stone here, Emma's too good for Mikey and Izana is too dangerous to let live. So he pretends to work with Izana and convinces him to kill Emma to make Mikey empty. Emma still dies but this time Izana is the one who kills her. Now because Mikey's dark impulses are already accelerated and because he doesn't have the prior knowledge from Takemichi, meaning the investigation with Emma, Draken and Takemichi never took place. He basically doesn't hesitate to kill Izana, it's still a difficult fight but because of his determination he kills Izana without knowing who Izana actually is. Kakucho probably attempts to get in the way to help Izana and probably dies too.
Either that or Kisaki still kills Emma then Izana joins toman and attempts to mould Mikey into Shinichiro like he did in the manila timeline. Though since Kisaki doesn't actually need Izana in this timeline I'm not sure he would actually take the risk.
Anyway toman doesn't retire and the gang stays as number one, getting more and more dangerous. Eventually Pah is released and joins back, I imagine he would be at least a little uncomfortable with how things have turned out but would probably still follow Mikey regardless.
Eventually South turns up and maybe creates his gang??? The S62 are probably already with Mikey and toman, either because they joined with Izana or saw Mikey defeat Izana and decided they didn't want to be against him. So if South has a gang then it's made up of a bunch of randoms. He still loses and dies to Mikey anyway.
Now it gets a bit complicated with brahman since Mikey and toman has a lot more of a dangerous reputation in this timeline. I can imagine Senju still wanting to fight him but I think Wakasa and Benkei probably would've tried to talk her out of it this time. There's actually a chance Waka and Benkei could be in toman anyway, since we're not sure why they joined kantou manji in the current timeline. Takeomi could also potentially be a part of toman in this timeline too.
So basically either Senju attempts to fight Mikey and dies or she's talked out of it and goes on to live her life elsewhere. The other three either join toman or they continue on to have normal civilian lives.
At some point Pah, Peh and Mitsuya are all killed, either by Mikey or by Kisaki. Either way they're not living too long in this timeline.
Tumblr media
After that it's pretty much smooth sailing for Kisaki, he got everything he wanted. I think Mikey likely dies from suicide but at that point it probably won't matter, toman and Kisaki are already no1, Mikey isn't needed anymore. Kisaki already won.
