I generally dislike the Western™ YouTubers whose entire brand is being a Western™ person in Asia and I especially hate that they without exception post "X things I hate about Korea" type content at some point
And the overwhelming majority of the things they apparently "hate about Korea" are just general downsides of living in a megalopolis the size of Seoul that are in neither specific to Korea nor applicable to Korea outside of the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Area.
Like you're just a suburbanite and that's ok...
I once pointed this out to someone in the comments and she was all "I'm from SEATTLE it is a CITY" like ma'am Seoul proper has more residents than the entirety of Washington state...
NO ONE from the West™ except NYC can fathom a city like Seoul (as in more than 15000/sqkm in population density and over 8 million in total population) and I've spent enough time in NYC to know that these "Korean Problems" exist in NYC as well.

The price of neon is gradually returning to normal - chip manufacturers have found a replacement for gas from Russia and Ukraine.
The price of neon gas, which is actively used in the production of semiconductors, began to decline significantly. According to the South Korean portal Korea Posts, the gas used to operate lasers used in the semiconductor industry at its peak has risen in price by up to 19 times last year, but now manufacturers have reasons for cautious optimism.
Last year, there were problems with the supply of neon from Ukraine and Russia, which were the largest suppliers of this gas. From the end of February, consumers began to buy neon in bulk, sending it to warehouses, which only contributed to a further rise in prices… Detail: https://bitcoingrandee.com/posts/127 NEWS

KPC3448: The 100th Anniversary of the Victory at the Battle of Bongodon
KPC3448: The 100th Anniversary of the Victory at the Battle of Bongodon

FANTASMA VIRGEM (CHEONYEO GWISHIN –
Longos cabelos pretos e vestidos brancos parecem familiares?

When I see Korean people try to explain Han (한, 恨) to foreigns in a way that's like "It's a VERY SPECIFIC sentiment that ONLY exists in Korea blah blah blah..." I'm like ok you're doing too much but when native anglophones reply to that like "the concept of sorrow exists in every culture" I'm also mad
Yes they are equivalent in dictionary definitions, but language is cultural and highly contextual. A word in a colonizer language is not going to have the same sentimental connotation as a word in a language of the people who've been colonized and divided even if they're "equivalent" by definition. It's just not.
