over the course of Sen's main story part 2, i had trouble to relate with the MC, and by the end, i think i finally understand why she did what she did. she's simply a wounded child.

and as always the relationship between them is funny in a style romance md is:

but Sen definitely is the star of the show! he's so patient, kind, and doing in everything in his power just so MC can be as the happiest she can be (albeit it backfired a bit), a total contrast of how he was in main story 1. he's gotten a massive character development.

Voltage Chara Cafe Chibis 2024

Voltage once again claimed my heart by announcing the new merch for their upcoming character cafe. Weak as i am for chibis they just had to release animal hoodie acrylics of some of our best boys.

Kasumi tries to wriggle himself into my heart more and more by now also dressing up as a red panda! It almost feels like Kurosawa stole the penguin hoodie of him :D

Of course Tsugaru just had to have something bunny themed in the picture. Nomura has to watch out not to end up in Tsugaru's bunny merch collection at this point.

Kaga and Ishigami have their signature food and just had to have matching poses. Coincidence? xD

I wonder what the animals say about our characters. They are all so very adorable! It's difficult to decide!

I like how Voltage Inc makes MCs canonically pretty, like the scene where Kuranosuke says that MC is more on the pretty side. And something similar happens in Toshiaki's POV too. From what I remember, even Ayumu admits that MC is pretty or something like this. Sen is crazy after MC's legs. Kasumi tries to convince MC that she is also on the pretty side, not only him. Nearly in every story they say that MC is beautiful or something.

But, at the same time, it makes me so sad. Don't get me wrong, I don't remember seeing ugly girls. I like how girls look and everything, and I know that beauty comes from within. However, I have never been confident in my looks. So, every time it's mentioned that MC is pretty, I'm like: "Yeah, and that's the reason I will never meet someone who truly loves me. Because girls are pretty, but I'm not."

In high school, I couldn't even look in the mirror because I was crying every time due to how ugly I saw myself. Even now, every single time I think that it's not a bad idea to talk with a guy, I lose all my confidence because they don't have a reason to talk with me when there are prettier girls around. My ex cheated on me with my best friend who was objectively more beautiful than me.

And, this is probably one of the angst tropes I adore, even if it's not canonically angst. The one where MC is pretty, because I'm not and it hurts.
