Personality: 

Suzette has spent most of her life in her own head, she didn’t have many opportunities to make real friends as those closest to her tried to spare other children from her. If she wasn’t interacting with help paid to keep her happy her mother was unsuccessfully attempting to pick away at her self esteem, filling her with more and more rage, but also ample opportunity to learn how to get under someone skin. 

She was eventually able to figure out what kind of person people reacted to well and what role in the world she felt most comfortable filling, this being what kept her violent streak from childhood at bay when necessary. These days she hides her cruelest and most conniving ideas behind a smiling exterior, only acting on them for the “best interest of her family”, that being what she personally feels best suits her vision for the perfection she’s striving for, doing her best work at the right hand of someone more intimidating than herself. 

Suzy gained more emotional intelligence as she grew despite the difficulties she found in genuinely connecting with others but her spoiled and sheltered lifestyle left her lacking in common sense, naive. Her devious plotting is less built around thorough planning and more instinct, trial and error. She finds childlike joy in things like clowns but this has an undercurrent of sadism as, above all, she gets her most childlike wonder out of making others uncomfortable. She’s learned there’s less of a chance to be caught in the act if the people around you are paranoid and unfocused, whether this be by poking fun at primal fears or isolating them via a maze of social etiquette. 

She is genuinely an excitable person, not feeling or expressing much else at all. Many would describe her as robotic, like a stepford wife. Matronly in the sense that she can balance a feminine dignity with a charm that lures people in. Even though it can be hard and very much not worth it at times her desire for companionship remains constant, though her definition of said concept is foggy. As a result, she's incredibly cooperative and eager to please under the right circumstances. One of the only things she loves more than blood on her hands is being a delightful hostess! Otherwise she makes it clear that she puts herself on a pedestal far above most people she interacts with. She has somewhat of an unstable sense of identity, seeing it more as a performance she feels the most comfortable with. A means to an end like everything else. 

The more you’ve endeared yourself to her the higher and farther she’s willing to go for you. Especially when it comes to her children. This makes the times she has to fake it much easier, she’s at her best when she’s in her element after all. Even then, unless you’re a certain mutant killer snowman, she’s willing to hurt even the people closest to her if they are straying away from what she thinks is best. She would never physically hurt her children but for the same reason that one wouldn’t break their $3000 dollar vase. Her children are intensely devoted to her, seeking out her comfort and approval above all else, but they are also deeply terrified of her. 

When not under the constraints of a polite environment where certain things are expected, her mind wanders to morbidly curious and sick places, nothing else exists but the innate desire for control, for shock, for filth. Like a child conducting an autopsy. It was something she had inside her long before she met Jack and something that stays with her to this day.

Likes: Singing, music, playing the violin, antiques, art history, clowns, collecting knick knacks and expensive things, showing off, cooking, cleaning, sewing, interior decorating, fancy galas/balls, CHRISTMAS!!!!!, torture devices, cannibalism, and snuff films.

Suzy, being the progenitor of all Frostbitten, has the same basic cryokinetic abilities. Including but not limited to: burrowing, freezing, constructs, surfing, and ice attacks.

This is commonly thought to be her only ability. She can often be seen talking to falling snowflakes, doing the dishes while the snow from the windowsill dries, or lecturing teenagers who take bites out of icicles for internet videos. It can be pretty useful in combat as well, such as predicting the patterns of avalanches or weak spots in frozen over water. 

As the years go by she finds that when harm comes to her environment, harm comes to her. If it is operating naturally she feels blissful and becomes physically enhanced, if it harmed she is filled with a deep righteous anger and her regular abilities are harder to control. 

Moisture Absorption

The user can absorb moisture in all its forms from the bodies of living creatures, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etc., either temporarily or permanently.

Suzette herself rarely uses this ability, every person she uses it on becomes a dried up husk of flesh. The issue though is that she can’t control it, she uses it so little that if she starts she can’t stop, meaning she overloads her system with moisture. If it’s been long enough since the last time she can even pass out, waterfalls coming from every orifice before she falls to the ground incapacitated.

18. Would you consider writing an original work in 2024?

Definitely! I have two 'novels' that are ready to be proofed, edited, and pitched. One is adventure, one is horror. Both with romance too. I have a few more ideas for novels I want to write too. The problem is always choosing which one to write first!

I have a supernatural story with some occult stuff and the Devil; a wintery adventure story; an action hitman story; a joint modern adventure/old west suspense story; a comedy FBI story; and a suspense murdery mountaineering story.

21. What character do you think you'll leave behind in the new year?

As of now, I'm only writing for Jacques, Flip, Mills, and Kylo. I don't think I'll officially leave anyone behind, but Kylo interests me the least these days. I've never been into space Kylo and I've only written AU's for him. I'm not closing off the possibility for more Kylo AU's in the future, but these days when I think of AU's, I want to write them with Jacques. And I need to write more with Mills too.

Btw We need to get our asses back in gear and get some serious writing done in 2024!

TLDR.

Grew up in Providence Peak the middle of three kids. Her parents had a drawn out, messy divorce when she was in seventh grade that made her home life unsatisfactory and led to bad grades and unhealthy coping mechanisms. She did a year of community college before dropping out due to further bad grades and she wants to go back but has too much anxiety around it now, especially because her parents constantly harass her about it. She enjoys working at Condom Sense but doesn't really fuck with the retail aspect.

PERSONALITY.

Esther is the most social and easygoing person you know, except for the days when she's feeling like a bitch. High anxiety and without the skills to cope with it, she's a laughably perfect mirror of her parents on her bad days — the difference is that after she's finished snapping at people, she usually feels kind of bad about it. A fastidiously loyal person, she's also crazy stubborn and if you really do something she doesn't like she'll be angry about it forever. She has a largely pragmatic, maybe pessimistic-leaning perspective of the world, but her softer side shows in the optimism she carries for the smaller things.

FUN FACTS.

Her step-mom's full name is Bonnie Foster-Goldstein Clements. Foster is her maiden name and Goldstein is her previous husband's last name. When Estie found out Bonnie was keeping her first husband's last name she busted out laughing and that really laid the foundation for their mutual hatred.

Esther also gave Bonnie's son, Michael, his first joint when he was 12 and she still brings it up to this day even though it was almost ten years ago.

Esther has a cat named Argyle. Argyle is Esther's mom's maiden name, which she notoriously changed back to during the messy divorce. When Esther went to find a cat to adopt, she found an orange tabby named Argyle and thought it was so funny she kept that as the name.

She loves cooking. It's therapeutic for her and she has an innate sense of it, so she's rarely if ever using cookbooks or recipes unless it's something absolutely brand new to her, and even then all she really needs is a quick glance here and there to sort of get an understanding for what she's supposed to be making. Not a big fan of baking though.

Loves absolutely all kinds of music and obsessively tracks what she listens to on Last.fm.

Every firstborn daughter on her mom's side of the family is supposed to be named Esther. Her dad, however, hated the name so much he refused to go along with the tradition for Esther's sister, and therefore had to give in when they had a second daughter.

Failed her driving test the first time.

Has an undiagnosed and untreated anxiety disorder that makes her kind of abrasive sometimes because she has no idea how to deal with it when she starts getting overstimulated.

When she was in 5th grade her teacher made everyone in her class pick a team for the football season and because historically she had never cared much for sports, she only chose the Pittsburgh Steelers because most other teams had already been chosen by the time it was her turn. The Pittsburgh Steelers went all the way to the Super Bowl that year, though, and then won — they're her team now, and though she doesn't get invested in football the way some people do, Esther goes hard for the Steelers.

BIOGRAPHY

**trigger warnings for divorce, substance use/abuse, untreated anxiety disorder

Born and raised in Providence Peak, Colorado, Esther's always thought that leaving her hometown seemed completely impossible, but that not leaving seemed even more so.

She's the middle of three children: her sister, Megan, is two and a half years older, and her brother, Ethan, is a year and a half younger. The age difference aways mattered less than the disparate personalities — Esther and Ethan clicked almost from the time Ethan started talking, while Megan found much less in common with her two siblings. These days, Esther thinks her sister is a giant fucking bitch and only talks to her when she has to.

When she was 11 and 12, during most of her seventh grade year, Esther's parents went through an extremely messy divorce. Following that, she and her siblings were forced to live with their mom during the week and their dad on weekends, which to Esther was massively unfair since her dad lived much further away from all her friends. She mostly left it up to Megan to fight with their mom and dad about it though — to this day, the only thing they agree on is that the divorce was fucked up and they can't figure out how their parents ended up together in the first place.

In high school, Esther was more focused on socializing and trying to fill the void of her home life and mostly got average to bad grades. Her dad remarried when she was 17 — she and her step-mom, Bonnie, openly despise each other and literally cannot share a friendly word. Megan and Bonnie get along famously, and not only because Bonnie (and her family) are loaded. Esther believes they're genuinely just cut from the same demented cloth. This is one of the few things Esther and her actual mother like to bond over.

While so many of her friends and classmates went away to school after graduation (or at least had some plan for what they'd be doing in Providence Peak), Estie enrolled in community college and proceeded to do about as badly as she had in high school. She spent her time not only socializing but picking up a pill habit (benzos mostly, which had the confusing side effect of feeling like they helped her anxiety), and she finally dropped out after only one year. Her parents constantly harass her about going back to school, and she does want to (with a very secret ambition to become an actress), but the more time goes by and the more they nag the more spiteful and anxious she becomes and aside from that, she learned a deep fear of commitment from her parents that's followed her into adulthood and made it difficult for her to set herself firmly to a path for her future.

She has some idea that she's running around with an undiagnosed and unacknowledged anxiety/panic disorder, but so far continues to find chronic suffering preferable to a therapist, thanks to the terrible one she and her siblings were forced to see when her parents got divorced.

She's been working at the local sex shop, Condom Sense, for about a year now after bouncing around a couple different places, and she always says that if she could be working in the industry somewhere cooler than Providence Peak, Colorado, she might actually enjoy it.

Like, I get that Ben Willis is supposed to invoke the hyper-realism of slashers in the 90s, but this guy can teleport, has superstrength, partial regeneration or something (there's no way the average guy is going to tank all the shit he did and still keep walking. )

Also, given how Julie has violent nightmares of him, he can psychically assault his victims and track them down relentlessly like a bloodhound in a raincoat (....Scruff McGruff?)

Part 3 firmly establishes him as something undead and unkillable, and even destroying his undead body doesn't do a thing since he came back anyways to hack apart kids in Colorado of all places.

Basically there's no way Ben is "normal" and has about the sake amount of "tank" power as some medium-hitters. Even more so once he becomes a supernatural creature that swallows shotgun blasts like it's nothing.

.....Definitely wish the ocean was invoked more for him. There's barely any slasher that really utilizes water or the sea, and it'd be awesome to see references to Rhime of the Ancient Mariner, including him fucking people up with a Legion of bloodthirsty albatross.

Plus.....I kind of want the excuse to listen to an Iron Maiden song in a slasher movie lol.

06/19/1942, Los Angeles - Norma Jeane and Jim Dougherty wedding

On Friday, June 19, 1942, Norma Jeane Mortensen married Jim Dougherty. The wedding takes place in the Howell family home (Chester and Doris Howell), friends of Grace Goddard, at 432 South Bentley Avenue, Los Angeles. Norma Jeane just celebrated his 16th birthday (June 1) and James Dougherty is 21 years old. It was Grace Goddard who "arranged" this marriage in order to avoid to Norma Jeane the return to the orphanage; and Ana Lower organized the preparations, including sending the invitations and making the wedding dress.

An announcement of the wedding is also published in the local press, in the "Westwood Hills Press" newspaper, "social" section of the 19 June 1942 (the day of the wedding): "Norma Jeane Baker will marry James E Dougherty on Friday".

The ceremony begins at 8:30 p.m. and is orchestrated by the Reverend Benjamin Lingenfelder, belonging to the Church of Christian Science (including Gladys -the mother of Norma Jeane- and Norma Jeane). Few guests represent the family of Norma Jeane: indeed neither her former tutor Grace Goddard (left to live in Virginia), nor her half-sister Berniece (who lived in Kentucky), nor her mother Gladys (hospitalized) are not present. Only the Bolenders (host family of Norma Jeane when she was a child) and Ana Lower are there, Ana bringing Norma Jeane to the altar. The bride and groom's witnesses are: Marion Dougherty, Jim's brother; and Lorraine Allen, a classmate of Norma Jeane. And he's the nephew of Jim, Wesley (son of his sister Billie) bringing the wedding rings arranged on a cushion. The Howell daughters, twins Loralee and Doralee Howell are the "flower girls", these little bridesmaids holding the bouquets of flowers in front of the bride. A professional photographer is even hired: Axel Togg.

According to the marriage certificate, Norma Jeane filled out the form under the maiden name "Mortensen"; to "father's name", it indicates "E. Mortensen" and "unknown" for father's birthplace; at "mother's name", she first writes a question mark then the inscription "unknown" followed by "Monroe" and "Oregon" for place of birth. As for James Edward Dougherty, his parents Edward and Ethel were both born in Colorado.

The wedding dress worn by Norma Jeane was made by "aunt" Ana Lower: with a wide rounded collar, allowing a deep neckline but wise so that the bride can wear a large necklace of white pearls around her neck; the long sleeves are made of a transparent veil, the rest of the dress is lined with lace fabric; she also wears a transparent veil over her head. Norma Jeane would wear the dress again for a photo shoot (during her younger modeling years) on March 23, 1946, photographed in the studio by Richard C Miller (but she will borrow the missal from the photographer's wife) and one of whose photographs will be on the cover of Personal magazine Romance of June 1947.

When Norma Jeane becomes the star Marilyn Monroe, it seems that she saved her dress to give it to her niece, Mona Rae Miracle (the daughter of her half-sister Berniece Baker) who will tell of having had it as a gift for her 14th birthday (in 1952): “Marilyn was thrilled when I wore her 1942 wedding dress for my first date at fourteen, a formal dance. Marilyn had worn it to sixteen years for her marriage to Jim Dougherty and another time for a cover photo for Personal Romances. "Your first date", said Marilyn. "Wow, what a landmark!" Then we carefully wrapped the dress in fabric and thought about the changes that are coming."

The dress was sold at auction in March 2001 by Sotheby's, which offered the personal effects belonging to Berniece and Mona Rae Miracle; the starting price was between 60,000 and 80,000 Dollars. An updated version of the Chinese CH-4 drone, equipped with a new national heavy fuel engine, recently completed its maiden flight.

The engine developed in China allows the updated version of the CH-4 drone to fly at higher altitudes for greater endurance and with heavier loads, CH UAV told the Global Times on Wednesday.

This drone has undergone scientific research tests as part of which it has successfully performed autonomous takeoff and landing, flight between waypoints, full load transport and tests under maximum flight altitudes and resistance.

"The heavy fuel engine used in the updated CH-4 drone was fully manufactured in the country from development to production," said Shi Wen, chief engineer of the CH series drone.

The engine offers low fuel consumption, long flight duration and a wide range of application environments.

“With the new heavy-fuel aviation engine, the drone can stay in the sky for much longer, fly further and reach higher altitudes and cruise ceilings. Its payload capacity has also increased by 30-50%," Shi said.

The CH-4 armed reconnaissance drone can also serve civilian purposes, such as high-resolution ground observation, mapping, communications, detection of aerial objects and environmental monitoring and forest fire prevention.

In addition to the CH-4, the series also includes the most capable CH-5, the larger CH-6, the CH-7 stealth and the CH-10 tilt rotor UAV.

growing up, cleo had it all. the perfect parents, the money, and the big house. none of that mattered to her though. she was more worried about sticking her nose in a book than spending her parents' money that they'd been working so hard for. her tendency to focus more on her academics than being a kid helped her in the long run when it came to excelling in life. she ended up graduating at the top of her call and was able be valedictorian, as her parents wanted her to be. she dove into college fearlessly with hopes of going into the medical field.

things, when it came to her goals, seemed to be going perfectly. she landed herself on the dean's list and continued to impress anyone she came into contact with. if they weren't impressed then they were definitely jealous and some of the people she came into contact with hated her due to how effortlessly she managed to make her way through school.

cleo wasn't the type to ever allow things to get her distracted. that was until she met her first boyfriend. she hadn't explored romance too much, not really. in fact, she hadn't really explored anything that involved another person. things changed though and she couldn't help but fall in love with the man because he seemed to know exactly what to say to make her melt.

the distraction wasn't a good thing though and her parents weren't impressed by the fact that she didn't get into one of the top medical schools in the country. in fact, she managed to land herself in one in colorado, which was a long way from home. too far from what her boyfriend was comfortable with and he ended up following her there. little did she know, it was to control her. she didn't know what love was supposed to be like and she assumed his intense need to be with her and control her was what normal.

the longer their relationship lasted, the more aggressive her partner became and the more cleo tried to find an out. she found one in mei. mei was the type that let her crash on her couch when she was too afraid to go home and she swore to her time and time again that she was going to leave the man. eventually, she did, or she tried when she graduated medical school and took a job where she was sure the man wouldn't find her. at least, that's what she wanted to believe. eventually, he did and promised cleo that he would change.

due to the fact that he was her first love and well, first everything, she gave in but it didn't take long for him to fall back into his ways. he didn't make it easy for her to get out this time around but the moment she figured things out, she left and went straight to the last person she remembered feeling safe. that being, mei and she was lucky to have her welcome her with open arms and allow her to become a partner in the practice.

in order to protect herself, cleo changed her last name to her mother's maiden name and goes by her middle name. that being, cleo. her born name is maxine harrington.

having only been in providence peak for a year, she's still weary when meeting people but she is trying to fit in as much as possible and often spends her free time volunteering at the animal shelter or planting things in the community garden.

After a journey spanning almost two decades, Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Dream Chaser reusable spaceplane, named Tenacity, is officially undergoing environmental testing at NASA’s Neil Armstrong Test Facility located at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in anticipation of its maiden flight to the International Space Station (ISS), currently scheduled for April 2024. The environmental testing consists of analyzing the spacecraft’s ability to withstand rigorous vibrations during launch and re-entry, along with the harsh environment of outer space, including extreme temperature changes and vacuum conditions. This testing comes after Sierra Space announced the completion of Tenacity at its facilities in Louisville, Colorado last month, along with the delivery of Sierra Space’s cargo module, Shooting Star, to the Neil Armstrong Test Facility that same month, as well. (Credit: Sierra Space/Shay Saldana) “At Sierra Space, we are ushering in the next industrial revolution with a business and technology platform that provides our customers with a complete turn-key solution offering space as a service,” Tom Vice, Sierra Space CEO, said in an official statement. “Our platform includes Dream Chaser, a revolutionary, highly reusable commercial spaceplane with global runway access, and the first business-ready commercial space station, leveraging the most advanced expandable structural architecture that will exponentially decrease the cost of product development and manufacturing in space.” Sierra Nevada naming its first spacecraft “Tenacity” is only fitting given Dream Chaser’s long and difficult journey getting to this point. This includes rejections, company buyouts, legal proceedings, engineering designs, test flights, and finally being selected by NASA in January 2016 to deliver cargo to the ISS. Less than a year after being approve by NASA, Dream Chaser successfully performed a successful free flight test at Edwards AFB in southern California in November 2017, which was a huge milestone for the spacecraft and the advancement of the commercial space industry. The goal of Dream Chaser is to provide a more cost-effective method for delivering cargo and supplies to the ISS, as while the spaceplane will be launched on a rocket, it will land like an airplane just like NASA’s Space Shuttle used to do. This will further enable its reusability capabilities, as NASA has contracted Dream Chaser for a minimum of six cargo resupply missions to the ISS during its contract. Dream Chaser’s maiden flight next year will be a collaboration between flight and ground controllers at the Dream Chaser Mission Control Center in Louisville, Colorado, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Texas. During this flight, Tenacity will conduct a myriad of in-flight tests after launch and prior to docking with the ISS. This includes performing vehicle maneuvering demonstrations within the ISS approach ellipsoid, which is a 4 x 2 x 2-kilometer (2.5 x 1.25 x 1.25-mile) invisible border encircling the ISS. Unlike the autonomous docking system employed on SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft, Dream Chaser will be docked and undocked to the ISS using the Canadarm2, which is a 17-meter-long (56-foot-long) robotic arm built by the Canadian Space Agency and installed on the ISS in 2001. During this mission, Tenacity is slated to deliver more than 3,500 kilograms (7,800 pounds) to the ISS and stay docked with the orbiting laboratory for approximately 45 days before being undocked by Canadarm2 and returning to Earth. Once Dream Chaser is greenlit for future flights after this first mission, it will be capable of delivering approximately 5,200 kilograms (11,500 pounds) of supplies to the ISS while staying docked for up to 75 days. Additionally, Dream Chaser will be capable of returning more than 1,600 kilograms (3,500 pounds) of experiments and cargo from the ISS to Earth, with more than 4,000 kilograms (8,700 pounds) of trash being discarded during Earth reentry using the Shooting Star cargo module. Furthermore, Edward is clearly the son of Hollis and Blanche, as evidenced by the 1900 (when two Ellises are living in the household), 1910, and 1920 censuses. [9] The 1910 and 1920 censuses also prove that Ida is the daughter of Hollis and Blanche as well. However, there's still the question of Elizabeth Chalmers, whom apparently was Elizabeth Mortimer but became wife of Kenneth Chalmers. How is she connected? As it turns out, there is an 1940 census entry for a Coloradan man Kenneth Chalmers in Fort Collins City, Larimer, Colorado, married to an Elizabeth. Then there's a 1930 census entry to the same effect, showing them living in Hartsel, Park, Colorado. [10] This is clearly our Elizabeth. That being determined, what is her maiden name and when was  she married? Well, we know that Elizabeth's full name is Elizabeth Muriel Mortimer and that she married Kenneth Wadley Chalmers on November 21,1925 in Colorado Springs. We also know that Kenneth, born in 1899, died in 1962 while Elizabeth, born in 1904, died in 1986. We only have one  source for Elizabeth prior to marriage listed on Family Search: a 1920 census listing her as the daughter of Stella L. Mortimer. Perhaps this is the Stella Mills whom was said to be Hollis's sister. [11] After all, this census lists  her as born in 1881, pretty close to the estimated 1880 I saw on Family Search.

Since her Family Search profile is inadequate, I looked further. The 1930 and 1940 censuses list her as married to an English-born man, John H. Mortimer, who was born in 1871, with the 1910 census also listing Elizabeth as her daughter. [12] However, the 1900  and 1910 censuses say she was born in 1880, while the 1930 and 1940 censuses say  she was born in 1881. The 1910 and 1920 censuses lists John's immigration date as 1894. This means he is the individual listed in varied records as born in Cornwall, England. [13] As another clue, the 1900 census shows John and Elizabeth living right next to Edward E. Mills and Edna Russell in Sanborn Precinct, Lincoln County, Colorado:

This census seems to say that Stella and John were married in 1900. But what about the Stella Mills claim? Let's go back to that Family Search profile. Basically the "source" just cites the 1900 census as evidence! This isn't good.

So far, I haven't found anything, even looking in the 1880 census specifically, to support that Stella is the sister of Hollis, and by extension, the daughter of Edward E. and Edna. Perhaps the evidence is out there, but I haven't found it yet. I did find the obituary of Kenneth, who was a Colorado state conservationist, which noted that at his death his wife Elizabeth and his half-sister Belle Wadley were surviving. I couldn't find much in Colorado Historical Newspapers Collection either, unfortunately.

On the page for this, a family search user writes that "Helen had three sons and later divorced Ray Sanches and left the sons with him, went on to marry and have a son with Edward E. Mills, left him and married many more times after wards never had any more children that we know of. Have since found my father Alberts have brother and his children."

ali and your muses father was a senator for the state of connecticut before the world went to shit and the virus spread. that being said ... your muse is unaware of ali's existence since ali was the byproduct of an ongoing affair between their father and his mother. to your muses knowledge during their childhood, the frequent traveling of their dad was due to the jetsetting lifestyle of a senator going between connecticut and washington d.c. perhaps your muses mother began to suspect something, but for the most part ali and his mother lived in a white picket fence house in newport, connecticut with monthly visits and a stream of child support coming through. ali and his mother were the home away from home. in the midst of the virus spreading and people changing, your muse ( we can discuss if there are other siblings that made it to the college as well bc i'm open !! ) and their mother were ushered into the hands of a security detail with the intent of getting them to the nearest safe zone. that intent would not come to be and your muse found shelter elsewhere. your muse would've only spoken to their father on a call one last time without seeing him again. mainly because their father would end up at the hartford, ct safe zone with ali and his mother where they would be for the following years until the safe zone fell. since then, ali is unaware if his father made it out alive and now without his mother, he's traveled west with the intent of finding the university of colorado that he's heard through whisperings. i like to imagine your muse as someone who's been there for some time before ali has and the two of them could have either gotten along or started off on rocky ground. either way, i love drama and a big reveal of them realizing they're related. ali uses his mother's maiden name, so it would have been your muse noticing the class signet ring ali wears around his neck that belonged to their father, your muse asking where ali got it from and .... chaos ensues ! i just want sibling drama !
