"Ah, apologies. My name is Maksviah. I hear that, in this realm and those parallel to it, you are the one who oversees those who have passed. If it is no trouble, may I ask for more specifications on your role and what it entails? I also wonder, is this a role that you have had thrust upon you or was it one you chose to take on?"

"I… do admit, I wish not just to learn more about you, but about how better understand mine children who's powers are connected to those of the dead. As one who was never Born and who existed in the time of Before life and death, I am ashamed to admit that I am woefully ignorant to all that occur within the realm of those who passed. I have seen how my children preform their duties, and now I wish to learn more."

"Of course I understand should you wish not to tell me. I will simply look elsewhere for answers."

EHEM.... WELCOME TO MY REALM, GREAT ONE.

MY ROLE IN THIS WORLD IS THAT OF THE OVERSEER. I WATCH OVER THE PASSAGE OF SOULS FROM THEIR WORLD TO THE NEXT. THIS IS A ROLE I TOOK UPON MYSELF, UPON REALIZING THE TRUTH OF MY PRIOR ACTIONS. THERE ARE TIMES WHERE A GREET THE SOULS OF THE DEAD, ASSIST THEM UPON THEIR JOURNEY. THERE ARE ALSO TIMES WHERE I BRING THEM MYSELF, BUT ULTRAVIOLET HAS GREATLY LESSENED THE NEED FOR THAT.

HAVING POWERS CONNECTED TO THE DEAD CAN BE A FINICKY THING. EMOTIONAL, AT TIMES. IT REQUIRES A CERTAIN KIND OF DETACHMENT, WHICH MAY SEEP INTO THEIR DAY-TO-DAY LIVES AS WELL.

"Hi! Goodness, you have nice children over there (or not.). Can ya tell more about them?" (Might be an unrevealed fact about one of them.)

"Ah. Well, yes." Vourison said, somewhat awkwardly, voice flat and stilted. "Not by blood, but yes, they are my children. And they are also quite sweet, if a bit mischievous."

The way he said it, along with his general expression, made it sound kind of rude, but it wasn't like he meant it to be! He was genuinely trying to be at least somewhat cordial, it's just that he wasn't exactly used to talking with those... outside his own realm. Barring his family he never really visited anyone. How did one converse with well adjusted individuals?

"Geez, what is there to say... Uh, I found them about six years ago, took them in, and haven't known a moment of rest since. There's a bit of struggle to control their powers due to space and time mixing, but they've made a lot of improvements and always try their best. I am very proud of them."

"They also like giving me a heart attack every time they decide poking their head into a new realm is a good idea." He said that last part dryly. "What about yourself. You have any. Like, hobbies or whatever."

As he spoke, Tempora and Iter had approached Rimi curiously. Tempora, being braver, leaned forward to gently snuff and inspect the Lycanroc while Iter's head remained coiled back, watching the shiny nervously.

(@ask-dawnanddusk) Maksviah stepped forward, gently nudging tree branches out of the way. Truly she was not surprised the other had seen her, as her massive form made it nearly impossible to hide.

Carefully lowering her head closer to the ground, Maksviah observed the strange pokemon for a moment before speaking, "Apologies, Jade Bound One, for following you. However, as I have never seen one such as yourself, I was most curious and decided to follow. If I may ask, what is your name, and what species is it you belong to?"

The pokemon lowered it's club looking up at the large pokemon before it. "Wow talk about large and in charge...definitely not one of the Lousy Three, wayyyyy too big. I assume you're not from around these parts if you haven't heard of Ogerpon, The Ogre Of Kitakami. My friends call me Poni, you can too if you want"

Lotta legends come and go over here, so it's nice to see them pass by! I've made friends with Maksviah-I hope we're something like friends-and I want to think I get along with others that have come by.

There's also Koraidon!! That seems like a really cool dragon to meet!

Oh! I wanted to mention how cool your jacket is, where'd you get it? I have to go to Sinnoh some time from now and I know it's gonna be cold for me, something like that would be nice to have. It looks super comfortable!

I am curious, however, how is it that you have come to hold such high status? Or, more specific, how is it that you came to meet your husband?"

Narcissa: "The story of how Abbadon and I met isn't that complex I guess. More of a freak accident caused by a very angry void worm! But that's a story for another day."

"But rolling back on to my status I am basically serving as a mini Arceus here in my home dimension because of something that happened eons ago. It was that or possibly loose my home and so I am treated with the same respect Alpha is treated for my work here."

Lowering her head to better see him, she spoke, "Greetings, Young Deity of Ocean Depths. I am curious about a many great things, however I will only ask you this; whom it is you wish to speak with? Are they a friendly acquaintance, or someone who you feel resentment towards? Either way, I wish you swift winds and a easy journey towards your destination."

She rumbled softly, voice filled with a slight melancholy, "My, how you remind me of my third eldest, and how little he was so long ago, hm... I do hope you may one day be able to open your heart once more towards others. Love, after all, is as real a force as gravity."

“Tch, love? There’s nothing left for me to feel but pain and frustration!” Hiro scoffed, looking away from the prying legend. “There’s no “love” left.”

His fists tightened by his side, sharpened fangs peering from his lips as his anger grew and his aura intensified. “All I want is for a certain bastard to get what’s coming to him. That so called, God of Souls." He spat mockingly. "Maybe then I’ll feel an ounce of relief...”

Though I do confess I am slightly disappointed none draw magic from my direct creations, such things cannot be helped. I wonder though, what the purpose of this tower is, along with the origin of those spirits who inhabit it? And, if what it holds is so important, how can you best protect it without knowledge of what it contains?"

Some were even Skitty or Delcatty, but it's mostly Vulpix and Ninetales. They all used to live here, long, long ago. But now, it's...

Whatever happened in the war, they lost. And the victors cursed the entire clan to be unable to leave the tower. They all died here, and they'll stay here until they either accept their situation and move onto the next life, or the curse is broken.

And do you know what you are being trained to do in the future? Or are you simply following blindly behind those who made you?"

Fievel: "The scientists wanted to see if ordinary Pokemon could survive n' thrive while having Legendary DNA infusions, so we were created from that."

"I'm far stronger than any normal Pikachu, and any normal Pikachu would know better than to get in my way, if they know what's good for 'em. Lots of 'em are terrified to be in my presence, just as they should be~"

His smug grin turns into a disgusted scowl.

"We're supposed to be the best of the best, but then that fuckin' runt came along and ruined it. She isn't even fully aware of what she is. Her potential was wasted."

"If I weren't stuck havin' to train her, I'd be an elite by now, just like our third counterpart."

(asktheisle) It was hardly a challenge for Nat to spot the familiar Reshiram stopping for a visit once again. They tried to approach calmly, but it was clear he was bubbling with excitement.

"Maksviah!! It's great to see you again! And you too, Loraifon."

The human remembered how the young one was a bit overwhelmed the last time, being sure to lower his voice in volume to address the Arceus.

"I see you both have your gifts from last time! Also brought along some more company, huh?"

"NAT!" Loraifon cheered at the sight of the human, excitedly stumbling to their hooves and leaning over the edge of his mothers back, eager to greet him.

"Loraifon, careful." Maksviah gently chided, raising a wing to help her child climb down from her back before speaking to Nat, "It's wonderful to see you again! It has been far too long since we've visited. I look forward to this celebration."

Landing on the ground with a little 'thump', Loraifon excitedly zipped around Nat in a happy circle, bonking his head on the humans leg like an affectionate cat before zipping off towards Dawn and Dusk. "Look, look! I have a cousin now!!" he pointed at Dusks head where Twilight peered out with bright, curious eyes.

"My two dear friends have recently become parents." Maksviah explained, "This is the first major celebration they have attended since their egg hatched."

"Hello hello!" Dawn waved a wing, laughing at Loraifons excitement, "I'm Dawn, this is my husband Dusk, and my darling daughter Twilight."

"We look forward to exploring the island and enjoying the festivities." Dusk said with a smile, "Twilight seems enamoured by the seashore."

"I wonder who she got that trait from~"

Stamping little baby hooves, Loraifon declared “Now that I have a new cousin you have to give us free snacks! It’s the law!”

“Haha, we would appreciate it if you told us where to get some for future reference. We’ll pay as needed, no need to worry.”

“THE LAW!!!!”

"It is regrettable I am unable to aid you with this curse that you bare, even after you have changed long ago... but perhaps this may be able to bring you some joy?" She lowered a wing to reveal a small basket hooked delicately on one of her talons. Within rested a coat made of soft fur and silk, enchanted to forever emanate gentle warmth.

I myself can give quite a few suggestions, and my dear friends have traveled quite a bit as well. It is always lovely to see the wonders of the world. Perhaps you may speak of the past now to me, as I am willing to listen? It need not be things which are negative either, should you wish to speak of passed loved one's, such things could also do you well. Only if you wish, of course. I mean not to pry."

Let's see...well, there was my mother, Yohualcoatl. She was made of stars I'm sure of it. Long long ago ancient humans would call her "The Great Sky Dragon", and saw her as the origin of all dragons. When she allowed meteors to fall, it became the first Draco Meteor.

Of course she was more than a myth to me, she was my mom! She doted on me and would take me flying into lower space, and I would fly slower on purpose because I liked watching her tail create small meteors. It functioned like a brush, in a way.

My father, Tonalcoatl, is probably the more well known of them. He appeared to the Draconids of Hoenn and stopped the rampage between Groudon and Kyogre-the first documented Mega Evolution for human history. He was called The Great Sun, doing away with the cataclysmic weather the two brought with ease. Of course he answered to Tano as well, being the first sun of the island and ensuring a day and night cycle with my mother.

I remember him being so kind, never losing his temper. He always seemed to know what to do and could think on the fly. He was very worldly and knowledgeable, and easy to approach too. I remember every once in a while seeing a human or two approach him, and he was very careful with them and eased their fears of being in his presence.

All of them-my parents, my siblings who weren't even named yet, Karaya. They all represented some part of the day in some manner, and as long as the sun keeps rising and setting, they're all with me.

That's one thing I learned from humanity-grief comes in different forms and in waves. If they can handle pain like that, and choose to keep going everyday despite it, who's to say that I can't as well?
