dont get me wrong, drowning in the rain is a great song and i really like it,

but i was listening to it and each time i hit the chorus i was like "hmm ive heard this before" and i realized it sounded almost exactly like elsie bay's mgp entry from last year (love you in a dream) and i went "oh haha i wonder if they have any writers in common"

Alexander Rybak (Norway, 2009) was one of the interval acts in 2024 Melodi Grand Prix - where he performed the winning song of 1984 Eurovision Song Contest, "Diggi-Loo Diggi Ley" by Herrey's (Sweden, 1984).
