MORE OR LESS INTERESTING FACTS?

What sports do you play/have you played? gymnastics, swimming, volleyball. liked hockey but only did it twice at school.. tried bouldering recently, fun but dont think id do it too often.

Any special talents? I draw and learn languages. I remember a lot of random things/situations/details that others don’t, apparently.

What are your hobbies? Draw, paint, learn languages, keep a journal, penpalling 🎨 📓

Dream job? Anything that makes me happy and gives me stability. Of my job I like web design and dealing with languages (when it works out well at least). Wish I could live of my art but it’s just a pipe dream and my plan was always to avoid making only thing keeping my alive becoming a source of major stress.

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

I started writing fanfic in August 2011. It was right after I came home from summer camp. I’d made a friend at camp who used Fanfiction.net, and it inspired me to make an account myself. ^^;

Initially, I wrote a bunch of weeb shit (Yu Gi Oh, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fruits Basket, Naruto, etc)

In December 2013, I joined Tumblr. I went through a somewhat cringey Supernatural phase, and ended up posting a couple SPN fics on my FF account.

Then, in late 2015, I got really into Fall Out Boy. In March 2016, I posted my first RPF fic, to my main blog. It was Pete Wentz/Reader. It was set in the Sixteen Candles music video universe (so…Vampire!Pete).

I never actually finished it, because I got some rude comments about how writing fic about Real People was weird and cringey. 😔

Then, in July 2016, I started getting into MCR…and I wrote Party Poison/OC.

Someone I was mutuals with on main - trying to defend me - said, “well it’s not actual Gerard, it’s just a character he played. So it’s not weird haha”

Me in my head: I really want to write about Actual Gerard, though. Fuck. 😰

In October 2016, I created this blog, so I could write MCR reader inserts without shame. ^^;

From October 2016 to February 2021, I was consistently writing MCR fic. That’s an incredibly long time, and I’m so grateful for the friends I’ve made in this fandom. 🖤

But, as winter came to an end, MCR stopped being my special interest. In March 2021, I got really into the anime RWBY, and made an AO3 account, so I could post my RWBY fics there.

Then, In May 2021, I watched Eurovision, and it changed everything.

Mere days after Måneskin won the competition, I started writing a Damiano David/Reader fic. It was multichapter, which was huge for me, because I’d written literally nothing but oneshots for five years straight.

….I didn’t finish this fic, either. 🤦‍♀️

Sometime around August 2021, when Balboa came out, my brain switched special interests again, from Måneskin to Blind Channel.

…and that’s still where it’s at now, a year later. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know how long this will be my special interest. Or what the next one will be after this. But, I’ve made so many great friends in the BC fandom, too. 💖 So, I hope I stick around for a while.

27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?

….I had to think hard about this one, because fanfic is rarely stressful for me! I have so much fun with all my characters. 😄

I guess I kind of stressed about Demon!Niko, because that AU was far dirtier and more explicit, than anything else I had written in years. 😳

33. Do you practice any other art besides writing? Does that art ever tie into your writing, or is it entirely separate?

Writing is pretty much it for me ^^;

But, I don’t only write fanfic! Fun fact: I’ve been writing poetry since I was like, nine years old.

During middle school, I started reciting my poetry publicly. I even caught the attention of my local literary magazine, while competing at a poetry slam. The magazine was only published in the county where I lived, but I got to tell everyone I was a Published Author lmao

I also got second place in the school talent show 🥈

I took a break from it for a while, but, when I was 20, my friend convinced me to recite some poems at an open mic night at my university. I got so much applause, I was really blown away 🥰

I wish I could find an event like that where I live now. I really miss it. As for how it ties into my fic writing…I’m able to relate to Niko and Gerard a bit more, because they’re lyricists. Singing on stage and reciting on stage feel a little similar, I guess?

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

At her very core, Maly is a very affectionate person. When comfortable with someone, she is very physically touchy as long as the other person is receptive to it. She holds hands, touches shoulders, and generally likes being physically close to people. She's up in your space if you're willing to receive.

She also comes across as selfless. She does a lot for other people before doing anything for herself. A lot of her hobbies are creative and she will often offer to make things for people. Food, clothes, jewellery. Whatever she can make that the person will accept. She's happy to help whenever she can, and anything that she herself needs will come last.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

Oh god, so much. General anxiety about how certain people view her, obnoxiously early to everything (but won't complain about it), hyper awareness about how she presents in order to leave people with a certain impression. There are definitely parts of me that she has taken on and I feel personally attacked. She has a trait of mine as well, where for her friends, if she's out shopping and she sees something they'd like, she buys it - regardless of whether their birthday is next week, next month, next year. She'll keep the present until the next holiday or the next time she sees them.

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

Eurovision is a time of Dramatics for Maly. It's the only time she really like gets super into where she's from. She gets little Spanish, Dutch and Polish flags, waving them aggressively when the acts come on. She feels the emotional damage when Poland doeesn't qualify.

1. Just the entire film Mannequin 2: On the move (1991)

This is a camp classic that no-one knows about, from the director of Tammy and the T-Rex and Mac and Me but better than either of those because it is a fish-out of water story where the female character's naiveté is not taken advantage of and the romance is genuinely wholesome? There is so much camp fun in this and it's SO quotable! The only link to the first film is Hollywood Montrose existing and that's exactly the type of zany sequel behaviour I like to see.

thank you so very much for indulging me! it’s nothing crazy or anything, i just think it’s funny and i realized this has been like,,, 100% on discord and none of y’all would know the amazing song My Minecraft Girlfriend Broke Up With Me by Oli TheOrionSound

so! i came across this youtube video one day (february 17th apparently) titled “Minecraft but i turn the blocks i find into a song” by TheOrionSound. i recognize him, as i have watched some of his videos, and so i click- assuming at first that this is a new video before learning it was published on March 13th of 2020.

in this video, as the title suggests, he makes a song. for some reason, my brain latched onto that song. i do not know why, nor do i know why my first thought upon seeing the spotify link in the description was “i want this to be in my spotify wrapped in december”. whatever came over me doesn’t matter, my following actions occurred and there is no way to get around them: i looped this song for hours, then days.

now, an important and relevant bit of context here is that i do not typically like looping songs. i prefer to have no idea what i will hear next, which is why the main playlist i use has 200 songs and is 11 hours long despite the fact that i got spotify in august. my most listened to song last year was played 28 times total even though i was in the top 0.1% of the Oh Hellos listeners (iirc, i’m not looking this up but it was either that or 1%, it doesn’t matter the point stands). this is not how i normally listen to music.

so i spent 5 days where i did not listen to any songs other than My Minecraft Girlfriend Broke Up With Me on spotify. it was constantly playing softly in the background, leading to a wonderful point where i had that, an hbomb stream, and the estonian eurovision preliminary country things all playing audio at the same time on my computer. that was the closest to god i have gotten so far (i do not understand any estonian btw).

i intended to try and forget about this song, so it would be a punch in the gut when i found it at the end of the years, but i found i couldn’t stop, even after the 5 days had ended. something about the tune just calls to me, whispering into my soul and promising me things i cannot put into words.

i have an oc who has become based around this song (somewhat), that i have written over 6k words about and have actually cried about. it is my lifetime most listened to song on spotify.

i did not realize what would come from me stumbling upon this random video in my youtube recommended feed, but it has changed my life and i suggest you find it and watch as it does the same.

So.....I wasn’t originally gonna share this, but eh.......

On top of Eurovision, I’ve also been really into Friday Night Funkin’ recently thanks to a friend of mine introducing me to it.....and its plethora of popular mods. In particular, there was one mod that caught my attention....a-and....well.....h-hasn’t let it go yet......Mainly there’s this one really cool character that’s been on my mind a lot, so.....

S-so, I uh.....made an OC. A-and....I wrote a profile for her yesterday....

I-I guess I’ll share this, cuz I feel like there.....might be a possibility that I’ll do something with her in the future? Cuz I do have some story ideas.....I-it’s just a matter of finding the confidence to get back into writing.....I-I dunno if it’ll happen, but it might.

I-it’s kinda....embarrassing, tho....I-it’s been a while since I’ve made an OC purely to be a....well, simp, but here we are.....>//////>

Name: Lina (she doesn't remember her last name...or her original first name for that matter) Height: 5'2" Quotes: "I-I'm sorry!" "Ms. Sarvente would know what to do...." "I hope I don't forget what happened today..." "D-don't look, please..." "W-were you listening? O-oh gosh- uh-" Age: In the 20s range Eye Color: White (in another art style, her eyes would be purple) Hair: Black, waist-length, pretty thick, and usually pretty messy due to her not having the energy to brush it all (she usually makes some kind of effort before going to the church, but it's not a lot) Build(Body Type/Shape/Any Scars Or Markings): Pretty thin. Not stick thin, though, as she does have curves and a pretty decent chest size (that she hides under her sweatshirt most of the time), but she's still pretty thin. She doesn't eat as much as she should. Normal Outfit(The clothes they most commonly wear): A baggy baby blue sweatshirt with a simple sleeveless pink dress underneath, and a matching pink scarf. Knee-high white socks and baby blue slip-on shoes. When it's really warm out, or when she's lounging at home, she'll take off the sweatshirt and scarf and just wear her dress, but most of the time she likes being covered. It makes her feel safe. General Personality: Lina is a very timid, shy woman who is scared of opening up and spilling her feelings out to people, not wanting to be a burden. She has really bad social anxiety, but attempts to be kind and polite to people, even with her lack of experience in social situations. She's always carrying a notebook with her, writing in it frequently. Most of the time, she's very quiet, but when she gets riled up or excited about something, she can talk more than you think. However, she has a tendency to stutter and stumble over her words a lot, especially when anxious or flustered. Her anxiety is bad enough that she hates asking people for things and is scared to draw too much attention to herself (due to awkward experiences with her roommate). She looks up to Sarvente and wishes she could be like her, and loves helping her whenever she can, liking the feeling of being useful (and, although she'll never admit it, to catch glimpses of Ruv). In her writing, she shows a more poetic, hopeless romantic side to her that she's too embarrassed to share, spilling it out into the lyrics she writes. She also uses her writing to vent the feelings she's too terrified to share with the world - her infatuation with Ruv, her feelings of jealousy towards Sarvente, her want and desire to become someone she can never be. She hates her feelings, and she's scared of her feelings.... Other random facts: -Lina is so bothered by her unknown past that she's absolutely terrified of forgetting things. This is the reason why she kept carrying around notebooks. She's been doing this for so long that if she's ever separated from her current notebook, she'll have an anxiety attack. -She's currently unemployed, but is able to continue living with her roommate as long as she takes care of the house. She's flat broke most of the time, only being leant money for her writing, so she doesn't have a phone. She only eats when her roommate does, but on the rare occasion she has extra money, she'll treat herself. -Like all FNF characters, Lina is musically talented - she writes songs (although she hasn't shared them), and she can sing decently well. She's scared of singing in front of others, but does it to herself all the time. However, she has very little experience with RAPPING specifically, making her a pretty easy opponent. -Her favorite colors are pastels, especially blues and pinks. -Besides going to the church on Sunday, she doesn't have much of a schedule, mainly just being alone in the house on most days. -She has a MAJOR weakness for cats. If she sees a cat, she'll immediately go to watch or pet it. Cats are the easiest way to make her smile. -She's normally pretty clumsy, and not physically strong at ALL. She can handle housework just fine, but not heavy lifting. She also can't cook at ALL. Please help her, the woman's a mess -Despite attending church, she's mostly agnostic. She mainly goes just to hang in the back of a side isle and watch Sarvente and Ruv. -Lina doesn't know that Sarvente is a demon, seeing her as a normal nun like the rest of the public. She's also unaware that Ruv is a criminal. -While she's talked with Sarv, she's never spoken directly to Ruv, being too nervous to. He's looked at her a few times, and that's been enough to send her into a frenzy. Likes: Music, writing, feeling useful, inspiration, being at the church, seeing Ruv, when people are nice to her, cats, pastel colors, sunny days, the rare times she's proud of something she wrote, pizza (she associates it with her roommate being nice to her, so it's her favorite food) Dislikes: Forgetting things, being put on the spot, loud noises (like thunder), large crowds, asking for things, being seen crying, when people ask to see her writing, whenever she feels jealous of Sarvente, embarrassing herself in front of Ruv, her body Powers/Skills: No powers. She's a normal human. Skills, however....she can write poetry and music, she can sing, and she's a pretty smart thinker when she's not stressed. Weapons: None Backstory: Lina was found at the site of a horrible accident by the person who would become her roommate, who felt sorry for her and took her in. She had no memory of her life before the accident, being left a scared woman with no past...a blank slate.

At first, she was a wreck, understandably. She tried desperately to remember her past, but nothing worked. Even as she settled into her new life, the fact that she couldn't remember who she was ate away at her day in and day out. Feeling sorry for her, her roommate gave her a notebook to make notes in. Lina found that that helped a lot, and discovered how much she loved writing.

Over time, her roommate started becoming apathetic toward the little "freeloader", and a deal was made so that she could continue living with them until she could somehow get a job: she was to clean and watch the tiny house while they were away at work. She didn't mind this deal since it made her feel less guilty. During her free time, Lina also discovered her love of music, and began singing to herself while alone.

She eventually accepted the fact that she may never remember her past, but at least she can try her hardest to make sure she never forgets again. She began carrying a notebook with her wherever she went, and continues to store all her old notebooks in her room. She never throws any page away.

She records everything: her thoughts, her plans, everything noteworthy that happens to her, and every lyric she thinks of. She finds it relaxing to spill her heart onto the pages, so no one will ever hear her say them....this is especially true after she meets THEM. After meeting Sarvente one day, Lina is invited to join a church. She's unsure at first, but decides to go. And that's where it all began....she met Ruv (well...more like she saw him talking to Sarv), and immediately took to him. Tall, stoic, intimidating...and yet, Lina could see a softness in him whenever he was with Sarvente. She wished she could meet someone like that....someone strong, who could protect her and keep her safe...

And over time, she realized that she couldn't get him off her mind. As if...she was fixated on him. She found herself writing about him a lot. And then she realized that she was very rapidly developing a crush on the man. Being unable to remember what a crush feels like, it was a lot to adjust to at once, but she found herself really liking the feeling....that is, until she realized that she could never hope to achieve the same closeness to him that Sarvente has. She wished she was like Sarvente....

...She realized that she had become jealous of someone who had only ever been kind to her. And she hated it. So, Lina hid her feelings away once again.

Currently, Lina visits the church every week. She's always the first to arrive, and the last to leave. Even when people come and go, she always sits in the back of one of the side isles, writing away in her notebook. She simply likes the feeling of being in the church. The safe atmosphere, Sarvente's kindness, and the possibility of seeing HIM. Sarvente has noticed how long Lina stays for, and sometimes asks her for volunteer work, which she's happy to provide. However, although Sarvente is happy to have a regular visitor, she also doesn't take Lina very seriously, talking to her as if she was a child due to her appearance (if she HAS caught on to Lina's crush on Ruv, she hasn't said anything because of this). "Oh, little Lina, you're so cute!" Lina doesn't mind the headpats and squeals, but has a hard time believing that she's "cute" in any way. Lina looks up to Sarvente, treating her with a lot of respect, calling her "Ms. Sarvente". Sarvente calls Lina "little Lina". Lina likes helping out, but...she also often feels insecure and inadequate due to constantly comparing herself to Sarvente.

One day, after the church closes and Lina is on her way out the door, she runs into someone who Sarvente had a recent tussle with...a guy with blue hair.

➤HOBBIES: anything that is physical (fucking jocks, amirite?), she's loves going for jogs (can't relate - secretly naruto runs during night time jogs 'cause no one can see her being lame), and playing streetball, etc. watching anime, reading manga, ranting on the interwebs about her shows and books (in general she avoids the bigger internet drama 'cause it's stupid, but sometimes you gotta put a bitch in their place, 'CAUSE DAENERYS IS THE PRINCE THAT WAS PROMISED, FUCK YOU!), watching reruns of pro-games (can't relate, so boring)

➤STRENGTHS: determined, perseverant (is that even a word?), passionate, relentless, protective, observant, straightforward (usually ends up insulting people though, so it's more of a weakness tbh), goal-oriented, independent, self-reliant, has enough self-awareness to not go off on weeb/otaku interests in front of most people, but if it's like a "smart" anime, she'll discuss it (like Death Note, she's not gonna fucking admit to still loving Naruto at this age, shut up), diligent, loyal, a bad bitch (lol, not so much, but she likes being perceived as a strong girl who can and will stab you with her stiletto. the image only lasts for a few seconds, she more just comes off as rude).

➤WEAKNESSES: stubborn, very blunt, which tends to come off as brash and rude, though she's not always intending to be mean, despite that rude, blunt nature, she's also a bit tsundere, and struggles admitting her to deeper feelings. Gets flustered when complimented (outside of sports, there she's fine 'cause I'm the best bitches, or so she says), and she just can't admit it when she needs someone, whether it be a friend or romantic interest, especially if it's a romantic interest, 'cause she's also of the mind of who needs a boyfriend when there's food? while she's observant when it comes to changes in people's behaviour, she in general lacks the capacity to act well on her observations, and is awkward when trying to comfort someone or cheer them up. When it comes to her own feels, part from rage, annoyance, or "Jock Mode", she can barely admit to them, let alone discuss them with other. Speaking of "Jock Mode", she is competitive AF, somewhat dismissive (this usually only comes out in games, but she tends to ignore weaker opponents in search of stronger ones who pose a challenge). Also tends to display some arrogance in the sports she's most talented it, particularly volleyball. It's not quite a personality flaw, but she's weak for loving parents, or just a loving family in general (in life and when watching movies, it makes her fucking cry every time, which really puts a damper on her tough girl image, it's not usually a visible one, but she can't hide the longing in her face when she watches a parent and their child being a normal, happy family). Definitely has tunnel-vision, once she has a goal in sight, that's all she sees. Can even be paired down to dumb things, like C-grade trashy alien movies. She tends to notice only the aliens and revel in their destruction, while ignoring everything else, including the plot. Has plenty of issues; abandonment, trust, ptsd - none of which she is dealing with. She's just ignoring it and hopes it goes away once she becomes a cool, reliable adult™️ (lol, good luck that, adult life is a lie).

➤SHORT BIO: Katarina is half-Brazillian, half-Russian, though she is under the assumption that she is Romanian, she is biological the daughter of Vasily Raevsky, a Russian Oligarch, and Xuxa Amalia Reis Moreno, a Brazilian businesswoman and all round bad bitch. For reasons unknown to her, Katarina was in effect abandoned at birth and placed in a Romanian orphanage in Brăila, which is also presumed to be her birthplace. Her birth certificate lists both parents as unknown, the orphanage named her. Having no parents or known family, and raised in an orphanage has given Kat many self-reliant skills, and allows her to live independently, but it has also left her with a deep sense of loneliness (not to mention PTSD 'cause Romanian Orphan life is a nightmare). She recognizes that much of her yearning is still childish fantasy, and often covers up that desire with her brash nature or jock hobbies.

Growing up in the orphanage was... not easy. The Brăila Home for Children was not the best, to say the least. Though it could've been worse (*shudders at the case of the Sighetu Marmației institution for disabled children* - do better Romania, oh my god). The orphanage was under and poorly staffed. They would often neglect and abuse the children, one year shaving every childs head so they all looked the same, and often chaining rowdy children to their beds. During Katarina's time, many of her fellow orphans died from minor illness or injuries such as cataracts or anemia, which were treated poorly or simply ignored, and a number also starved to death. Because of this, Katarina has a habit of hoarding food, and keeping snacks under her pillow. She also has difficulty sharing, and despises headboards that are railed(? the ones with gaps, idk what to call them).

When she was around eleven, the orphanage received ample anonymous donations, leading to much improvement, and the arrival of a new Director, Ileana Cojocaru, who, over time, earned the trust of Kat and her fellow orphans, and became something of a surrogate mother. Ileana did a nearly complete staff overturn (fun side note, some of the staff, especially those who harmed Kat have gone missing in the past few years, coincidence? no), as well as hiring accomplished childcare professionals from all over the world to help the children. It was Ileana who sparked Kat's, or rather Rina as Ileana called her, interest in sports, though Ileana was more into football herself, she encourage Kat to explore whatever she wanted, though particularly team sports so that Kat could foster dependent relations. Kat herself particularly enjoyed volleyball, joining a little league team and winning a number of competitions. Due to her skill both in setting and spiking, she usually plays in the Opposite Hitter position.

Katarina entered EHS in Highschool, on what she assumed to be the Elite's scholarship program, arranged by Ileana, who even said as such, though in truth, her entry and tuition are all being handled by an anonymous benefactor. This fact was revealed to Kat last summer after Ileana died (of p̶l̶o̶t̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶e̶a̶s̶e̶ cancer), whose lawyer was put in charge of the bank accounts meant to pay for all of Kat's needs. The lawyer refused to divulge whom the anonymous benefactor is, citing a non-disclosure clause, though the need to discover who has given Kat a whole new mission in life.

➤FAMILY: On Katarina's part, she doesn't believe she has one, though she does consider Ileana to be her family, and has grown to care somewhat about her fellow orphans from the Brăila Home, while growing up they were rivals struggling to survive. Ileana's death devastated her, and she's dealing with it by straight up ignoring it. Lol, I'm not sad, my eyes are just glistening with the ghosts of my past.

Biologically, despite her complete lack of knowledge of it, Kat comes from rather a rather illustrious family. Her mother, Xuxa Amalia Reis Moreno, is a Brazilian Businesswoman, herself the daughter of a self-made millionaire, Xuxa is expanded the Moreno parent company, MC Inc., an oil and mineral company in origin, into numerous side ventures, owning and operating businesses ranging from restaurants to magazines and clothing lines. Her father meanwhile, Vasily Raevsky, is of the (former) noble House of Raevsky, now oligarchs in modern-day Russia, who virtually control Russia's diamond and precious stone industry, currently owning controlling shares of ALROSA, the largest diamond mining company in Russia, and accounting for 95% of the countries diamond production, as well as 27% of the global diamond extraction, and the House of Fabergé, which they purchased after the fall of the Soviet Union. If she remained in the care of either of her parents, her name would technically be Katarina Vasilyevna Moreno Raevskaya, which is a fun and utterly useless fact.

Her parents met at a rich people conference (idk, Davos or some shit like that) and engaged in a short lived affair. Her father was already married and could not accept her, and her mother had no interest in being a mother at all, let alone a single one, leading to them choosing to give her up in Romania, an arbitrary choice that fucked her up, lol.

Via her father, she has an elder brother, Viktor Vasilyevich Raevsky, who is in fact her anonymous benefactor. Viktor discovered her existence after Vasily had an accident and was close to death, so he confessed his sins and what not. Viktor eventually tracked her down and sought to improve her life. Though he wants to bring her into the family, he doesn't for the sake of his mother who cannot deal with the affair, though she refuses to divorce Vasily for appearances sake.

Eurovision Fact #566:

A group of three artists worked to create a mural of Käärijä (Finland 2023) in the Tikkurila district of Vantaa, Käärijä's hometown. The mural was painted on the side of a Prisma outlet building, and the location was chosen due to the high foot traffic the area receives.

The three artists all had specific roles in bringing the piece together: "Viivi ”Viv Magia” Vierinen is responsible for the Käärijä figure, Joonas ”Koponee” Koponen for the calligraphy, while Juha Lahtinen paints the background." All three worked together to design the piece.

Käärijä came to see the piece upon its completion and shared his gratitude to the artists for their hard work.

ABBA's music video "The Last Video," which was shown at the 2004 semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, featured puppets resembling the band members created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Everyone was delighted by the puppets and when Agnetha saw her's she laughed and said "I look like Miss Piggy!"

i. Who/what is your biggest support system when it comes to your writing?

My best friend is incredibly supportive, she always wants to read what I’m working on and slaps me when I have too many side hoe projects. My parents miraculously aren’t ashamed to have a starving artist daughter, they always ask how the writing is going and for that I’m grateful. I’ve heard many horror stories about parents vs. writer children. I do also have a “Critique Partner” who kicks my arse when I’m not working enough.

ii. You forgot your lunch at home and now you’re starving, but you don’t have the time to go and get something. Which oc would gladly buy you lunch and bring it to you, but get the order completely wrong?

Lukas. I’d give him an order and he’d likely ignore it and make homemade equivalents.

iii. Do you prefer music or pictures as inspiration? Why?

Probably pictures because I spend a hell of a lot of time on Pinterest and, well, a picture says a thousand words. I do also get a lot of inspo from music, like I’d be lying if I said half the Eurovision songs haven’t added to Dark Magic in the past few days.

iv. How many novels are you working on?

Technically three, Dark Magic, the sequel to Dark Magic, and Hybrid Rising. Those are the consistent ones, inconsistently I have another four or five on top of that.

v. Which oc is absolutely brilliant, but lacks the recognition?

Probably Elisabeth from Hybrid Rising. She legit keeps Connor in check all the time, she’s the voice of reason, the brains behind the man, and when she dies everything turns to shit for Connor and the pack. She does it all with little to no thanks.

vi. If you are an avid reader, do you read the same genre as the books you write, or are they completely opposite?

Yes. I read what I write 99% of the time.

vii. What is your favorite thing about being an author?

How seemingly complicated it is in my brain to everyone except me. Though I do have times where I have to write everything down because it’s way too cluttered up there. And my attention span sucks. I also love the fact I can make an entire universe and its people. It’s kinda special.

viii. If you could choose any oc to hug the heck out of right now, who would you choose?

Zach, because he’d hate it. He’s allergic to affection from nearly everyone.

ix. Do you have any other hobbies/passions that sneak into your writing?

I actually don’t think so. Though one reoccurring thing is the fact that all my characters at one point or another will wear hoodies, because I wear hoodies to curb paranoia. So many hoodies!

x. If you were to write a historical fiction novel, what era would you choose?

Either 16th century or 19th. I have an obsession with the Tudors and the 19th century is just ... Victoria engineering, like I can’t even.
