Every evening, when I really relax my tummy and notice how big it is... it just amazes me how it's now bigger than it was yesterday, and smaller than it will be for the next FOUR. MONTHS.

the idea that restrooms, locker rooms, etc need to be single-sex spaces in order for women to be safe is patriarchy's way of signalling to men & boys that society doesn't expect them to behave themselves around women. it is directly antifeminist. it would be antifeminist even if trans people did not exist. a feminist society would demand that women should be safe in all spaces even when there are men there.

Isn't it weird how some shit goes down in your life, and suddenly every single lyric you hear is applicable to your situation?
I've heard these songs a thousand times before. But now I hear them different

I don't think bi means pan with a preference.
I think bi was originally named bi by someone who only knew of two genders, but the community quickly adapted to be inclusive of all. Then eventually, pan became a counter movement because other people kept being confused that bi means two.
I've also seen the current definition explained as: pan means feeling attraction to the person regardless of gender, whilst bi means having an attraction to feminine people and masculine people in slightly different ways. But I'm not sure what the source of that is.
In the end, people basically pick bi or pan or omni depending on what feels the most right for them for whatever reason.
Is Loki pan or bi?
Also what's the difference? /Gen
Cuz I've seen people say bi, despite 'bi' literly meaning two, means you're attracted to all genders. That's what the purple stripe is for. But isn't that what pan is? Or if bi is just pan with a preference then what is omni? /Genq
I also feel that Loki would look past gender when it comes to attraction and just see the person, thus negating any gender preference.
I really don't mean to insult anyone, I'm genuinely curious and asking. ❤️

Anyone else sick of hearing "they keep talking about their gender all the time - they're just doing that gender thing for attention!"
Well guess what. Cis girls who share pictures of themselves in their prom dresses... they're doing their gender thing for attention. Cis boys who volunteer because their teacher "needs some help from some big strong boys", they're doing their gender thing for attention.
New parents who dress their babies in cute pink dresses or boyish dinosaur/batman motifs, they want even their babies to have "gender-appropriate" attention from others.
This is a normal thing that a lot of people do because it gives euphoria to get affirmation for your gender. If your gender is somewhat unusual, you will never ever get to have those normal experiences unless you make sure people notice and remember what your actual gender is. Cis people do it all the time too, it's just harder to notice because we've seen it a million times and got used to it.

This song is about being 17 and coming to terms with bisexuality, but I think it works well for gender stuff too, especially if you're transmasc 🩷🩵🤍
Skeleton come to life in my closet
I found out what it takes to be a man
Well, mom and dad will never understand
What's happening to me

this is a way better model... you'll still get transphobic & intersexist drs of course but i prefer this to male / female or even having separate questions for gender & sex.
[we can't see the full form, but i'd suggest having a "something else" option and dominant hormone question too.]

Why bother arguing in support of trans people if you’re not trans?
very simple concept called believing in human rights

“And I don’t think anybody should feel bad if they get diagnosed with a mental illness, ’cause it’s just information about you that helps you to know how to take better care of yourself.
“Being bipolar, there’s nothing wrong with it. Being bipolar is like not knowing how to swim. It might be embarrassing to tell people, and it might be hard to take you certain places. But they have arm floaties. And if you just take your arm floaties, you can go wherever the hell you want.
“And I know some of you are like, ‘But Taylor, what if people judge me for taking arm floaties?’ Well, those people don’t care if you live or die, so maybe who cares? Maybe fuck those people a little. I don’t know.”

Suddenly struck with a need to explain to you how boat pronouns work (I work in the marine industry).
When you're talking about the design of the boat, you say "it".
When the boat is still being built, your say "it".
When the boat is nearing completion, you can say "it" or "she".
When the boat is floating in the water you probably say "she", unless there is still a lot of work to be done (e.g. no engine yet) then you say "it".
When the boat is officially launched and operating, you say "she". If you continue to say "it" at this point you are not incorrect but suspiciously untraditional. You are not playing the game.
If you are referring to a boat you don't really know anything about you may say "it" ("there's a big boat, it's coming this way"). But if you know its name, it's probably "she" ("there's the Waverley, she's on her way to Greenock").
If you are talking about boats in general, you say "it" ("when a boat is hit by a wave it heels over")
If you speak about a boat in complimentary terms, it's "she" ("she's a grand boat"). If you are being disparaging it may be it, but not necessarily ("it's as ugly as sin", "she's a grotty old tub").
If she has a boy's name, she's still she. "Boy James", "King Edward", "Sir David Attenborough"? The pronoun is she.
If it's a dumb barge (no engine), you say it. But if it's a rowing boat (no engine), you say she.
I hope this has cleared things up so that you may not be in danger of misgendering floating objects.

I am pretty sure Lokius does not become canon in the second season, because I would have definitely seen it on tumblr, had it been the case, but I've seen two episodes thus far and they are so in love I am honestly confused on how is it possible for them to not be canon. Their every interaction is just like: "I believe in you and I will do anything for you, stare deep into my soul, do you want your comfort food, cause I know you do, come eat, love of my life" and like? what am I supposed to do about it as a viewer? just die? perish in a fire? I am so confused you guys
