I’ve had really bad pain for almost 2 months now and it’s not even really responding to pain meds even more and idk what’s causing it.

I went to the doctor a week or two ago to talk about it and got a blood test done because I thought my thyroid levels were maybe off again but they weren’t? I was hoping it was that so I knew how to fix this but I have no idea what to do. The doctor prescribed me meloxicam for it and I know it takes like 2 weeks to kick in but I didn’t know that til yesterday so I skipped a bunch of doses.

I have no idea how to find out what is causing this pain. I have no idea what tests to ask for. It starts in between my left shoulder and chest and sometimes goes down my arm or into my ribs and sometimes it’s both sides that do it like my whole upper body is in pain.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?
