"do what, nadine ?? i was just standing there cracking jokes with everyone and you ... god !!" dennis is having none of this, obviously. he had pulled nadine into the back office of paddy's after the kiss that happened in the bar, a kiss that happened in front of the gang. it was no secret that dennis and nadine were involved, but dennis wasn't planning on actually acknowledging it with the group. that was for private, that was for them. it would be different of course if their situation had stayed as it began, but over time dennis had begun to feel things for nadine, and it seemed they felt the same. that level of vulnerability ?? that was not something that dennis did.

"we aren't a couple." now that hurts him to say, but no one would be able to tell. the only emotions showing on his face are anger, he's stuffing the rest of it down ( he knows it will hurt nadine too, which is why he says it, but it's part of the reason why it hurt so damn much, too ). he wants them to be, but he doesn't know how. how to ask and how to allow himself to let it happen. "you don't just get to kiss me at our place of work. not to mention !! i own this bar, you barely even work here, you mostly just hang around. so ... lets keep any of that shit private, alright ??"

they are laughing when they kiss him. does that make it less of a kiss? they aren’t sure. it’s not like they’re laughing at him, it’s at something funny he said. that’s what the kiss is because of, too. what can they say? stupid jokes are the way to their heart. (For Adam!)

it happens while he's mid sentence, queueing up something else equally stupid to say. in an instant, he forgets what it was he was saying - there is only that kiss, softer and lighter than he might have expected it to be if he'd thought about it.

he hasn't thought about it before. (yes he has.)

nadine pulls away and he's looking at them in a bit of shock. there's a smile on his face, one of his very, very stupid smiles. "whoa."

a gasp passes through his lips the second they run their fingers through his hair. hand reaches up out of instinct, nudging nadine's hand away with a scowl on his face. "oh !! oh come on ... you're kidding me." the grin on their face only makes him more annoyed, moving to reach up to try his best and readjust his hair. eyes narrow in their direction as he lets out a tisk. "i spent like ... like an hour on my hair this morning !!" how embarrassing, standing in the middle of the roller rink where everyone can see him, hair sticking up at all different angles now. "why did you do that ??"

OK I have got to hear about Werebears, Werewolves, and Witches, Oh My!

Okay okay, shared a snippet here and here already but have another! Basically the context here is that Jacob found out Dean was also a werewolf ages ago (after attacking him bc he was in his territory and he didn't know it was him) and agreed to help him through his cycles/turns after that! So this is like the seventh time he's helping him through one and he's just a big ole protective softy about it <3

Jacob doesn't look surprised to see him, blue eyes glancing over his shivering form before they look over him to inspect the sky. The full moon stands high in the sky, peeking out through slow clouds and threatening the inevitable. Dean can feel that familiar sensation burning under his skin and from the small wince on Jacob's features he can tell he feels it too. He was thankful he had someone else to go through this with, even if the way he'd found out about Jacob had been less than pleasant. Being nearly ripped to shreds by your friend wasn't exactly something to put in a scrapbook anyway.

"Go sit the truck, i'll be out in a second." Jacob's usual drawl is heavier than normal, the gruffnes to his tone riding the line of being a constant growl. He'd had many more years to learn how to control himself during his turns, but his body still gave him away in the smallest ways. Like the way his pupils dilated as he put a hand on Dean's shoulder, that protective sheen glossing over them as Dean nods weakly.

He really hated this part, unlike Jacob he had very little control over his turns. Every one was as painful as the last and he'd really prefer if he could just pass out and wake up when it was over. He stumbles over to the cherry red truck, gripping the handle and opening the door with a small heave. His body was already in agony, his bones feeling like they were shifting under the muscle and his head felt like it was splitting open.

He slides into the passenger's seat and hunches over, putting his sweaty forehead on the dash as he sucks in shaky breaths. This sucked, this sucked a lot. What he'd give to just go to that dumb bonfire and get drunk with the rest of their friends instead of this. Or hell, even go see whatever Marcus was up to, he was probably having a better time than he was right now.

"Chew on this." Jacob tosses him a bag of jerky as he finally slides into the driver's seat, shutting the door and starting the ignition smoothly. Dean tears the packet open with his teeth, his aching gums thankful for the tough meat as he sinks his teeth into it. It helped ease some of the discomfort, for now.

🐈 Do you all share one big bed together or do you have different beds?

At the beginning of the relationship everyone was in separate beds, Cas technically didn't sleep so he was more so in a chair or somewhere else. Slowly Cas started sharing a bed with me, and Dean eventually just got into the bed with us one night and now it's common we all share a bed! For the good ending of our timeline we get a big country house together with a massive king sized bed that we all comfortably fit it (and yet still end up all in the middle or at one of the edges piled over each other).

🐋 What are each of your FOs' nickname? Do they have one for you too?

We have tons so I'll do the most common two for each!

Dean: Boss man, cowboy (both from me and he always gets a dumb grin on his face when I use them)

Castiel: Cas, Angel (From me and Dean, the Angel one is only used when he's in a good headpsace otherwise it can be a sore spot)

Me: Sweetheart, Baby boy (From Dean because he's a nerd who likes the classics)

Cas prefers to just use our names because they represent the two people he loves most but when he's human he let's a few 'baby' and 'love's slip!!

The ship name is Feathers and Flannels so I guess it'd be that!! It represents us pretty well I think!!

What happens is that I am writing a fanfiction #kevedd for Wattpad and in this story, Mandark and Double D are best friends and are encouraged to form a band together with Courage, Bubbles and Jack. Dexter upon learning this and of course not to be left behind also decides to form a band with the first ones he met along the way and thus starts a small war between both bands in the pure style of the battle of Britpop

today i have been giving ted talks in my room about how people who say they dont like country music are Phucking Stupit. 

#i see it on tiktok all the goddamn time where people will hear a song like forever and ever amen and be like #'ohhh this is the one kind of country music that is good :)' NO YOU MORON!!!!!!!!!! #look the theory that 9/11 ruined country music has been popularized and i agree with it. but people didn't like country music BEFORE 9/11. #it's been seen as poor people/white trash/stupid/redneck music since before it was called country music in-fact. #if you're my age or older you probably remember when you'd ask someone what kind of music they liked and if they sucked they'd answer: #'everything but rap and country' #like 'i have no personality but i want to draw a firm line between me and black people and poor/rural white people who are lesser than me' #and i mean it was never really the case that people actually hated rap. i associate that most strongly w like 2008 #and most of the top 100 songs of 2008 were *songs by rappers* that everyone knew all the words to. #it was not about actually disliking the music it was about the social capital that your music taste gave you. #you really don't hear anyone under the age of 50 proudly proclaiming they don't like 'rap' these days. but COUNTRY? #im not saying racism Is All Fixed by ANY means but especially since 2016 the hatred white liberals have for poor/rural white folks is. well. #and my own daddy's a prime example. he'll swear up and down that he hates country music because it's what trump supporters listen 2 #but he loves patsy cline. like she's not the queen of country. #WHATEVER. read rednecks queers and country music by nadine hubbs. #carly.txt

after nadine speaks dennis stays quiet, he doesn't know how to respond to that. especially because they're right. he did like to keep things at arms length, farther even if it was possible. getting close to someone, letting someone in, that wasn't something that dennis would openly welcome. but with nadine ... things were different. this wasn't just them sleeping together, nadine wasn't just another person for him to use his system on. they were more. he recognized that, but he didn't know what to do with that. it felt like all he could do was think of them, want them closer, want to let them in.

and he had let them in, in some ways. nadine had been inside his head, probably seen things that no one has seen before. things that he would rather die than verbally share with anyone. but there were never any harsh words from the other, only soft touches and patience. if he didn't pull back soon they would get too close, see sides of himself that he refused to share with anyone besides himself. but is that what he wanted ?? did he want to let them in ??

dennis blows out a breath of laughter through his nose, nodding his head a bit. "yeah, i do. usually." eyes that were once focused on theirs now shift to the ground. vulnerability ... is that what was happening right now ?? is that why he felt so nauseous ??

( or did he feel so nauseous because he realizes how much he has hurt them because he tried to keep them at arms length ?? )

"i don't know if i want to do that ... anymore." he adds quietly, still unable to raise his gaze to meet theirs.

saoirse ronan ! sdhfjshdf . i think it was back in 2012 ? or 2013 ? maybe 2014 when i started learning how to gif because she doesn't have enough new resources from her recent / new movies at that time .
