Phases of the Moon (2022)
Kasumi Arimura (the lady who played Tomoe in Rurouni Kenshin live-action) and Ren Meguro (the guy who played Kiyoka in My Happy Marriage live action) stars in this romantic J-drama movie.
I gotta go watch it because they played my favorite characters in the anime/manga universe!
“You have to come back to me,” she said hollowly, tears falling freely to land with gentle taps on Kenichi’s sling.
She could not bear the loss of a second love. It would kill her; she knew it.
“I will always come back to you,” he murmured. “So long as I’m able, I will always come back to you.”
Art for @frostyemma’s beautiful fic Two Roads Diverged
Omg it’s Zoro!!! Lookkkkkk. It’s him! It took until seeing him stand like that (assuming that I’m right) to realize which is hilarious to me.
(If I’m wrong, let me live in my delusions)
I really, really, really hope that One Piece gets whoever the fuck directed these fights because ❗️❗️❗️ It’s everything bro, I didn’t KNOW they could be this epic in live action!!! And I hope Zoro and Sanji get to have as epic buddy-ups as Kenshin and (insert green haired guy’s name, idk the source material)!
Gah! I’ve only seen this movie and RK: the Beginning and damnnnnnnn, it’s cool—the fight scenes!!
(Don’t @ me about LA adaptions, all I know about either of these works is the LA.)
Edit:
I’m right 😸😸😸
I thought I might’ve had a dumbass moment because RK is done in Japanese (I’m watching dubbed) and OP in English, but we love a multifaceted actor who cares deeply about the character he portrays🫡👏🏻👏🏻
Edit 2: yknow what, he deserves to be able to go Enishi-batshit on someone in One Piece, as a treat🫶🏻 I think I have a new fave actor
