savannah update;

now comes at a good time to let you all know that i’ll be on a small semi-hiatus. though i will still be around, my blog will solely run on a queue. my grandma has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer and we know that the end is coming soon. she has lasted two weeks longer than we’ve all expected so we know it’s going to happen relatively near. because im spending time with her and my family, it means my time online is limited.

like i say, i wont not be here, i’ll still be reading fics and interacting with comments etc; i’ll just be around a little less! thank you all for understanding.

SEMI-HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT

So, I have been doing some thinking. I have been doing roleplaying for over ten years, and over time, I have been feeling a certain fatigue of the roleplaying process.

Several factors have come up that have made me decide not to really do roleplaying anymore, or at least, not to the same degree I use to. This goes for all my other blogs: @defectedrockstar @emerald-might @bloodyshards

1. People I Associate With

Sometimes, when it comes to story making, I don't always like what is on the table. Whether it be the plotting, their reply, or where they want to get to their end goal faster and not give proper development. This can range from shipping that feels forced, people not paying attention to past replies and do something that contradicts the intent, or just not bringing anything interesting to me.

Don't get me wrong, it's just a matter of chemistry between writers. I'm not perfect, and this alone wouldn't be enough to make me want to go on this hiatus.

2. Too Many RPs

I'll be honest, I spread myself too thin. I roleplay on Discord with servers, I roleplay four different blogs on this site, and all of them have several and several stories I haven't finished. I worked myself to death with this, and I have myself to blame. I made this too much of a chore, and it doesn't help that not all of the RPs I do are winners.

3. No Communities/Blogs I Want

There are times when I am motivated for a specific kind of story with a certain genre. Much like everyone, we have our own interests, and sometimes, you want to do something else after you have done a genre for a while. But, what do you do when you can't find a community with similar interests, or a blog with a certain character, or at worst, they flat out reject you? I felt I couldn't do a lot of the stories I wanted to, and the roleplay community hasn't really done much for me recently.

I started roleplaying because it was the only way I could be creative, express myself, inspire others, and put out to the world. That was when I was a teenager. Now? I'm older, experienced a lot, and have found other things to express myself. I'm getting into pixel art, I commissioned 3D models of my OCs to use in projects, I'm working on recording videos and streaming, and doing D&D. I found more fulfilling things to do. It saddens me a little, as it also feels I am saying goodbye to a part of myself. But, my wife said it doesn't have to be goodbye or sad. Hence this being a semi-hiatus, because who knows when I will get a new perspective and come back better?

I'm hope you all take care of yourselves and stay strong during this new year. And thank you.

Semi-Hiatus

Taking a break from online stuff. Not sure when I’ll be feelin’ much like bein’ here again. Just got a lot goin’ on and my head’s too cluttered with real life stuff. Haven’t been up for much interactions.

It’s kinda funny. I used to be so extroverted. Now?… I’d give anything to live off the grid and just be a hermit in a cabin somewhere. Go exist with animals and nature and just… be. Take care and stay safe. Much love to all y’all.

Hello! I will be taking a break from social media in June. I'm on holiday for the rest of the month, which will involve lots of travelling and very little time online.

And happy pride month! I will be back with some fem/slash doodles <3

P.S. If you have a particular wlw/mlm couple you would like to see, I'll be taking few requests (sfw, naruto only) to occupy myself on flights/trains.

another mini-update!

i'm (mostly) all moved in my new place! i don't have wifi at home tho for the next week so i will continue to be nonexistant for a while :') also there is a LOT going on in my personal life (both good and bad) so i doubt i'll be writing much this month, and i COMPLETELY forgot to make a writing update for august. i'll just do a double feature at the end of the month.

I've been thinking about going into a semi-hiatus for a few days now. The dash has been more stressful than anything else for me, and the RPC in general too. So I'm taking a semi-hiatus. What does that mean? Well, I will still write drafts and run the queue, (though it might run slowly). I'm not dropping anything! But I will steer clear of the dash, so if I'm particularly inactive when it comes to liking posts, starting new interactions, or sending stuff, that's why. It won't affect things that much as I will keep writing replies and queuing them, but I still wanted to put it out there. If you follow my main (which is just a place for fandom stuff and memes), you might see me more active there. But I need a little break from the RPC right now.

Semi-Hiatus Anouncement

The short of the matter is I’m going to go on a lil semi-hiatus until 3rd September! My IMs & Discord (for those who have it) is going to be open for plotting/discussing etc. but posts, especially replies, are going to be very limited. My ask box will be closed until I am back, too, since I don’t want to accumulate more asks than I already have (these are delayed by default, sorry!!!).

If anyone cares to know why, it’s because I’m returning to university which means shifting houses and retruning abroad. The whole procedure has me super busy which is why I haven’t been able to keep up with anything. My queue has emptied itself and, honestly, I don’t have the time to fill it back up until I’m a bit more settled.

I may be able to do some replies/add to my queue while I wait at the airport later this week or in-flight, but I’m not going to promise anything! All I can keep up with is IMs/Discord texting. 

I will try to trim some replies down so I can write on mobile if I get the chance but just be aware that this period is extremely busy for me and I do want things to settle before classes start up!
