6. Which artists inspire you right now?

I think for a while I've been really into romanticism as a whole, and especially the pre-raphaelites -- something about those works just speak straight to my soul and also I just wish i could paint like that.

7. Favourite works of all time excluding your own?

I know I'll forget some for sure so jkewhgkwe I'll say the first that pop to mind. I'll also do some different categories because why not.

Le Rakugo ou la Vie (French version) / Descending Stories (English version) (昭和元禄落語心中, Shōwa Genroku rakugo shinjū) by Kumota Haruko (story and art).

Been reading this thanks to Meenoo (Merciii, mon chaaat!) who has made me discover the Japanese Anime (though I never managed to see the end) and Lia-chan (Merciiii! Faut que je te les fasse lire aussi la prochaine fois que tu es là!) who got me the first two volumes in paper… (In the French edition, it’s like the first four Japenese volumes.) For now, I’m having a blast.

If you want to discover a Japanese traditional art form of storytelling  and love compelling relationships between flawed but endearing characters, this is for you… Plus the art is wonderful, with very clean and alluring lines and very funny facial and body expressions…

Apparently letrucquifaitdubruit approves of the very nice French volumes.
