Singing the blues -closed

Bruno always loved singing. As far back as he can remember it was one of his favorite things to do. He used to sing to his sisters to cheer them up or when they had nightmares. He'd even sing to himself to calm down after stressful visions. He even took piano lessons in school which proved to be incredibly useful once he had to move out. most of his first jobs were singing at dive bars, He didn't mind it at all. He didn't have to talk to anyone, and No one bothered him, Its why he still picked up a shift every now and then to blow off some steam. Bruno's fingers danced across the piano keys effortlessly as he sang

"It's quarter to three, there's no one in the place except you and me So, set 'em up, Joe, I got a little story I think you should know We're drinkin', my friend, to the end of a brief episode Make it one for my baby and one more for the road" He was always a sucker for American blues songs. There was something so cathartic about crooning and wailing about your problems in such a catchy tone. Occasionally, a stranger would walk up and throw a tip on top of the piano and walk away. He give them a small nod of thanks and kept singing before he knew he was wrapping up the song.

"Well, that's how it goes and Joe I know you're gettin' anxious to close So, thanks for the cheer, I hope you didn't mind my bendin' your ear But this torch that I found must be drowned or it soon might explode So, make it one for my baby and one more for the road"

He did his best to ignore the small round of applause still uncomfortable with that aspect. He chose to count his small pile of tips instead. He was so focused he didn't even notice the stranger approach him. @straythisway
