Almost every single story I write or world I build is about non-humans in an apocalypse or post-apocalypse setting. Even the clown story. (Though in the clownverse, nobody cares that the world ended. They're just carrying on as usual. Because that's funny.)

#the exception is the story about the fundamentalist pigs #the pigs are literal pigs there. like they have snouts and sniff for truffles and the like #that's mostly comparable to a the village (2004) situation

i got into this in the first place because of angel and fat nuggets and im gonna continue to fixate on angel because LOOK. ANTHONY AND FAT NUGGETS??? they went through so much together. he may be anthony's pet but he knows so much, he's seen so much, lived through too much, he reads people so well, he knows anthony so well. if nuggets doesn't like your vibe, anthony's gonna reevaluate. sometimes. usually. well, he's def not letting u around his baby anymore if nuggets doesn't like ur vibe, that's for sure.

anthony getting fat nuggets as a gift from valentino stings, too. like it makes sense, i had that thought before - but that could also go way deeper, too. that history. i kinda had mini stories in mind of other ways anthony could've gotten fat nuggets. we could've gotten him from cherri, if you wanna have a wholesome story. anthony could've also gotten fat nuggets through adoption bc his discomfort around valentino pushed him to look for comfort in something else other than substance abuse (like he was trying to break his habits at the time - maybe it was a firm requirement at first for the hotel before anthony made his escape to go there so he was trying his best to start strong so he can get himself and nuggets to a safer place), something he can give his love to and it be returned. a mutual affection without any strings attached.

even though fat nuggets comes from a pretty bitter chapter of his past, he's like... the one thing val gave him that anthony absolutely can't go without. even if val probably used fat nuggets as leverage to do shit, anthony bent backwards and jumped through rings of fire for nuggets and sucked so many d*cks to get his babe back. i won't hear anything else. that little ball of chub is his baby. his anchor. fat nuggets saw so much, too. he's like anthony's little radar for extra shitty people (sometimes it cant be helped but) anthony raised him and everything, bro. valentino got to watch anthony do all the raising n shit, too. he knows nuggets is important to him. bastard. there was a period where anthony brought fat nuggets EVERYWHERE with him bc valentino took him away once and anthony won't give that chance again sobs which would explain why fat nuggets is so chill - he's been socialized so much which adds weight for if fat nuggets doesn't like someone.
