Tatsumi, opening a fortune cookie: If you kill a murderer, the amount of murderers stay the same.
Gai: Not if you kill two.
Kakashi: But what if you already are a murderer?
Mirai: Maybe we should just kill three, just to make sure.
Tatsumi: Wtf-

I hope we get a release date for Konoha Shinden soon! I’m hyped!
I wanted to make a loose-feeling doodle of my favorite four-man squad! But this idea turned out so cute I should come back and clean it up later!

Fandom: Naruto
Rating: G
Pairing: Sarutobi Mirai/Tatsumi (Naruto) ; Hatake Kakashi/Maito Gai | Might Guy
Summary:
Tatsumi puts some relationship advice from Guy to use.
Chapter Excerpt:
Tatsumi fidgeted and laughed self-consciously, glancing back at the door a few times. She took a deep breath and looked Mirai in the eyes, renewed the courage and vigor she had run into the room with. “Fight me!” she exclaimed.
Mirai blinked. Kakashi choked on air behind her in what almost sounded like a laugh. “Fight you?”
Tatsumi grinned and nodded. She rocked back and forth on her heels, clearly in a playful mood. “I challenge you to a fight, Mirai-san!”

Gai helping Kakashi live in the present and look to the future instead of falling into his old, life-long bad habit of dwelling on things in the past that he’ll never be able to change and letting that stop him from ever even acknowledging a future.
It’s what makes Kakashi and Gai the perfect supporting cast for Mirai, who’s having to learn the same lesson herself.
Mirai learns it partly from Gai and Kakashi, who she learns to stop seeing just as living legends from a grand, exciting past she’ll never get to see.
And also from Tatsumi, the same way Kakashi and Gai learned it from each other.
Mirai and Tatsumi both inspire each other to move forward and not be so stuck in their pasts and the things they can’t change and get back.

On second thought, I'll go, too. It's dangerous for you to go alone... I'd be worried.

Headcanon that even though Tatsumi said "I really like you Mirai!" it went over Mirai's head like Hinata's confession to Naruto, so later Mirai is talking to Kakashi and mentioned Tatsumi liking her and thinking it's the same as Mirai's love of weaponry or something. And Kakashi just sighs like "You... remind me so much of Naruto." And Mirai happily answers "I'm like Lord Seventh? How? :D" Meanwhile Tatsumi is going to Gai for advice on how to be more obvious about it.
Kakashi just be like 'don't make me deal with this shit all over again. It was hard enough when it was naruto'
Meanwhile Gai has personal first hand experience with oblivious dumbdumbs who don't understand a proclamation of love (even if Kakashi does venimously deny that he's an oblivious dumb dum) and he has ALL the pointers for Tastsumi included but not limited to 'just kiss the dumbdumb'
