i finally got around to centaurworld's finale and holy fucking shit??? they can go that hard??

#god i cannot put into words just how fantastic that finale was #it just makes me so... disappointed that the rest of s2 was so boring #like i had to rewatch s1 when it came out before i could actually appreciate it because its so far from my kind of thing #BUT THE FINALE FELT LIKE IT WAS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SHOW? And it was RLLY GOOD #that last episode practically carried this season holy fuck. #the nowhere king is such an amazing villain and i am just so confused . #i wishhh s2 focused more on picturing the past for us and answering s1 questions and maybe even developing characters like the princess #(where did she even go actually i didnt see her in that last scene) #because i still have questions about some things but they come from a place of pure interest in the world only because of this last episode #girl i dont know how to word this at all. i feel like we couldve had something great #anyway s1 is fun as an introduction to the show s2 is boring because i expected more answers about the past and im not #as interested in the centaurs anymore but i liked the main casts backstories i guess and the finale was pretty amazing all around #this show just keeps bouncing around for me lol. also it feels like the cast had so much fun with it. i wouldve too! love that

I think this really shows how little weight Fred's character held in his mind. He said he cried like a baby writing the script for this episode, but let's remember two things: the whole episode, Fred barely has any presence in her own damn death episode. The entire runtime we see drawn out segments of male pain and how hurt they are. This episode should've been about Fred, and it wasn’t.

"I cried man tears when I wrote it, and when I filmed it and when I edited it...it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever filmed."

And the second thing: he would never do this to a main male character. Taking a fully fleshed character that he spent years putting his heart into, just to kill him and keep his actor to play the opposite of what he was? Absolutely not. He would never. Because those characters hold weight to him, he may have made himself sad killing her but her character journey and arc and presence probably meant nothing to him. Just like Cordelia, Fred was always going to be expendable regardless of how well written she was. He gave us a self-indulgent, weirdly voyeuristic slideshow of dudes punching holes in walls and crying, and he really thinks it was one of the most beautiful things he'd ever written.

i just finished watching maleficent. it was great

#I LIKED IT ACTUALLY #casting was great #i loved maleficent's and aurora's contrasting features #the special effects and camera work were amazing #some lines could have been delivered better but eh #glad they renamed the good fairies because those were NOT the flora fauna and merryweather i know and love #diaval was so funny i rlly liked him #i thought philip was funny too but mostly because he didn't do shit the entire movie #he literally showed up for the sake of not doing anything. that is peak hilarity #overall i give it a 8/10 #thiha thinks thoughts

This interview and photoshoot of Joey are both so lovely. It’s nice to have a glimpse into the thought process behind the music they put out, and how he spends his time when he’s not witchering around! The only con to reading this is that every time I learn more about this man, I just fall deeper into the pit of being obnoxiously in love with him, which is not great for attempting to be a functioning normal human being.
