Iconic!! I was like, ten when it came out too so I think I was just the perfect age for it. It's been a minute since I watched it though, so this may just prompt a rewatch, haha.

Ice Princess

What a who's-who of early 00s tv actresses! I vaguely remember seeing this one in the video store, but never got around to watching it. I do have a soft spot for ice skating movies though, so I might see if I can find it.

Remember the Titans

This has genuinely been on my to-watch list forever. It's so formative to teen sports movies that came after it! I know that! Yet somehow I never actually got around to watching it. I'm drafting up the Feb @scavenger-cinephile challenge right now, so maybe I'll add sports movies to the list to get myself to watch it, haha.

Lady Bird

This one was a bit overhyped for me by the time I got around to watching it, but I did still enjoy it. I find Saoirse Ronan endlessly watchable, and she had wonderful familial chemistry with Laurie Metcalf, so that really worked for me.

I have the vaguest memory of watching this on the Disney Channel as a kid, but honestly don't remember all that much else about it.

Wild that this did not spawn a million roller-derby movies! Also how did this not launch Drew Barrymore's directing career? She did a really good job!

Another one that I think was overhyped for me by the time I finally got around to watching it? I had a lot of fun with it, but I also thought it was kind of a mess, haha.

to preface i do not dream of live action comic adaptations i think all comic adaptations should either not exist or be animated... but if i had to do an x-men movie, i would choose the '92 rooster since it's so iconic.

the idea of dev patel cyclops is SOOOOOO. he's got that lanky awkward boy swag AND the capacity of telling someone to go fuck themselves....

after watching severance i could really see britt lower play jean... she's got such an emotional range i love her.

I've seen deborah ayorinde as storm a lot, and i remember her performance in Luke Cage which i really liked!

i have no idea who should play Logan. i think he should be cgi no real man should be allowed to play him. not after Hugh Jackman... maybe aidan turner with the way he looked in the city of bones movie? they can cgi him to be 5'3.
