Zane from Ninjago is not a robot. He has never been a robot, and should never become a robot. Nothing against robots, but he has been a human for 10+ years. We all grew up with Zane and why would we let them change him for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character that is a robot, not rewrite one of the best Lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you agree Zane should stay a human. So I’ve seen some discussion over whether Zane acting so robotic is inconsistent writing, or if the writers have an actual arc addressing this planned out. I can’t say anything for certain, but I do want to point out that in Wyldly Inappropriate, Zane’s B-plot was about him entering a Zane impersonator contest, only to place in dead last. And yeah haha funny reference to Charlie Chaplin but then we get a surprisingly serious moment in which Zane has an existential crisis over the possibility that he’s changed beyond recognition over the years, to the point where Gulch can’t even recognize him, and the Ice Emperor’s theme is playing while this happens. So who knows…
