history in retrograde
~aka I try my hand at smut (!)~  read on a03
I'm totally out of my comfort zone here so uhhh...if this isn't the most embarrassing thing you've ever read, let me know! Also I know the title doesn't really make sense but I thought it sounded cool...if history is the past, and retrograde means going backwards, does history in retrograde mean moving forward? That's my thinking.

Scully is surprised to learn she's not the only one Mulder has pinned to the basement desk. Rated M, 1.5k. Set in season 7.
Her breath catches as he thrusts into her, her petite form shifting like a boat at the ocean’s mercy. She throws her head back in ecstasy. Her gaze catches the pencils stuck in the ceiling, noting that they form a mirror of her and her partner’s current position. How ironic.
His hands envelop her exposed collarbone, pinning her to the desk she once resented him for having. That day seems like something that must have occurred in a dream, so distant from her current self that it can’t possibly have been real. She had been angry at him then. Thinking of leaving. Now he is one with her, and she doesn’t ever want to leave.
She started this. One day she wanted him inside her, and she didn’t want to wait until they were in her car, or on his couch, or in whoever’s bed they sought refuge in that night. A purely selfish motive, yet they both reaped the benefits. And after that first time, they’d be crazy not to do it again.
Location aside, their office jaunts are a bit different than how they usually do it--though, thankfully, it has the same ending. When they are alone--alone alone, without the arousing threat of someone walking in on their little deviation from investigation--Scully unleashes. Her role as the long-suffering woman in a patriarchal sector is swapped for one a little more...dominant, and Mulder enjoys being at her behest.
But in the office, she gives herself over to him. Her want is so overpowering that it needs to be smothered before the flame sets everything around her alight.
And now he’s got her shirt unbuttoned down to her belly button, his lips switching eagerly between the plush where her breasts curve over her bra (black lace--she must have known what was in store when she got dressed this morning) and the metal ring in her navel. She’s had it since she was eighteen, but only started wearing it again because Mulder’s eyes popped out of his head the one night she put it in on a whim.
He kisses a path from her navel to her sternum, pulling the straps of her bra off her shoulders and locking his mouth around her pert left nipple. Her heartbeat pulses against his nose.
“Mulder…” she writhes under him, trying to maintain her dignity for as long as possible. Her fingernails scratch through his button-up.
“C’mon baby, cum for me,” he murmurs into her skin. “I want the whole building to hear you, I want them to know how good I make you feel.”
He never gets to be this cocky when she’s in control, so he takes advantage of it while he can. He takes one hand off her collarbone to wrap her legs around his hips. The friction between them is almost unbearable.
He pulls his hips back, nearly exiting her entirely, then rolls forward in a smooth motion. Scully lets out a shriek, her hand flying to her mouth to muffle the sound. Before it can make it, Mulder grabs her wrist.
“No, no, no,” he taunts, pinning that wrist above her head, still thrusting into her. “And don’t even try the other hand, or it’ll go there too.”
She careens her fingernails into his back in protest. He chuckles and catches her bottom lip between his, sucking on it like he’s got to remove poison to save her life. She moans into his mouth.
He rubs circles over her left areola with his free thumb. Her moaning intensifies. “Mulder...please…” she gasps as they come up for air.
He moves to the right areola. “Here?”
She trembles beneath him. He knows exactly what she wants but he’s too caught up to give it away so quickly.
“Here?” He says, rubbing circles over her navel. She bites down on his bottom lip to shut him up.
He drags his finger down, down, down, until he’s between her legs. He swipes her clit, and she bucks up into him, whimpering.
“Oh, there?” he teases, nuzzling her neck. He continues massaging circles over her, and he feels her muscles tense beneath him.
“Oh, fuck…” she breathes. He lets go of her wrist, and it joins the other on his back. She claws into him, her entire being shrinking around him…
He sucks in a breath as it hits, the sensation reverberating between them and making it impossible to distinguish their orgasms from each other.
“Fuck! Fox! Fuck!” Scully screams in spite of herself. Mulder keeps her pressed to him so she can feel his every crest. She squeaks and whimpers as she rides out their bliss. For once, she’s glad they’re sequestered in the basement.
When it’s over (somehow time froze and sped up all in one), Mulder slides out of her and rolls onto his back. He watches as her chest rises and falls, and god, he’s never loved a woman or a moment so much.
He zips up as she, still lying flat against the desk, begins to button her shirt.
“Working hard, or hardly working?” he quips, waiting for his breath to catch back up with him.
Scully sputters out a laugh and rolls onto her side, her lips caressing his. She squeezes his hand. “Thank you.”
He chuckles. “The pleasure is all mine.”
“I’m imagining a crystal ball showing me that the first time I walked into this room,” Scully giggles.
“You wouldn’t have believed it?”
“I wouldn’t have wanted to.”
“Well, all it took was seven years of my gentlemanly courting…”
“...and here we are,” Scully finishes with a smile.
She’s quiet for a moment, then she sits up, prompting Mulder to follow. “Could you have imagined that?” she asks coyly, swinging her legs.
“That I’d be fucking you senseless on my desk in seven years?”
Scully makes a face. “Yeah.”
“I mean, I wouldn’t say that I saw it coming, but nothing’s ever out of the realm of extreme possibility…” he says with a goofy smirk.
Scully straightens out her skirt. She’s taken to wearing one to the office these days, it makes such exchanges go a lot smoother.
“Had you ever fantasized about it?” she asks, the flirtatious glimmer still in her eyes.
“About you, or doing it on the desk?”
“Both.”
“Well, yes, but I tended not to dwell on the desk so much. That was always more of Diana’s thing.”
Scully looks at him with a start. “You and Diana?...On the desk?”
“It wasn’t a frequent thing like with us. I think we did it maybe once or twice.” And then, with a smirk--”She wasn’t as insatiable as you.”
Scully frowns, and he taps her playfully, relieving her woes. “I’m just kidding. She was notoriously hard to please. And I didn’t find table-surfing very sexy then. It was actually more of a chore. Always her idea.”
“Well, this was my idea too.”
He looks at her with dopey eyes. “Scully, I’ve been ready to take you anywhere anytime since I realized you’ll have me.”
“But do you not like it?” she asks, concern growing in her voice. She tugs at her clothes self-consciously.
He kisses her temple. “Oh, it was so hot. So good. I should be thanking you for even laying eyes on me.”
She gazes at him with a half-smile, not quite convinced. He rests his chin on her shoulder. “Do you have any idea what a middle finger it is to everyone who's ever called me Spooky when you scream my name and it echoes off the walls of this office?”
“Well, now that I know I’m not the first…”
“But you are the last,” he assures her. “And you know what?” he says with a mischievous grin. “I’ve never echoed anyone’s name off the walls of this office.”
Now he’s got her attention. “Really?”
He nods. “Some people don’t give a damn about reciprocity,” he growls, throwing shade where it’s warranted.
“But I do,” Scully coos.
“I know you do,” he swoons. His lips meet her neck with a vengeance. He wants his presence to be known to all.
She basks in it for a moment, then--remembering herself--places a hand on his chest and leans away. “Good things come to those who wait,” she says cryptically.
She hops off the desk and turns back to him with a fiery glare. “Tomorrow I’m going to bend you over that desk until you forget your own name and it’s all you can do to scream mine over and over,” she purrs.
He licks his lips. “A friend of mine once said ‘eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we may die.’”
She smirks. “That friend isn’t exactly following the advice of the Bible at the moment.”
“I’ve noticed.”
She sneaks over to him and stands on her tip-toes to meet his lips. He grasps her waist and breathes her in. “I love you, Daaannna.” He drags it out in a sappy way.
Scully smiles up at him. “Love you too.” She sighs. “I mean, I love you, Fox.”
Their eyes meet, creating new universes. And so it shall be.

And neither of them really want to go back.. Cue a surprise announcement from Avaleigh/christmas surprise. Total AU deviation from Legends Of Tomrrow and you’ll see why. I paced the bathroom, every now and then glancing back at the pregnancy test sitting on the counter in a cup. Pacing wasn’t doing anything to help matters, but it was keeping me from exploding in anxiety and excitement, both of which I was feeling a mix of currently. I’d just sank down to sit on the edge of the bath tub when my timer went off and I was springing back up again.
I reached out, grabbing the stick.
Blinking a time or two when I saw the two lines formed. And then, biting my lip and pacing a little more, because a family was not exactly something Ray and I had discussed outright.
Oh, I knew he wanted one. And deep down, I knew if I were going to start one, it’d be with him.
I took a few deep breaths and caught sight of myself in the mirror, a soft smile settling on my face as I turned to the side, trying to see if I could detect a bump yet. I couldn’t, but to be fair, it was still pretty early and every woman carried pregnancy differently.
“Wow. Okay. I.. Need to breathe.” I mumbled quietly, the shock settled in for the time being. But when it wore off, I realized that I needed to tell Ray as soon as possible. Because this was too big to keep.
But it was so big that I wanted to do it in a special way. A smile came as the perfect plan formed. And grabbing my coat and purse, I hurried out to get the things I’d need.
XXX
“How long until I can take off this blindfold, princess?” Ray muttered as I lead him into the dining room, pulling out a chair and gently pushing him down into it. I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself.
“I know we said no presents..” I started. Ray butted in, “Actually, sweetheart… while we’re on that.. I kind of… got you one too..”
“Ray!” I tapped my foot, laughing impatiently and he chuckled. “Sorry, go ahead, princess.”
“I know we said no presents, but… I really hope you’ll like this one.” I started as I placed the watch box with the pregnancy test inside on the table in front of him.
The scent of gingerbread cookies wafted in from the kitchen and my stomach growled at me, demanding food. “Give me just a second.” I hurried into the kitchen just off the dining room and came back with the plate of cookies and a glass of milk. Then I gently raised the blindfold I’d tied over his eyes and he chuckled, eyeing the wrapped box.
“Princess, you didn’t have to..”
“It’s not what you think it is, baby. Just trust me. Open it.” I smiled and nodded to the wrapped box, taking a bite of the gingerbread cookie and lowering myself into the chair. Ray eyed the box and chuckled, shrugging his shoulders.
He tore the wrapping paper away carefully and it felt like it took forever, but he finally pried the top off the box. And when he did, his jaw dropped.
I felt my stomach fluttering nervously and I cleared my throat. “Ray..”
“Wait… You’re.. I’m..” Ray was rambling, excited, with that big grin coming easily. He stood and stepped over to my chair, pulling me up out of it, straight into a hug and a slow and deep kiss as his hands wandered down, one of them resting over my stomach.
“I’m scheduled to go in and get a real test at the hospital in the morning, but that’s the seventh one I’ve taken.. I’m pretty sure we both know the odds are in our favor.” I muttered gently as the kiss broke, resting my thumb against his bottom lip. He chuckled, nodding as he leaned down a little, resting his forehead against mine.
“Sit down.. Sit down and close your eyes.” Ray muttered quietly, reaching out to grab himself a gingerbread cookie before stepping away, waiting in the doorway of the dining room until I’d done as he asked, taken a seat again and closed my eyes.
“Ray, you don’t have to.. You can wait.”
He called back into the room, “Actually, no. I don’t want to. I’ve waited long enough already, considering I’ve kind of been holding onto this for almost two years now..”
I bit my lip, my heart racing a little.
I heard him walking back into the dining room and I took a few deep breaths. Ray went down on one knee and before he could even get the question out, I was tearing up and smiling, answering with a nod of my head and saying “Yes.” over and over again, making Ray laugh and remind me in a patient tone, “Are you gonna let me actually ask the question, Avaleigh?”
“Yeah, yeah. Go ahead.”
“Avaleigh Benson… will you marry me?”
“Yes. A thousand times yes. In any lifetime, decade or version of reality.” I smiled as I held out my hand, letting him slip the engagement ring onto my ring finger, wiping at my eyes as I grumbled about hormones and crying, making him laugh as he stood and pulled me up out of the chair and completely against him, wrapping his arms around me.
“I love you, princess.”
“I love you too, doctor.” I muttered, raising to tiptoe, stealing a kiss.

Helloo Just read your Modern Au zelink where link is zeldas bodyguard and boiii is so sexy. Could you write more about this fic?? Like how Link and Zelda started their affair??
UHHH YEAH! I love that AU too. I’ll write a little prequel that I’m sure will end up being so much longer than intended.
Okay, so I made it much longer than intended. You asked where they started and this is it! It’s not M rated yet because their romance sparks a little more innocently before there’s a real fire.
I’m saying there’s a sequel to the prequel lmao.
If you want to read: The Queen and Her Bodyguard
It started with her most dreadful day of the year.
“My Queen! Your signature is required for the balloons.”
She feigned a polite smile.
“Your Majesty, please consider these final touches. It’s imperativethat the kitchen runs infallibly.”
“Queen Zelda, the press needs a statement regarding-”
Her cheeks held a pain only people who have been faking smilesall day could own. Hands massaged her jaw in a way that said, “Rest now, itwill surely be worse tomorrow.” With the weight of her head sinking down heavieronto her hands, the base of her elbows grew sore from biting into the mahogany desk.Vaguely she could hear Impa rattling off the press releases for this evening andtomorrow morning, but her eyes kept drawing to the corner of the room –continuously finding it empty. The idea of pulling off a disappearing act soundedmore and more handsome by the hour, although her fingers found the weighted penwaiting idly by her side and scribbled down shorthanded notes.
Impa was smiling in that motherly way of hers as she set downa copy of papers and a tumbler of hot tea. “If any of my words found their way toyou, then we are better off tomorrow than I thought.”
“What a relief.”
The woman bid her goodnight and left the door open as she spokehushed words to someone outside. They didn’t reach the queen and she didn’t care. The papers towering on her desk could may as well be an assassination attemptat this point. Without thinking, she grabbed the tumbler and took a sip of thetea inside, promptly burning her tongue. A sound that was between a his and acurse cut through.
“Are you alright, Your Majesty?” a voice came from the headof the room, leaving her to look up with panic.
Much to her relief, it wasn’t another advisor nor Impa. Linkstood at the door and closed it with hesitation. She nodded at his concern, helda hand to her mouth and held up the tumbler with the other for emphasis. “Yes,thank you,” she finally said, albeit numbly.
Zelda sank evermore into her hands and poured over the documentsfor some sense of organization. Daylight had long died in Castle Town, but thatdid not stop the nightlife that followed. Hylians found any excuse to party andthe eve of their queen’s birthday was far from an exception. There was plentyof sounds outside that drew her away from focusing.
“It’s just one thing after another today, isn’t it?” shemurmured to herself, looking up at her bodyguard who was taking turns about theroom. He hummed in agreement as he looked at the trinkets he has seen a thousandtimes before. Relenting to her distractions, she looked from her pile of papers,“How was the security briefing? I’m sorry I couldn’t be there.”
Tiredness had sunk into her words and along with it her bodyto the chair. It caught his attention. She could pretend everything was fine, that the late hours these last two weeks weren’t affecting her. It was somethingshe was good at, but even her best fronts were saw through by him. Link pulledaway from a picture from a charity event a year ago and caught his worn old notebookbetween the crook of his arm and his elbow. Inside it were her own plans for theweek alongside his, but he rarely deviated from her own.
He shrugged, shoving his hands into the pockets of his graydress pants. “It went smoothly. Everything is accounted for,” he offered a weaksmile, “Most of it technicalities you shouldn’t need to worry about.”
It made her roll her eyes. They both knew it was a five-hourmeeting discussing all possible security threats to herself and any of the nobility. He headed it himself, going over all sectors of defense and assuring protocolswere being adhered to. As he stepped closer, she could see the circles underhis eyes had darkened.
Zelda felt guilty.
“Have you considered my offer for the Gala?” she questioned, wondering if that suit were one she’s seen before. Drawing in the warmth of hertumbler and her knees into the seat, the woman attempted to look innocent.
He pursed his lips, looking from her to the window behind her.“Yes, and my answer is the same,” he paused on her curled form. Sleep deprivationsurely did not stifle the shocking blue of his eyes. Somehow without shame, itmade her want him to look at him more. He took another step across the room, fingers trailing the surface of her desk as he peered over, “Are those sweatpants?”
Like a gunshot, she dropped her legs from the chair and aflush crept up her neck, “Tell no one!”
Intrigue forced his lips to quirk upward as he rounded the desk,“Did you stuff them in your briefcase? What would Lady Impa think?”
“Yes, and she’llnever have to think because she won’t know,” she said indignantly up at him, “I’min this damned office all day. It makes no difference!” Although, changing underthe desk midday was a bit of a feat.
He snorted and she sat straighter, bracing the side of thechair to speak demandingly. “What if I double your pay? Come on, Link. I’masking you not to come to work!”
At this, the man grasped the back of her chair and smiledlazily down at her, “What kind of lousy bodyguard isn’t there during his charge’sbusiest days in public? Not to mention being a horrible friend for missing yourbirthday.”
It didn’t matter how valid his points were, she glowered atthe man. “You look exhausted.”
“And you,” he pulled the chair out despite her protests, “looklike you’re about to fall asleep.”
“I’m fine!”
“You almost started crying because you burned your tongue.”
“But-!”
Link reached around her for her tumbler and briefcase, stopping only to look her in the eyes, “Zelda, please. For your own wellbeing.”His face was stern and made her look away. Zelda stiffly nodded and followed himto the door where she took the lead. Her guard rarely said her name like that. Asthey began the long walk to the east wing, she turned slightly.
“Would you stay home if I threw in-”
“No,” he said before remembering where they were beforeadding, “Your Grace.”
She knew he was only worried, but that didn’t stop her fromdrawing her arms to her chest and feeling like a fool for arguing. “You know,”she started, “I wish you’d say my name more.”
He did his habitual scan of the halls and came to her with alook of confusion, “What do you mean?”
Their usual walk of comfortable silence felt tainted. “Youonly say it like that when you want me to do something,” Zelda frowned. She wasused to people using her for things. Only developing relationships for personalgain, and although she knew it wasn’t Link’s intention… it did bother her.
Link didn’t respond right away. He fell in behind her stepsas he usually did and it only churned the anxiety in her stomach. Nothing butone thing could go wrong tomorrow. The queen had three speeches prepared and theentire guest list in her back pocket.
“You’re not telling me something, are you?” he said it more like a statement than a question. They were coming upon her quarters now. Zelda thought about going through those doors and leavinghim without his answers. Instead, she stopped and turned to find him carefullywatching her.
“I have reason… to believe thatPrince Harrington will propose at the Gala,” the words spoken aloud made her nauseous. The only other person who had an inkling of what was going on was Impa, who wasalready writing up press statements for every possible scenario. Lady Midna hadcalled her last night to warn her and Zelda knew her sources were credible.
Link was carefully trying to readher. They’ve had many conversations about the man, mostly about his annoyinghabit of letting the media know his whereabouts whenever he visited the castle. He had proposed before in private and every time she let him down gently. But hewas also amongst her most viable suitors and a marriage like that would be verystrategic for Hyrule.
“Are you ready for something likethat?” his voice was calm, which differed greatly to her amassed concerns. Linkwatched her hand tighten around the other.
“It’s not the most ideal birthdaypresent,” Zelda tried to laugh.
He took her hand in his to stop itfrom prying the other off her wrist. The days felt like they were getting longerand summer brought along its own complications. They both knew that if she didget married there was no telling how different things would be. Zelda didn’tlike the thought of Link leaving her side and she entertained the thought thathe felt the same.
She stared down at their shoes, findinghim closer than she previously realized. Zelda wore fuzzy black slippers and hewore dark leather dress shoes.
He cracked into a smile, “How didI miss the slippers?”
“I have a charming disposition,”she jested, putting her hand on the door handle. “It’s distracting.”
“You do,” Link said in a tonethat drew her in all over again. “Makes it rather difficult to do my job.”
She smiled and felt her cheeksgrow warm.
“You deserve to be happy,” he suddenlyasserted, turning her hand over in his.
She expected him to pull away andleave her with a goodnight, but he didn’t. They stood together and she didn’t wantto leave quite yet. “I want you to be happy, Zelda,” Link’s grasp on her tightenedjust so she would notice. His eyes were gentle and genuine as he looked at her.If she weren’t what she was born into, she would let herself fall into that bluecolor. If that were true, she would give into whatever she was feeling rightnow and ask him to run away with her. If that were right, she would let him makeher happy.
But it wasn’t.
Even so, she let him pull herinto a hug. His arms encircled her and she met the collar of his gray jacket. Hesmelled like the musky scent of his cologne and something that was distinctlyLink. She wondered if his whole apartment smelled like this or if there was anyonewaiting for him. “Thank you,” she muttered against him, “but whatever decisionI make won’t be for myself.”
At that, his arms tightenedaround her and she wondered if she asked him to hold her like this every nighthe would do it. One night would be fine, she thought. One night would mean theworld. The thought made her chest tighten and her lip to tremble in a way a queen’slip should never. Zelda bit down on her lip and sniffed, burying her head deeperinto his chest.
“I’m sorry I’m keeping you up,”she said, pulling away despite her screaming want.
“Don’t be.” Blue eyes. All shecould see was blue. He brushed a tear from her cheek.
She couldn’t make sense of it.Link was already so close and when she leaned onto the tips of her slippers, hemet her halfway. His lips moved against her and his hand found her shoulder. Hebreathed her in and her heart pounded in her chest. Link pulled back after acouple long moments, wide eyed and confounded.
Zelda’s lips stumbled in betweenan apology and a goodnight as she fumbled for the door. Not even bothering tograb her things at the door, she closed it behind her.

Hi Hi Hi!!! So how about a scenario with Allen running away from the order simallar to episode 12 ending but instead of lenalee going after him it's his s/o. You can keep or change the ending if you want!
Hey hi hiiii~! This came out longer than expected and uhhh I sorta,,, deviated from the request (I only realized this when I finished writing so,,, whoops?). Regardless, I hope this is to your liking anon!! q w q Please enjoy!!
Also, under the cut because this got hella long uwu;; and the ones in blockquote are “flashbacks” uwu
Word count : 1,542
“Exorcist? What are you doing down here?”
Somethingwas wrong.
“Oh,Cardinal,” they bowed their head respectfully before throwing a concerned gazetowards the hall that lead to Allen’s cell. Inspector Howard had been in therefor too long now.
“I’mjust waiting for the Inspector is all,” the man smiled – a most comfortingsmile had it not been for the chill that ran up their spine. Why… Why did hissmile look out of place…?
Somethingwas wrong - they could feel it in the way their heart wouldn’tstop worrying and their head wouldn’t stop theorizing as their feet franticallycarried them through the maze of a hallway the Order called home.
“Perhapsyou should wait for him upstairs, my child,” the kind-looking elder pattedtheir head, moving past them as he disappeared down the corridor. ______ staredfor a moment more, waiting with bated breath for something – anything really –to happen.
They’dbeen down there.
Theydidn’t know what they had expected and, with a minor self-deprecating remark, they turned and made their way down the opposite hall; towards the stairs thatwould lead to the upper levels.
They’dbeen down there before it happened.
“Lenalee!”Their hoarse voice yelled out to the taller woman- the tears streaming down herface matching that of their own; they felt their heart clench.
Theexplosion caught them off guard – the young (h/c) stumbling as they desperatelytried their best to not fall down the long flight of stairs. Bewildered, theirfrantic mind considered running back towards the cell, already anxious mindcoming up with several thousand scenarios that flitted through their eyes inthe split second it took for them to blink – none of them looked good.
Togetherwith the young Asian, _______ ran through the crowded halls; throwing outfrantic – almost rude – ‘excuse me’s and ‘pardon me’s. They parted when theycame to the stairs - _____ taking the one that would lead them to the groundfloor while Lenalee took the ones that would lead her to the roof.
______took several steps back out of shock as they stared at the guards who were supposedto be guarding the room – at the guards that now lay unconscious on the floorwith… with… something coming out of their eyes. Their body shook; theair felt heavy and suffocating and-
Wasthat… the cardinal…?
Theirlungs burned as they skipped several steps, feet pitter-pattering wildly asthey tried to reach the ground floor as soon as possible. Not once, not twicebut multiple times had they found themselves almost falling – almost sprainingtheir feet from how reckless they were running but their safety was the lastthing on their mind.
Stumbling,______ felt their hands shook as they cupped their mouth – not trustingthemselves to not make any noise as the cardinal started to move. With theirheart in their throat and the sting of tears in their eyes, ______ started tomove; they needed to get away-
Theyneeded to l e a v e.
Theyweren’t safe here and they knew it.
Gasping– out of breath - _______ winced as the branches and the leaves cut at theirskin, leaving tiny nicks here and there. Faintly, they heard the sounds ofbattle as their fellow exorcist fought teeth and bones to get rid of the akumassurrounding them.
Fromup above, they saw Lenalee landing on a tree – closer to the ground so that shecould talk with the (h/c). The noirette was clearly as out of breath as _____was. As they each exchanged information about Allen’s possible whereabouts, several level threes had spotted them and had taken to attacking them.
“________,go! I’ll hold them off and join you!” gritting their teeth, ______ glared atthe young noirette. Their heart was heavy – they were afraid and frustrated andconfused and angry all at the same time and they couldn’t – not for the life ofthem – make much sense of what was happening.
Whywas this all happening?!
“Don’ttry to play hero, Lenalee! You’re much faster than I am- you have a higherchance of catching Allen with your boots!” quickly doing away with the levelthree that tried to attack her, Lenalee turned towards her friend – barelyavoiding the swipe of another akuma.
“Youhave a better lead on his location!” and, you have a better chance ofconvincing him to come back, was what Lenalee wanted to say but her throatburned with the unsaid words and her tears were starting to cloud her visionand goddammit she has akumas to deal with!! She can’t be crying right now!!
“Nowgo!”
Andso they left.
Butthe path the (h/c) took was dark and confusing and they felt like they’d beenrunning around in circles and goddammit- they just wanted to see Allen!!Stopping to catch their breath, _______ honed their senses so that they couldhear of any approaching danger; the threat of the akumas were still aroundafterall. Letting their guard down right here, right now would be a stupid move.
“Link…?”_______ choked on their words, tears burning their eyes as they stared at theunconscious body of the inspector. Hadn’t the cardinal been watching over Linkjust a moment ago? Why was he… all….. messed up?
“Giveup on him, exorcist,” the voice snapped the (h/c) out of their reverie –shoulders tensing as they reached for their innocence. In front of them, with alaidback smile on his face, was the damned Third himself – Tokusa. He smirkedin his usual condescending manner, ______ gritting their teeth and growling inreturn.
“Shutthe fuck up,” they cursed, feeling all the repressed emotions frombefore bubbling and threatening to break under the surface. They wanted to lashout – wanted to grab the man by his collar or his hair and straight up yellprofanities in his face or punch the living daylights out of him but theshaking of their fingers and the almost painful clenching on their musclesprevented them from moving.
Deepdown, they knew they were weaker than the former CROW and that fact irritatedthem to no end.
“Letme through, Tokusa,” the man hummed, tilting his head to the side in aquizzical manner.
“Andwhy? You know you won’t be able to catch up to Walker in time right? He’s justgoing to join the Earl – just as we did,” the chuckle that fell from his lipsgrated their ears. _______ clenched their weapon tighter, swallowing thegrowing lump their throat as they readied for an attack.
Friendor not, Tokusa had turned to the enemy - ____ would’ve had to fight him sooneror later.
“Isee your hesitation, ______,” Tokusa smiled, closing his eyes as he slowlyretreated into the writhing mass of darkness behind him – a portal of theEarl’s making, perhaps.
“You’reweak. Just like the rest of us. Maybe we’ll ask the Earl if you can join us,”with a final, irritating chuckle, Tokusa disappeared; and so did the barrierthat surrounded the (h/c). Gritting their teeth, ______ gulped down the screamthat wanted to tear through their throat.
Frustrationbubbled under their skin and their heart felt like it was being boiled alive. It hurt it hurt it hurt it hu r ts-
“Allen!”
Lenalee.
Thefaint voice yelling for their lover’s name snapped them out of theiranger-induced stupor and the lead that weighed down their feet seemed to liftat the hope that surged through their veins. Breathed in deeply- shakily-before pushing themselves to their feet, _____ found themselves running at fullspeed to where they had heard the voice come from.
Allenwas close-!
Breakingthrough the foliage, ______ gasped when they saw the ark – the unknown devicefloating several inches off the ground as Allen and Lenalee conversed severalfeet away from it. They saw Allen smiling as he cupped Lena’s cheek and, justfrom that smile alone, _______ knew they were fucked.
Thatwasn’t a smile.
Thatwas a parting.
Theirlips shook as tears cascaded down their cheeks. Frozen, they began to move –slowly at first; walking towards the center of the clearing where her friendand her beloved stood – before their feet picked up speed and they startedrunning.
Pleaseplease please-
Forthe love of god-
Allen,p l e a  s  e  -!
Allengave Lenalee one last smile, his back drawing ever closer to the ark – to theportal that would take him somewhere far far away from here. It was thenthat ______ found their voice – the burning sensation in their throat too muchfor them to handle.
“Don’tleave! Allen!!”
Theirvoice carried across the field – hoarse with unbearable emotions that theydidn’t want. It seemed to shock Allen, his eyes immediately drawing towards thestill running (h/c). ______’s heart clenched painfully in their throat at theresolve in Allen’s eyes – their lungs too out of breath for them to continuepleading for much longer.
“Takecare, ______,”
“ALLEN!!”
_______reached forward, gritting their teeth and hoping against all hope that theycould grasp his hand but – as the ark dissipated – the only thing they managedto grasp was the air that their beloved left behind.

Greenflame scenario part 1/3 (this is so long I'm sorry) : So before Lloyd "grew up" he always looked up to Kai, he thought Kai was the strongest person ever. Kai has taken many hits for Lloyd when he was young. So when Lloyd did "grow up" he noticed something. He first noticed during fighting, he had noticed how one of the villains had easily thrown Kai across the room while Cole only got pushed a few feet away. He forgot right afterwards tho.
Greenflame scenario part 2/3: The second time he noticed was at their first movie night together, Kai had fallen asleep on Lloyd. “Why does he look so vulnerable? I always thought he was so strong when I was little. But he looks so fragile right now, he.. he looks like he could break at any moment. And I let him protect me, let him take hits for me, he almost died on multiple occasions for me."Lloyd carried Kai to his bed after having all these thoughts.
Greenflame scenario part 3/3: He had just tucked Kai in his bed and was about leave, when he turned back. "Hey Kai? Sorry I have to wake you but I just have to tell you something real quick” “Mhm” “Kai, I’ll try- I promise… I PROMISE BY MY OWN LIFE I WILL NEVER LET ANYONE HURT YOU EVER AGAIN! GOODNIGHT!!” and Lloyd ran off. Kai didn’t even remember any of this the next morning, but Lloyd never forgot it. ~You know I could go on for so much longer but yeah… *-* I hope I’m not annoying you^~^
aaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
yyoooo dude this is so adorable oh fsm i think i canactually feel my face heat up from cuteness weewoo weewoo
oh geez mind if i try something here??
He feels a weight suddenly appear on his shoulder and turnsto see Kai’s calm, sleeping face. His mouth slightly opened like an ‘O’ as hischest continuously rose and went back down again in a soft and soothing rhythm.Lloyd feels his face heat up at the realization of how close they were. Try ashe might to focus back on the movie, he keeps finding himself staring at thebrunet’s peaceful face. His sudden hypersensitivity doesn’t really help at allin the slightest. The sounds of blasters rifles and clashes of plasma swordsare drowned by the repetitive beating of Kai’s heart so close to his arm andthe quiet snores that leave a tingle up his spine-
With the Master of Fire at close proximity, Lloyd begins tosee a myriad of things he’s never bothered to notice before. The faint freckleson his cheeks and arms, the scent of his hair that smelled like a combinationof ash and a floral fragrance he can’t place that somehow smelled so alluring, how the TV light made him seem so small and fragile and just so vulnerable-
He takes a moment to process that: the thought of Kai asvulnerable, the thought of him as weak.
(A red blur flies pasthis vision as he grit his teeth, pushing an enemy to a metaphorical corner andknocking them unconscious afterwards. His older body was something he was just startingto get used to but he knew he could manage. Hopefully.
Out of the corner ofhis eye, he sees Cole get hit the same way Kai had been hit. ‘Huh, that’sweird,’ he thinks, going after another snake. ‘He didn’t get thrown as far and ashard like Kai did…’
“Watch out!” Lloydjumps out of his trance and barely dodges the fangs of the Fangpyre lunging athim. As he spun out of the way, he took the chance and hit the red snake ashard as he could to render it unconscious.
The green ninja wipesthe sweat on his forehead. “Thanks, Kai!” He gives the red ninja a thankfulgrin, earning a warm smile in return.
Their focus was backon the battlefield and Lloyd forgets about that little tidbit of information, drunk on the fun of fighting.)
The green-clad male shakes his head and carefully adjuststhe sleeping brunet to avoid disrupting him from his slumber. He bites his lipwhen Kai stirs for a bit, then breathes out a relieved sigh when he goes back tosleeping.
He could easily carry the hothead on his back-
But that could mean waking him up, with how he was sleepingright now. So Lloyd decides to carry him in his arms, instead. ‘Bridal-style’if you would.
He frowns as he starts his trek to his bed, the ease ofcarrying the brunet bothering him. ‘He’s so light…’ he observes, ‘I nevernoticed how thin he was until now…Should I be concerned? Is this just me beingreally strong, or is Kai really underweight?’
[Honestly? It’s a wonder he’s come this far, still alive andstanding.]
Once he reaches his destination, Lloyd gently places Kai onthe bed and runs his hands through slightly spiked brown locks. He turns to thedoor, fully intent on leaving the room, yet something stops him.
“Hey, Kai?”
No response, he guesses it’s worth a shot. He won’t be awaketo hear him anyway.
“I just, it’s cause,” he pauses, unsure where he wanted thisto go. “I want to tell you something.”
There’s a drowsy hum from underneath the blankets.
He’s gripping the door frame tightly now, he doesn’t knowwhy though…
“I’ll try…I promise,” his voice lowers to a whisper. “I won’tlet you get hurt anymore. I swear on my life.” Lloyd then leaves the bedroomfor real, though there was a nagging at the back of his mind that he just can’tplace…
He swears he saw Kai smile in his sleep, but he ignores thatin place of the raging blush that he’s desperately trying to will away.
(Later in the morning he realizes that he never did turn thetelevision off…their electricity bill might be more expensive now because ofthat.
Oops?)
—uhhh,,,i sorta,,,deviated from your version but ummm,,,you forgive me right?? my writing was just not appropriate for it i guess
ahh no no no you’re not annoying you’re notlike oh boy i’m loving these, having fun with them too haha :Dplus it’s,,,it’s nice,,,having someone to talk to with this...
i love these tho, if you ever have any more cute scenes like this hmu they’re amazing

Paring: Sasuke x Naruto
Summary: “I know exactly why I put this ring on your finger. Do you know why you accepted it?”
Naruto can almost physically see the waves of anger rolling off his fiancé as they both make there way toward their apartment. The evening sky is a disarray of various hues of pinks, purples, and blues as Naruto trails after Sasuke, the latter visibly upset, frowning, hands shoved in his pockets as he walks quickly towards their home. They had just gotten back from a week long mission with Sakura and Sai, half of which consisted of the other two watching Naruto and Sasuke repeatedly getting into arguments, each exponentially harsher than the one before.
By the time they had made it back to Konoha, Sai and Sakura had gladly departed as soon as possible, leaving Naruto to deal with Sasuke’s abysmal mood. Naruto sighs, stretching his arms over his head and looking up at the beautiful sky as he follows after his partner.
The problem was that Sasuke needed to trust him more, be more confident in Naruto’s abilities and his intelligence. Sure, he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but Naruto wasn't an idiot either. As a jounin, he’d fine-tuned his skills and had enough experience to be a very capable and powerful young ninja, perhaps one of the greatest in history. Naruto’s confident in himself, so why couldn't Sasuke be as well? After all that they’ve been through, everything they’ve fought and won against, why did Sasuke still doubt him? In all honesty, the thought confused Naruto more than it hurt him.
“You have the keys?” Naruto watches as Sasuke starts climbing the stairs to their apartment.
“Hn.”
He’s never been a man of many words, but since their last argument, Sasuke’s vocabulary had been noticeably reduced, the infamous “hn” making up most of his speech, especially when talking to Naruto.
The argument happened right after they had defeated a particularly menacing enemy ninja. Yes, truthfully, Naruto had been a bit reckless, taking a few fairly dangerous risks here and there, but that was just his way of fighting, taking chances if needed, giving it his all every single time. Sasuke had yelled at him afterwards, gotten so angry as Sakura helped heal a huge gash across Naruto’s bicep that he set a sizable distance between himself and the other three the rest of their way back to Konoha in an attempt to cool off. Obviously, it hadn’t worked. Naruto closes the apartment door behind him, watching Sasuke take of his shoes, a scowl still darkening his featuring.
He sighs deeply and leans back on the door. “Why can you not just trust me?”
Sasuke pauses and then slowly looks up at him. “What?”
“I get it. I was reckless. I deviated from the plan slightly, but I knew what I was doing. I knew that I could beat him.” He toes of his own shoes, Sasuke still glaring at him. “I’m gonna be the next Hokage, Sasuke. I know what I’m doing and what I’m capable of. There’s no point in getting unnecessarily angry over small things like this.”
Sasuke stands up, face almost blank but eyes burning fiercely, “Right, future Hokage-sama, pardon me for getting in your way.” His voice is low and venomous.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing. I’m done dealing with morons like you.” He turns to leave, but Naruto grabs his elbow, jerking him around to face him.
“Why the fuck did you ask me to marry you then, bastard? What’s the point of getting married if you don’t want to deal with me?”
The words had barely left Naruto’s mouth before he hears a loud bang, feeling air rush past his cheek as Sasuke punches the door that Naruto had been leaning on, fist resting a few inches beside Naruto’s head. He leans in closer and Naruto flatten himself against the door, holding Sasuke’s fiery gaze.
Sasuke lifts up Naruto’s left hand with the hand that isn't balled in a fist against the door and turns it as he brings it in front of the blond’s face. The engagement band is shining on Naruto’s ring finger and he tears his eye’s away from Sasuke’s to look at it.
“I know exactly why I put this on your finger. Do you know why you accepted it?”
Sasuke’s dark eyes are boring into Naruto’s, long lashes casting shadows on his cheeks, watching as Naruto tries to figure out what to say.
“Becau—”
“We’re a team, Naruto. You and I are a team. In life. In everything. We’re supposed to depend on each other. This isn’t about me not trusting you. I know how strong you are.” He lets go of Naruto’s hand and rests his palm against the door, leaning in even closer.
“I know how good of a ninja you are, how powerful you are, but that's irrelevant. That is not what this is about. What you have to realize, dobe, is that you have a family now.” Sasuke watches as Naruto’s blue eyes widen, almost loosing himself in the azure hue.
“That means you aren’t allowed to take risks on a whim regardless of how sure of yourself you think you are. It means that you don't get to take these stupid chances with your life because your life isn’t just yours anymore.” He’d been trying to keep his voice hard and steady, but Sasuke can feel his emotions starting to seep into his words as he stares at the most precious person in his life. He’s leaned in so close that Naruto’s face is only a few inches from his own.
“It means, usuratonkachi, that you aren’t fucking allowed to die without me.”
Suddenly, Naruto’s lips are crashing into Sasuke’s, his body slamming into the other, pushing the latter back a few steps. He catches himself and pins Naruto back on the door, opening his mouth to the blond’s kisses, licking past Naruto’s lips, roaming into his mouth, tongues moving together.
The familiar scent, taste, feel, Sasuke can’t get enough. He breaks the kiss and licks Naruto’s lips again before leaving open mouth kisses down his chin, trailing down to his collar bone before running his his tongue back up Naruto’s neck and biting along his jaw, one hand slipping into the back Naruto’s pants and gripping his butt while the other slides under his shirt. All the pent up emotions, anger, frustration, fear, and love, finally crashing through him, leaving Sasuke with an overwhelming need to devour, to take, and indulge in his lust. Naruto seems to be mirroring his thoughts as he pulls Sasuke up by his hair for another kiss, all tongues and teeth, as he grinds roughly into his fiancé.
“Sasuke,” Naruto all but moans, voice dripping with desire. He pulls at Sasuke’s clothes, sucking a hickey onto his neck, fingers twisting in his hair.
Sasuke steps back for a moment, slipping off his jounin vest and pulling off the the black shirt underneath while Naruto does the same before Sasuke’s on him again, licking his shoulder then biting down on it as Naruto whines.
They kiss, Naruto just licking into Sasuke’s mouth, uncoordinated, lewd, mirroring Sasuke’s desperation. Sasuke pulls away from Naruto and bends to lap at one of Naruto’s nipples before rolling it gently between his teeth. He can feel Naruto’s fingers gripping his shoulders, fingers digging into the skin as his breathing becomes more ragged. Sasuke drops down on his knees, tugging down Naruto’s pants to reveal his underwear, a clear outline of his dick visible as it strain against the fabric. Leaning forward, Sasuke grazes his teeth over Naruto’s clothed cock before sucking on it, laving it with his tongue over the underwear.
“Sas—ah please,” Naruto breaths out, impatient, hips gently bucking.
Sasuke pulls down the underwear running the tip of nose down Naruto’s happy trail before burying his nose in the coarse golden hair at his groin, taking in the familiar scent as his hand strokes Naruto’s cock, wet with precum.
He moves to run the flat of his tongue up the shaft of Naruto’s cock before moving lower to lick the balls then take them into his mouth, suckling gently. Naruto’s moans, fingers tightening on Sasuke’s hair as his engorged cock dribbles more precum.
Sasuke guides one Naruto’s legs over his body, resting the back of his thigh on Sasuke’s shoulder. He pulls back, holding the back of Naruto’s other thigh and stands up straight, sliding Naruto up the door while he lifts Naruto’s thigh to rest on Sasuke’s other shoulder, having Naruto now sitting frontwards on his shoulders, the blond’s back leaning against the door, Sasuke’s face right in front of his crotch.
Naruto chokes on his own spit as Sasuke takes his entire length into the warmth of his mouth, hollowing out his cheeks to suck deeply, licking at the sensitive head.
“Sasuke! AH—ah,” he’s panting, trying to breath, dizzy with arousal, every part of him burning as his fiancé continues sucking. Suddenly Sasuke’s hand is in front of his face, two long, slender fingers pushing on Naruto’s lips. Naruto takes them in his mouth, moaning as he swirls his tongue around the digits, sucks on them as he hears his own wanton moans. His dick is buried deep in Sasuke’s mouth, reaching into his throat, and he whines as Sasuke hums, the muscles of his throat vibrating around Naruto’s length. Saliva rolls down the corner of Naruto’s mouth as Sasuke retracts his fingers, lowing his hand.
Naruto gasps as he feels his fiancé pushing against his entrance, rubbing the puckered flesh before slowly sliding in a finger all the way. He takes it out half way before pushing it back in again, thrusting the digit into him repeatedly.
“Uhhnn Sasuke go—ah uhhh fuck!” Pleasure roles through Naruto’s body as Susuke curls his finger slightly. He slips in a second finger and continues the thrusts, stretching out the muscles as he scissors his fingers in between the thrusts, mouth still busy with Naruto’s member.
He curls his fingers once more, sucking hard on Naruto’s cock and suddenly the blond is coming, crying out his name once more, voice high with arousal. Sasuke swallows the spurts of cum filling his mouth, feeling Naruto’s thighs quiver against the sides of his face. When he finishes his orgasm, he leans back on the door, fingers loosely tangled in Sasuke’s hair, trying to catch his breath.
Sasuke slowly slides Naruto off his shoulder, bringing him back down before Naruto’s legs wrap around his waist as Sasuke holds him up by his upper thighs. Naruto leans forward for a sloppy kiss, skin flushed red, pupils dilated.
Pinning the boy in his arms between the door and his torso, Sasuke uses one hand to fish out a packet of lube from his wallet before tugging off his pants and underwear, his cock now throbbing painfully with need. He hands the packet to Naruto, who rips it open and covers Sasuke’s length with lubrication, his forehead resting against Sasuke’s, still trying to breath properly. Sasuke lines his dick against Naruto’s entrance.
“Can I?” He mumbles into Naruto’s ears, voice low and rough with need.
“Yes,” Naruto sighs into Sasuke’s neck.
He slides slowly into Naruto’s heat, spreading Naruto open with his hands then begins a steady pace of thrusting. Naruto is pressing wet kisses all along Sasuke’s neck and jaw, thighs squeezing around Sasuke’s waist, hands scratching at his back.
“Sasuke, Sasuke, uhhhnn Sasuke…” His lover’s name pour out in whines, moans, and gasps from Naruto’s mouth as Sasuke thrusts into him with increasing speed, filling him with warmth and heat, knotting his stomach with an impending need for release.
“Naruto,” Sasuke grunts, picking up his pace, going even faster. He capture’s Naruto’s lips in an open mouthed kiss, lips slick with saliva, sucking on Naruto’s tongue.
“Mmm I—ah I love you! Love you,” Naruto gasps out, and Sasuke reaches his climax, hips moving erratically as his orgasm crashes through him. He watches in a sated daze as Naruto shakes through his own orgasm right afterwards and slumps in his arms, head falling into Sasuke’s shoulder as Sasuke pulls out of him.
He can barely feel his legs, body drained, drenched in a thick sheen of sweat and sticking to Naruto’s, but Sasuke wills himself to walk to the bedroom, and drop Naruto gently on the bed, spooning behind him. He kisses the back of Naruto’s neck and pulls him tighter against his body, despite how hot he feels.
“We need to take a bath.” Naruto feels Sasuke’s lips against the shell of his ears
“Shut up and sleep, bastard.”
He knows Sasuke’s right. They’re both covered in sweat and body fluids, but there’s no way he’s leaving the bed and Sasuke’s arms at the moment. His mind vaguely wanders to their earlier conversation as he feels his fiancé nuzzle into his neck.
Sasuke had been scared of losing him, scared that after being torn away from so many loved ones, he’d have to see Naruto leave him as well. Naruto felt his heart clench. Sasuke didn’t fave a family and was never very good at making friends or connecting with others. Naruto was his best friend, lover, his one and only, and, now, his family. It must be so terrifying, so painful, for Sasuke to think about losing him.
Naruto takes Sasuke’s left hand and places a kiss over the engagement band on his finger.
“Hey.”
“What?”
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry for being so reckless and not thinking about my responsibilities to my family. I’ll do better, I promise” He turns and grins at his fiancé, holding up his own engagement ring in front of Sasuke’s face, “And I know why accepted this. It’s because I love you, more than anyone and anything in this world, so you better not fucking die without me either, bastard!”
A slow smile spreads over Sasuke’s face before he leans down to kisses his future husband.
