guess what??? bulbapedia had its 50,000th wiki article created a bit ago, and to celebrate we made a news article celebrating bulbapedia! i'm actually in it, soo... take a look if you'd like!! (this was written by our twitter admin and my overlord wyndoncalling)

Celebrating 50k Bulbapedia articles with our favourite wiki pages!

As one of the world's largest media franchises, Pokémon is monolithic to say the least. Documenting every facet of this gargantuan IP is a task perhaps only the most dedicated and/or foolhardy would embark on, yet that's exactly what our Bulbapedia team and thousands of selfless contributors have done over eighteen long years! With Pokémon now encompassing nine generations of main series games along with dozens of spin-offs, mobile games, movies, anime and manga series, merchandise and much more, the wiki itself has grown in tandem - we recently hit a whopping 50,000 articles!

To celebrate, we've compiled a list from across the Bulbagarden team of our favourite wiki articles. For our non-wiki team members, these might simply be pages that they enjoy reading and help inform their work in other aspects of the site. For wiki Staff, these could instead be pages that they've sunk many productive hours into. Read on for an eclectic collection of articles detailing some of the most obscure corners of the Pokémon franchise!

WyndonCalling (Social Media) - Tall grass

On the one hand, I think it's faintly hilarious that anyone would go into such detail for a mundane and omnipresent mechanic of the main series games; the tall grass that awaits the player on every starting route just feels so self-explanatory in function. On the other hand, I think it speaks volumes about the commitment and mentality of the Bulbapedia team and contributors that no scrap of information is left undocumented - on the tall grass page you'll find the basic details about how it works, but also variations such as tall grass and seaweed, animations of the Cut mechanic, in-battle effects, and more. Who knew that simple grass could be so fascinating in a world with flame-throwing dragons and electric mice?

Runner-up - List of Pokémon by base stats

As the Admin of the Bulbagarden Twitter account, I'm always on the hunt for interesting trivia to share; having the base stats of all Pokémon in one, sortable place makes it so much easier to make fun comparisons between species (did you know that Krabby has more Attack than Eternatus?).

Maverick Nate - Bulbapedia - Coin (TCG) (and its three subpages: Gens 1-4, Gens 5-6, and Gens 7-8)

This page is what I consider my best accomplishment during my 10 years as Bulbapedia's TCG Leader. There is an incredible amount of research, time, (and personal financial investment) baked into the article, and it always gives me a swell of pride when I update it with fresh images of newly acquired coins. There are over 700 different coins documented here, and I still fondly remember the long-night research sessions I would have with my best friend when we would do things like watch countless YouTube openings to figure out release information, check out endless eBay and Yahoo Auctions listings for never-before-seen coins, hold up physical coins to a spotlight trying to determine the Holofoil pattern. Our other friends would poke fun at us for researching in the field, (which was just our excuse to go shopping for newly released TCG products with new coins or hitting up garage sales and card shops on the off chance they had old ones). All of those years of effort produced what is now considered the definitive list of all coins in existence for coin enthusiasts. Whenever I see people online referencing it and using it for their own collections, I just have to smile, knowing that my favorite article is helping people all around the globe.

Wowy (Bulbapedia) - Red (Masters)

This page is just an example for all the character pages for Pokémon Masters. As one of the main editors covering Pokémon Masters when the game was first released, I feel very content to see many other editors who have taken the mantle to make Bulbapedia's coverage of the game quite comprehensive! I also enjoy the gallery section at the bottom because there are some sweet artwork pieces that come out of the game / the PMEX Twitter.

Runner Up - Face board

An article that was initially written for fun ended up being moved from the userpage to the main Bulbapedia page. Like the tall grass page, it's a niche page that showcases how much we like to document every minor and obscure detail in the franchise (albeit there is still so much to cover)!

Lisia (Social Media) (omg HIIII that's me!!!!) (姉ちゃん見て見て、あたしテレビだ。。) - Pokémon world in relation to the real world

This is a very extensive page, and it's very useful for a lot of different things! I use it for worldbuilding for fanfiction and roleplay stuff usually, but it's fun to look at just in general as well! I remember looking at the page first like... years ago, and it blew my mind to see that the Pokémon world was actually based off of real locations! It's something that I'd call a huge resource for anyone who creates Pokémon fanworks, especially written ones!

Runner Up - Lisia (i had to LOL)

Maybe it's a little... self-serving? But I really like this article of my personal namesake; she's my favorite character after all! She's a relatively minor character within the whole of Pokémon so there's not a whole lot of information about her, so I like reading all the stuff there is about her! It makes me happy that people have put work into articles about everyone, because well... in a way I wouldn't be me without it. I should probably contribute to it sometime!

Orchid (Forums) - Pokémon food

I picked this article because it is astoundingly comprehensive on its topic, and offers a lot of really interesting insight into the Pokémon universe as a whole. From Poffins, to prey, to parasites, to Slowpoke Tails... it's all here! It's amazing how having all this information in one place puts into perspective just how much there is to cover on what, at a glance, might seem like such a simple subject. I find myself coming back here every now and then just out of curiosity (or perhaps to settle a debate about what an Aerodactyl really eats).

Runner-up - Twerp

This page is silly and I love it. I've even shown this one to friends and family who are fellow Pokémon fans, and they've gotten just as much of a kick out of it as I have! But as amusing of a read as it may be, what I love most about this page is the fact that even a short and lighthearted bit of terminology like this is documented thoroughly here, just like anything else would be. All across Bulbapedia, you can find so much care and detail put into the littlest of things, and that does bring a smile to my face

DapperCody (Multimedia) - Ash Ketchum

Like many people, I grew up watching the Pokémon anime as a youngster. I enjoy Ash's article because it is comprehensive account of the quarter century that he has graced our screens - looking it over is very nostalgic. The history section with photos is fantastic, and I love being able to see all the Pokémon he has ever owned or used and their current status. It also has an extensive trivia section like all my favorite articles do. I've fallen down the anime rabbit hole on Bulbapedia numerous times, and Ash's page is a great place to start.

Runner Up - Ash's Noctowl

See all of the above, but from a different perspective. Pages for individual Pokémon from the anime are fantastic to get a glimpse into all the highlights from their time in the spotlight, and what better example of this than my personal favorite, Noctowl? The move history is really neat, especially the fact that it designates the moves recently used (and the illegal ones when applicable). Did you know Noctowl was the first Shiny Pokémon in the anime?

bthrussellUK (Bulbapedia) - Pokémon Battle Chess

I really love this article because I think it’s an example of what Bulbapedia is great at; taking obscure Pokémon topics (especially outside of Japan) and saving them from being lost to the sands of time. The original Pokémon Battle Chess website has been taken offline, so without articles like this one, the game would be forgotten. Instead, because it’s here, I decided to find and buy a copy of both Pokémon Battle Chess BW Version and Pokémon Battle Chess and use them to help expand the gameplay section of the article. They're actually pretty fun games! Now I just need a copy of Pokémon Battle Chess W…

Runner Up - Pokémon games

It looks like it's just a really long list... and it is! But for me it's a really great reminder of how massive Pokémon is, how many games have been released in the last 26 years, and how many different platforms Pokémon games have released on. Basically, how did they deal with a lot of change being thrown at them? (Bonus: if your character has a saviour complex themselves, how do they collectively deal with the problem and how do they address it?)

(For Bryce-romancers) -> Juggling family can be hard. How was it for Bryce to move on from his toxic family and how was it for your character to see their partner in distress, between taking care of Keiki, building back the confidence to move on, etc? (Bonus: if your character comes from a toxic family themselves, how do Bryce and your MC navigate this moving-on process?)

(For Ethan-romancers) -> How was it for them to be "out" in public? Former boss/employee relationships are tough to handle, despite now being colleagues and working side by side. And with Ethan being a public figure himself, it is likely things might go sour. (Bonus: If your character is male/non-binary, how do they, as partners, handle public homophobia, if any?)

(For Jackie-romancers) -> How did Jackie and your character build back the trust they've lost in their own selves and their careers? Given that Jackie buys into Declan Nash's cruel game and MC is subjected to Leland Bloom's own mind games, how did they process it? (Bonus: if your character is a female how did Jackie and your MC push through in a predominantly male-dominated medical world?)

Stuff I dig about your OC's TA jaunt excerpt, in no particular order: (1) good range of third-person perspectives/voices; (2) the Mower Incident; (3) Biff-er, Cardin's crap not going unnoticed; (4) Blake getting a bit back WRT Weiss' Company Heir screeds; (5) Fei also a bit put on-the-spot by the Doc. Finally, put my vote down for a full-bore school supply duel (papercut aura slashes? dual-wield staple gunplay? Protractor fencing?).

(1) This chapter takes place relatively early in the story (iirc the scene's in chapter 10 and I've written about 105 overall), so one of my priorities here was establishing the distinct character voices. Yang is different from Ruby who is different from Blake who is different from Weiss who is different from -

and I wanted both their internal narration and external dialogue to both reflect that and remain consistent with what we know of how they speak and think and act and feel in the show. If I can't imagine a character saying a line with the actual voice and inflection and word choice they use in the show, I'll scrap it or rework it until I can.

(2) Yang and Ruby are both accomplished engineers and habitual troublemakers, you cannot convince me they didn't test out their newfound knowledge and skills on the most readily-available household appliances, much to their father's chagrin. You also can't convince me that Qrow did not encourage them enthusiastically, partly because he wants to be the cool uncle, partly because he genuinely enjoys seeing them be happy and learn, and partly because he wants to antagonize Tai.

(3) That was important because Cardin's crap doesn't exactly go unnoticed in canon proper either. The main characters think his behavior is deplorable, but they don't really step in to stop it, and neither do the staff. The explanation this fic posits for that is, essentially, that this is a Huntsman Academy, and thus that anyone who can't defend themselves and is too proud to ask for help had better find a way to deal with that in a relatively safe environment before they go out into the field. Huntsmen need to be strong, good at working with others, or both, and there's no room on the battlefield for stubborn pride. Better to let them learn this lesson now than when lives are at stake.

(4) Yeah, so, like, I've been pretty vocal about my disappointment in the way Weiss's racism and Blake's racial activism have been handled in canon, so one of my goals with his story was to remember that these are, in fact, elements of their characters that exist for more than two episodes and would logically cause friction between them, especially early on before they were able to bond and reach an understanding and Weiss started putting in the effort to change and be better. I wanted that change to be more gradual in this story than it was in the show, with Weiss acknowledging that she's trying her best and still making mistakes (and not even recognizing some of the mistakes she's making) and Blake acknowledging that Weiss means well and is making the effort but still messes up and needs correction, rather than the very... abrupt... transition Weiss makes from "racist" to "not racist".

Also, Atlas sucks and Blake deserves the chance to clap back at it, because she sure as hell didn't get the opportunity when the narrative actually traveled there

(5) That was actually Ozpin's idea. I looked at his entry on the wiki and apparently he likes introducing chaos and studying the significance of people's choices (iirc we got this information from the CFVY books I haven't read), so I figured things were getting a little too easy for Feilan and had Ozpin ask Oobleck to shake things up a bit. This was also meant to show that while he's not, like, fully prepared to be a leader or a mentor at this (early) stage of his development, he does have the innate ability to think quickly and respond to changing circumstances.

Also yeah I feel like someone should get to stab Cardin with a pen John Wick style but I have plans for him so he gets to live another day

Silent Reading chapter 51.

1. I love how priest writes Luo Wenzhou. He's gay and in his interactions with women he of course is not charmed or particularly soft for them, he's nice as a public figure responsible for lowering danger but like clearly compared to playboy Fei Du he's rather indifferent to women, compared to Tao Ran he's not as innately warm. In this scene the fact he IS a bit soft on men, especially men who seem to be being friendly and nice, and handsome. We knew this vaguely cause he's kind to Tao Ran more than the other colleagues but he has a "crush" on Tao ran and Tao ran is his decades old best friend. So far the other men he's interacted with are potential enemies, suspects, etc. At most he's flirtatious in a dangerous "fuck you" mocking way (also incidentally he's initially that way to fei du but softer lol). This is a nice bit of Luo Wenzhou recognizing he really is too easily swayed by a sweet, pretty man asking him for a favor. It's cure.

2. I love how it's also Fei Dus response in a way to Luo Wenzhous birthday lecture of "Do something with your life!" Like a kid who went off and accomplished some stuff, then came back to their parent to rub it in how busy and successful they've been so stop looking down on me as directionless, Fei Du showed up and listed "I'm enrolled in school, got an article published, I'm quite a novice making my way with Talent" (haha dad fuck you I DO have direction, direction you'll be impressed with, I even picked the same field as you!). Which. Wow I think about fei dus actual dad and.... (I mean in a way he did this with his actual dad too but not to impress him but to prove he's better stronger and can control and destroy him and his accomplishements). Fei du wouldn't want to be like his father by choice, it's a necessity for him to have the money power and influence to investigate. But fei du DOES wanna be like Luo Wenzhou and help people too, does want to brag to him. It's sweet and a nice follow through.

Never before had his look been this peaceful and harmless; accompanied by that “sneakily” Fei Du had just spoken, Luo Wenzhou imagined he tasted a trace of softness. He went still, the “Bullshit! What are you joking about?” he’d been about to blurt out not leaving his mouth.

Such is the inherent weakness of a man!

Luo Wenzhou internally lamented, but his tone involuntarily softened a great deal. “I’m afraid that won’t work. It’s against regulations.”

“Didn’t you let me listen in on an interrogation last time?”

“Our leader specially authorized it.”

“Then have him authorize it again. I’ve already talked directly to Su Luozhan, anyway.” Fei Du displayed his habitual, somewhat irreverent not-quite-smile. “And moreover I’ve written a little article concerning studies of ‘victims,’ which fortunately happened to be read by a certain teacher some little time ago and collected in the third edition of an academic text on a related topic. Oh, on that note, this April I was enrolled into Yan Security Uni’s applied psychology post-graduate program. Come September, I’ll be halfway to being an insider in your system.—Captain Luo, how about you call and ask that very quick and able leader from last time?”

Luo Wenzhou: “…”

I am home alone!! I miss my James. But they successfully biked to Delaware and are with their friends and I'm sure are having a great time.

I am real tired though. Today was a good day. I got a lot accomplished. And that felt good.

I slept okay last night. When I woke up James was still in bed and it was nice to see their sweet face.

They made me feel really nice this morning. Said some really sweet stuff about my hair cut and my outfit and it was just really nice. Love my husband.

We left the house together. They biked to Delaware today. 80 miles! To see a baseball game and hang out with their friends. We kissed and I saw them bike off. And then I headed out.

I picked up Jeniya and Dame and we headed to camp. It was a nice drive. We had peppier music today and I think it was fun just dancing and singing in the car.

When we got to camp we had some breakfast. And I was just watching tiktoks about the missing sub. Which is wild. Why would they do this?? Why would they spend $250k (our entire house budget) to die at the titanic? It's horrifying in so many ways. I mostly hope they imploded. Which sounds horrible but starving to death or suffocating is worse. I hope it was quick.

We had mental health training all morning. Which I wasn't thrilled about because it makes me think about all the stuff that upsets me this time of year. Thinking about my sister. Thinking about my dad. Thinking about how the pain around this time.

So when we broke out into small groups and we made nature art about ourselves. I was the one who took it wildly seriously and got teary when we went around and talked about our pieces. How I'm the rock in the center and all this stuff is happening around me but it's outside of myself. And Quan said "wow it's like you should be the art teacher or something...," Which made me laugh and made me feel a little better.

I would tap out after that. Elizabeth said I had mail. And she was nice enough to have Nick drive all the boxes up to the art building for me. While I was up there unboxing everything some of the group leaders for the rental group came to talk to me about leading an art program tomorrow. And it was fun to talk about the programs I'm making and some ideas for tomorrow with their kids. I decided we are going to do some sewing.

I would go and talk to Elizabeth about that. And then I just kept working up in the art building. Celia let me know when we were having lunch.

I enjoyed my all yellow meal. Potato salad. Mac and cheese. Tater tots. Honey mustard. Was great. Would have again.

Then back to the art building. I had checked with Heather and she said specialty could all go and work. Which is what I already said but everyone else seemed scared to get in trouble so I let them all know it was office sanctioned. And so everyone would head to their areas and get to work.

I would get a good amount of stuff done. Eventually I went for a walk and checked on Celia and then Ty. Ty let me go in the chicken pen and pet the duck, Quakers. And I was able to pick up the chicken, who is 13 and named Grandma. Amazing. Love holding animals.

Ty asked me to teach him to make a bracelet. So I would get that together for him. And would work on cutting down cardboard and some other stuff.

At 330 we had an emergency drill. Which we did terribly at. I got there but no one from woodlands village or horse camp heard the alert. And to be fair it wasn't that loud. But at the field, those who were there said we should gather at the council ring at 4.

I went back to the art building and a few people I didn't know came over and they were the presentation group that was showing up dances at 4 but couldn't find the office. So I sent them there. Where Heather let me know that we were changing locations to the lodge.

So I went there. And it was so fun!

They went through a whole bunch of dances. Historically and contemporary African American things. They brought some people up to dance and that was just so much fun.

The best part though was the marching band! They were incredible! I hope they come back because it was so stinking cool. The girls who danced were so good and I loved everyone's outfits.

I was in a great mood at the end. I went and chatted with the woman in charge and got her contact info to pass along to Auni to see about them being a community interest vender. Especially with our jazz concerts! I think it would be an awesome match.

It was time to go home though. Jeniya was all jazzed about the dancing. She's a great dancer! And so we had some good dancing music in the car. And headed home.

After I dropped them off I decided to go to five guys for dinner. Which was excellent. And after I ate that I want to the pet store and got some new plants and fish food.

My brain was not working all the way though because when I got home I went to put the plants in my tank. The living room tank. The plants are in a bag of water. I get on the ladder. I open the bag. I take the plant out. I put the bag down. It immediately falls down and a half gallon of water is now on the floor. I felt very stupid but all I could do was laugh.

I got the plants planted and cleaned the water. I fed everyone. And I took a bath.

This made me feel a lot better. And since then I've just been chilling. Texting my James. resting. Now though I am going to put the dishes away and get some sleep.

How many friends does she really have left?

Remember the scenes with Boscha in “Any Sport in a Storm” When she was bothering Lumity while they are trying to get people to join there “Azura Book Club“. Some people, myself included, picked up on how hard she was making fun of the books but still took one and started reciting it in public, a few even pointed out how her eyes were closed at that she was likely doing it from memory. Secret Azura fan Boshca confirmed!

But then Amity shows up to tell Luz that Azura’s author is doing a book signing that day and the pair leave Boshca to attend. (If Boscha could not verbalize wanting to join their club, there is no way she could verbalize wanting t go with them). Boscha yells out “you two aren’t cute!” (Lie) and “I still have more friends than you!”... possible lie when you look at how her social circle has been diminishing.

In season one Boscha is either leader of the cool girls/ mean girls, or co-leaders with Amity, I don’t fully remember which. She is the Top athlete in school, and more than likely a pretty powerful potions witch. Grudgby is the first episode to really explore Boscha’s mindset and it is mentioned in that that while she is celebrated around Hexside for her skills and accomplishment on the field, she is also feared for her strength and aggression on and off the field. It is also mentioned that Boscha is okay with that, uses it as an edge if you will. Fine, whatever, its her life, I am not a jock. From an outside looking in perspective it seems like all of Boscha’s inner circle of friends are people friends people who play on her team, used to play, or people she knew for years.

Amity and Skara are her best friends in season 1. Amity is an interesting case because she quite the Grudgby team a year ago, giving Boscha her spot as Captain. Boscha is quit possibly a better captain than Amity was. Yet Boscha still remains friends with Amity and in the beginning would take taunts from her and suck up to her. Whatever reason (possibly their mothers, possibly their school image) the two stayed friends after Amity quit, is rendered unimportant though as Amity begins pulling away from Boscha after “Understanding Willow”, calling her actions and the way she scares people around school “pathetic and childish”.  Boscha cares at first, but when Amity comes to Luz and Willows aid on the Grudgby field against Boscha the two’s friendship is effectively severed.

Skara is Boscha’s oldest friend, and while she has always been the sweet to Boscha’s sour, complimenting people she knows Boscha doesn’t like, and in some cases even trying to give people Boscha wants to embarrass outs, she has never before openly opposed her. Boscha has always seemed to important to Skara to cross... or at least she was before. In “Any Sport in a Storm” Skara is shown having left Grudgeby and Joins Willow’s flyer derby team. Definitely a hard pill for Boscha to swallow. After joining the flyer derby team Skara becomes new BFF’s with Viney, another pill for Boshca.  Labyrinth runners opens with Skara walking the halls with Cat and Bo,happily chatting, so we know she is still friends with them, They both seem like good friends. But she is noticeably standing on the opposite side of the crowed from Boscha and the pair do not interact at all; adding to the theory that the two girls had a falling out sometime off screen.

That would leave Boscha with just Amelia (green haired plant track student) and Cat (darker skinned healing track student square glasses) as friends. Amelia has been absent from all of season 2. She has not been seen hanging out with her old crew, or sitting in class, or walking around town. This all sounds like she moved to a new part of the titan and no longer attends Hexside.  Good-bye Amelia, it would have been nice to know more about you. Cat has made a few cameo’s: One in “Any Sport in a Storm” where she is standing in a crowd watching Hunter air surf, though she does not join the team. Next in Labyrinth runners she is seen spending time with Skara and Bo before school, then is in the healing homeroom taking care of the students who are hiding there. In none of these cameo’s is she anywhere near Boscha. Cat’s wiki says she is the new girl to the popular group, Amity’s replacement for the Grudgby team. She has also always been really quiet around Boscha. She may have actually been scared of Boscha herself.

These are the only friends Boscha is shown to have. I mean she gets a photo of herself taken at Grom with Selene and Bo, but Selene never talks to the popular girls outside of that one scene. Bo was never portrayed as one of their group. In season 1 she is shown practicing magic with Skara, when Skara isn’t around Boscha or Amity, and she may have formed a friendship with Cat by season 2, But those are the only two she seems to see as Friends.   In conclusion the mighty have fallen, and Boscha may actually not have any friends left. Amity and Skara do not seem to want to be her friends anymore, Amelia is gone, her and Cat were not close. She may have wanted to join a new club as a way to look for new friends, but she did not know how to ask for help or a chance. I am almost sad for her.

This is the question that gave me the most pause. She has the same bigger frustrations as a lot of people: injustice, hypocrisy, loss of natural beauty to building and climate change. You know. That stuff. But what really gets her goat is when people come at her people. She more defensive of them than she is herself. She's used to taking abuse and comments. She can swallow it down and complain about it later in moments when she doesn't believe it herself. But when people say things about her friends or her crew, or are rude to them for one reason or another, she doesn't let that lie. She gets really angry up front. She'll bite out words of her own, clench her fists so no one can see her shake if it starts to escalate—but she tries not to get personal in her own comments, because doesn't want to be cruel. Still happens from time to time if she's pushed enough. Sometimes she has to get walked away by one of her people. And when it passes she often feels bad about it, about losing control. But she always makes sure the person she wanted to defend knows that what they heard or how they were treated wasn't true or fair. Because that's what she would want if she was in their place. But she stubbornly held onto furthering her medical training, with the hope that one day she could step into a teaching role at some point. A sore subject for Sionainn would probably be her health. People look at her and assume she doesn't take care of herself, that she's out of place in her role, that she's unhealthy. When she and Kaidan go out, she can see people assume that all the food that Kaidan plans to put away himself is mostly for her. But she loves moving. She eats as best she can in the military. She works out and gets all her appointments and her tests always comes back in range or very good. She prefers weights and punching bags and yoga and sparring. She has the attraction of a good person and a support system of people who really know her and care for her, but it doesn't get easier for her to see the judgement or the dismissal from people who claim to see her as the accomplished person she is just because she isn't what they think she should be.

Oof, biggest fear is a toughie. Going deep? Being alone/forgotten, or further rejection. Being a spacer brat meant she had a lot of long distance friendships that faded away, no matter how hard she tried to keep them alive. And she tried. Losing a lot of those friendships left a mark. She had few relationships she could physically maintain, and most of them were her mother's family on Earth, and a few friends who lived on stations that didn't move as often. She felt apart from people, and as she got older, worried she wouldn't be able to maintain friendships. The Normandy changed everything for her in that sense. She also didn't know what it was like to be romantically pursued, and was often rejected for friends. The one time she was pursued, it didn't end well, and she assumed she'd just be rejected if she tried and stopped looking. The Normandy changed everything for her in that sense, too. But the fear of being too much for people, or unwanted or unloveable, is always there nipping at her heels. She just tries to shut it down and remind herself that she isn't alone, and she has staying power in the lives of the people she loves. Also she's afraid of like pitch black dark. Something about it unsettles her. She gets teased for it sometimes given her profession and location, but she manages. She can force herself through it. Crawly things also freak her out.

A few things! A nice cup of coffee is always a good thing. Also just putting on some of her favorite songs and getting singy and dancy. Getting cozy with a nice book and a warm drink is always comforting. And if someone brings her tiramisu it's over it's a good day. (if Kaidan has anything to do with any of it, there's like bonus points, but that's cheating). If Tali's free she likes to watch vids with her and invite anyone else who'd like to join in so she can surround herself with the laughter of people she loves.

Growing up she was shy, and wasn't always treated kindly when she did get past it. As she got older, she got better at making friends. Once she opened up she was joyous and silly and welcoming and listened and remembered. But a lot of those relationships faded over time due to changes and distance. By the time she was on the Normandy, she could succeed in and win over entire rooms, but it was keeping the people in those rooms around that was the challenge. Whatever the crew of the SR-1 went through, however they bonded in such a way that she not only won them over, but kept them close. Maybe it was the length of the mission. Maybe it was how easily they all became family. Maybe it was her brand of leadership or the the blended state of the crew. After that, she felt more confident and was able to better make friends all through the hunt for Saren and the Collectors and the Reaper War.

5) The government led after Khan, has decreased factory gas prices nationally. This is excellent for the Pakistani economy.

They ran away from the country of their birth, Pakistan, rather than facing the justice from the corrupt Lawyers and the Judges, who had sold their conscious to them for pennies or for a promise of a job or a promotion.

Imran Khan, is no doubt making waves right in the very heart of Pakistan’s political spectrum. The achievements of the PTI government are unprecedented and surpassed by any previous government, and overcome various challenges.

He was honored by Allah سبحانه و تعالى and His Last Prophet Muhammad  صلى الله عليه و سلم as their guest in His House, the Ka’bah, in Makkah Mukarramah and inside his Roudah Mubarak (روضه مبارك) in Madinah Munawwarah, respectively. I am sure he must have cried there and asked for forgiveness and Allah سبحانہ و تعالٰی  is a Forgiving Merciful God. I strongly believe that he will be able to fulfill his promise. He also promised the nation that he will re-establish the state of Madinah under Shar’ah, wherein all citizens will have equal rights under the law. He also promised to eradicate poverty in a country where all people will be able live in peace and harmony with each other as One Nation under Almighty God, as promised by him. ان شاء اللہ ۔

Lastly, yet importantly, I advise you to please do the following, which are under your direct control: 

Obey Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and His Last Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam. If you don’t, you are challenging the Authority of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, Who made Imran Khan the Prime Minister of Pakistan for and His Will shall be done, no matter what you do.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala works in a beautiful and miraculous ways. He has created a Moses for every Pharaoh and Imran Khan is that Moses, who is going to take care of you all, who were acting as  Pharaohs during your rule in Pakistan.

The following is the full text of the message issued by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, on the occasion of Nowruz, the start of the Iranian new year, March 20, 2024.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

O Transformer of hearts and sightsO Director of nights and days Transformer of situations and circumstances, Transform our circumstances to the best of circumstances!

I would like to extend my congratulations to the entire Iranian nation on the arrival of Nowruz and the beginning of this new year, which has coincided with the blessed month of Ramadan, the spring of the hearts, and the spring of spirituality.  I would especially like to extend my congratulations to the families of the war veterans as well as all the other nations who celebrate Nowruz.

I would also like to pay my respects to our dear martyrs and the Imam of the Martyrs, who paved this path for the Iranian nation. I hope the Iranian nation will benefit from both springs – both the spring of nature and the spring of spirituality.

Let’s review the year 1402 AHS [March 2023 - March 2024], which has just ended, and take a look at the year that we have just entered. The year 1402, just like all the other years of our lives, was filled with both sweet and bitter moments. It was filled with both desirable and undesirable events. This is the nature of the world and the nature of life itself. In the country’s internal affairs, we saw significant progress throughout the country in the fields of science, technology, and basic infrastructure. These were some of the pleasant things that we experienced. On the other hand, the problems that people encountered with regard to the economy and their livelihood were some of the bitter events that we witnessed.

The epic participation of the people in the Quds Day and 22nd of Bahman rallies, these magnificent rallies being carried out in safety, the elections being held in safety and without corruption at the end of the year, and other situations where the public displayed their presence were some of the pleasant, desirable events that took place during the year that has passed. The tragic event that took place in Kerman on the anniversary of Martyr Soleimani’s [assassination], the floods that swept through Baluchestan at the end of the year, and the occurrences that our security forces and our maintainers of security have encountered during the past few months were among the bitter events that we witnessed during the past year. And the most tragic of all was the tragic event that occurred in Gaza – an event that holds great importance in our international affairs. We did not experience anything more tragic than that this year.

Regarding foreign matters, the government’s actions in the international arena in various economic and political fields were some of the pleasant, desirable events. As I have already mentioned, the tragic event in Gaza was not just one of the most tragic events. Rather, it was the most tragic event for us in the international field. I ask Almighty God to compensate for these bitter events and to continue granting the Iranian nation and the Muslim nations pleasing events and that which is a source of goodness and blessings for the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation.

As for the slogan that I announced in 1402 AHS, which was “Inflation control and growth in production,” good measures have been taken. Accomplishments have been made regarding both sections of the slogan. And progress has been made, but not to the extent that was desired. God willing, I will address this in more detail in my speech today to the Iranian nation. The measures that were taken were good, but they must continue. This slogan is not one that we should expect will yield the desirable result in just one year. It shall continue.

There is a great amount of work that needs to be done in the year ahead of us that we have just entered, and we must fulfill our responsibilities with regard to the tasks at hand. Our country’s officials, our government officials, the parliament, the judiciary, the public, and others – all of us need to fulfill our duties for the various tasks in different areas. But the main issue the country is facing again this year is the economy. The country’s main weakness is in the field of economics. We must be active in this field.   

After studying the opinions of the experts on this subject, I have come to this conclusion that the key to solving the country’s economic problems lies in production – domestic production, national production. This is why we have focused so much on production over the past few years. If growth in production and advancements in domestic production are pursued in a suitable manner, many of the country’s key economic issues, such as inflation, employment, and the value of our national currency, will be solved in a desirable manner.

Therefore, production is an important issue and that is why I am once again focusing on this matter this year. I expect, I am anticipating , God willing, that we will witness a surge in production. In addition to this, I truly believe that this surge will not take place without the presence and participation of the people.

If we plan to increase our production rapidly, we need to get the people actively involved in the economy. We must pave the way for the people to get involved in production in a tangible manner and remove the obstacles that stand in the way to their participation. There are great capacities in the public sector, which I will explain, God willing. These capacities must become active. They should be used for the benefit of the country and the people. It is for this reason that the slogan that I have chosen for this year is, “Surge in production through people’s participation.” This is the slogan for this year. I hope, God willing, this slogan will be actualized in the best possible way. It is necessary for those who are making the plans for the country to create plans, for experts to collaborate by providing their thoughts, and for those who are active in the economic sector to, God willing, actively participate in this endeavor.

I pray that Almighty God will grant the great, beloved Iranian nation success, and I humbly extend my greetings to the Remnant of God on earth (may our souls be sacrificed for his sake). I ask God to hasten his reappearance as this, in turn, will bring relief to all of humanity.

May God’s greetings, mercy, and blessings be upon you.

Aaron Donald leaves a legacy of greatness

What can you say that hasn’t already been said about Aaron Donald? Defensive Rookie of the Year. Pro Bowler. All-Pro. Team leader. Super Bowl champion.  With Donald, one superlative triumphs another. That’s how great he was as a player in the National Football League (NFL). With his announcement that came via the social media platform “X” (formerly known as Twitter), that he has decided to hang up his cleats for good, Donald leaves behind some big shoes for the Los Angeles Rams to fill.

When Donald played, you knew that he was giving every ounce of dripping sweat to try to win a football game.

Donald did much of that during his amazing 10-year career in the NFL.  During a decade-long career of playing grit and grind football, Donald became enemy No. 1 for opposing quarterbacks. At the time he announced his retirement, Donald wrapped up his career with 111 sacks.  Considering the number of times that he was often doubled-teamed and triple-teamed throughout his career, Donald became football’s version of “The Equalizer.” Whenever the Rams' defense encountered some difficulty, Donald was always the solution. Just ask Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.  It was Donald who sealed the deal for the Rams to win Super Bowl LVI when he brought the heat to Burrow and forced the Cincinnati quarterback into a harmless incomplete throw on 4th-and-1 with seconds remaining in the game.  “We are so grateful for Aaron’s dedication to greatness and for leading our franchise on and off the field for the past decade,” said Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke.  “He has left his mark on generations of football fans and his accomplishments, coupled with his work ethic and passion, continue to inspire his teammates, coaches and athletes across the globe. It is a privilege to have witnessed one of the greatest players of all time and we are proud that Aaron Donald will forever be part of NFL history as a member of the Rams,” Kroenke added.  The moment was never too big for Donald. Perhaps more impressive than Donald’s ferocity in which he played is the fact he was there. Despite the relentless physical punishment he absorbed over the years by just being in the trenches, Donald was almost always present and ready to go on game day.

He was named to the Pro Bowl 10 times. And there is the matter of Donald being tapped to win the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year award three times (2017, 2018, 2020).  You just don’t replace Aaron Donald. But the Rams are now tasked to do just that as the team prepares for the 2024 NFL season. That’s one gaping hole to fill.
