First Word: No idea. Turns out my parents kept a baby book for my older brother where they painstakingly recorded all of that stuff. I found mine a few years ago and it’s got a grand total of 3 entries, one of which is talking about how chubby I am, and how I am yet to find a food I’ll say no to, and let’s hope that’s not a sign of things to come… after which it was abandoned. First Celebrity Crush: Leonardo DiCaprio

First IRL Crush: Dominik. We hung out basically every day after school. I would go round to his house and he would play me the latest Michael Jackson tape and show me new dance steps that he’d taught himself. I thought he was so cool.

First Kiss: Age 14 with my first boyfriend. He was 20 years old. We were in a relationship for over a year. Shit was fucked up. At the risk of repeating myself… Thanks mum.

First Time on a Plane: I was… 18 months old? Parents went on holidays to Florida. I have about 3 memories from that trip.

First Concert: David Hasselhoff. I was maybe… 6? And I got very tired and slept through the second half, but my parents woke me up for Looking for Freedom, which was my favourite song of his.

First Foreign country you visited? Italy or France most likely. Pure proximity, and most of our family vacations were done by car from Switzerland so…

First sport you ever played? Hmm. I did competitive swimming when I was very young. And then gymnastics. And after that… about five minutes of football (the only sport I to this day do not understand. How do I run AND kick a ball simultaneously?!?), then 3 years of tennis, 2 years of basketball, 8 years of roller hockey, and a whole smattering of other sports on and off.

First career aspiration? I mean… I basically wanted to be a Disney Princess, purely for the Animal Best Friend aspect! And then any form of Animal Whisperer would have done the trick. I watched all the TV shows and movies where characters had magical bonds with animals, and I wanted that. And then I realised that the characters in the shows and movies aren’t real, but the people training and handling those animals *are*. However that wasn’t something realistic to aspire to, being Swiss, so instead I became a bookseller (somehow that made sense at the time… 🤷🏽‍♂️). And then 15 years later, in a different country and a different life, I did end up training animals for TV and film. So that’s kinda nifty.

And finally… tell me about the first time you wrote/drew/created/whatever something that made you think “wow”

Hmmm. I dunno. I thought I was really fucking talented when I was about 12. I wrote a novel and sent it to publishing houses and literary agencies. One of them invited me for an interview, because they thought my writing was great and they wanted to meet the kid that had sent them a manuscript aged 12/13. They ended up giving me a job, working as a admin/secretary/slush pile reader. They also gave me lots of feedback and constructive criticism on my writing. I scrapped the novel I had sent them in favour of writing a different, better novel. I still think that novel was pretty fucking good. I tried to get my mum to proof read it and give me feedback so I could do any necessary corrections before I spent my pocket money on photocopies, C4 envelopes, and a whole bunch of stamps so I could attempt to get it published again. She was dragging her feet and I tried to explain the urgency, because I was clear that it needed to happen before I turned 14. That was the goal in my head. I had huge ambitions and dreams. I was also convinced that if it happened after I turned 14 it wouldn’t be special anymore. Like anyone could do it after 14… 🙄 In response to this my mum told me that she’d had ambition and dreams, too, when she was my age. But not to worry, that’ll go away, and once you’ve put away the fanciful notions of being talented then you can just get on with your life…

Not sure if this actually answers the question, but that was kinda the first and last time I remember feeling uncomplicatedly good about and proud of something I created. After this anything creative I did was always immediately followed by the doubt of ‘is this actually good, or is this just a fanciful notion I have about being talented, when in actual fact it sucks?’ 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bit overcast

Tuesday morning Jose wasn’t feeling 100% so I left him in bed and met Marjolein for a ride. It was a nice ride though on a route we’ve both only done once before shepherded by someone else so there were a few wrong turns.

On the way home we headed to Yari’s only to find she is closed this week 😩 Happily we found another coffee stop and as you’ll see from the photo the result was pretty good 😋 By now it was quite windy so a bit if a slog home.

Jose was feeling better but still slept most of the afternoon. Thankfully it was a pretty mundane stage of Le Tour today up until the last about 8kms.

I spent the afternoon intermittently watching Le Tour and doing some of my Spanish homework which I hadn’t yet touched (thank goodness my lesson isn’t until Friday this week).

Late afternoon we went for a stroll around town, picked up some groceries and had a drink before a quiet night out on the balcony (before the mosies chased us inside.

Wednesday morning was an earlyish start as Jose was taking Tessi off for her annual service. I spent the morning doing errands and admin.

Late this afternoon we had a bbq on the balcony while we watched a very exciting stage of TDF - go Jai.

The last few days it’s got very overcast occasionally rainy late in the afternoon so we haven’t been for an afternoon swim all week. This afternoon was no different, we went for a stroll, a drink and picked up some groceries before heading home for nibbles on the balcony.

Aftercare headcanons for the boys?

Oi, oi, oi!! ✌️✌️ It’s Yariiiiiii! Aftercare is such a must, even in basic/vanilla scenes and activities. *sigh* We love it. 

Also, considering that every individual needs a different sort of aftercare and I didn’t want to write generically, here’s what each of the boys need for aftercare!

No matter how long the two of you have been together, after a scene, Toono’s drops are nearly catastrophic when you’re finished, top or bottom. Of course, he always puts his partner first, but what he’s really looking for is that reassurance from them. Did I do okay? Was I good? Lots and lots of praise and affirmation. He’s heavy on the verbal aftercare, but physically he tends to shrink away, feeling a bit overstimulated, like all of his senses have burnt out. It’s best to leave those aspects out, but he’ll never turn down some head pats.

Kashima is a talker. Before, during, and especially after, the man runs his mouth at ten miles a minute. After a scene, Kashima of course waits for you to catch your breath, only pausing a moment before the questions start. It’s a healthy analysis of everything that just happened. Reviewing his work as a top with his bottom is a form of aftercare in itself for him. Even after you’re back to baseline, he will not stop talking. He just wants to know everything went smoothly, in a more logistical sense (it’s a sports metaphor for game play strategies). Don’t be surprised if long after you’re asleep, he’s still talking through the motions, muttering and mumbling play by plays till he’s exhausted himself.

Most likely to secretly work at LUSH Cosmetics goes to Yacchan. He’s perfected a million different combinations of oils, melts, soaps and scents to suit any mood. There’s incense, there’s candles, there’s white noise. It’s an instant wave of relaxation to help him clear out his mind. Aspiring? Newbie? Plan to sell? I know, we all know business can make easy money and make us leverage. Again, “““easy money”””. It’s not easy money but it turns you to be leverage. Sa una yes, mahirap kasi tatawanan ka lang and all, pero tuloy mo lang. I know I don’t have yet the urge to teach you, pero walang gusto ko lang tumulong. This is just basic tips on handling business, specifically online selling. Kasi patok ngayon and mahirap trabaho ngayon.

And,I just want to enlight people na nasasabihang joy reserver and scammer. Busines is not just business, na basta basta. You should have knowledge about business. Learn before earn.

here’s a tip. I’m not an entrepreneur or business related college level nor an professional entrepeneur. Just your typical downline entrepeneur pa lang, but want to urge to teach you.

1. Long-tempered - Ayan. Actually, very, very long tempered. Marami talaga so called “joy reserver”. They don’t scam or fool you, they don’t just have the money yet, they’re just asking para sa susunod nakapaghanda na. Wag mairita na mangloloko. Kulitin mo na lang para sayo bumili. Wag ka lang mapressure na dapat bumili sayo. Mahirap kumita ng pera. And, dapat alamin mo muna na kung bibili ba or hindi, hayaan mo siya magsabi ng kailan siya bibili and all. Wag yung uunahan mo na.

2. Post lang nang post - Ilang linggo na ba, wala pa rin? Its been months, wala pa rin? No worries, ganyan talaga ang buhay. Post ka lang nang post.. Dapat nga every week ang pagpopost eh. Every day pa nga. Basta madalas ka may post, iba ibang caption. Kumbaga, ibang ad ng business mo. Ganern. Wag ka lang magpost, magchat ka din sa di mo kakilala.

3. Group page - Marami ka dapat group page. Lahat salihan mo, school markets and luzon, visayas mindanao buy and sell, pati foreign salihan mo. As long as mga buy and sell groups. Mahirap na kung kalokohan group, tapos nagpost ka. yari ka sa admin, maattitude pa naman ibang kabataan ngayon. Share mo yung business post mo from your timeline or either, create a post on your own. Pwede din from your page, ayan, mas maganda may page din ng business.

4. Don’t be a Whiner - Ayaw bumili, hayaan mo. Nagiinquire lang, hayaan mo. Marami pa diyan iba. Pwede din, kulitin mo hangat bumili sayo pag may pera na. Wag unahin ang init ng ulo at magreklamo. Kalma! Baka mahigh blood. Ano ba mas marami, kakilala mo or di mo kakilala? Take note, strangers always the supporter and your closest is the enemy.

5. Think Positive - (Stay negative to Covid or any illnesses) Ayan, whatever it takes dapat mindset is positive. Nakakadown talaga magbusiness, nakakadisappoint pero tuloy ka lang. Malalagpasan mo rin ang kahirapan. Once nalagpasan mo na, madali na lang. Wag mo itulad sarili mo sa mga successful, kasi sila nahirapan sila dati.

6. Payment first policy - Whatever it takes, always on a payment first. Kamaganak mo or di mo kakilala, payment first palagi. Oh and, dapat alamin mo muna kung bibili iyan di yung kukuha ka agad tapos di pala. Plan their sched when bibili. Wag din yang negotiable price, bebe, malulugi iyang negosyo mo okaya unfair sa mga reseller katulad mo, nagbibigay ng mababang price. Learn to respect other reseller, lalo na kung nakikibenta ka lang. Your business, your rules. Wag magisip ng “eh kawawa naman mga iba tao gusto bumili” magbebenta ka tapos mababa? Edi nagcharity ka na lang bebe. Wag din magaabono. Bebe, negosyo iyan hindi trabaho.

7. Follow entrepreneur people - Kung ano ka, sundin mo kung ano gusto mo. Kumbaga, mga mentors mo lang iyan kung self-taught ka. Ako kasi tinuruan ako, I have trained. Kung hindi naman, sa youtube. Marami diyan. Aralin mo. Wag basta basta. Oh and, dapat wag mahaba ang caption. You know people tamad magbasa. Ikaw nga diba, di mo binabasa ang terms and conditions.

8. Humble - No matter what, kahit sabihin mo nagbooming ka first time mo, wag magpapakampante or lalaki ulo. Learn to down on earth. Kung saan ka nanggaling, don ka pa rin. Marami din magaasar sayo na “ay tagabenta na lang”, “graduate ka diba, ph d pa, bakit tagabenta”. Remember number 7, successful people. Wag ka rin magcocompare sa iba mo kapareha, wag maninira sa kapareho mo kasi iiba iba kayo ng taste ng benta mo. Kung resell, iba iba lugar and strategy. Minsan nasa ugali ng seller kaya mabenta, may iba dahil sa page or caption niya. Marami, aralin mo kakayahan mo.

9. WORK HARD - No caption needed.

10. Trustworthy - ITO DAPAT. Yes, last but not the least. Diba dapat una? Mas maganda huli, para special. Well, hindi lang siya sa business, lahat dapat may trust. Tiwala sa sarili mo, sa clients and buyers, sa products mo.

11. ENJOY - Enjoyin mo lang  Don’t pressure on selling, laruin mo lang. Trial and error. Kung ayaw, hayaan mo na. Basta gawin mo lang part mo. Wag ka rin magaaway.

Ayan lang mga maipapayo ko. Basic tips lang iyan pero malaki laki. Kung ikaw, nahihirapan nasa gitna ka na, ayos lang iyan, tumuloy ka lang. As I said, mas marami di mo kakilala. Marami tao sa mundo.

There’s more a lot to came from, pero iyan lang pinakabasic na aaralin ng first time or aspiring. Again, I am not a professional entreprenur or business related level, pero just helping. I’m also an entrepreneur who want to help other seller.

Hindi ako marami alam, yan lang mga natutunan ko mga panahong nagsesell ako at mga natutunan ko sa training ko and youtube. Oh and, baka sabihin pangnetworker iyan since I’m a networker. Networking is a kind of business. Also, I sell non-frontrow products.
