          nearly a week of festivities has worn him out in all senses. keung sets himself out, unfurling in the streets and lands barely a twenty minute walk from bryant park at the esplanade. it strikes amusement that being down steam from riker’s might have felt a dangerous place to be a couple years ago. how the scale has shifted to accommodate for the world’s larger horrors. a sigh settles across in the slouch of shoulders still adorn in a re-worn custom, newly unburdened of a large social responsibility. 

he’ll go back, eventually, but for now he taps a cigarette from the crushed packet in his best pocket and watches the city lights glitter awake for the evening on the surface of the east river.

  Dane touches his arm with that ever so astounding observation and it takes everything Dawn has in him to fight the urge to flinch back. He’s fine with physical contact if it’s for the sake of fun, but not -- this. This ventures into territories he’s never been able to handle. There’s a look in Dane’s eyes that rubs him the wrong way. If Dawn didn't know better, he'd think it to be worry.

  “I’m not,” he insists, yet the gooseflesh risen on his arms speaks for itself. October comes to a close much colder than Dawn anticipated, in his thin jacket and ripped jeans. His demon blood doesn’t make him invulnerable to the cold, much to his chagrin. He frowns down at where Dane’s hand still rests. Oh, how he loathes when he sounds as though he means what he says. It always makes his knees buckle just a little. This is what he gets for staying out with him until nightfall.   A breeze ruffles his hair. It’s as soft as it is cold, an icy fingers tracing the line of his spine. Dawn shivers. He’s just about had enough of this, sitting here staring at the empty sky. With a huff, he rises to his feet, tugging his jacket tighter around his body. It frees him of Dane’s touch, the invisible imprint of his fingers lingering like an echo, and the needy part of him wants it back so, so badly. Wants to press himself close and soak up whatever warmth Dane provides, wants to have him against him and not let go until the sun rises again.   Dawn brushes the thoughts aside. Since their impromptu trip through the damned desert, they hound him, somehow always in the back of his mind.   “Let’s just -- go.” He turns away from him. His breath clouds in the air with every word, dissipating in a lazy, translucent white curl. “We’ve been out here long enough. I’m tired.”

     being an adult meant that sometimes alex could get to work and decide that he didn’t really want to be there the whole time. after a few dances and grinding on a few rich people’s laps, he pocketed his money and couldn’t get out the door fast enough. he hadn’t even bothered to change fully into his normal clothes, keeping his golden booty shorts on as he drove back home. speeding just a little bit, he was home pretty quickly. the sky was long dark by now, but he knew that as soon as he got home the others would be awake still. though he’s been around people for the last few hours and could go happily into an empty room, he couldn’t deny any attention he might get from them. 

     walking into the apartment he didn’t expect to find them like that. in a position that made his lips quirk up to the side a little. he tilted his head to the side slightly and looked over towards the couch. “oh. is this what you two get up to while i’m away?” he asked, amusement laced in his voice. something stirred inside of him as he looked over the scene. this wasn’t the worst thing to walk into.

There was never a reason to seek out a Vampire and if Seojun could have had it his way, they would have just been exterminated.  Unfortunately, playing God was never something that Seojun wanted to do - he would rather be the exterminator.  Someone needed to do the heavy lifting, especially during this time of so-called "peace".  The soldier's belief in lasting peace was minimal.  Peace was a fantasy, a fleeting moment that made people too comfortable.

"Hmm," Seojun frowned as he unfolded his arms.  His footsteps were light, casual as he walked toward a particular vampire.  As he walked forward, he slid his hands into the front pockets of his jacket;  violence was something he was supposed to avoid, so this was a momentary reminder.  He sighed as he finally walked over in front of the figure.  "We need to talk," was all he bothered to say as his eyes scanned the man in front of him.

Осень в Хогвартсе №1 Северус, с трудом сдерживая раздражение, оглядел зал и снова принялся терзать ножом уже остывший кусок стейка. Сотни лиц, а ему хотелось видеть только одно; разнообразие блюд на столе, ему бы хватило одного; привычные коридоры и классные комнаты, ему же хотелось скорее вернуться в еще малознакомый, но уже свой дом. Как некстати школу навестил министр магии, заняв директора на пол дня, из-за чего педсовет, первый (и да несомненно очень важный!) в этом году, пришлось перенести на время после ужина. Северус конечно тут же отправил сову Гермионе, но он знал, что эта упрямица обязательно дождется его, скорее всего скоротав время за новой книгой. От одной мысли о будущей миссис Снейп, ему стало еще тоскливее наблюдать, как медленно ползет минутная стрелка. by Aheret
