I love the train of thought au! I hate Tumblr though, especially mobile Tumblr. Had to scroll for 30~20 minutes to reach the bottom of the tag. (Mobile Tumblr reloaded at least a few times and I almost threw my phone. I think I cried twice in frustration.)

I am absolutely foaming at the mouth because I've always liked the way Ingo and Emmet get presented, the characterizations are just so... Mwah 🤭.

For some reason the only thing I could think about after spending an entire night reading that wall of posts was the concept of big brother Ingo.

Sorry if I'm ranting here, it really has nothing pertaining to the au at all but I hate this concept, especially the societal concept that the older brother takes care of the younger one. Twins especially since they are usually born minutes from each other and that really doesn't mean anything different in experience.

Yes, Emmet is younger but I've always pictured him as the headstrong one that stands up for Ingo more often than not. (Honestly that's the vibe they give off collectively). I like to think of them as not in a big brother, little brother dynamic but a "we been through so much shit together we support each other fully" dynamic. I do understand why people like using it though.

Wait, what was this post about again? I swear I'm not trying to negatively rant right after bringing up stuff that plagued my mind while reading. I guess all I want to say is thank you for hosting this wonderful community au on your blog.

Hey there OP! Glad you like it, I do too!!! (Still working on that masterpost ^^;) and apologies with tumblr mobile, I know it’s not the best with optimization!

I’m putting a readmore below because I got a lot more detailed than I intended to, regarding Ingo and Emmet’s sibling dynamic.

I like your views because it really isn’t as black and white (ha) as all that. I am a twin myself, the younger between us (and also by a few minutes) and throughout our lives it certainly has gone back and forth with us, but there’s really no definite position of looking after the other, just like with any other sibling relationship.

Given how Ingo and Emmet are, I imagine their dynamic very similar to what you’re talking about, being each others’ full supporters. Multiple lines in Masters EX show this, like these few from Emmet:

"Ingo and I are twins. We're both Subway Bosses, and we're each other's closest rival! We always challenge each other to get better. That's the kind of relationship we have! It's always a lot of fun when we're together!"

However, I feel like Ingo might feel… I don’t want to say obligated, because it’s certainly not work, and he knows very well Emmet can fend for himself, but perhaps inclined (pressured? By himself??) to carry through with what’s normally expected of an older brother. He might feel like he should look out for Emmet when he can:

“My younger brother, Emmet, would always entertain passengers on the Battle Subway... Now he is enjoying being a host here on Pasio. However, he's still new to this style of hospitality. Would you mind keeping an eye on him?"

And this might be somewhat spurred by the fact that Emmet looks up to Ingo, which I am sure Emmet has made Ingo aware of - he just might not want to let Emmet down:

"Do you have any siblings? I have an older brother, Ingo. He's verrrry strong. He hardly ever loses in Pokémon battles. Even though I also hold the title of Subway Boss, I really look up to him."

I do feel Emmet is very ready to support Ingo as well, seeing as how in their story event in Masters EX, Emmet was trying very hard to help Ingo with a project of theirs:

"I want to make Ingo’s idea a reality! Please, let me do this!"

And regarding your thoughts that of the two, Emmet is more headstrong, I feel similarly, and think he would always very clearly stand up for Ingo when needed.

I do headcanon that growing up, Emmet was more outgoing than Ingo (and that this led him to meeting Elesa, the new exchange student at their school, and taking her over to Ingo to introduce her to him, since he was more reserved and shy - not terribly so, but more so than Emmet)

ALL IN ALL - both Ingo and Emmet fully support and help each other out whenever they need it. And while Ingo might feel pressured by himself to look out for Emmet as the older brother, Emmet naturally does it for Ingo just as much, if not a little more, simply due to his outgoing nature

To try and tie this back to Train of Thought AU, I’m sure Akari and Irida would see a lot of moments expressing this dynamic of theirs in the many memory traincars throughout the mind station.

AND MG Emmet himself is pretty much a monument to this. MG Emmet is doing everything he can to keep Ingo safe from the Remnant and to protect him, even at his own expense to some degree. MG Emmet might only be a mental projection of how Ingo sees his brother, but the fact that MG Emmet is doing that means Ingo knows Emmet would do things like that for him, and he would.

The closer I get to Lance's level, the more I understand what he meant about loving trusting Pokémon. That's why I can tell just how strong of a Trainer he is. I don't hundred-percent accept everything Lance says. I'll find my own way to keep getting stronger... together with my Pokémon.

Random conversation 2:

What are your thoughts about me becoming a Neo Champion, (Name)? Think I don't fit the part? Or maybe you're jealous? Hmph. I guess it doesn't matter as long as you still want to beat me.

They say Tyranitar's destructive power is so strong, it can make mountains crumble. Don't be scared of that when you face us in battle, OK? Battling cowards is boring.

Let's talk about Lusamine's affinity for parasitic life forms.

My biggest gripe with Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was the butchering of Lusamine's character; they removed so many story beats that were crucial to her, that it really dulled her down as an antagonist. I always felt that the Necrozma plot was awkwardly shoved into the game, and Lusamine's character assassination was the result.

HOWEVER.

I have been looking at it through a difference lens since Pokémon Masters EX released Lusamine's sync pair with Dusk Mane Necrozma.

The fact that Lusamine has bonded with not one, but TWO parasitic entities, is really interesting to me, because it is full of so much symbolism.

The plot with Nihilego, of course, has had many different interpretations; the "motherly love" interpretation is one that I stray away from in my blog canon. Lusamine's fixation on Nihilego, and her bond with it, is a result of fascination turning into delusion and madness. Her obsession with it's lack of emotion and efficient existence through a hive mind system led her to want to emulate that behavior. Of course, we all know what eventually happens, regardless of whether it is a canon or headcanon based interpretation: Lusamine is accepted by Nihilego, consumed, and becomes a host to it. And because she was a host, she lost autonomy and was driven insane by the neurotoxin.

That's a great story and all, and one that I am constantly trying to work out and restructure in the background for my own canon-- but now I am also looking at the Dusk Mane Necrozma implications.

Lusamine and Necrozma have a lot of shared themes and symbolism: being a source of light while simultaneously burning those around them, hungering for more power, living in a world that they were not born in, and being fractured. I do believe that Lusamine seeking to quell Necrozma in USUM had something to do with her being aware of these similarities, and deluding herself into believing that she was the only one capable of quelling this quasi-deity.

Only, she was NOT deluding herself, she was CORRECT.

Lusamine was capable of syncing with Necrozma and commanding it, but ONLY while it was ALREADY in possession of a host; Dusk Mane Necrozma is simply piloting the body of a Solgaleo, meaning, it is easier to be contained while it is feeding. And I think Lusamine knew what she was doing. She knew that she was compatible with this monster, but knew that it was parasitic in nature. THAT is the major difference between her dynamic with Nihilego, and the one with Necrozma: she is destroyed by UB-01 because it was a host-parasite relationship, instead of a balanced partnership like syncing. She did not allow Necrozma to control her.

That being said, there's still a lot of sad implications here: Lusamine syncing with a Pokémon that is using Solgaleo, a monster that her daughter was bonded to, is full of so much upsetting symbolism. She herself is a parasite, smothering Lillie's joy and other connections. There's no better representation of Lusamine and Lillie's toxic mother and daughter relationship than Dusk Mane Necrozma-- a form that gained its name because it represents the death of the sun before being overtaken by the night sky.

ALSO, the fact that Lusamine's dialogue lines in PokeMas suggesting that she views herself as a "guiding light," despite being paired up with the consumer of light, is another indication that she TRULY believes that she is some sort of superior entity and "savior," while channeling Necrozma's desire to "be full of light" and whole again. They really are parallels of each other. She is more in line with Necrozma's themes, than Nihilego's. That is why she stands at the side of Necrozma, and is doomed to be a servant of Nihilego.

All of them are parasites and all of them are connected, and it's not great.

What I'm currently thinking, is that the Nihilego plot AND the Necrozma plot can both exist at once-- Lusamine would not have the knowledge to sync with Dusk Mane Necrozma WITHOUT realizing that physically fusing with Nihilego did not work out.

We'll see how this develops in future plotting.

I have a couple of fic ideas I don’t really think I’ll ever actually write but keep returning to me, so as a New Year thing I wanted to list them briefly

• Fic about Emmet managing to get to the past and find Ingo but realizing that he has a life and community in Hisui. I mostly imagine the final confrontation between the brothers with Ingo still not remembering Emmet (who conceals his face during all this?) and Emmet bidding him farewell and just letting Ingo go, believing him to be happier in his new life here (theoretical fic would have a lot of emphasis on that one line Ingo has in Pokémon Masters EX, "In the future, if I ever reach my last stop as a Subway Boss...")

• Fic about Emmet and Elesa getting together after Ingo’s disappearance but Emmet having a lot of complicated feelings about it, including feeling guilty for being happy when Ingo is missing and wondering if Elesa just sees him as a replacement for Ingo (in some circumstances I’ve imagined Elesa having dated Ingo in the past), with Emmet eventually ending the relationship

• Fic about Ingo returning to present day but not remembering his relationship with Elesa and her deciding to not tell him about it and having to deal with the consequences of that, basically the “dramatic” version of “Are You Sure?”, notably the only one of these ideas I imagine with a happy ending after some heartache, also emphasis on aging (following the interpretation that Ingo has spent at least 10 years in Hisui)

...yeah, the running theme is angst. A fun fact, I am not opposed to writing angst but I feel I have a weakness of making it too overwrought and sophomoric. So I tend to stay away from it. I think writing lighter stuff is more fun anyways.

My thoughts on the best game-accurate Hisuian team for Emmet if he was in pla instead of Ingo, based on Ingo's canonical pla team

Crobat - Easily mirrors Ingo's Gliscor, what with both bats being found in both the Coronet Highlands and the Alabaster Icelands in their previous forms. Both Crobat and Gliscor can be found exclusively as alphas in the Coronet Highlands, but that doesn't really matter as Ingo's Gliscor is a regular Gliscor. Ingo's Gliscor is also likely meant to resemble Emmet with its permanent smile and its visual appearance appearance to Emmet's Archeops, which it also shares half its typing with.

Golem - Like how Machamp is an analog to Ingo's Gurdurr once it evolves into Conkeldurr (trade-evolution fighting-type) Golem is the analog to Emmet's Boldore once it evolves into Gigalith (trade-evolution rock-type)

Drapion - Since Ingo's Tangrowth is likely meant to resemble his Garbodor, the last Pokémon on his single line team, I think it would be more fitting for Emmet to catch a Skorupi over a Scyther to later evolve into a Scizor that would represent his Durant for the bug/steel typing, as Galvantula is the last member of Emmet's double line team. Skorupi/Drapion and Joltik/Galvantula have fairly similar body types/visual appearances/physical traits, and Skorupi at least has the bug typing before it evolves. Both Skorupi and Tangela are found in the Cobalt Coastlands, with their evolutions showing up in space-time distortions in the Alabaster Icelands

Magnezone - Ingo's Magnezone is likely meant to resemble his Klinklang, and since Ingo and Emmet have their own separate Klinklang unlike the other Pokémon that they share between them, Emmet should also get a Magnezone. It also helps that the only way to acquire the Magezone line outside of space-time distortions is to catch one of the two wild Magnezone flying around the Coronet Highlands

Probopass - With my best conclusion as to why Ingo has a Probopass being that an amnesiac living on a mountain would likely find having a living compass that also lives on that mountain to be helpful, I don't see why Emmet shouldn't also get a Probopass if he were in PLA instead of Ingo.

Gengar - I have no idea why Ingo has an Alakazam nor if it is meant to represent any of his Unovan Pokémon (possibly caught in the hope that it may help in recovering his memories through Alakazam's psychic/telepathic abilities?) so I'll go ahead and say Emmet gets a Gengar, which like Alakazam is a generation one trade evolution that can be found in its second stage form in both the Alabaster Icelands and in space-time distortions in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

All up that gives Emmet three poison types, which coincidentally matches the amount of bug types he uses in the present, as long as you exclude Escavalier from the Pokémon Masters Ex Tea Time event - which isn't really meant to be counted as canon by Gamefreak, as far as I'm aware.

Headcanon: Lake Spirit Characterizations

(This is the result of probably way too much overthinking and following various fridge logic rabbit holes for the purpose of a series of fics about the edges of the setting)

Arceus spoke then and said “Humans. They are the pinnacle of all Creation.”

The Being of Willpower proclaimed: “They hold the greatest capacity for willpower of any mortal species. Their drives to succeed may allow them to overcome any obstacle.”

The Being of Emotion rejoiced: “Their range of emotions is second to none! Their ability to form many lasting bonds may allow them levels of teamwork never seen before.”

The Being of Knowledge was silent for a moment, as was its nature. Then, with calm deliberation, it articulated: They hold great ingenuity. With their intelligence, they will one day become the masters of this world.

 They all looked at Uxie then, aghast. “What!?” Demanded Arceus. The master of memories replied only: “It is an observation of the range of abilities they will learn.” This mollified the Original One, who nodded in understanding.

As far as the lake trio is concerned, humanity (or sapient life in general for PMD settings) is collectively the crown jewel of the universe. They regard themselves as benevolent guardians and maintainers of the universe (and Sinnoh in particular). But their definition of `benevolent’ may not always line up with our definition.

The Lake Trio’s mindsets should be somewhat alien and inhuman. Aside from being Pokémon rather than humans, they are (depending on one’s interpretation) primordial spirits/deities/etc embodying and mediating (in the same way that bosonic fields mediate the fundamental forces of nature) certain facets of the mind. As such, their views on issues such as life/death and good/evil should not necessarily line up with what humans may view as sane/benevolent (no matter how benevolent the three try to be). We can go more in detail for each.

Azelf

As far as Azelf is concerned, the more willpower/determination/etc a being has, the more alive they are; Life is good thus the more willpower/determination/etc a being has, the better.

>Regards its ability to strip someone of all willpower to be potentially the harshest ironic punishment it can give to a wrongdoer - essentially all-but dead and trapped perhaps desiring to fully die but unable to see it through

Supremely stubborn. Willpower is about sticking to a course once a decision has been made. 

Generally highly favors anyone determined to achieve nigh impossible goals. Especially if it is a benevolent goal or - perhaps even better, if the only reason for trying to achieve one’s goal is to be able to say that one was determined enough to succeed at it (ex: mountain climbing, speed running, trying to become a Pokémon Master, etc). That said, Azelf does not always pay attention to what the determined person’s decisions and goals are. To paraphrase: ‘That’s not my department.’

>Imagine the personification of every training montage scene ever made, is the personality we're going for here. Alternatively, Kamina (See: "We brawlers are sustained by willpower! Even when mocked as reckless and crazy!"/"Kick reason to the curb and surpass the impossible!")

To extend the previous metaphor: generally of the opinion that you doing something after a training montage to prepare for it is better than not doing something after not having a training montage, whatever it is you're doing.

Accordingly, does not entirely comprehend the idea that willful (and/or premeditated) crimes can be inherently wrong/immoral - or at least more so than if the crime was accidental. (The logic roughly being that one who is determined enough to achieve a desired result is more mentally healthy -and thus alive - than they would be if they just gave up.)

>May or may not have noticed a bonfire of willpower growing up in nearby Sunnyshore, and may or may not have psychically stoked that human’s determination without bothering to find out who the person was or what he inevitability became determined to do. Oops. 

Similarly, basically thoroughly subscribes to Green Lantern Theory. (If, after the events in Sinnoh with Team Galactic probably prove Azelf definitively exists and lives in its lake, then in the scenario where Azelf starts paying close attention to contemporary human culture (due to religious offerings or more frequent interaction with humans on more than an abstract level? Depends on which canon, really) and some kind of fictional ‘Green Lanturn’ comic exists which Azelf finds out about, there’s a non-insignificant chance of Azelf decorating its home with merchandise of such)  

Is almost convinced that Uxie is aware of everything on a more than abstract level. Given the above, Azelf would be more pissed at Uxie than Team Galactic itself following the events at Mt Coronet.

>“Uxie almost certainly knew of Team Galactic’s plans. And it did nothing to stop them beforehand. Nothing! Did Uxie want events to play out as they did? At least Team Galactic had a goal and was determined to see it though. That my lake was bombed and we were captured and mutilated meant that their will to do so outstripped my will to stop them. And when they with their strong-willed leader were in turn defeated at Spear Pillar by mortal heroes with our assistance, they were less determined to destroy this universe than we were to preserve it. Proof that in the end, the will to help and protect will always be greater than the will to annihilate - and the end of a long and challenging journey that gave those righteous heroes the opportunity to grow in their courage and determination to succeed  …..Perhaps it was good that this occurred, and Uxie acted correctly after all.”

Thinks the human profession of helping people recognize and willpower away their emotions (or pain or logic or…) is one of the greatest achievements of humanity.

Insofar as Azelf regards conflict as a test of opposing wills, regards Tapu Koko as a sort of Protégé.

>In anime canon, this is likely how Tapu Koko knew about Ash in advance. Lots of telepathic raving about this absolutely most amazing human, and how Tapu Koko would agree if it met him, followed by forewarning that he's coming to Alola.

Aside from Psychic type, thinks the best type is Fighting (or perhaps Dark?).

Mesprit

As far as Mesprit is concerned, it is the capability for emotions -the phenomenon that enables decision-making - that distinguishes between someone who is alive from one who merely exists. Generally,  individuals feeling positive emotions or making decisions that lead to positive emotions is preferable to negative emotions or decisions that lead to negative emotions. Both are preferable to feeling no emotions at all.

As such, regards the act of removing this capability to be the harshest and cruelest punishment it can execute. After all, Apathy is Death.

Favors those with great empathy or compassion or who are generally strongly emotional. Those with great skill in the power of friendship are loved by Mesprit

In some sense, it is the most benevolent of the three. Mercy and compassion and the need for justice are emotions, after all, and feel good, and acting on them makes others feel good. 

In a similar sense, could potentially be regarded as the cruelest/most petty of the three. Negative emotions are also strong weights in decision-making. Further, while highly personal negative actions targeting others (or at least those who aren’t currently experiencing any emotions for reasons Mesprit isn’t personally responsible for) may not make them feel good, they will instigate some emotional response. 

Doesn’t fully comprehend how the phrase ‘crime of passion’ isn’t a paradox, or why acts categorized as such would be considered immoral. Passion is a net good, isn’t it? And decisions made off strong emotions mean that the decision tree is operating properly, right? Would it really be better for someone not to be capable of feeling whatever instigating emotion is responsible?

Personality-wise, think ‘faery’ from the Seelie Court, with bits of 'benevolent Disney fairy'. Generally helpful whimsical being which can be cruel when sufficiently angered. One guess which (non-Psychic?) type is its favorite.

The events in Sinnoh lead to the hero from Twinleaf Town becoming regarded by Mesprit as its favorite human.

>If Anime canon, or at least if the hero from Twinleaf doesn’t catch (or decides to release) Mesprit, the fact that Twinleaf is so close to its home means it may frequently visit the human after the latter has returned home. Those who threaten (let alone hurt) this human should be afraid of cruel and unusual punishments. Very afraid.

Thinks the human professions which involve instigating strong emotions in an audience are among the greatest achievements of humanity. Similarly, that humans have such expansive monkeyspheres makes us the most wonderful beings to ever exist.

Uxie

Uxie knows.

Uxie’s description of its guiding worldview, if asked (or perhaps one of its siblings’ answers in speaking what they believe Uxie would say), might be thus: “It is memory, the attainment and retainment of knowledge, that makes sentience, let alone sapience, possible. Without it, decisions cannot be made nor acted upon reliably, nor can the results be evaluated for future decisions to act upon. Without the capacity for it, a being can - even if technically alive - be little more than part of the landscape. It allows not just for continuity of the Individual, but for growth and change. It is the general preservation of the sense-making tool which is most important, for in a very real sense a person who loses it ceases to be.”

>If asked about its ability to make people forget things, and why it doesn't find the act morally objectionable given its worldview, it would likely respond that "There are times when forgetting is for the best."

There are few who remember how, early on, Uxie was once a smug (telepathically) talkative know-it-all.  No one remembers what caused this to no longer be the case.

It is not exactly the nature of memory to take an active role in the mind like emotions and willpower do. Memory is generally a passive support structure. Uxie is no different. The Being of Knowledge is usually quiet now: it sits in the background, sharing information when and where, and how it deems necessary. To those familiar with it or simply psychic, a smug sense of “I know something you don’t” is noticeable when Uxie provides information, even to this day.

Uxie understands human notions of right and wrong, good and evil. It is the purpose of memory to understand, to know. Memory’s job is sense-making. Memory is what our reason is based upon. If you can't trust your own memory, what can you trust?  As we all know, we can always 100% trust our memory not to lie to us for the greater good of preserving sanity. Uxie is the embodiment and mediator of memory and sense-making for this universe. Why should Uxie be any different? 

A memory lacking in knowledge would not be good at its job as a sense-making apparatus, and with great knowledge comes great responsibility. Uxie’s personal agenda has always been to fulfill its role in the universe as best as possible. By whatever means necessary. 

An odd quirk no one ever seems to notice: If Uxie's telepathic messages were written down in text form, it is almost only the case that a "?" would ever appear when quizzing another being for their own benefit. Even messages that appear to be questions would generally end with a period. Fortunately, for the sanity of others, no one has had the intuition to cross-reference the other cases to find a pattern.

Uxie Knows.

One’s sense-making apparatus occasionally supplies information (memories retained or new deductions) entirely unprompted. This is the case where Uxie is concerned too, for its peers.

"May's always cheerful and energetic, but when she watches stars at night, she gets really quiet. We were watching shooting stars the other day, and every time she saw one, her eyes lit up. Her eyes were really pretty, too, like stars."

It's late. Late enough that everyone should be asleep, but you're not. Instead, you're shuffling out of the Poké Center that you're group has settled into for the evening, searching out the person that was missing from your half asleep headcount. May's bag being empty doesn't mean anything bad has happened, but after such a long journey, your first instinct is to worry about her. So you go out looking.

And you find May settled nearby, in the park just next to the center. She's on the grass, lying on her back, eyes trained on the sky above. You follow her gaze upward, and take in the dark blanket of stars that twinkle brightly. It's a new moon, so there's no pollution, besides that of the town. The stars glisten brightly despite the town, and you can see why May came out here.

"Didn't know you liked star gazing." You say. May gasps, head shooting up to balk at you. You smile, and settle down so you're both lying side-by-side. May's looking at you now, but you keep your gaze on the sky. "Would've done it with you, if you had said something."

May glances back at the stars, so you take a moment to admire her in your peripherals. Her eyes sparkle in the starlight, and when you notice a falling star cutting through the navy night, you see May's eyes light up, a soft gasp escaping her. She's as pretty as the stars, you think. You'd tell her so, but. . .

You think back on the journey the two of you have gone on together. Everyone has grown closer because of the journey, but you feel as though you and May have gotten closer than the others. You hold her hand a lot, when walking. You help each other with nightmares. You care for one another's teams, and battle often to make one another better.

So maybe, now that thing's are nearly over, you can finally tell her what you think.

"You're prettier than any star." You say, looking back to the sky.

May's head snaps to you. "Huh??"

You can't look away from the stars, your face growing hot as you continue to talk. "I've always thought you were pretty. I think you're nice too. And smart. And funny. And. . . and I think I like you, more than just a friend."

The silence is deafening. You debate fleeing back to the Poké Center, hiding somewhere with you team so you don't have to face your embarrassment. But before you can move a muscle, May's hand closes over your wrist.

"I like you too." May admits, sliding her hand into yours. Your fingers intertwine. "You're beautiful. Like the stars." You grin, too flustered to say anything. "Looks like wishing on stars works out after all."

You both laugh, snuggling closer as the wind picks up, until you both drift off beneath the stars.

Honestly, if I ever get into a P.M Seymour video, I hope he makes me sound like Ingo from Pokémon Black/White. While his lines don't have any voice acting in game (as far as I know), you can hear what he sounds like in Pokémon Masters EX.

That being said:

Tatsugiri are so friend shaped. Just look at them.

This specific one is a shiny version of the Curly Tatsugiri. There are two other forms, Droopy and Stretchy. Regular Curly 'Giri are a lighter shade of orange, the brown spots being tan.

Droopy Tatsugiri come in Pink & White variations, the shinies being a pure white. Much like the shiny Droopy Tatsugiri, Stretchy ones are purely yellow, their shiny forms showing that they have stripes on their back, while the main body is orange.

All of this is dependent on what form of Tatsugiri you're looking at. But no matter which form, they all have that round throat sack under their heads. When they go into a resting position, this sack inflates and acts as a pillow.

//2: nah lmao. glitches and shit are fascinating and i actually stayed up all night reading about them and watching youtube videos about them (they've got arbitrary code execution in pokémon diamond and pearl now! have to use the japanese verion though), but it's not something i want to incorporate into my roleplay.

//3: from the anime, mostly the portrayal of pokémon coordinators is fun to mix in with game canon. colloseum and xd are fully canon, as is magikarp jump. pokémon go is canon to an extent (team mystic, team valor <- best, and team spark's one i forget the name all exist and are legitimate groups (what, you thought all teams were evil? there's a reason people in the games don't automatically categorize people as the villains the moment they put "team" in their name), and those team rocket characters probably exist or whatever. idk, haven't interacted with them much yet. hey you, pikachu! is canon. pokémon tcg (the video game) and its sequel are canon, but the odds of that coming up anywhere is very low bc the tcg islands keep to themselves. from the physical tcg, delta pokémon exist, dark pokémon exist, light pokémon do not because they make no sense. all of the mystery dungeon games are video games in-universe. pokémon pinball: ruby and sapphire is canon, but the original pokémon pinball is not. pokémon snap and its sequel are both canon. smash bros is canon but if you bring it up there'll be an awkward silence for a while before someone changes the subject. pokémon trozei! is canon. pokémon conquest is canon and in the past. the pokémon ranger games are all canon but don't tell me about them i don't know anything yet and i want to be able to play blind. the pokémon rumble and poképark games are in-universe video games. detective pikachu and its sequel are canon unless i play the sequel when it comes out and i don't like it. learn with pokémon: typing adventure is canon. pokémon art academy is canon and takes place in the tcg islands. the thieves and the 1000 pokémon is an in-universe game. pokkén tournament is canon. camp pokémon is an in-universe kids' app. pokémon duel is canon, and carmonte island is near the tcg islands. pokémon playhouse is an in-universe kids' app. pokémon battle revolution is canon. hayley and bridgette exist. dream radar scientist exists.

I’m here with some facts about Avery and Piers since I see some people requested for them :) and I happen to love them a whole lot so here you go!!

So for starters these two are from the Galar region (and the Galar region is based on the UK! How cool is that?!)

((Also if you ever wanna find out how some of those Pokémon characters sound like, you can look up their voicelines on YouTube in the Pokémon masters EX game :D it’s an official game by Nintendo so the voices are chosen by the company based on what they want their characters to sound like!! So let’s say you wanna hear Piers voice lines, just look up “piers voice lines Pokémon masters EX” and boom!))

*Cough* anyways!!

Canon facts about Piers:

-Piers is the first ever dark type GYM LEADER in the franchise! :3 you can tell by how.. EMO he looks!

-his ace is an Obstagoon… I think!

-He has a little sister called Marnie! He caught a Morpeko for her when she was little and she uses it in battles ^^

-He’s actually a singer and songwriter! He’s pretty popular in Galar but since he has to balance out gym battling and his singing career he hopes that Marnie can take over the gym someday

-the city he lives in is Spikemuth (which is based on a city in the UK but I dunno which one). Spikemuth is actually pretty trashed and abandoned because the city doesn’t have a Dynamax spot (Dynamax is a phenomena in Galar where it makes Pokémon SUPER huge and strong) and since it doesn’t have this spot, people don’t really visit that area, and even stopped receiving funding from Chairman Rose which is why it isn’t well maintained. It’s pretty sad because Spikemuth basically became tossed aside because it doesn’t have a Dynamax spot and it’s not popular. This is why Piers hates dynamaxing and prefers traditional battles.

-He actually participated in the gym challenge with Raihan and Leon (the dragon type gym leader and the Galar champion respectively) when he was younger, so he’s well acquainted with the two himbos.

-he looks like this tough guy who’d kick your ass if you breathed the wrong way but he’s actually a softie and a really neat silly guy with a killer accent (SERIOUSLY I WANT TO MARRY HIS VOICE AAKSJSHWJ)

-PIERS HAS A FUCKING MOTORCYCLE. AHHHHHHHH! IT LOOKS SO COOL, TOO-

So uhh.. fanon time! Not much in this section but:

-Piers has really thick hair and it takes him HOURS to get his hair ready which is why he gets upset if people mess with his hair

-he has a black (or hot pink) guitar that he plays during his concerts sometimes (the fandom can’t decide what color would suit his guitar better lol)!!

-loves to paint his nails black and wear eyeliner because the fandom eats that shit UP (and me too so ajakasjsk)

-Piers probably smokes when he’s stressed. Probably. 😳

pink puffball of pureness, friend shaped ball with his immaculate vibes that can destroy gods with the literal power of friendship if they hurt his friends because he loves them <3

Legend of Zelda- might be a weird choice considering Midna *exists*, but hear me out: TP Link.

Emo cowboy, a super cool sword flexing move that you can do by pressing a after defeating an enemy with a skill (which is just *chefs kiss*), my main in smash bros brawl and 4 3DS (always with Kirby, obvs), that one "shooting dedede without looking“ cutscene from brawl (if you save Zelda at the start), afaik the only character in this entire series that actually pets the animals, he’s got a horse and a falcon, peak facial expressions, can be a gremlin, not only strong enough to wrestle with gorons, but overwhelmed the literal holder of the Triforce of Power when they locked swords, and also the very big, actually giant bonus of also being Wolf Link. Who is not only a good boi but can also talk to animals! (…this is mostly just projecting my love of gameplay mechanics in this game but ehh)

But tbh he‘s also tied with more obvious choices like, again, Midna, Linebeck (there are lots and lots of better explanations out there why they’re both cool), but also Young Link (precious and utterly OP in Hyrule Warriors), Linkle (second most OP character (at least when it comes to bosses) also I just think she‘s neat), Ooccoo (Sky Chicken Aunt👏 is precious👏 and deserves👏 more love!), Fierce Deity (he‘s just really cool. Also Fierce dad > Evil FD. He goes fishing! )

My Zelda fave depends on the current mood and what game I last played, really.

Pokémon- Emmet and Ingo (in masters ex)

It’s not a main game, but I got both of their special fancy costume versions though complete luck and never looked back; once saw a post talking about how they only use one of them (forgot which one) in their team to hear that "All Aboooaaard!“ and yeah I can see why now. It’s just good vibes all around. (Also they‘re just such an OP combo in that game, I’m literally driving through almost anything, it’s great)

What if Marinette goes to GA and becomes friends with damian and are known as the chaos kids. The school gets used to them. The waynes need Damian one day and when they ask for him the reply is "At (area) doing (weird thing. Example: making pokemon statues out of waffles) with Mari" they get to said area they're gone and the fam has to keep asking people where he is and keep getting crazy replies. When they find him he's arguing with her about whether winnie the pooh's fav color is red or yellow

@coolrascalhoagienerd, well I had a good laugh when I saw this and where is the making of what I thought would have worked. I hope you enjoy. 

When Damian entered the halls of Gotham Academy, the first thing he notice was the change in the usual dark atmosphere. It felt oddly kinder and more lighthearted. Everywhere he turns there are whispers featuring around the new girl that recently join the school.

It’s funny how the two met that very same day. She was running down the halls in a hurry as he was walking to his next class, one that he was particular care for. They bump into each other causing a standstill in the halls. Everyone wondered how the dark prince would react to the princess of sunshine. They expected a yelling match, instead they got the best and worst of alliance ever made. 

Months passed since the blooming of Damian and Marinette’s friendship and not a single student could say that there weren’t surprised. The moment Marinette had Damian under her spell, she was able to make the stoic teen become his age. It started off small with a joke here and there, then it exploded into card games followed by video games. To this day, Damian swears that he’ll beat her at a shooting game at one point to which Marinette would respond with a laugh and an over the shoulder wink. The younger Wayne would swear that he has never blush a day in his life but the photographic proof on Marinette’s phone says otherwise.

The school soon became accustomed to being Daminette’s playground. At first the teachers were opposed to the idea but after seeing how slightly more open Damian has become with the of Sunshine, they slowly agreed to the idea of allowing the dark prince and his sunshine have less strict rules.

Which brings us to this moment, Marinette swings on a swing set while Damian practice his form with a katana. Don’t ask how he manage to get it past security.

“You know, maybe we should do something wild?” Marinette says looking up to the sky with a mischief smirk on her lips.

Damian doesn’t turn to her; he only sets the blade down to his side. “What do you have in mind?”

Marinette giggles uncontrollably.

Let’s just say that whatever Marinette had in mind would rule the yearbooks for years to come.

Damian hiding his characteristic change at home was simple enough. A few death threats here and there, maybe sneaking out moments every so often. No one at the Wayne cared to pay any attention to it. It only came as shock when Damian left for school along the lines of being late. Alfred offered to take me to which Damian declined and got onto his “normal” motorcycle and speeds off.

“Does it seem that Damian is acting strange to you?” Richard “Dick” Grayson asks, pipping his down from the ceiling. He’s on the chandelier again. Poor Alfred, maybe he’ll dust the chandelier for him.

Tim walks in to with large mug in hand, no doubt filled to the brim with coffee. “Which one?” He asks taking a sip, bags are underneath his eyes.

“I do concur with Master Richard; the young master has been acting somewhat strange for quite a moment now” Alfred appears out of nowhere.

It wasn’t long before Jason manage to drag the head of the household from his lair into the mess that was slowly brewing in the main room. Alfred reprimands Jason for the uses of force as he hands Bruce Wayne a cup of coffee.

“Look, I can’t explain much, but we’re going to need Demon Spawn for something huge.” Jason says looking like a madman pulling Bruce by the arm.

“Uh, why would we need Little Bird?” Dick asks dropping onto the floor and twisting his body. “Not that I don’t mind getting Damian involved.”

“Look there’s no time to explain,” Jason facepalms and begins to push everyone towards the door despite the lack of proper wear they have on.

After one clothes change, a large of amount protest, the Wayne household now stands in front of the gates of Gotham Academy.

“Is it me or does this place look less you know Gotham-y and full of life?” Tim asks narrowing his eyes as he takes a long sip of a new cup of coffee that has been transfer into a to-go cup with Red Robin’s emblem.

“No, no, Timmy, I see it too.” Dick whispers as Jason struts past the gates and onto the school’s property.

Bruce sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose, “Come on, let’s go get your brother so Jason can stop being Jason.”

Tim shrugs before passing the gates himself with Dick following him.

Upon entering the school, they could immediately see that it was either passing period or free time for the students.

Bruce makes his way to the attendance, where Assistant Joyce resides sitting at the desk.

“Hello Joyce, I’m here pick up Damian. He has a, ah, dentist appointment this evening.” Bruce speaks hoping that she wouldn’t catch the lie he spoke of.

“Well Mr. Wayne, Damian is, uh…” Joyce turns to someone besides her. “Do you know where Damian Wayne would be at today?”

“Try the art room.” A feminine voice answers.

Joyce turns back to the Wayne family and smiles, “He should be at the art room, it’s down the hall to your right, you should not miss it. It’s in the only hallway that has a series of artwork posted in it. Before you go, please sign here so that we know to tell the teachers not to mark Damian absent today.”

Joyce hands Bruce a sign out sheet, to which the man signs and ushers his wards to go find his youngest.

“They’re so screwed.” The same feminine voice speaks causing Joyce to break out laughing.

Well, it took a total of four different locations for the men to find the youngest Wayne.

First, they went to the art room like Joyce’s co-worker told them to. They meet with a student that says that basically told them that Damian was playing Pokémon Go near the gym, apparently, he was trying to catch a legendary Pokémon that spawned there.

So, of course, after an awkward eye contact with one another, they walk to the gym. Once again Damian was there, but a different was. He told them that Damian was making ice sculptures out of ice cream at the cafeteria. The student then goes on to explain that Damian had some amazing skills with a knife.

Jason, with wide eyes, practically shouted at the student that he was crazy, and that Damian would never, and he means NEVER do something that stupid. The student just shrugs it off like it was an everyday occurrence. It was Dick that had to hold Jason back from thrashing the teen.

By the time they got to the cafeteria, it was damn near empty aside from a few students still eating. There were no signs of ice cream or the tools that would go into making a sculpture. Tim had to ask a few students to see if Damian was in here at some point in time. It’s the workers that answers the young CEO by telling him that Damian was here earlier making sculptures out of ice cream before handing it out to students. When asked with the question that has been slowly driving the four insane, the worker replies with “Upstairs racing on these old colorful scooter board down the halls.”

It was at that moment when Tim wanted nothing to but to have a mental break down, and he would have if it wasn’t for Bruce holding him up.

So, they quickly found themselves on the second level of the school. There was no sight of Damian Wayne, though there were wheel tracks smudged into the flooring.

“Are you kidding me?” Jason shouts out into the ceiling. Thankfully, there were no students in the halls to hear it. Well that might have been the case if it wasn’t for a teacher to open their door and shush the male.

“Angel, you are desperately in the wrong here. The bear only wears one color, so it has to the color red.” It was then that they finally hear the voice of the person they have been looking for. Looking over the staircase, they find a hidden cove/nook like area and siting in it is none other than Damian Wayne himself, but he’s not alone.

“I’m telling you, Dami, Pooh’s favorite color is yellow.” The female answers before taping her fingers as makes her point. “He loves honey, which is by default a yellow color.”

“I disagree, Winnie the Pooh has been drawn on numerous of occasions with red items not yellow.” He counters.

This was not happening. Tim’s along with Jason’s exe stopped working and now they were frozen in place. The most deadliest of Wayne’s is arguing about Winnie the motherfucking Pooh’s favorite color. Bruce has no words as Dick pulls out his phone to record the whole ordeal.

Legend has it that Damian never went home that day despite being excused from classes. When he had return home, his family never spoke to him, still in shock at what they just encountered. It wasn’t until a couple of months later that Damian had introduce the family to Marinette and all hell breaks loose.
