OFFICIAL announcement made - Brazilian International delighted after Chelsea transfer deal done
Nottingham Forest have announced their loan signing of Brazil international Andrey Santos from Chelsea. CHELSEA have been signing some of the best young players in the game over the past couple of transfer windows as the board look to the future. No midfielders
Tumblr media
Monday:
Brother: Stronger rumors that we are selling Gallagher. I don’t get it unless we are signing a lot of midfielders. Santos and Casadei have played against Wrexham and Brighton with ten men. Enzo can play every game with no Europe but that’s still a lot.
Me: That's a horrible idea. I know people are very mixed on Conor, but I'd like to see what Poch can do with him. ALSO WE HAVE NO EXPERIENCED MIDFIELDERS.
Brother: Yeah, even if you did not think he’s a great Poch player (which I think he will be), we have no midfielders other than Enzo. Maybe Lewis Hall can play left midfield like he is supposed to or Maatsen can combine his left back and striker skills to become a midfielder. We sold Jorginho, let Kanté leave, and sold Kovacic. I guess if we played with seven defenders and then played long balls to Mudryk, Nkunku, and Nicolas Jackson, this plan works but otherwise we need midfielders.
Me: Also given that we just got rid of a lot of players who came up through the academy, that's another link gone. It's just Reece, Trevoh, Colwill (if he stays), and Hall (who I'm guessing will still play more in the academy) in the senior squad. Oh yeah, forgot Broja. Plus I just need more videos of Conor and Erin laughing at stuff.
Brother: The funny thing is if we sell him, all we have is the academy. I hope there is some U8 kid ready to body Harry Kane.

Chelsea youngster Andrey Santos made it four goals in four games last night, as Brazil beat Ecuador in the first game of the second group stage at the CONMEBOL U20 Championship in South America.
Santos’s goal in the 81st minute came just a few minutes after Ecuador had cut the deficit in half to set up a grandstand finish, which the Brazil U20 captain swiftly denied. The youngster has scored in a variety of ways — foot, head, set piece, dribbling, etc — and this one was a well directed side-foot volley from an indirect free kick.
