I mean, that's not unbelievable, I was just thinking that Coriolanus shot Billy Taupe dead and hid the corpse. And Sejanus...poor boy.

Let's just say in this AU that whole scene never happened... so Mayfair was abandoned by her new boyfriend but is still alive. Coriolanus doesn't know where Sejanus and Billy Taupe disappeared to, and hadn't known explicitly of Sejanus's treasonous plans... so he just assumes the two idiots got themselves killed.

Hopefully that makes sense :)

I relate so hard to Amy. Awkward, anxious, and wants things to be a certain way and gets nervous when they're not? Me.

"Done dirty by fans" and "everyone but me is wrong about them" is due to people not caring about her as much as they do about Jake. I am STILL so peeved about how often I try to find fics about Amy getting hurt/comforted but Jake is taking up the whole tag. Like. Searching for fics where Amy has an allergic reaction to dogs and only finding fics about Jake having allergic reactions to bees. And we found out in canon it's not even that serious! When Amy canonically is deathly allergic! Ugh. Anyway.

Marcus!

"Wasted potential" and "why do they look like that" apply to the book only. Every time I remember Marcus is supposed to be blond and look like a surfer boy in the books I'm like No he doesn't! Because he doesn't, not to me. Wasted potential in terms of... idk we just don't see as much of him in the books vs the show and it saddens me. He doesn't get nearly enough character in the books. (I know Time's Convert is about him and Phoebe but. A little too late.) (I also didn't finish it, I got bored. I'm sorry Marcus and Phoebe I love you.)

Done dirty by fans in the sense that. I care about him and Phoebe but not enough people do. Also why are there not more fics about him and Matthew??? Fr???

Marcus has more depth than ppl think. Will die on this hill. Also he should have gone apeshit on Matthew at one point.

Annette!

Tbh I don't have much to say about her because what could I say that hasn't already been said better by someone else??? She's cool as fuck in personality AND design and I love her.

lol I could see it happening so much. It's also my headcanon that they waited until their wedding night to have penetrative sex, because of Anthony, if it was for Kate they would have probably had their first time after she accepted his second proposal. But he's a romantic at heart, and wants to consider himself as a gentleman, so she's letting him 'win' this time.

Colin feels very College Kid Who Wants To Be Taken Seriously. I think they could work with that. Maybe him having to deal with actual responsibilities. And travel writing, writing a book (he did that in books right?) might help with that?

Or maybe him and Penelope get married and just travel everywhere until the heat dies down?

Colin is a thumb. His personality revolves around Marina and Greece. Him being in love with Marina is the only interesting thing about him.

And as a third son, he has no real responsibilities. He wrote a book about traveling, which just reiterates how boring he is. And I never got the sense that he actually wanted to write in the books.

To me, he just didn’t have anything for himself and Pen was there trying to encourage him for something. And when he got jealous of her, she told him he could write too. He did it because Pen told him to, to placate his jealousy.

In the show, they haven’t established he likes to write yet, he just writes letters home (which literally everyone does) so again, there’s no buildup to him being a writer. He’s got nothing going for him, except that he’s a bridgerton. He’s just there.

I hope Colin and Pen leave. I also hope they never come back.

So in a nutshell, in your honest opinion, how was The Invitation? I know it's either vampires or ghouls.

I enjoyed it. 7\10 for real. the ending scene was weak imo. it could have been stronger with an ounce of creepiness'. if you enjoyed 'ready or not', you'll enjoy this.

Are the season 2 scripts available?

I don’t think so but I do think the eps 6 script is partially available. I’ll be honest I haven’t checked not recently anyways. Scripts are always changed and revised it’s rare that an original script especially the dialogue is filmed as it was written. Things are always tweaked, added and removed. If anyone has any scripts please do share :)

I'm kind of floored that Phillip Clairmont's law, the one the congregation follows to the point of fanaticism turns out to be the reason why they're getting weaker to the point of extinction. I haven't read the books, but watching the show and the reveal that daemons are the key and they need to intermingle now, it's like "Wow, you guys really screwed the pooch."

Meanwhile, we know about the Habsburgs. Or am I reading way too much into this?

it's so true though. Like they explain it in the story as "the humans notice something is up if we group together too much" and with the humans being humans with their superstitions and fear it makes sense. and then you add to that the hatred all the creatures had to each other and it becomes way too easy to separate from each other and lead to this whole problem.

but it's still funny to realize how SIMPLE the answer to the problem is!!!! like all of that study and struggle just for the answer to be "stop being racist against each other."

also!! only kind of related but in the book they say at least a couple times "This isn't what Philippe would have wanted!!!" about the law but it's like, this is exactly what he would have wanted. the law he made is working exactly the way he meant it to. what are you talking about.

I will never get over the first proposal. I was yelling at the screen "TELL HER THAT YOU LOVE YOU IDIOT!"

I think it was explained that he admitted to himself that he loves Kate and he wants to be with her but those three little words just couldn't come until the end.

He wanted to be with her since the kiss in ep6, but the 'accident' changed things because he was put in front of his worst nightmare once again, and his trauma came back in full force. It was necessary, however, because he needed to face his worst fear once again to understand where his problem truly lied and try to overcome it. And yeah, his conversation with Violet kinda helped, but not enough, he didn't fully understand yet that his fear was what was blocking him to fully put his heart out there. His conversation with Gregory made him understand what he did wrong, and that he didn't want to be scared of love anymore. He loved her, so who cared if she didn't love him back, if she wouldn't have accepted his feelings, if she still decided to go back to India. He loved her and she deserved to know, just as much as he deserved to say those words aloud to finally be free of this fear that had accompanied him for way too long.
