I already mentioned this on my twitter before but thought I just wanna add it here lol so if any of you guys followed my art ig, you might notice that I closed off all of my replies, comments and dms and that's because I keep getting unwarranted dms but more importantly there is this one person on insta that i think is a bit....odd.

So there's this person that keeps following and then unfollowing me either hours or days later. Normally I won't notice this because I don't check on people's profile but the reason I remember this is because this person tried reaching to me before. Basically they said they were glad they found someone that likes professor and starts dumping to me about how they likes him ever since they were a kid and then they're married to Utonium.

First of all, yes, I am totally fine with sharing. But you have to agree with me that saying "Oh you like the fictional character that I liked? Thats so cool omg btw we are married before you know him" as if you are claiming that character first is weird. And second, I barely talk about my selfship, I only post my art. At least if you want to talk to me, don't open with something like "I'm Utonium's wife." Like ???? That is weird are you trying to assert dominance on me???

Anyway I didn't bother to reply to them and for the next few weeks they reply to my stories occassionally just to try and see if I will reply but of course I didn't reply so their last reply were "Hello?" And I don't get any dms from them anymore.

After that I keep seeing their acc following and unfollowing me and usually I will block immediately because it's always safe than sorry but whenever I want to do so their acc just gone so I didn't manage to do that so now the only way for me to keep myself safe is to just shut down all means of communication.

Anyway I am still okay with sharing just that I wish people have manners and try to talk to me normally instead of immediately trying to assert your ship to me lol I swear I am fine and if I'm nice enough I will literally draw the shared f/o and you for free because I want to but like if you creep me out, chances are I wont talk to you and probably block you lol

#anyway my art got added to pinterest for some reason and i almost burst my chest i see their name commenting on it #kill bill siren juat immediately blares in my head lol #oh almost forgot to add the other weird and rude dms i got on ig too lol #one is them replying to every of my story post in spanish and then gets mad at me for not replyinf #i never bother to check and reply because clearly i speaks engliah #but i decided to check because they send me a side eye emoji #so when i translated it back they said that I was a bitch for not replying lmfao #also another guy negging at me and say how ugly my laughs are #and then various spam bots and such its just annoys me #insta is the only place where I have to deal with this bullshit and while i want to delete my ig #i hate that thats the only site that works well as a gallery so i just keep it and use it tk post art lol #asuka speaks #delete later

What are your thoughts about Tim’s queer journey in relation to having a very conservative father (Jack)?

I have a lot of scattered thoughts about this but mainly it boils down to two things, lots of internalized homophobia and a longer period of accepting it. U know, considering how good tim is at repressing whatever he doesnt want to think about, i think it would take more for him to come to terms with it and a lot of that would come from the knowledge that jack would not have supported him, which would definitely weight on him, plus all hes internalized listening to jacks views on sexuality and masculinity

Bc yeah jack loved his son and i dont think hed be someone to kick him out or hit him or anything but i do think tim wouldve spent years hearing jacks throwaway homophobic comments and that sticks! That shit stays with you. Dana also had some pretty conservative beliefs and imo theres a big chance theyd just casually say things they wouldnt think much of bc people like that see homophobia as a very matter of fact thing, would not even consider tim might not be straight bc theyre so far removed from Those People and thinking of queerness as something normal, and even though tim didnt known he was queer at that point it is something hed internalize

+ considering jack is dead he cant even disprove that, like hey ok his dad said some shit but would he still love him? Would he change his mind bc its about his son? Would tim even have come out to him or would it have been just another part of himself he has to lie about? (I do think if jack was still alive he would be shitty about it but again in a very like. Passive aggressive way. And i think hed possibly mellow out about it eventually but boy)

I think theres a good period there where tim is aware he might be queer but pushes that thought away (not enough time, work to do, etc etc) bc noo he cant be like that obviously its fine, he has friends who are gay thats cool! but not him no way. Theres a great deal of shame and denial in there. And eventually when he can admit to himself hes into men he still has all that internalized shit to work through, so yea, i think itd be a long process, one he would probably deal with on his own bc if hes learned anything from jack about this its that its something to be ashamed of

#Obviously this is also tied to toxic masculinity that all goes hand in hand #Which leads me to think of gender but thats an another post #Not the point of this post but i really don't think tim is the 'gotta come out to my whole family!' sort of guy #If asked sure he'll say. At first hes definitely hiding it but later hes just being subtle bc hes a private guy #Anyway. Wahoo!#Ask #As u might assume i do have many thoughts on how this was done in canon but also #I dont trust dc to do a solid story on any of this anyway. So im not like mad about it. I just find what they did with tims coming out like #The most boring possibility #But im not surprised about that #Theres just a lack of complexity that i find funny with tim considering his everything. every time I think about the backstory I made up for Danny and Becky's mom I have to laugh... the hoops I went through just so I could say they weren't in love with each other... 💀💀💀

Childhood:

Oldest daughter of two, Wendy was born to Margaret and Joseph Conwell and was their only daughter and child until she was seven and was given a baby brother named Jeremy. Her mother was a nurse, and her father owned a business that unfortunately had run into some serious legal trouble that took a hard toll on him.

As a result, Wendy’s home life would soon become a rocky one. At the age of twelve, her mother Margaret was working constantly at the hospital while her father Joseph was always away and lost money to gambling and feeding into his alcohol addiction as he claimed he was trying to get money to bring his old business back to life.

In school Wendy had no trouble making friends, but it soon proved difficult to keep them since she was more worried about looking after her baby brother most of the time due to both her parent’s absence at home. She never blamed her mother for it since her work brought food to the table, but she steadily blamed her father for sure since he always came home a drunk with empty pockets

Eventually her father’s temper snapped when he realized Margaret had plans to take the kids and had stashed money away from him to do so. This led to a horrible fight where Wendy was awoken from sleep to the sound of her mother screaming and rushing to find that Joseph had shoved her into her bedside table and had drawn blood. Wendy retaliated in anger and fear by hitting him with an empty beer bottle and her mother managed to chase him out with a bat and call the police.

Margaret was able to safely move Wendy and Jeremy out and filed for divorce that week. They cut ties with Joseph completely despite him reaching out once to borrow money.

Adolescence:

Wendy still had trouble dealing with what she had seen and done and in high school, started drinking to forget and calm herself down. She had a bad friend that would help her get the drinks and eventually Margaret found out about her daughter’s habit and confronted her about it.

This led into a rather nasty fight between them, concluding with Wendy sobbing in the kitchen apologizing and begging her mom for help out of fear that she might end up like her father. Margaret, without hesitation, held her daughter close and vowed to do what it took.

Wendy received the help she needed, along with therapy for her trauma and cut ties with the friend. She graduated high school with a plan to become a nurse like her mother.

Margaret fell in love with a man named Travis McCoy and soon enough the new couple was dating. Jeremy liked him and got along with him, and he seemed decent enough, but Wendy didn’t trust him out of fear that their family history would repeat. However, after a group trip to Australia one summer, Travis and Wendy had a heart to heart, and she saw in him what Joseph should have been and accepted him.

After some time with the family, Travis asked her if it would be alright if he married her mom. Wendy, to her own surprise and delight, said it was.

Adulthood:

Wendy worked in a renowned Hospital when she met the first love of her life; Laverne Bree. It had started out as a friendship, since Bree had just moved into the same building and was working as a cop. But in the time spent together, Wendy found out that she felt a certain way about her friend and soon discovered her own bisexuality. When she felt secure to tell Laverne the truth, she was surprised to hear that Laverne had felt the same as she was already a closeted lesbian.

They took their relationship steadily and slow, and soon found confidence and started dating. Wendy brought Laverne around often to see her family and they adored her. Laverne doesn’t speak to her family and would always be ecstatic to join Wendy on holiday trips to see hers. Wendy eventually asked Laverne to marry her after years of dating.

Wendy and Laverne were about one year into planning their wedding when Wendy heard at work about a sudden mysterious outbreak of multiple people being bitten and behaving in strange and monstrous ways. An attack on a staff member at her hospital caused her to witness exactly what was happening for herself and her concerns grew about what would happen to her family.

The news steadily became more alarming as it was already estimated that vampires had humans outnumbered and that there was a need of what to do with these citizens as they still held onto themselves after being turned and were still considered people. While trying to stay busy after her hospital was shut down, Wendy decided to join the military in an effort to help make sense of what to do to help those in need. The program she entered into taught her all the tactical skills she would later use, and she was put into a squadron with a man named Gavin Smith who would soon become a good friend of hers. She met Parker, Levi, and Guadalupe there as well.

Gavin, Wendy and the rest of their troop spent their deployment setting up shelters and aid facilities as the world leaders came together to discuss what to do about the dwindling numbers of humans and the steadily rising of vampires. Wendy, while in constant contact with her loved ones, found out from her mother in a frightened voice that the area in which her father Joseph was still kept in prison was attacked and raided by a group of vampires and that Joseph’s body wasn’t anywhere among the dead accounted for. Wendy became fearful and told her mother to contact Laverne for help.

Wendy and her squadron were able to return home early and with things getting much worse on the news, she anxiously returned home that night as fast as she could but was too late and found her mother and stepfather slaughtered and drained of their blood in their own beds. Jeremy was nowhere to be found in the house as he had just been visiting with his girlfriend Trudy and there were more signs of an attack leading towards the kitchen. There, Wendy was horribly distraught to see her fiancee Laverne strewn on the floor bloody and no more. Her police gun a mere feet away from where she had fallen.

Wendy in her grief, was found by Joseph still inside the house and she vengefully did everything to stop him from turning her as he attacked her. she was almost bitten when Joseph was suddenly decapitated from behind by a worried Gavin as he stood before her with his machete. He helped her out of the house despite her struggles in vain to find her brother as they were joined by the other three members of their squad. Their plan was to abandon their ranks from the military after they had heard about it being announced that military forces were to be turned into vampires as a new protocol by all the world leaders after they had been turned into vampires as well. Finding out for themselves that being immortal was an upside to being undead.

In the weeks after going rogue, Gavin told Wendy to find an abandoned base that was hidden deep into the mountains nearby that he had heard about. They would hunker down somewhere safe until he had gotten word from her and in the meantime would try to save as many human lives as they still could. After a few months, Wendy was successful and the team along with survivors turned the place into their new home as the world outside changed and became dangerous.

In the few years that followed, Wendy would scout outside the colony walls by herself, looking for new survivors and being hunted by members of her old squadron lead by a man named Hudson Fowler, who had willingly been turned and were tasked with finding her and the other deserters.

Late Life:

In her mid to late 40s, Wendy would still scout despite the constant decreasing in human survivors.

As rumors spread that the Vamps were getting desperate for human blood, her trips became more dangerous and one day, while playing her emergency broadcast for other humans, she ran alongside a car with a Phoenix painted on it and met Lionel Cormac, Edward Dalton, and Audrey Bennett. She guided them back to her colony but ran into some trouble along the way back.

They all arrived there safe, and soon enough Ed, Audrey and Lionel introduced that there was a way to cure vampires back into human beings.

Wendy would ultimately decide to help them convince her colony that it was true, and this collaboration led her to become close with the trio, and eventually causing her and Lionel to become friends and eventually fall in love.

Within a few months, hope spread through the colony as word went around that because the blood substitute was working without any struggles, the conversation around what to do about the remaining humans became relevant again and more senators and government officials were deeply interested in trying to preserve the human race.

For the first time in a long while, Wendy was hopeful for a future where she and Lionel could live together.

Wendy was asked by Gavin to seek out another human colony that were in peaceful contact with Vampire senators that wished to help the humans return safely. She accepted and Lionel volunteered to travel with her.

Upon meeting the new colony in a remote location, Wendy was shocked to find her brother Jeremy alive and well with Trudy and their two daughters. Overcome with joy, the McCoy siblings embraced. But it was very short lived as a rogue party of Vampires found them and attacked.

They were fought off, but Wendy was bitten while protecting her new nieces from being harmed.

While escaping towards home with the colony in tow, Wendy revealed to Lionel that she had been bit and was worried about turning on her loved ones. Lionel assured her that she wouldn’t and once they got back, immediately set up a space for Wendy to be quarantined away from everyone else. Only Lionel and Ed refused to leave her as Parker does his best to care for her before she painfully turned into a vampire.

Lionel offers her his blood without hesitation, but Ed warns him that she might actually end up killing him since she was newly turned and hungry. Before any of them could do something, word spread to them about a group of vamps scouting the mountains near their hiding place and Wendy, fearing the worst, snuck away and successfully lured them away from the mountains on her bike. She was captured by Fowler and was taken to the city to be questioned.

Lionel, Gavin, Audrey and Ed were able to rescue her back and turn Wendy into a human again. Upon seeing that it was in fact possible, Gavin agreed to meet with the Vampires who advocated for human life with Jeremy and Audrey.

Months pass and the vampire community and government has set up peaceful conditions and places of reserves for humans to live openly and safely during the day. Laws are passed condoning the killing of humans by Vampires and while some are displeased on both sides, steps have been taken to ensure humanity continues safely. Wendy has long since recovered and upon coming home from visiting Jeremy and his family, is accompanied by Lionel and in the following weeks discovers that she has become pregnant with her first child.

Wendy at first is troubled by how late at her age she has become pregnant at and is concerned for their baby’s health while Lionel completely supports her by whatever decision she chooses. At this point Ed and Audrey have already had their first daughter and after confiding in Audrey, Wendy decides she wants to keep her baby.

After 8 1/2 months she gives birth to a small but healthy baby boy, she and Lionel name Matthew.

As the years pass and Matthew is now 12, Wendy and Lionel are married and are living happily in a small town that has both a Human and Vampire population within it. Lionel has another garage that services both vampire modeled and human modeled vehicles while Wendy works with Parker at their town clinic.

Wendy lives out the rest of her days with her loved ones, her husband Lionel and son Matthew doing what she loves and at peace with her life.

girl help im thinking of a major oc rehaul again

#okay. pains me to consider this twice with the main group now. but im thinking of downsizing the mcs to just asha and valerie #NOT because im ignoring skylar thats actually why this is difficult to see if its a betterchoice bc i love their relationship w asha #and i do love them being taken in by atlas but like. im wondering if its necessary #and if itll serve asha's character better if she's aloof and cold bc they've been so isolated #and valerie is the one to bring her down from that. but then that feels weird when skylar is there #and skylar couldve had that effect on her yknow and its weird that they dont since theyre so close #like idk how to make that work without making asha come across as more unlikable than they should be #bc then the implication is ''skylar is really enthusiastic and always trying to get asha to try new things and she doesnt #but then val does that while showing her kindness so clearly skylar doesnt mean as much to asha''#skylar does get an arc regarding their relationship with asha but it also feels too similar to quinn's arc w atlas #and i was trying to make it a parallel but it feels less like that and more like retreadingground since im telling both stories #or i want to anyways #and like. skylar wouldn't be kicked out of the story they'd still appear and be a character!#a main character in fact! theyre extremely important to the plot they're arguably the heart of it #(which is another reason im so conflicted)#they may appear later in the story and join later? but then they feel kinda similar to valerie augh #also im soooo attached to skylar and asha being adopted siblings :( thats been a thing since like my very very first draft #my first doodles of these characters were them hanging out and being siblings #maybe ill try and figure out a best of both worlds scenario where they can keep beingsiblings #but asha spends a lot of time with valerie alone at first #echoed voice

One of My favorite writing skills I have is that I am Excellent at paralleling scenes to later and earlier scenes and weaving in my main idea to So much dialogue and Subtle action scene shit (in part Because My mind likes to parallel 1 scene I work on to another I've already written or will write)

So like. I love parallels so when I reread my stuff it's such a joy to find all the foreshadowing treasures and Main Idea getting hammered home just throughout everything

#rant #writing #mejo writing #i think. it has to do with me thinking of scenes like acting or play scenes in my head #so the character Motive or Goal should parallel their future arc Or tell u about their past arc up to this point etc #anyway i was having SUCH a writers block for my original shit when last night #my brain was like OKAY open on a parallel to where the story heads LATER.#once i did that? easy! RIDICULOUSLY easy #i think i cracked the code on how to push myself thru writers blocks!#i was like: okay so LATER he falls for a bad guy he will try to kill #but rn hes in high school and plot just started: rhe bully he will later date shoves him into a locker #and he yells IM GONNA KILL YOU and. YES THAT WAS IT #thats what i needed! the parallel!#the young innocence of a teen not meaning it and a Bad Guy future love interest whos mostly just another dumb teen once the plot kicks off.#but LATER that teen will become an adult who DOES plan to kill someone. who Does mean that phrase. who Does fall for a bad guy but a REAL #threat to the world. a seriously awful person.#that was the parallel i needed to figure out how the fuck to structure these scenes

I haven't known a single moment of peace since I finished if we were villains until I read some like ~translations of pericles to understand what exactly the lines from james' letter really mean and then I didn't even think about the book for like a whole evening lmao like reading the actual lines in context made them make total sense to me and more than the lines he used there were some he kept out that especially convinced me of the true meaning behind the letter...

#this book has just made me insane it's fine #but i am fully convinced that he is actually alive and he faked his death i will not accept the alternative...#like the lines from pericles are literally pericles like washed up on shore after ALMOST dying at sea but not...#and talking about how he cant think about his past life but only what he is now #and saying IF i die make sure i get a proper burial... which is impossible for james for obvious reasons...#and theres a line from the same scene he didn't use where pericles asks to be left to die in peace...#which would make sense if james were actually dead but he deliberately (i think) did not use that line...#like hes not asking to be left to die in peace hes asking for Oliver's help...#and like the whole plot of pericles is his wife and daughter are assumed dead/lost at sea but they are later reunited...#like the play initially seems like a tragedy but actually has a happy ending #and theres another line from pericles thats like 'come be buried a second time in my arms'#which would be perfect for if/when oliver and james were reunited...#also oliver is reading pericles at the beginning of the book so it makes sense for it to end w pericles also u know...#like fully hinting that the story actually mirrors pericles...#anyway i am fully unhinged over this book #~#if we were villains

a/n: anon do you even remember requesting this? lmao listen i love you. this is a bit different from what you said butttt i tried.

“You sure you won’t be bored?” Matt asks as he settles in his gaming chair, looking over his shoulder to where I’m seated.

I smile over at him and shake my head at the question. It's one he asks every time he starts a stream when I’m around. “I’m sure. But are you sure it’s okay if I paint in here?”

After I fell asleep waiting for him to finish a game last week, Matt came home with an unreasonable amount of art supplies. I’d been watching Bob Ross videos on repeat for a couple of months- What can I say? He’s a gateway drug- and he thought I'd like to try painting for myself.

“Of course you can. That’s like the whole point.” Matt answers with a smile. I readjust the sheet under me anyway before I squeeze a small amount of paint onto my palette.

As I start to sketch out an outline with a pencil, I hear Matt start his stream and greet everybody. He starts his game up and begins to explain where he is in his game so I pop in one of my airpods and try to focus. After about twenty minutes, Matt swivels his chair around quickly and I look up at the sound.

“What’s on my floor?” He reads out with a laugh making me realize I hadn’t thought to check if I was in the frame. But it's too late now and I’m not about to crawl across the floor so I pop my head up and wave. “Hi, chat.”

He gestures out for me so I stand and go to his side, letting him wrap an arm around my waist. I lean into him, resting my head against his, while I read. “I was painting but I’m just a beginner. It’s not good yet.”

“That’s not true,” Matt says, holding up his phone and showing off his lock screen. It's a picture of a drawing I did on his back a couple of days ago. We’d been watching a movie in his bed when he fell asleep so I’d taken the opportunity to paint Charmander. “She did this in like an hour. I didn’t want to wash it off.”

I roll my eyes at him and squint at the chat trying to pick out a comment to respond to. “Do another one? I should when he’s done streaming.” I say with a smile, going to pull away and lay back on the floor.

“You can do it now,” Matt says, pulling me back to him. “Go get the other chair. I’ll stay still.”

I give him a look of disbelief. “You can’t sit still and stream.”

“I only need one arm. C’mon.” He says, moving me gently out of his way so he can scoot his chair over.

Well, I guess this is happening. I shrug and do what he says, collecting my art supplies and rolling the spare chair over to him.

I decide to try painting tiny planets because they seem easy enough and they fill in the gaps between his tattoos. He smiles when I begin, muttering about it tickling, but then turns his attention back to the game.

To his credit, he does try to keep his promise and stay still, only jumping up or making a big disturbance a couple of times. When I’m done, I sit back and stare at his arm. It’s kind of cute when you turn your head and squint.

Noticing I’m not painting anymore, Matt looks down at his arm and gasps dramatically. “Look, guys.” He says, carefully lifting his arm to show his stream.

I cover my face with my hands and shake my head. “You’re so embarrassing.”

He nods at where his phone lies between us. “Take a picture before I accidentally fuck it up.”

A week later, I’m still being tagged in edits of us from the stream. Currently, I’m lying on my stomach, kicking my feet and giggling over the comments on a new one. ‘The way he looks at her. God, when will it be my turn.’ As if my ego needed more stroking. Just as I like one asking if I can fight, Matt’s door opens and I look up. I hadn’t even heard them come home.

“Hi, baby.” He says as he pulls off his shirt and opens his closet. My face screws up when I notice his arm has been wrapped in saran wrap. “Hey. You got a new tattoo? You didn’t tell me.”

Usually, the night before he gets a tattoo, he googles images to have a good idea of what he wants. We stay up for hours looking through drafts together so I’m a little sad he didn’t want my input this time.

Matt grins at me, coming over to sit on the bed. “It was a surprise.” He starts to unwrap his arm, wincing slightly, and my jaw drops when I recognize what it is.

With as light a touch as I can manage, I smooth my fingers over the tiny drawings of Saturn and Venus. My eyes start to water as I look up to meet his eyes. “You got my painting.”

“I did.” He says, leaning in close and placing a kiss on my jawline.

“Why?” I ask, in equal parts wonder and bewilderment. “You said you want to fill that gap with something special.”

He pulls back and raises his brows. “It is special. My girl drew it for me.”
