Few updates to my rules section ! I hope many whom have followed me have at least glimpsed at my rules section before following because it shows how my mind works . PLEASE READ .

Semi-Selective & Private .

I prefer to interact with mutuals but if you’re interested send me a dm and we can try to work something out between muses. However, I do have the right to decline a muse - this only happens if I feel uncomfortable with the character or type of genre they belong to. Non mutuals are allowed to send asks. And even personal accounts ( non rp blogs) are allowed to as well with the anonymous option.

The highest chance of me following you back is when you have a written bio and rules page available for me to read. It’ll also help if you have a mobile navigation option that links to your information since most times I'm not able to use my computer at the moment.

Communication .

I’m highly communicative. And also as an artist who may take in a client for a commission, communication is specifically important when doing business and makes the process flow smoother & quicker for me. I also don’t like to leave people hanging in my dms and try to answer as soon as I’m able.

With that said, there are times I’ll communicate with a mun either for more info about a scene, info on their muse, etc. Yet, there have been times where I might even ask a simple question about a thread so I can make a proper reply, but the other don’t respond, even for a whole 2 weeks or more despite them interacting on the dash with other threads and the like. By that time I’ve most likely lost some or most interest in the thread ( or even their muse ) because I’ll get the impression they’re no longer interested in my muse or me as a person.

Just a warning, I can’t see us being compatible as partners if you’re not able to communicate with me. Point blank. It’s just the way of how I work as a professional business partner or even in this regard as an rp partner. I only yearn to give out a good reply that’ll satisfy my partner so I don’t make a mistake. Of course, I’ll understand if you’re busy or something happening irl that takes higher priority, but I'd appreciate it if I would be made aware in someway if that's the case.

I also can pick up if someone who used to be super friendly and excited about interacting is now giving the cold shoulder, acting not as interested anymore, or seem to deliberately ignore my dm if I send one. If there is anything wrong, just tell me if I’ve made you upset or anything. We are both adults. Or I’ll just simply unfollow and keep it moving.

I do best with partners who show a mutual interest in me and my muses, as in: talking ooc between muns, sharing ideas, putting forth effort and energy as much as a I am, blowing up my dms or asks, etc. This stimulates me and keeps my mind running due to the fact I'm always tired and lethargic. If our convos seem less enthused or one-sided, it would be difficult for me to determine if you're actually interested or not, and at this point I'd feel like a bother and feel discouraged from interacting, responding to a thread, or sending a dm - I got anxiety so yeah. I'm not too comfy with sending more than one message if the first one or second hasn't been answered cause I'd feel like a bother.

Important note

I'm also aware of the issue between male and female muses, how male muses tend to gain a lot more attention than female muses for whatever reason. I've lived through it and experienced this for many years, and it was soo bad I pretty much left the rpc community because of it. I know when someone chooses to ignore my female when she's brought up and instead focuses on my male muse instead; I'm not dumb and can see it for what it is. I try to give everyone a chance and I love oc's; the hard work people put in to create a dynamic character of their own mind to make something original and new. That's talent and skill on your part and I admire and respect the hard work you put in to create them. But I can also hope you downright don't deliberately ignore my female muse, or more if I choose to make another, or when I ever mention them. Niah is just as special to me as well as Spike, and I talk about them equally.

Following.

I don’t do follow for follow. If you’re following me with the pure intention of gaining a follow in return, you can forget it. It will further tell me you’re not sincere nor truly interested in interacting with me or my muse. In fact, I’m may not be sure why you followed me in the first place. unless you just like my muse or writing then I'm flattered ;3;

When I follow, it’s a huge indicator that shows my interest in your muse for the pure intention of interacting between muses and muns, and with that in mind, I will usually send out a message that shows my interest - I always do. 95% of the time I’m usually the first to reach out to anyone through a dm and wanting to know more about their muse and share ideas.

However, if I do choose to follow you and you don’t follow back or don’t respond to the first message I may send, I’ll get the impression you don’t want to interact with me or my muse, and will decide to unfollow after around 2 weeks has passed so I can keep my dash uncluttered. I’ll also unfollow/soft block if you don’t show interest in interacting with my muse or me at all after around 1 or 2 months. I can refollow though if you are interested.

mun ≠ muse

This really shouldn't have to be said. But whatever Spike might do or say that might cause offense to your muse doesn't imply I dislike you or agree with what he might do. I don't want to be accused thinking I hate them just because my muse might be a little mean or snarky. Spike sometimes ( depending on his mood ) can be rude, crude, wry, and say a misogynic remark- due to his past experiences of betrayal. I don't wanna sugar coat his words or filter him too much. The Spike Spiegel you see in cowboy bebop is quite similar to how I write him with just a few deviations from canon.

Shipping.

I also encourage oc x canon on this blog. I myself ship an oc and canon character on this blog, and I love to see other people do it. As well as canon x canon or self-insert x canon. It's all for fun and inspires creativity !

As for rp, it’s all about that CHEMISTRY BABy! That…oh soo sweet….slow burn of chemistry that will set the heart of this Dragon Heart to sizzle aflame. If Spike teases you a lot, he might like you, or maybe he’s teasing for the fun of it, who knows? But please don’t take it personal if Spike might not like your muse the same way. It’s fine if your muse has a crush on him, but unless you want your muse feelings hurt, don’t force it on him, for he has no problem with turning someone down. Niah is also open for shipping in a seperate verse if you're interested!

Due to Spike's past experiences, I am particularly selective with shipping Spike with other characters but might be open to it if there’s chemistry between muns (ooc) and Spike had many interactions with muse enough to know if their compatible enough.

Rules:

I will not tolerate hate of any kind of hate on my dash. Anyone partaking in sending hate, slandering someone in any shape or form, and perpetuating drama, as well as vagueing, will be instantly blocked. This also applies to anyone creating callout posts that hold no proof but hearsay. And I will not, under any circumstances, reblog a callout post, so don't bother asking me to do so.

I’m very opened to ships as this blog is multiship. In fact, I love them! That being said, I retain the right to be selective on who I ship Nanno with. I’m always looking for chemistry first. But don’t feel intimidated by that! Sometimes the spark happens at the least expected moments! I will not write any smut on this blog, as while Nanno is clearly much older (she doesn't age), she still passes as a 16/17 year old.

I am slow. Especially at the moment, as my health has been on the decline the last few months. I can take a day, or a month to reply, but know it does not ever indicate how much I like a thread. I go by inspiration in that moment I'm sitting at the computer. I prefer quality over quantity. Sometimes I can write novels, other times, hardly anything.

I practice mains, and I'm giving exclusives another try. However, earning exclusivity is difficult, I won't lie. I need to know you well and trust you. It's something that has burned me in the past and I'd like not to repeat that. For now, since this blog is very new, I have no mains or exclusives.

It’s time to touch up on shipping/general interactions! Please take a moment to read.

Firstly, I would love to point out that my Arthur/Joker is available for all types of ships! I’ll start by providing a list of what’s available. Feel free to ask me about a type of ship that’s not listed below.

Letting things play out naturally and see where they go!

With Arthur/Joker being a character with such heavy topics/themes, I will be very selective with romantic ships.

I also like to wait and see if there is natural chemistry between our characters before diving fully into a romantic ship because there is nothing worse than feeling forced to ship when things just don’t click.

Arthur/Joker will not be attracted to everyone. This does not mean I think anything less of your character. I adore your character, but just because I adore them does not mean that Arthur/Joker will automatically fall in love with your character. There are so many factors that go into romantic relationships, so please respect my right to refusal.

An important factor for romantic shipping with my Arthur/Joker is steady ooc communication.

I don’t mean just a “Hey how are you?” every once in a blue moon and that’s it. No- I mean we talk oocly often, we plot often and the interest between our characters feels genuine and remains mutual. This is just my personal preference because I like to feel comfortable with my ship partners and if I don’t feel as if I can chat with you about it or feel as if I’m bothering you, then a romantic ship wont work out between our characters as I wont find myself enjoying the interaction like I would with a responsive partner who shares the same energy.

I do not typically auto ship romantic relationships unless I really know and am comfortable with the mun and if it’s heavily plotted.

If we are shipping and you’re not feeling it anymore (romantic or not), please let me know! We can always try a new dynamic!

There would be no hard feelings! Sometimes, we just loose the spark (especially in romantic ships.) and that’s completely okay! If anything, it brings a sense of realism to our writing as our characters find their own preferences! The characters may not click right anymore or they grow apart and it’s completely encouraged to shift from one type of shit to another if this happens. Communication is key! Just DM me and we can figure out our next step together.

Sometimes, I may lose interest in a ship- do not take this personally if I do, but if I’m not feeling it, then the interaction won’t be genuine and will become unenjoyable for both parties.

Lastly, I would like to provide a few Do’s and Don’ts on how to engage with me.

Be straight forward with me

Tell me if you want a romantic ship.

Share headcanons for your character.

Accept that I have the right to refuse and say no.

Put effort into your replies! (It’s obvious when you don’t)

Become passive aggressive with me

Act in jealously of my other ships/ reply speed and frequency to other threads

Try to force a ship on me if I decline (romantic or not)

Assume ships

Vague blog

Guilt trip

Spam me in attempts to get me to reply faster (this does the opposite)

Continuously shorten reply length (I already match your length, don’t short me)

I am very uptight about keeping my blog a safe and fun space. This is my escape from reality! I love to write and I will not let anyone deprive me of the joy that writing brings me. DISCLAIMER: I just want to note here at the beginning that while I am considering this RP blog to be historically based, i.e. remaining true to the time period and overall details of John Laurens' biographical information and whatnot, I do not consider myself a historically accurate blog, not entirely. Historical fiction is a well known genre of literature and many, MANY creative liberties are taken within that genre. Think of this blog like you would if you saw an Anastasia Romanov blog. She's dead, we know she didn't survive, and she's been dead a long-ass time; so has Laurens. People still have included her in many works of fiction, even after her body was identified and it was proven she did not survive her family's massacre. I saw a romance book a couple of months ago where she survived that was recently published. Historical fiction, while a controversial thing at times, is a legitimate form of literature.

You don't have to tell me if you think John isn't acting exactly like the real man himself would have, I know that. I'm not going to call John my 'perfect sunshine boy cinnamon roll' or dismiss the privilege he was raised on due to his father, I'm aware he was a real person who had his own personality, virtues and prejudices. I won't deny that while he was certainly a progressive thinking man for the time he grew up in he definitely still had racist thoughts and actions that were indicative of his upbringing. But I'm not on here to debate modern, real life politics, or get into arguments about whether he was a good abolitionist or not. At the end of the day, this is still a hobby for me, and I'm writing for fun.

Basically, don't take it too seriously. I'm a 21st century bisexual woman writing from the POV of an 18th century (likely gay) male soldier, the way I write him is obviously not going to be a perfect representation of who he was. I know he wasn't an amazing, perfect person, but I've still chosen to write a fictionalized version of him for my own entertainment. Please try to respect that; thank you.

Hello, there! You can call me Luna! I've been interested in writing ever since I first got the internet when I was 14 and discovered FanFiction.Net and now I'm an aspiring author and Roleplay enthusiast. If you include acting/talking out DnD like games with friends then I've been 'roleplaying' since the fifth grade, but I like to think there's always room for improvement. If you ever want to chat I'd love to make a new friend or plot out a roleplay, so don't be afraid to shoot me an ask or send me a private message. Just because my muse can be a jackass doesn't mean I am! I’m a huge advocate for mental health, and if you ever need someone to talk to, please don’t ever hesitate to reach out! Some of my hobbies including literature and writing (of course), digging into mythology from various cultures, practicing solitary eclectic paganism/new age spirituality, drinking tea, and collecting crystals/minerals.

Please note that for the sake of disclosure, I am considered ‘Neurodivergent’, in that I suffer from ADHD, diagnosed at about age six, and have Anxiety and Depression which are directly tied to it. This doesn’t often effect my life on here, but I sometimes have an unpredictable sleep schedule (stay up all night, sleep in late into the morning, etc). I’m usually quick to reply to threads for the most part! I work every Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 7pm in addition to odd jobs here and there, during which time I won’t have access to the Internet. The rest of the week I’m on and off all day basically, so you can feel free to contact me any time.

RP Style

⭐️ Please use basic spelling/grammar/punctuation when you RP with me. I'm not a drill sergeant about these kinds of things, I know that typos happen, and if you have a vision problem or such we can absolutely find a way to work around that, I also have no problem roleplaying with people whose first language is not English, so that's totally fine and I’m happy to accomodate in whatever way I can, but it does make it a little difficult to play with you if I don't know what you're trying to say. For this reason I prefer if you not use any text shorthand (lol, idk, brb, jk, etc) unless our muses are messaging each other. Using it in the tags is fine.

⭐️ I roleplay Laurens in a past-tense 3rd Person Point of View (think story-telling format), and generally I don't use icons or text formatting unless I notice my partner does, then I will try to match their style (for example if you use icons and small-text, I will try to do the same, though because formatting isn't possible on mobile, any mobile replies might take longer to be posted than if I were on my laptop). If you have any issues with how I'm writing or need me to adjust my style for any reason don't be afraid to ask.

Contact

⭐️ If you spam me with messages over and over again about something I haven't replied to, chances are I'll drop the thread. I don't mind being reminded because I know Tumblr's notifications are notoriously unreliable sometimes, and humans can forget/lose things, but if you keep poking at me after I've acknowledged you the first and second time, I won't be pleased. Things can get busy on here, or in real life, or sometimes you're just lacking muse for that particular thread, y'know? It doesn't mean I hate you and don't want to RP, I'm almost always up for plotting, but muse tends to fluctuate.

⭐️ My ‘Discord’ is available to mutuals upon request. I don't mind roleplaying on there if Tumblr is being glitchy or you're just not feeling up to formatted/heavily plotted threads, sometimes Discord is fun in that you can do immediate replies without needing the effort of putting icons and formatting into it. I also have a Kik but I never use it. I don't RP in Tumblr's IMs, that's purely for OOC interaction.

⭐️ I also occasionally stream movies/TV shows in group chats or play “in character” Cards Against Humanity game nights, Among Us, etc. If you’re interested, lemme know, I’m always looking for more people to hang out with!

Important

I have no actual triggers that I'm aware of, although snakes do creep me out (mostly shots of them coiled up or images of their pupils), but there are some things I will not roleplay personally for comfort reasons:

⭐️ Cannibalism. You can mention it, for example I won't freak out if someone tells my muse that somebody else ate a person (he might, assuming its not a Supernatural type verse), but I won't RP him engaging in cannibalism, not even in AUs (blood-drinking vampires are fine). I'm just not sure I could stomach writing about eating people. I managed to watch Hannibal, barely, but writing about it? Nah. I can handle lots of horror, gore and disturbing content but not this. Sorry.

⭐ Incest/Pedophilia. I do not SEXUALLY ship with characters under the age of 18. John is not attracted to children, and would never consider sleeping with someone much younger than him.

⭐ I will not write anything sexual with muns who are under 18 years old, even if your muse is an adult. I'll still ROLEPLAY with you if you are under 18 but probably no younger than 16 just because things tend to get explicit on my blogs and I don't want to be accused of corrupting the youth with my foul language and weird opinions, lol. Seriously though, this blog covers a lot of dark subjects and while I’m all for minors exploring that safely through writing rather than in real life, some people aren’t comfortable with interacting with under age people for legal or personal reasons, please respect that.

⭐ Necrophilia. Just... no. Vampire threads don't count, as they're undead and not 'dead dead'.

⭐ Rape. I won't write it with you. I'm okay with mentions of rape, with rape/sexual assault survivor/recovery plots, and even with one character intervening to rescue another from an attempted sexual assault (if an attempted assault does occur, it will be thoroughly tagged and under a cut). I'm fully open to discussing rape recovery/trauma plots as those are things that happen in real life, and it can be interesting to explore how a character reacts to trauma. But anything else is a no-go, sorry!

⭐ Please be aware that I write Laurens as a gay man. However! Because of the time period, violent homophobia and social stigma, he has slept with women before and may be seen flirting with or referencing relationships with women in the past. He is still gay, and still uninterested in being with women long term, he's simply closeted to all but a few individuals. So, unless your muse is Martha Manning (who Laurens DOES love in a manner, and he always will), shipping with female characters on here most likely isn't going to happen unless it's heavily plotted/developed and part of an overall plot, and you understand that it will not be a conventional sexual relationship. I'm sorry if that disappoints you but I've read Laurens as a gay male for so long I have trouble seeing him any other way.

⭐ I will not roleplay slavery plots. This is not up for debate. Roleplaying a highly fictionalized version of a long dead real person who existed during a troubling time is one thing, but I draw the line at that. For this reason, while I'll happily play with non-white muses, muses using non white faceclaims, and crossovers with characters of all sorts, I'll have to decline playing with any muse claiming to actually be writing slavery. There’s a difference between, say, roleplaying a character like Daenerys, a fictional character who was technically a slave-bride sold by her brother, and writing actual slavery from a very real, horrible time period. Slave ownership will of course be mentioned on this blog, that's unavoidable, but just like the mention of rape may happen on this blog from time to time, it will be in reference to a past event or speaking about the subject in general, not roleplaying a scene of it. Please respect this rule, I was hesitant to make this blog at first, because I know it makes some people uncomfortable, but I won't glorify such a horrible real thing that happened to so many people.

Exclusives/Mains

Just a head's up, unless I develop a bunch of chemistry with a particular portrayal of a muse I'm not likely to agree to being exclusives with anyone, unless perhaps it's a very niche or divergent character that has formed a good relationship of some sort with John and I'd have trouble interacting with other versions of that muse. For major characters I just feel it would be unfair to say no to someone who I click with in every other way, solely because I have already befriended someone else writing that character.

I will, however, discuss becoming mains with someone whom I've either developed or plotted out detailed storylines/interactions with regarding our specific portrayals of our characters. This means that I tend to reply to them quickly when I'm online, or may make little gifts (moodboards, aesthetic things, mini ficlets, whatever) for them unprompted, have a verse dedicated just to them, etc. Even if it seems like we haven't done much on Tumblr, there may be a lot of off-site development on Discord or whatnot that led to us plotting out intricate stories for our muses.

⭐️ Follow me if you're a porn blog. I don't mind blogs that post NSFW content, or smut a lot, etc. I mean blogs that aren't for RP and are literally just a normal looking blog until you click on it and the header and first twenty posts are hardcore nudity and porn. I hate those things.

⭐️ Shame my ships.

⭐️ Complain about my tagging. I put my smut under a 'read more' without exception and tag them as "NSFW //" with two dashes. Things that are not necessarily graphic but still have sexual undertones go under "Suggestive //". I use these tags to avoid attracting attention from porn blogs and porn bots that track certain key words, as such I do not tag my content with "Smut" or trigger words such as "dick, oral, anal, nudity, etc", please block my NSFW and Suggestive tags if you're uncomfortable. Triggery subjects (mentions of rape, animal abuse, torture, mental illness) will be tagged under the name of said trigger with a space and two dashes, example: "Self Harm //", “Suicidal Ideation //” or "PTSD //".

⭐️ Godmod my character. If you’re not sure what is/isn’t okay, come talk to me! I don’t bite! If you’re looking for an example of god mod behavior, here: “X lunged at Laurens, taking him by surprise, and hit him square in the nose, causing blood to spurt.” It might not seem like a big deal but it means that you decided how your character’s actions affected my muse, and not only that, didn’t give him a chance to dodge or anything. Not cool.

⭐️ Ship with me without permission (sending in shippy asks is A-Ok if you're interested in exploring a ship between our muses, I'm talking about things like claiming that our muses are in a relationship without discussing it with me, referencing dates or sexual acts that never happened, etc. I ship mainly with chemistry otherwise things get boring fast.

⭐️ Assume/act like our characters know each other/are closely connected (friends/family/lovers) if we've never discussed it unless it is established in canon/history. This especially goes for original characters. I'm open to Laurens forming deep relationships with OCs obviously, but those have to be developed in character, not just assumed from the first interaction.

⭐️ Attempt to roleplay with me if you are not a roleplay blog/or if you're just trying to RP as "yourself." I don't do Character X Reader imagines stuff. I don't RP with 'fan' accounts, only RP blogs. You can still send asks so long as you're not trying to initiate an RP scenario. For example, asking Laurens what his hobbies are, asking for a blessing etc? That's fine. Spamming me with different actions "you" are talking to Laurens is weird. Stop that. I will also not RP with blogs that claim to roleplay as real life people, such as Markiplier, that's super creepy. This does NOT apply to "historical fiction" roleplay (obviously since that's what this blog is), which is considered its own genre of literature. I'm talking about the above where people will 'roleplay' as real life, currently alive people like YouTube celebrities and ship them with their friends, even if they've made it clear that they're uncomfortable with it.

⭐️ Get angry at me for doing something you don't like if you don't even have a rules page for me to go by. It's not fair; you can't expect your partners to just read your mind and magically know how you feel. If something bothers you let me know, I’ll make a note about it so I avoid it during our interactions!

⭐️ Use me as a meme resource blog without ever interacting with me. I don't require "reblog karma" for you to follow me, partners are more than welcome to reblog from me, but if we never interact and I just occasionally see you reblog fifteen posts from my meme tag and then disappear again I'm not gonna be happy. Go to the source or to an archived blog no longer getting notifications, please!

⭐️ Reblog my Meta/Headcanons. If they're from a different blog it's fine but the ones I've personally written are for MY portrayal of Laurens. I work hard on most of my stuff and I'd prefer if you didn't reblog it, not because you aren't allowed to have the same headcanon ideas as me, but because then it ends up getting liked or reblogged by lots of other people, spamming my notifications, etc.

OCs & Multimuses

I love OCs and multi-muse blogs (I have my own multimuse sideblog over at @historyremembers, which has other 18th century characters including the Hamilton children and some OCs), so feel free to interact! That being said, please have an about page of some sort on your blog. I can't follow back blogs that have absolutely no information available regarding their character(s). I don't RP with OC children of Laurens. This is nothing personal, but I'm fairly certain he was gay in real life and prefer to play him that way, and he only had one child - who he never even got to meet - in real life, so it just wouldn't make sense to me for him to have other kids running around unless he'd adopted some. If you're a multimuse, I may not follow you back if I'm only familiar with two of your muses if you have a blog of fifteen characters, simply because I'd prefer to keep my dash clean and only have characters/fandoms I'm familiar with on it. I'll still RP with you if you have a character I'm interested in! I just might not follow back if the majority of your characters I do not know, I apologize for this.

If you’ve made it to the end of this, congrats! I know it couldn’t be easy (my ADHD brain was frustrated trying to just write all this up) but it’s necessary so there’s not misunderstandings on what I am/am not willing to RP. What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: . I dunno how to really word this one in particular. I usually don’t like overplotting, so be open to some flexibility. Frameworking is fine but I don’t wanna script stuff from the getgo. Also please work WITH me? If I’m the one throwing out ideas and all I’m getting is a simple ‘eh’ or ‘no’, or just in general if you’re not helping contribute. Like....I get being anxious but I need something to work with? Suggestions. Recommended alterations to my ideas? There’s nothing more absurd to deal with than someone who agrees to plot with you only to contribute nothing and just shoot stuff down.

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: I’ll try my best to work with it. Some people aren’t great with cranking out ideas, I get that. Heck sometimes I myself don’t feel like coming up with a lot of stuff. But at some point I’m gonna ask them to put in a little effort if we’re not getting anywhere.

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: I at the VERY least give input. Ask questions, things like that. I’ll generally come up with a few off the top ideas to try and get things rolling.

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: I wouldn’t mind a poke, but I know stuff can be complicated. Wether you’re busy, losing muse, or you just don’t know how to progress a scene? I’ve certainly had plenty of threads, enjoyable or otherwise, where I say to myself ‘.....I think this is fine here’. Or ‘I don’t know where I’m supposed to go from here’. So I don’t mind if you kinda let it slip into the night. Though a heads up is always appreciated. - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: Kinda outlined up above. But MOST of all, don’t be AFRAID to let me know. I’ll understand

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: . Business, fatigue, lack of enthusiasm, not knowing how to progress. Or characters that clearly do not want to interact with my muse icly. I know some people really like playing these sorts of individuals, but like yea...uphill battles of that kind can really take it out of me. - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

Is communication in the rpc important to you? YES / NO. - And why?: As much as I don’t really require it, because well, I know people have a lot of followers and such, I do feel like a rapport while not required is definitely very constructive to interaction. And honestly, communication tends to help smooth out drama a bit. Which honestly is one of the only big negatives to this kinda community. - Are you okay with absolute honesty, even if it may means hearing something negative about you and/or portrayal?: Absolutely! I very much encourage people, off anon (though I understand if they prefer the metaphorical mask), to inform me of something they may not like about me or my muses. Even if it may hurt my feelings, I enjoy being able to address and explain things. Cuz it sure beats the hell out of people making assumptions. - Do you think you can handle such situation in a mature way? YES / NO.

Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: Enjoyment. This is a hobby, and I think some people take this a bit too seriously. I’m here to have fun, explore my muses, and that of those I interact with. Get messy, make mistakes, and for pete’s sake chill.

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: Nothing comes to mind speeeecifically... Honestly for most of my muses, just having someone who WANTS to interact with them is golden. Though I admit to being a bit of a ship goblin from time to time.

Themes I won’t ever rp / explore: Nothing outright disgusting or gratuitous. Torture, psychological trauma, ect is fine. That’s how things roll, and I don’t mind them being part of a scene. What I don’t get into is something that’s there for the sake of it. Am I ok with my character being tortured for information? Absolutely. Will I indulge in a thread that’s just some kind of weird torture porn? No. Don’t let it get out of hand. I won’t judge you because cmon, it’s rp. But I reserve the right to decline being a part of it.

What Type of Starters do you prefer / dislike, can’t work with?: Anything tbh. The only real awkward starters are like.....really specific shoehorning. Or like, an immediate conflict at my character’s detriment. I get having an unusual introduction. I’ve had people who start with shit like “WHAT ARE YOU DOING BREAKING INTO MY HOUSE?” Like cmon. Number one, even I don’t know why my character would break into your house, so they probably Didn’t. Please do not assume the worst and START things off on a bad foot.

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: Multifaceted. Not that I judge anyone for being more ...affixed on a particular aspect of their character. Some people are very keen on getting a certain type of rp. Some people just outright play a character who isn’t really shown to be anything other than one thing. But I enjoy exploration of a personality. And a personality, no mater how dull, stupid, or simple someone is, is NEVER monofaceted. I enjoy a muse that has something to dig for or explore emotionally.

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: Asocials. I’ve had some decent rp with them SOMEtimes? But like....there’s nothing more aggravating than trying to interact with a character who wants to be left alone and be isolated. Especially ones that are AGGRESSIVELY against it. Especially since I have to WORK to MAKE my character even want to interact with them.

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: MY.......errr....en...thusiasm? I don’t actually know tbh. My malleability with my muses perhaps? Errr I like thinking about stuff. IF you ask me a question, I will do my best to answer it and explore the realm within that question. I dunno what you would exactly call that though... I am ...headcannony?

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: I am flaky. Sometimes it’s cuz of real life getting hard. Sometimes it’s because I need a break from tumblr. Sometimes I just poof and forget about tumblr for like a while. But yea. I have a tendency to vanish, it’s something I’m working on but it’s something that happens.

Do you rp smut?: YES / NO. Do you prefer to go into detail?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. Are you okay with black curtain?: YES / NO. - When do you rp smut? More out of fun or character development?: It can go either way? Sometimes things develop that way because of specific characters. But I’m not gonna lie, sometimes its just for the heck of it. Sinday and all that. - Anything you would not want to rp there?: Interactions with Real life people as a muse. I respect people doing it. If people wanna rp as Miley Cyrus or whatever, more power to them. But leave me out of it, it just makes me uncomfortable. This also applies to a lesser degree with real life face claims? But I’ve learned to kinda make my peace with that one tbh.

But a bitch for a reason? She’s an absolute piece of shit, but a complicated one. She will never EXPRESS appreciation or affection outside of just sexual indulgence. She won’t ever SHOW fluffy affection, or gratefulness to most people. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t FEEL it. With Loly you will get to see a gal struggle with her own inability to trust or love people, while also trusting and loving people. Also ngl she kinda hot? I guess some people consider that a plus?

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: I mentioned it before, but muses who aren’t interested in interacting. - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: Anyone willing to interact with her! Wether that’s to help her, harm her, or just witness the mental gymnastics this little centipede will go through to keep her mental restrictions intact.

- What interests your Muse(s) in general: Power, Indulgence, Being a rotten Bitch, maintaining the survival of Las Noches, Hot people, Strong People, anything that can benefit her in some way. - What do they desire, is their goal?: She wants to be able to escape her fear of her own kind. - What catches their interest first when meeting someone new?: Wether or not they are a threat to her survival, if they have something to offer her. - What do they value in a person?: Lack of Aggression, Visual Appeal, Power. - What themes do they like talking about?: Herself or someone else she is interested in. - Is there someone /-thing they hate?: Aizen. Orihime. Hueco Mundo. Being a Hollow/Arrancar. - Is there someone /-thing they love?: Menoly, People that try to help her.

Is your Muse easy to approach?: YES / NO / Kinda - Best ways to approach them?: It’s a little complicated. But if you’re persistent enough and you genuinely want a positive interaction with her, she will bitch about it but she will eventually soften up. Especially if she feels no reason to fear you. She absolutely won’t trust you at first and it’ll be an uphill battle, but its doable.

For Antagonists ehh.....just give her breathing room? Feel free to torment her but like....if you get real incessant about it, or outright try to kill her she will actively avoid you like the plague. And if you corner her she WILL try to kill you, and her venom means that no matter how strong you are, she MIGHT pull it off if you are careless. - Where are they usually to find?: Verse dependent, but tbh she could be found just about anywhere. She’s usually in Las Noches, ut she sneaks off to all kinds of places for some peace and quiet, or just to try and enjoy her generally unpleasant existence.

Something you may still want to point out about your muse?: Patience WILL pay off eventually? And she’s not a bitch 24/7. Sometimes she’s too tired/bored to be her usual bitchy self.

Feel free to focus on bolded sections to skim for the subject of every bullet point. I’m way too wordy, but I just want to be informative. I’m not actually very strict or demanding!

How I Play:

I am semi-private and semi-selective. What this means is that mutuals (meaning people who follow me and I follow back) are free to interact with me IC in asks or by tagging me in posts or by responding to my starters, and they are also free to DM me or send me any kind of ask OOC or tag me in posts they relate to me (so unless there’s some loophole I’m not thinking of, it’s basically ‘anything goes’ with mutuals). Plotting is cool; talking about things other than RP is also probably cool (though I can be a little shy with new people sometimes, forgive me). People who I do not follow back (aka non-mutuals) are still totally free to follow me. They can send in asks about/to my muse either IC or OOC or ask about my thoughts on YTTD-topics, but I am probably uncomfortable speaking OOC in DMs about RP or doing any kind of plotting. Non-mutuals can also send in starter memes, but they would be one-off types of interactions (meaning no growing relationship) and might not be continued very far in a thread. Feel free to message me with questions if this description isn’t making sense to you.

I may not follow back for myriad reasons all regarding my personal preferences (characterization choices, writing style/ability, frustrating blog layout, missing rules/info, etc). I have depression as well as performance/social anxiety. My moods and levels of inspiration/motivation vary widely. I know that is inconvenient, sorry! So in general, I don’t push myself to be prolific, and can drop threads or be slow at responding.

I may drop a thread due to general anxiety (not necessarily related to the thread), lack of ideas, or loss of inspiration, my deepest apologies. Don’t feel bad and DO feel free to continue interactions with my muse in the future!

I operate my muse based on what I feel is in his character to do at that moment. Sometimes that makes planning difficult, because he may not respond to a circumstance in a way I anticipated. Sorry if things do not go as planned. But I do also love plotting and overthinking things, hah.

I am willing to play dark scenes including gore/violence, angst, horror, abuse, torture, my character’s death, etc., and there will be disturbing or mature content like that on this blog. I’m new to this fandom, so I’m not exactly sure how much content warning tags are really necessary, considering I presume everybody played this brutal game. However, any content warnings I decide to give will be noted with the tag “cw:” followed by the label.

I am open to the possibility of shipping everybody from high school and up. If you disagree with or object to this decision, please just unfollow/block/move on. I’m too tired.

I choose to write sexual scenes. I reserve the right to portray anything from healthy, fluffy relationships/scenes to dark, toxic, or abusive relationships/scenes. I don’t condone abuse or toxicity in real life. I respect the grave nature of such behaviors, but that will not prevent me from writing said subjects with this understanding of reality in mind. However, I respect those who do not want to see or roleplay sex, will never push said people to do so, and will keep explicit sexual content under a ‘read more’, tagged “smut”. I expect to be treated with similar respect for my choice in written subject matter.

I only roleplay smut with muns who are above the age of consent. I am uncomfortable doing so with underage individuals, so please do not attempt if you are under age 18.

What I Appreciate:

Let me know if something I’m doing in a thread with you is making you uncomfortable. I myself am comfortable with exploring some very dark themes. I will do my part to check your blog rules, and I apologize if I am ever forgetful about anything mentioned.

Please try to refrain from controlling my muse’s thoughts and actions (unless that is actually within the capabilities of your muse; ask me).

Please try to remember to start a new post instead of reblogging an ask post over and over.

I would be so grateful if multimuse blogs could tag the muse they are using in their posts. This helps me filter out the inevitable multitude posts on my dash that will not be relevant to my muse or even fandom and keeps it from becoming absolute chaos. Obviously it’s your blog, and I’m not here to tell you what to do, but this prevention of inconvenience will make me somewhat more likely to follow you.

Please do not steal my original (detailed) headcanons or icons or use images in posts tagged “My Edits” without my permission. If you’re not sure, ask me; I promise I won’t bite for such a question.

What Is Acceptable:

Mutuals always feel free to send me an ask, IM, or communicate in our RP thread if you have something to say or ask. Or if you just have a random comment! Seriously, anything.

Non-mutuals, honestly, if you’re not sure whether or not it is acceptable to interact with me in a certain way, and you try to interact with good or neutral intentions, I’m not going to be hostile or scary. If I’m not interested, I might not respond due to social awkwardness. Know that if this happens, I don’t want you to have hurt feelings; I appreciate your willingness to have wanted to interact with me.

It never hurts to follow me to see if I am interested in following back! At the very least, I am flattered for being considered.

Recently, I’ve been noticing a trend of people communicating out of character in the vaguest way possible, or alternatively being aggressive to the point of turning people off. I’m here to talk about the happy medium that helps us communicate our wants, goals, and limits. And to remind everyone of a few key things to always keep in mind when writing with other people in a group setting.

There’s also plotting and letting go of plots. Sometimes when you reach out to people, you’re really excited about a plot, and when it starts to play out, things go awry, and it creates a conflict that becomes difficult to deal with IC and we turn to OOC solutions. Character chemistry changes sometimes, or sometimes our writing styles don’t match. That’s OKAY! If you’re not feeling it, all it takes is a quick message. Something like:

YES ✓ “Hey, I’m not really feeling this plot/thread and would like to drop it. Thanks.”

NO ✘ Immediate unfollow and/or block.

Dropping threads/plots/etc does NOT give anyone the right to treat your fellow writers poorly. Being short with people and getting upset over in-character interactions is not the way to go. IC should never cross over into OOC, and we need to take a step back and really think about what we’re actually upset about. Be concise and specific when you message each other so nothing’s really left up in the air. Please remember that behind each character is a real, imperfect person using this roleplay as a creative outlet. Be patient with each other, avoid taking things personally, and if you can’t mesh well out of character, it’s easy to just bow out of a conversation with common courtesy and leave each other alone before things escalate. I’m going to go over a few points I think we need a refresher on.

Brace yourself, this is a long read, but worth it!

Consent: ALWAYS check in with your RP partners and make sure it’s okay to do something before just writing it, however insignificant it might seem to you. Please do not godmode dialogue, actions, or extensions of said characters (pets, children, parents, or other NPCs they’ve made) unless you’ve asked for permission. When in doubt, ASK to make sure it’s okay!

TAGS and Triggers: Please remember that a character’s actions and viewpoints do NOT reflect the actions and viewpoints of the writer. A little louder for those in the back: IC =/= OOC. We’re in a roleplay with a variety of characters that deal with things like infidelity, internalized homophobia, crime, sex negativity, sex positivity, family issues, race issues, gender norms, gender fluidity and other issues that affect people in the LGBT and POC communities every day. All we ask is that everyone portray these issues respectfully and if you don’t know how to, then please do not attempt to until you’re more educated. Nobody wants to read a mockery of issues we deal with on the daily in real life. While we love seeing diversity, you do NOT need to write about deeper issues to make your character interesting. That being said, don’t take it upon yourself to play blog police. Come to the admin if you see something that’s a cause for concern, and keep in mind that you do NOT have to interact with every character in the RP. We have a list of triggers, please tag them accordingly. As much as we all love seeing steamy aesthetics and faceclaim posts on the dash, please tag NSFW accordingly. Need something added to the list? Please reach out to the admin so we can add it!

SMUT: Sometimes, people bring in FCs that we REALLY like! And maybe you wanna write your character and that character getting together, but consider this: maybe that person doesn’t want to jump right into smut. It can come off as fetishizing if that’s the only thing you ever want to plot or write about. People do NOT owe you an explanation as to why they won’t write smut. Respect that. If your character is aggressively pushing a sexual plot and you are asked to stop OOC, then you need to full-stop. Sex is a sensitive subject, whether you think so or not, and we respect everyone’s boundaries here. We strive for a safe space to write IC and OOC. That doesn’t mean don’t write smut ever, just have full, explicit CONSENT. It’s that easy! Don’t be pushy or borderline creepy about it, because that’s the surefire best way to get unfollowed. Have a question? Come to the admin! You don’t have to tag NSFW, but you can if it’s getting extremely graphic, just out of courtesy.

Plotting: Are you reaching out to plot with someone? Have some ideas ready, don’t rely on the other party to come up with all the ideas. Is someone reaching out to you? Make an effort to bring something to the table, but if you feel pressured into coming up with a plot all on your own, it’s okay to decline if you’re not feeling it. Need help coming up with stuff? Reach out to us! We can help. Just don’t reach out to your peers, say you want to plot, and never come up with a starter or anything, then come back time and again asking for ideas when the other person still doesn’t have any. Not only is that annoying, it’s off-putting and indicative that the rp will rely on one person for the most part. Not cute!

Inclusivity: Don’t be afraid of branching out. Everyone likes writing with friends, and that’s a given, but make a conscious effort to reply to open starters. I understand sometimes people are nervous, but that’s something we need to work through. If you’re nervous approaching someone, consider that they might be nervous to approach, too. Don’t make assumptions about people based on what you see alone. Some people gravitate to certain characters, but that doesn’t mean they won’t interact with you. If I had a nickel for how many times people assume my characters won’t want to interact with theirs when that’s not true at all, I’d have a lot of nickels! Open starters are the best way to get a feel for a character. Be creative in your interactions and the way you invite other characters to interact with yours through starters for best results.

YES ✓ “Hey, a starter from this character I haven’t interacted with, let’s gooo!” NO ✘ Ignore starters because you think they only bubble rp and won’t reply to you. (Open starters are open for a reason!)

Respect Time and Muse: Sometimes, people have muse for certain threads, certain characters, and won’t always get to every single reply they owe. If you feel like there is a problem, too much time has passed, please approach that person because it’s likely they missed a response. Tumblr activity feed can be a little weird, and not everyone uses thread trackers. That’s okay! Again, this is a hobby. That being said, don’t agree to plot if you don’t see yourself following through, and please don’t disregard threads you have with other people. That’s frustrating, and you wouldn’t want the same done to you. Some people might be on sporadically throughout the day, or on for a brief time at night, or even be on all day! Either way, they don’t owe you an explanation as to how they’re using their free time. If it gets to the point where anyone is feeling pigeonholed in a plot, it’s affecting your ability to roleplay your character, and you’ve tried communicating, then reach out to us and we’ll help. Everyone’s got the right to write what they enjoy and progress their character’s development.

He Said She Said: Did you hear something from a third party about a person and now refuse to interact with them IC or OOC because of it? You should probably take a step back and ask yourself if it’s actually true or just hearsay just because someone else didn’t like them for whatever reason. A lot of us have similar or same aliases, but we’re not all the same people. If someone personally does something to you, if you SEE certain behavior, by all means bring it to the admin’s attention. But please don’t spread rumors or buy into unsubstantiated claims. That can be more damaging than you realize. Again, we’re all real people on the other side of the screen. What if it was you being talked about?

Unfollowing vs Blocking: Look, we get it. You’re not gonna mesh with everyone. Sometimes people won’t get a hint, or do things that you just do not agree with fundamentally on an OOC level. We have a no blocking rule because we don’t want anyone feeling left out. If you wish to unfollow a character, that’s not optimal, but allowed, but please respectfully let that mun know so they don’t continue to try interacting. If you have been asked to stop interacting, please respect that so it doesn’t HAVE to escalate to admin intervention. That being said, we are here to help and help keep the peace between everyone, so do reach out to us for any reason. Don’t block people. If it does escalate, reach out to the admin so we can step in. If you want to unfollow someone, be sure it’s not solely because of IC actions.

TL;DR: COMMUNICATE OOC and be respectful to your fellow writers. At the end of the day, nobody wants to feel ignored, disrespected, or passed over, so please don’t be the reason why somebody feels this way. Be inclusive as much as you can, but respect that you won’t mesh with everyone. Don’t spread false rumors. Character chemistry, writing style, or content will vary from character to character and mun to mun. If you have any questions at all, the admin team is here to help! But it’s not that deep, Jay, it’s just RP. YEAH, WELL that’s not an excuse to treat people poorly. We can do better.

Hi friends! so I’ve been wanting to add these for a while and am finally getting along to adding it to my rules. Pls like this post if you read and understand what I’m saying <3 thanks!

ROLEPLAYING WITH MULTIPLE OF THE SAME MUSE.

This is a NON-EXCLUSIVE blog.

Just because I roleplay with another mun that has the same muse as you does NOT mean that I like them more than you, or that you are not enough. I truly believe that every person has something different to offer for their muse---everyone portrays their muse differently, so it feels like a completely different character that Oliver is interacting with.

The specific verses we come up with for our muses are for our specific interactions only, and if I ship with you, I may not necessarily ship with others ( I AM a ship whore, however, so I will ship it if the other mun does ), and I would never favor one over the other.

On the flip-side, I will never give you problems for roleplaying with other Olivers. All the other Oliver blogs I have seen on my dash are amazing and I’m so happy you can have multiple people you write with. Because of this, I ask that you do not give me problems due to writing with the same muse that you have. If it is a problem for you, and you want to be exclusive, then I will have to decline writing with you.

I AM A SLOW AT REPLIES.

This should not come as any shock to any of you, especially since there was that six-ish month break I took from summer 2017 til February 2018. I will always try to reply to people in a fair manner---i.e., going to the older threads on my tracker first---but it also depends on my MUSE. If I don’t have muse for our thread, it does NOT in any way, shape, or form, mean that I do not like writing with you. If it truly becomes a problem for you, please contact me and I will do my best to do my reply to our thread the next time I am on my computer!

As a reminder to all of you, I just graduated college with two degrees and am in the process of looking for a job, but also teaching private music lessons and assisting in summer camps in order to still have income. I get busy, and sometimes I am so tired that I cannot get the energy to hop onto my computer, and I refuse to reply to things via mobile. I have also been in a lot of stress while in search for a job, since school starts in the Fall and I’m looking for a public school music teacher job---sometimes I will hideaway at home while binging a show on Netflix to put my anxieties about this job search at bay. That means I may not get on my computer to do replies in a week... or two weeks, even. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME.

Please do not expect more than twice a month of me going through my entire thread tracker with a few replies sprinkled here or there. If that is not enough for you, please contact me and we can try to make arrangements for more frequency, but since RP is for having fun, I want it to be fair for the both of us. If it is better for us to stop writing so you get more frequent replies and I don’t have to feel pressured to reply, then that is what we should do. Of course this is something we TALK OUT and determine at our discrepancy.

QUICKER REPLIES ARE EASIER TO REPLY TO THAN PARAS. One-liners are ways for me to feel productive when my muse is being iffy. When it comes to long paras, I want to give back as much as you gave me, and I am a perfectionist, so I will always take much longer with those. It does not mean I lost interest in our thread, it just means that I am waiting until it fits my view of perfection, or near-perfection.

I WILL ALWAYS TRY TO PRIORITIZE STARTERS OVER OLDER THREADS. I know how much it sucks to make a starter and for the person you plotted with to not respond. If you see me answering a bunch of starters but not our thread, which is older, I am aware that I haven’t replied to you yet. I will probably feel bad, but I don’t want people with starters for me to wait longer than they should. I also find that taking longer to reply to starters makes it harder for me to find muse, so I like to get them out of the way before that happens.

I AM A LAX AND CASUAL RP PARTNER. Real life comes first, as we all say, but I feel like some of us don’t actually TRULY feel this way once real life actually comes a-knocking. As aforementioned, I have a lot on my plate. Once I become a teacher full-time, I will be less free. I will come here to de-stress, but if I feel stress or anxiety concerning Rp-ing on here, it is certainly NOT my obligation to give replies. I love writing, and I love threads, but that is NOT my top priority. I hope you understand and respect that.

I AM ALWAYS HERE TO TALK THINGS OUT IF ANYTHING EVER MAKES YOU UPSET OR UNCOMFORTABLE. Seriously, always approach me. Chances are that I don’t realize that I upset you, and I will think everything is okay unless you approach me. Rules

Feel free to focus on bolded sections to skim for the subject of every bullet point. I’m way too wordy, but I just want to be informative. I’m not actually very strict or demanding!

How I Play:

I am semi-private and semi-selective. What this means is that people I’m following are free to interact with me in any way, IC or OOC. People who I do not follow are still totally free to follow me. They can send in asks about/to my muse either IC or OOC or ask about my thoughts on Danganronpa topics, but I am probably uncomfortable speaking OOC in DMs about RP or doing any kind of plotting. Non-mutuals can also send in starter memes, but they would be one-off types of interactions (meaning no growing relationship) and might not be continued very far in a thread. Feel free to message me with questions if this description isn’t making sense to you.

I may not follow back for myriad reasons all regarding my personal preferences (characterization choices, writing style/ability, frustrating blog layout, missing rules/info, etc). Please do not take this personally. If this happens, you are still welcome to initiate interaction with me in the above-mentioned ways! Also, if I do follow back, I definitely want to RP with you!

I will likely unfollow and decline to interact if you have too much OOC drama / anti behavior / fandom hate / bullying / callouts / discourse / politics / worldview on your blog. I repeat, I do not support callout culture.

This blog is not spoiler free. I have seen the playthroughs of all major Danganronpa games as well as much of the lesser-known content, and my posts will contain any such information without warning.

When Ouma is speaking, I have him adhere to Japanese customs to refer to others, meaning he will often use last names and honorifics when applicable from Japanese canon (to the best of my knowledge, which isn’t expansive or perfect).

I have depression as well as performance/social anxiety, and I am in college full-time. My moods, levels of inspiration/motivation, and availability will vary widely. I know that is inconvenient, sorry! So in general, I don’t push myself to be prolific, and can be slow at responding. I may drop a thread due to general anxiety (not necessarily related to the thread), lack of ideas, or loss of inspiration, my deepest apologies. Don’t feel bad and DO feel free to continue interactions with my muse in the future!

I am willing to play dark scenes including gore/violence, angst, horror, abuse, torture, my character’s death, etc., and there will likely be disturbing or mature content like that on this blog. Content warnings will be tagged with “cw:” followed by the label.

I choose to write sexual scenes. I reserve the right to portray non-platonic relationships and anything that entails, as well as potentially darker, unhealthy scenes and relationships (all with consent from the other mun, of course). However, I respect those who do not want to see or roleplay sex, will never push said people to do so, and will keep explicit sexual content under a ‘read more’, tagged “smut”. I expect to be treated with similar respect for my choice in written subject matter.

I only roleplay smut with muns who are above the age of consent. Please do not attempt if you are under age 18.

IC ≠ OOC, muse ≠ mun. As I am a sensible human being, the thoughts and actions of my muse that I write or witness are not necessarily ones I would support or agree with.

What I Appreciate:

I am a huge fan of thorough communication. If you are planning on attempting to kill or torture my muse, it would be nice for some notification of this (either in the post/tags or in a message) at least one post beforehand.

Please let me know if any part of my blog layout/organization is frustrating or dysfunctional on your screen or in your experience, and feel free to point out any major typos you see as well.

Please try to refrain from controlling my muse’s thoughts and actions (unless you have an IC ability to do so; ask me).

Please try to remember to start a new post instead of reblogging an ask post over and over. It makes things look neater and more organized.

What Is Acceptable:

People I am following, always feel free to tag me in posts, send me an ask / DM, or communicate in our RP thread if you have something to say or ask. Or if you just have a random comment! Seriously, anything.

People I am not following, honestly, if you’re not sure whether or not it is acceptable to interact with me in a certain way, and you try to interact with good or neutral intentions, I’m not going to be hostile or scary. If I’m not interested, I might not respond due to social awkwardness. Know that if this happens, I don’t want you to have hurt feelings; I appreciate your willingness to have wanted to interact with me.

It never hurts to follow me to see if I am interested in following back! At the very least, I am flattered for being considered.

RP Info:

IC =/= OOC. I cannot stress this enough. While there’s some things Talon and I agree on, he can be a grade-A asshole, and will say and do downright stupid and hurtful shit at times. He has his issues, but I won’t excuse his actions because of them. I’ll happily explain why he does things the way he does, but it does not mean necessarily I agree.

I will write anything from one liners and crack to multiple paragraphs. While sometimes I’ll drop a novel on you, it’s usually difficult to write replies of that length on a regular basis.

On that note, do not feel like you need to keep up with my length. However with the exception of crack and one liners, I’d appreciate getting at least 4-5 lines in a reply. While sometimes short replies happen and I understand that, I do get frustrated if I’m regularly getting 1-3 line responses when I’m handing you one or two paragraphs.

If you want to rp occurring abuse, you must talk to me about it first. Otherwise I’ll simply ignore it.

If I accidentally break one of your rules, kindly let me know. I will always read them before following and interacting, however I am only human and will make mistakes. I also do not send in passwords as they make me uncomfortable and I do not have one myself.

Smut and Shipping:

I will likely be selective on smut.

Talon is a very sexual and flirtatious muse, who is prone to having one night stands.

Talon is not particularly big on relationships, and any ship that happens is almost certainly going to be a slow burn.

SMUT =/= SHIP.

Do not even ask about insta-shipping, because I will not do it. However I am almost definitely down to see if the muses will ship given time.

If we do ship, I have a really bad tendency to want to jump around in their timeline once I have a good feel for how they interact with each other. If this bothers you, let me know.

Rules

Feel free to focus on bolded sections to skim for the subject of every bullet point. I’m way too wordy, but I just want to be informative. I’m not actually very strict or demanding!

How I Play:

I am non-private semi-selective, meaning I do not have to be following you in order to for us to interact and create threads, but I am still entitled to decline anything I don’t feel the desire to engage in.

I will likely unfollow and decline to interact if you have too much OOC drama/anti behavior/fandom hate/bullying/callouts/discourse/politics/worldview on your blog. HUGE pet peeves of mine. I repeat, I do not support callout culture.

I tend to be uncomfortable with interacting with RP duplicates of my muse. It is absolutely my own shortcoming and insecurity, but even just reading about others of the same muse often triggers my inferiority/superiority complex, and I feel very sensitive. I wish it were not this way and could better interact with my fellow muns with good taste in muse, but this is currently not the case. Again, nothing personal is intended, but I will most likely not be able to interact with the blogs of duplicates for my own personal comfort. There are exceptions to this, but it usually means we’ve become friends outside muse interaction first.

I may drop a thread due to general anxiety, lack of ideas, or loss of inspiration, my deepest apologies. Don’t feel bad and DO feel free to continue interactions with my muse in the future!

I play a character with a deadly power. That being said, I try my very best to keep him from being invincible or unbelievable according to canon. He absolutely has weaknesses, physical and otherwise.

I choose to write sexual scenes. However, I respect those who do not want to see or roleplay sex, will never push said people to do so, and will keep explicit sexual content under a ‘read more’, tagged “smut”.

I only roleplay smut with those who are above the age of consent. I am uncomfortable doing so with underage individuals, so please do not attempt if you are under age 18.

What I Appreciate:

Please try to refrain from controlling my muse’s thoughts and actions (unless that is your muse’s quirk; ask me).

Please try to remember to start a new post instead of reblogging an ask post over and over.

What Is Acceptable:

Always feel free to send me an ask, IM, or communicate in our RP thread if you have something to say or ask. Or if you just have a random comment! Seriously, anything.

If it seems like I’ve forgotten about a thread or neglected to respond and you you really want to continue it, feel free to message me to remind/ask about it.

Let me know if there is something you want tagged, and I will try to accommodate with what I see as reasonable.

I am 100% cool with us engaging in more than one thread at once. Do it!

I accept OCs and characters from other fandoms. It would be nice to have a some background on them first (either in a message or a link to info). For characters from other fandoms, I would prefer they have a BnHA verse, but you can always ask me if you have a different proposition.

I am okay with roleplaying total AUs (as in, a completely different setting), but it is not my default preference. The best way to go about seeing if I’m interested would probably be to message me.

As this is also just a general purpose Shigaraki fan blog, all types of blogs (aside from spam/porn and antis) are free to follow, like my posts, and reblog non-RP-related posts.
