the karma truthers and atw10mv truthers never gave up and their faith paid off, so why should i, an evermore long pond studio session truther, not receive the same reward? what have i ever done to deserve this negligence ?
god the fucking . “you remember it” at the end of atw. the shift from i to you. YOU remember it. don’t pretend not to. lord you made me feel important and then tried to erase us. don’t call me kid don’t call me baby. etc
“Are you real? […] I just feel like I made you up” -> “Is this for real? […] Kind of like it would be if you were to see snow falling on a beach.”
The glow up from the atw10mv ‘are you real’ that was based off a relationship that made taylor feel so ashamed and insecure to the point that she was left questioning the reality of things. A relationship where she was not getting any security or safety from the other person, vs. the snow on the beach ‘is this real’ that is still fearful but joyful, because this time she’s with a person who doesn’t want to play games, who’s in it just like she is. A lover who doesn’t ‘call her up again just to break her like a promise,’ but who ‘called and showed his hand.’
All Too Well (5 minute version) has all of the fire and fervor and devastation of a recent heartbreak and All Too Well (10 minute version) has the timeless nostalgia of retelling a coming of age story
Say Don't Go and Is it Over Now? are definitely sisters, how a guy who I assume is Harry didn't say I love you back to Taylor. Which reminded me of this song Harry co wrote called I Love You by Alex & Sierra the chorus goes "'Cause I love you more than you think I do
And I love you, now you don't want me to" I guess he did say it back but it was too late?
Sounds like someone else she's written about saying I love you "after 3 months in the grave"
