Good morning! Today Faith at 39 weeks and recovering from her surgery. She is off the CPAP and is just on her feeding tube for now until she can take all her bottles. She is back in pod#2 until she can go back to level #2 where she will be closer to going home. Please pray that everything goes well with her recovery and her brain and eye have no issues. I believe in the power of prayers and I praise the Most High God for His blessings and miracles on Faith. Today was special I got to hold Faith for the first time this week as she was being fed! She is super tiny but strong. Please keep her in your prayers that this bleeding in her head stops. Also doc called me this morning to say that her skin looked a little yellowish like a type of jaundice so she is going to be seen by a GI specialist tomorrow. Please pray that everything is normal! They have increased her feedings size and times so she is getting more and also she no longer is on IV or central line. She now is breathing mostly on her own but is on a NAVA respitory machine that only gives her support as needed. So mostly she is on her own. She is just feeding on my milk so pray that I still have more for her as she grows. I know that the Most High God is taking care of her and soon she will be coming home to play with her big sister and brother. Tonight NICU nurse took this really cute and adorable picture of Faith. She got her IV taken out because she is feeding well on breast milk and she no longer has a breathing tube but this tube that goes in her nose called Nava. So I was told that her lungs are strong and she is breathing mostly on her own with support as needed. I praise the Most High God for his healing on Faith and that she is making progress. I also pray that the bleeding in her head and brain stops and it clears up on its own. Please keep her in your prayers 🙏! NICU nurse took this picture of Faith today just before her hands on with me. Today was very interesting I got to touch her, feed her, change her diaper and I even heard her cry.
